An article in the Times: "Panic in the metro! Inhabitants of the east of Paris woke up in a panic last night. Around 2:30 am an accident occured on a line of the metropolitan during renovation work between two stations. A whole part of the tunnel would have collapsed, triggering violent quakes felt in some districts of the city. First testimonies say that there are some complex structures inside the hole, few experts are already claiming that this could be a new part of the catacombs. As some cracks appeared on several buildings, authorities have evacuated and closed the district to public. Tomorrow morning a team will explore the dig to find out if the area is secured enough to allow people to go back to their homes. A case to follow."
