Lara is on holiday in a lost atoll in the Pacific ocean when, during a visit in a library, she finds a book in which is narrated the legend of an ancient hidden temple, in the same island (Zephir Island), temple in which is hidden a powerful crystal containing the soul of a benevolent god called Kzaon that in the past he checked the power of the sea and he reigned on Zephir. Pushed by the curiosity Lara waits the darkness and she start the search of the entrance of the temple: begins so this new adventure for Lara in the Crystal Islands that it will bring her to overcome arduous proofs to recover the crystals and to face, before being able to return definitely at home, hostile enemies as Samantha (sister of Sophia) and a powerful evil god.
