Reviewer's comments
"Short 25 minute raid through Nevada territory that really is easy with the Desert Eagle you find right at the start. Miss that and you may have problems as the enemies are many and varied. There is a short maze and three key plus to find but the level is fairly linear so you don't really get lost at all (except remembering where that last plus goes). Graphics are reasonable." - Torry (14-Jan-2020)
"Despite the initial area looking like what could be a Nevada base level, this honestly is better described as a claustrophobic series of corridors as you search for buttons and cards or passes to operate remote doors. There is an underwater door in the very first area which is one of the last doors you open, and it took me a long while to realize that it was open as the camera clue showed it from the other side. Lots of baddies to shoot but really not a particularly engaging raid. 20 minutes. 10/19" - Treeble (06-Oct-2019)
"What's the point behind this author's level names? Anyway, Lara has once again blue eyes. This level is similar to the author's last release, according to gameplay and level setting. But this time it is made in a Nevada design. There might be a story behind these two levels and maybe this is the sequel of "Enter", but I didn't get anything of it, it's too unclear. It was quite fun playing this anyway." - Nuri (03-Jun-2019)
"This is a quick level of about 15 to 20 minutes. Gameplay consists of shooting guards, finding keys and navigating through a series of tunnels and underwater areas. There is some backtracking involved. Lots and lots of enemies, but also lots of weapons and ammo available. Enough that you shouldn't even need to use a single health pack! It's quick and easy, but it becomes very repetitive and in the end it wasn't that fun a raid." - Chel (04-Nov-2018)
"Personally, I enjoyed the adventure. The only thing that made the game a bit tiresome was the amount of guards and enemies that were placed on the map. They drive the pleayer crazy, actually. Thanks anyway." - Mehrbod (31-Jul-2018)
"Similar to the previous jungle level from this author, this time in Nevada, the gameplay consists about finding pass cards/fuses or press buttons to open doors. I never was a fan of the mazes/labyrinths so no much fun for me this time. Again, too many enemies to shoot (guards and dogs) but also enough ammo and extra guns. I could see an effort with the lighting, and the textures are better applied; again, some camera shots and some music too. Playable." - Jose (04-Nov-2017)
"A fifteen minute level with some backtracking, the biggest difficulty is to not get lost in the various mazes of corridors that the player must get through. The enemies are easily taken down with pistols, let alone the weapons you can easily find throughout the level. There is little variation in the textures of the levels so it does get a bit boring after a while. Overall this level is easy but not very fun." - Ejecta (14-Aug-2017)
"Level similar to TR3 High Security Compound, but in this one you get more weapons near the start to dispatch the guards, dogs and prisoners. Gameplay is about running in little mazes and look for puzzle items. I liked the rainbow eye. 25 minutes." - alan (23-Apr-2017)
"This is a bit of a step down from "Enter", I'm afraid. The textures are repetitive (although I liked the "eyes" themselves), progression through samey looking corridors was tedious and gameplay was repetitive. Not really recommended." - Ryan (15-Sep-2016)
"Upon booting this one up, I began to suspect that this was supposed to be the builder's initial debut before 'Enter', as seemingly everything about this level feels like a step back in every possible way from that game, ending up becoming even more uninviting and bland in the process. Personally, I'd recommend 'Enter' over this(but only slightly), as there have been far better custom levels released over the past 14 years that are worth far more of your valuable hard-earned time, than this release can ever hope to match. Best avoided." - Ceamonks890 (25-Oct-2014)
"This is even shorter than the builder's previous level and, to my eyes (no pun intended) not nearly as pretty. This time the action takes place in rather austere, grey base like areas with a lot of maze like corridors to negotiate. There are quite generous weaponry pickups, but the guards and dogs are easily dealt with by pistol power alone." - Jay (06-Jan-2014)
"I liked this level a bit more than "Enter", but not by a whole lot. The only step up being that all of the items and switches actually look like they belong here. Vic's levels almost remind me of Doom or similar FPS from the 90's; they are maze- like, full of enemies, and have key items that go in random places. Still, I had some fun in the twenty minutes I spent on it." - Xela (15-Jul-2013)
"Level isn't bad and it has rather quick, slightly boring gameplay. Textures aren't bad but are monotonous. You need to run around in some mazes, shoot many guards and find 3 keys to finish this level. Not bad taking into consideration the age of the level :)" - Casual Raider (10-Jul-2013)
"Of course better than "Vic's Valley", but with boring repetitive mazish gameplay, very uninteresting (because uniform) textures and too many guards to shoot and levers to find. Summary - a lower standard TR 3 level." - manarch2 (20-May-2011)
"We are in a base of Nevada. The main goal is get out from here by plain. I suggest, keep the harder weapons for the final battle. But be careful, there aren't medipacks, just weapons and ammos. Enemies are baddies, guards and dogs. Be careful on the corridors, before they will appearel. Ther aren't hard challanges, timed runs, and unfortunately secrets." - Obig (30-May-2010)
"I was hopelessly lost in this level and although there is a walkthrough, that one isn't that crystal clear. But I made it to the finishing trigger. There are many pick-ups although I could have liked a flare pick up and even one medipack more. I don't like to make a save, use a flare and reload to do whatever you have to do in the dark. Luckily there are only two places you need extra light. For the rest, yup, shooting and collecting fuses and a card." - Gerty (19-May-2010)
"Simple corridors, many maze-like, with Lara getting Desert Eagle to shoot guards until her ammo gets low, then she gets the shotgun to shoot more guards, and then the Uzis to shoot more guards. A nice touch with ammo lying on the ground, glowing in the dark--tempting--but when Lara lights a flare the goodies are surrounded with barbwire. I liked the way Lara came back to the beginning underwater, to use the Yellow Plug. Takes almost twenty-five minutes, but really needs more than its mostly barren walls and rooms." - dmdibl (11-Apr-2010)
"Visually I preferred Vic's previous level. While this one is slightly less flat, the lighting and texturing is rather repetitive, apart from one room where the author has gone mad with experimentation and colours. Also had a couple of weird texture swap/graphical issues throughout the game. Completed in 34 minutes." - TheStig (16-Nov-2009)
"It's another very old level, and it's another relative disapointment. You run along maze-like corridors, blasting away guards and dogs and picking up key-cards and plugs and the occasional powerful weapon;until you eventually discover the McGuffin (in this case,a Stealth Bomber which lacks collision) and end the level.Twenty-five generally unmemorable minutes, aside from the eyes themselves." - Orbit Dream (22-Oct-2009)
"Sometimes I don't really get the causal relation of a level and its title. This is such a case. But well, that is the builder's affair. Anyway, I found it rather boring running around empty and maze-like rooms and long passages, all looking the same (except for one colourful room), shooting a dozen of guards and only collecting some ammo and the one or other keycard or key plug now and then. Nothing to worry about." - Jerry (17-Oct-2009)
"I guess I liked the left eye better due to its rainbow colours, but that is really not what this level is about - it is a plain vanilla base level with lots of guard shooting, button pushing, card and plug finding and using as you progress through a set of very small maze like structures. Souns a bit boring but it really is not all that bad and provides 20 minutes of simplistic entertainment." - MichaelP (21-Sep-2009)
