Reviewer's comments |
"A wonderful seasonal offering, proving again how well this builder and Easter go together.
Here you explore a little town in search of the Easter bunny and the main game has you deal
with a five lever puzzle with a clue and a slightly tedious push puzzle, as well as
searching a series of keys and some mild acrobatics in the boiiler room. There are some nice
scenes in between to progress the little storyline and if you skip the secret quest you
should reach the end in less than 30 minutes. However, the secret quest is definitely worth
trying your luck at, as it adds another 10-15 minutes of gameplay." - MichaelP (15-Mar-2024) |

"This is Grey so ofc I failed without a walkthrough, but this time I used it for secrets and managed to tackle the entire main plot without help which is a big improvement. The level cuts off a bit short, I thought something more will happen - but I also understand why the remaining long secret parts were left optional. I think we need more animal characters in custom games. A very nice level for Easter but also other times." - DJ Full (18-Nov-2023) |

"A cute little easter level this one very appropriately set in "bunny town" where the locals
are half bunny half human and your mission to find the easter bunny. The town itself is all
very light and warm with bright colours, textures and cute little tunes to entertain you but
dont expect the gameplay to be simple and easy to fit the setting here! there is quite a few
head scratching puzzles and tasks here which i needed a walkthrough for a couple of times
because it really isnt clear where to go next or where to use that item or clue you've
found. i really thought the pushable object puzzle was fun and clever as was all the
gymnastics in an underground room to reach a jump switch, there is also a wind up mechanical
beetle task and some fun platforming to reach obscure places and areas. i missed a timed run
or tasks and some traps maybe but there's definitely enough variety here in gameplay as your
not just simply item collecting as i expected it to be so all in all it was quiet a nice
surprise!" - John (16-Jan-2022) |

"Easter level different from the usual canons. We are in Bunny Town, and as by name, the cheerful town is inhabited by rabbits. but... the Easter Bunny is gone! It's up to Lara to find him. Between railway stations and bars, bartenders and greengrocers, we will follow Lara wandering around the colorful town, until the final epilogue. In my opinion, Bunny Town is one of the funniest and most original levels of aspidetr Easter Time, and along with Dj Full's Egging, "grotesque" and absolutely brilliant. Anthropomorphic rabbits, including the Mayor, talk to Pingu's voices, and it's hard not to laugh and have fun. If you want to spend some time in joy, with a level out of the box, play it! The Boyz Are Back in Town!" - Talos (08-Apr-2021) |

"This Easter small level is very nice to play. Colourful environments in a small village, rabbits everywhere, some interesting puzzles and well placed cameras. The secrets are very hard to find, I only found a part of the code for the keypad so I couldn't discover anything. Well placed new textures, but I found the rooms and streets very empty of objects. Ideal to take a peaceful ride. Good work, Greywolf." - Jose (19-Jul-2020) |

"As many of you know, I don't like to have to think a lot
while I'm playing a custom level. I'm quite comfortable
knowing exactly what to do and where to go (courtesy of a
walkthrough) while I'm enjoying the visual amenities
provided by the builder. At no time is this strategy more
rewarding than at Easter season, when the raiding community
is treated to colorful, quaint and offbeat entertainment
with few if any enemies or hazards to spoil the peaceful
bliss. Judging from Dutchy's walkthrough, however, you can
finish this level prematurely and miss out on a substantial
amount of gameplay if you don't detour for the secrets. The
key is a jumpswitch that I would not have known to look for,
let alone found, had it not been for the walkthrough (ample
vindication for my playing philosophy noted earlier). Now
that I'm catching up with levels missed due to that marathon
writing project for Templars' Treasures, I couldn't have
picked one more enjoyable." - Phil (07-May-2020) |

"What an utterly charming Easter level this is. The town is colourful and delightful, the birds are singing and there are lots of fun rabbit references about the place. Gameplay is, of course, peaceful and not taxing, but there are nice puzzles to solve and quirky interaction with the town’s residents. For anyone who needs cheering up in this difficult time, this is a great little pick me up." - Jay (02-May-2020) |

"The builder never ceases to provide nicely festive Easter levels and this is no exception. The Easter bunny characters are so cute and the bright and colourful settings are nicely done. The gameplay is varied but not always quite intense - some sections like the upper parts of Easter Bunny's house are a bit boring - but the letter and table puzzles are better. I deducted one point in the first category though because when you save/reload in the luggage room you cannot get out because of an invisible block in front of the door. I also noticed a paper thin wall in an actually pointless crawlspace and some shadows seem a bit weird and unrealistic. The secret quest at the end was a nice addition and with the lovely final cutscene I ended up with overall positive feelings about this level after 25 minutes." - manarch2 (01-May-2020) |

"That was utterly complicated in a couple of instances.
Still, I did enjoy this little level and I'll pretend we
can all travel right now as the Bunny did. I never got to
use the scarab (or whatever, because I only found the
winding key) in spite of having raised the platform and
jumped to the ledge where I think I was supposed to make it
work. It's a peaceful Easter present and I liked it more
than chocolates though. Thanks, Greywolf." - Jorge22 (17-Apr-2020) |

"This is an utterly sweet level for the
Easter season. The main town area with its
various multicoloured houses and cute
bunny characters is so charmingly crafted,
the object placement is brilliant and the
extended secret quest a nice touch. The
gameplay isn't without its moments either,
with a neat word/lever puzzle, a table
puzzle and some enjoyable gymnastics in
the boiler room. Maybe there was a tad too
much backtracking, but not to the extent
that it gets annoying. The final cutscene
is quite rewarding and rounds off this 45
minute level. Really nicely done." - Ryan (15-Apr-2020) |

"Very pleasant Easter level. The general town looks very
cute and colorful, which made it a nice atmosphere. But in
addition to the town itself, there are other locations such
as a train station or cafe. The sounds themselves are
relaxing (although not so much in the basement). There are
also very interesting and ingenious puzzles here. There are
no enemies, which means there is no weapon. The whole level
is very nicely textured and illuminated (except the
basement which was a bit monotonous). There were also many
different objects, which diversified the game. Regarding
the secrets, they were really ingenious and quite well
hidden. In a word, I recommend. Thanks." - BlackWolfTR (14-Apr-2020) |

"Here we have cryptography, easter eggs, and of course many bunnies. The puzzles are the bulk of the gameplay and I quite enjoyed them. The level is also quite atmospheric. A short and sweet Easter entry to lighten the mood. 35 minutes." - JesseG (13-Apr-2020) |
