It has been now over 20 years since the release of Tomb Raider II. Thats a hell of a time dont you think the same? Even after all those years people are still making custom levels for TR1-TR5. Awesome to see such a active community :-) . To celebrate with you all, I tried to create something special. My level will continue right after Lara Croft killed the dragon. I was never satisfied with the level length of "The Dragons Lair", so I thought why dont you make kinda like an expansion which takes place between "The Dragons Lair" and "Home Sweet Home". I would have liked to use the official Room Editor for TR2 but sadly it was never released. Luckily a community member did his own editor a long time ago. Huge credit to Turbo Pascal, you did a great job with this. I have tried my best to provide you all with a solid level. Unfortunately this unofficial editor has a lot of limitations compared to the official editor which gave me a lot of problems while building. Texture limits, enemy AI, portal limits, draw distance and light bulbs which tend to crash the game. I had to remove objects, statics and reduce a lot of rooms :-(. Make sure to read my readme file before playing. This will help you to avoid possible crashes! After all I hope you will enjoy this TR2 level, thank you for playing. |
