Reviewer's comments
"Unbelievably blandly-textured. Probably the level was very short because Lara couldn't stand the temple's un-beauty." - Charles Kane (19-Mar-2021)
"Not really much of a level, admittedly, but still not a complete waste of time. Climb a bit, run back and forth activating a handful of remote levers and make your way to the end after killing a grand total of three pterodactyls. There were some nice diagonal walls in the first room, so there's that. 5 minutes, 1 secret. 11/19" - Treeble (03-Nov-2019)
"Not an over inspiring attempt with quite bland textures all the same shades, some back tracking for levers and three enemies to kill. The pterodactyls were the highlight of the level. Five minutes and you are done." - Torry (11-Oct-2019)
"Not really a level but I think only an attemp to build a level. There is a "secret" though, several pterodactyls shouting as dogs, some switches to pull and some ledges to climb, but only about 5 minutes of gameplay. Flat texturization, simple architecture, etc. Not worth to play." - Jose (24-Apr-2019)
"Very little gameplay to speak of here. Shoot a few pterodactyls (who sound suspiciously like dogs), pull a few levers, do some climbing and the level ends. Very little effort has been made to create a convincing environment and lighting, texturing and atmosphere is rudimentary. Not really worth bothering with." - Ryan (29-Jul-2016)
"While usually I complain about lack of useful secrets in levels, this one is primarily about it - but while these two final pterodactyl adversaries end their airborne assault smoothly perforated with a pair of uzis obtained in a decently crafted lockup, everything else around appears just built the easiest way possible, with one switch puzzle, a single yet still skippable platforming ramp. But the level has no glitches and can be finished within several minutes before any chance for boredom may appear. SUMMARY: I possibly got this one just for completion, but I'm glad I did." - DJ Full (17-Aug-2015)
"Another short and uninspired level with the sole highlight being the opposing pterodactyls(who sound like dogs when they're killed) and nothing more exciting beyond that. So, only worth a quick look out of sheer curiosity." - Ceamonks890 (23-Sep-2014)
"Very bad textures in this short level. Only highlight were the birds to shoot here. Some climbing parts made me give 1 for gameplay, but I think this is even too much for this level. 1 secret found." - manarch2 (05-Dec-2010)
"This doesn't look too bad at all, especially the initial room, so it's a shame it never picks up with something more substantial to do or see. The dinos are worth the few seconds worth of confused looks they'll induce, but there's no context why we get to encounter them in this temple of all places. Could've been a long enjoyable raid if the author had persisted, but it ends before you can relish on that thought much longer. Nothing revolutionary here, but I can imagine worse things you could do with the 5 minutes this will take from you." - eTux (25-Oct-2010)
"There are two rooms, where we have to pull switches, and kill some flying dinosaurs. Isn't hard, we don't need the uzi too, what we find in the only one secret." - Obig (25-May-2010)
"Pterosaurs attack! Lara shoots the pteranodons down and they yelp like dogs. Only after they are safely dead does Lara confirm the identification. The lack of teeth, large wingspan, and crest on the head make these pteranodon, which is usually what people mean when they refer to pterodactylus, a smaller reptile. (As someone who has been scientifically trained, Lara avoids the layperson term pterodactyl.) Lara gets an Uzi secret, throws switches, climbs up and exits in five minutes." - dmdibl (12-May-2010)
"Wow that was short, going a bit back and fro for levers and that is it. Only thing you can pick up is a secret. Only enemies are of the flying kind, Pterodons, more like flying dogs if you had to believe their dying sound." - Gerty (17-Jan-2010)
"5 levers, 4 minutes of playtime, 3 pterodactyls (that sound like dogs when they die), 2 pistols, 1 secret, 0 fun..." - MichaelP (08-Nov-2009)
"The rather splendid looking pterodons that sound like dogs are probably the most interesting thing about this little level. The gameplay consists of pulling a few levers and running up and down a bit. There is a secret to find, but not even I could manage to miss it." - Jay (23-Sep-2009)
"4 minutes of pulling levers and shooting Pteradactyls (which sound like dogs),and that's all you have here. The textures are wallpaper'd and the whole level is crying out for some lighting to give it a vestige of atmosphere;but it's not to be." - Orbit Dream (23-Sep-2009)
"Another short 5 minutes level that looks like the first few rooms of a project that has just been started rather than a finished level. Kill 3 flying dinosaurs, find the uzis, throw a few levers, and head for the finish trigger, that's all." - Jerry (14-Sep-2009)
"It would have been good that this little raid had been part of a full scale adventure , it is well textured although repetitively , and has no flaws except that maybe the pterodactyls -the only enemies you met here- have somewhat a weird sound. But it lasts only 5 minutes, you only flip a few switches -one for a secret- and the lighting is absent. The textures were seen in Journey to Sumeria by the Vagrant." - eRIC (13-Sep-2009)
