Reviewer's comments
"A nice shooter level, Great if you need combat training." - JoeTheCrazyGamer (01-Apr-2020)
"This Tomb Raider 3 level is an outright shooter and there are enemies a plenty in this 20 minute romp. Watch your health as you will run out of med packs long before you run out of Desert Eagle ammo." - Torry (30-Dec-2019)
"The level title should give it all away, really. Yes, it is a shooter level. There are four side rooms with simple tasks (jumping, riding a quad up some slopes, a maze) but mostly what you get here is a lot of bad guys to kill. Like a lot. So many at the same time that the engine fails to render them, causing them to flicker on screen. You are likely to run out of medipacks long before running out of Desert Eagle ammo, so feel free to use the extra firepower at your disposal. Other than that, not really much else to say. 15 minutes. 12/19" - Treeble (09-Dec-2019)
"For a short level this was actually quite fun. A few tasks to perform behind several doors in a hub room, including a short quad bike ride and a few enemies to shoot. The setting is functional as can be expected of test levels but it is worth a look." - Ryan (22-May-2016)
"Essentially nothing more than another relatively standard shooter-themed release(under the guise of a test level), that has you easily killing a considerable amount of enemies across multiple empty and ultimately unappealing-looking rooms for seemingly no other reason beyond insatiable virtual blood lust, with some quick bouts of platforming, maze traversing and quad bike riding added in for a bit of variety. So, if that sounds up your alley and you literally can't get enough out of easily overpowering your foes, then I'd say its worth the quick fifteen-minute playthrough while it lasts." - Ceamonks890 (05-Oct-2014)
"This level is based around a hub that is presumably supposed to be the titular arena, with four offshoot areas of varying themes. There's no added lighting, but the use of textures to theme the five sections does at least show some attention paid to theming (despite a lot of the application and alignment being dodgy). Gameplay is short and basic but what's there is okay and doesn't have glaring issues; as the name suggests there's a lot of shooting (and some parts have so many enemies that objects start glitching out), but there's also some other gameplay, such as some jumping sequences and a quad bike ride. Unfortunately the last challenge is probably the most uninspired (a maze). This level isn't really worth going out of the way to play, but it shows some effort at being fun and kept me entertained for the duration." - Mman (02-Feb-2012)
"This is well titled - Lara gets to explore four rooms off a main hub room whilst being shot at by scores of enemies. Luckily, plentiful fire power is provided, not to mention the opportunity to run over a few enemies during the (sadly) very short quad bike ride. Other than that, there's just a bit of basic agility in the way of jumps and slides and not very much in the way of eye candy in the surroundings. Fast paced though and if you like shooters, it might just entertain enough for half an hour." - Jay (01-Feb-2012)
"This is a rather fun 25 minute adventure, containing a few jump sequences;a motorbike ride;a rolling-boulder challenge;and plenty of massed slaughter.None of this is very difficult, least of all the assorted maasacres, due to the huge and copious arsenal at your disposal;but there's an undoubted element of fun throughout the straightforward proceedings.Although the enemy placement is generous, there is nothing else within that category worth commenting on;and atmosphere, lighting and textures are as basic as can be expected from this type of 'unnoficial' shooter-scenario. Those in the mood for this sort of no-frills aventuring will find something to enjoy here;the rest should look elsewhere." - Orbit Dream (29-Jul-2010)
"Quite linear level with rather not so good textures. You will lead through by game itself. Some soldiers to shoot. Not challenging but acceptable." - manarch2 (27-Jul-2010)
"Not such a bad level actually - well structured, obvious flow, a few slope jumps in a lava room, a quad bike and many soldiers to shoot. 20 minutes in a classic run and shoot game." - MichaelP (12-Jun-2010)
"Lara has to complete four separate areas, and fight a legion of guards. If she gets most of the pickups she will have Desert Eagle, Uzis, shotgun, MP5, and plenty of ammo and medipacks for the dozens of guards that sometimes attack at once. Except for the combat, there is nothing too demanding, maybe a run from a boulder and slide/jump over lava. There is a quad bike to drive over ramps and enemies. The main detraction here is the basic environment and texturing. Twenty to twenty-five minutes." - dmdibl (08-Jun-2010)
