Reviewer's comments
"It's just a bike and a set of big dark rooms to ride through. Many times I found lava pits that weren't deadly at all. I never found that wrath. After you have explored all rooms you come to the start so there's nothing more to do." - alan (29-Jan-2020)
"Well, I expected a smaller map with more dangerous situations, but this is a huge map without much problems except a single jump over a pit. No much care with the texturization, many passages are quite dark, but you'll always have the light from your bike. Not entertaining but only to take a ride." - Jose (14-Dec-2017)
"I think the story in the info section puts it better than anything -"It's a racing level with a bike". Nothing more, nothing less. If you don't expect anything more than that from it, it's quite fun for the few minutes it lasts." - Jay (19-Jun-2016)
"Two points for enemies and gameplay because the bike and the soldiers at least provided an element of challenge. Nothing else to do." - Ryan (05-Apr-2016)
"Looking at this level from the classic TR point of view we can't notice anything great, but as for a race track it's quite impressive. While the lighting could be less random and texturing cries for variety, I kept wondering what yet lies ahead as the path seemed endless yet diverse in geometry. Then I looked into stats and found out a single lap is 2000 metres long. A wraith we cannot get rid of chases us on the way along, but he's too slow (hahaha what now, you turquoise bastard!), the sentry gun can be bypassed without health loss as well, and two secret medikits are provided just in case (one doesn't register)." - DJ Full (30-Jan-2016)
"While not really offering anything different(as far as the unofficial racing sub-genre goes for custom levels), I have to admit that this was quite a relaxing one to go through, managing to last around 4-5 minutes for me(with some quite decent lighting utilization present, despite the poor texture work and lacking enemies/objects.) So if you're searching for a level to help alleviate stress after a long hard day, then this is one worth looking into at the very least." - Ceamonks890 (29-Jun-2015)
"This is an interesting and unique level as it is basically a large underground track, therefore game play is limited to driving the bike around and jumping a couple of gaps. There are a few sections that can be explored per foot, but there is nothing interesting to be found other than a wraith, a swarm of locusts and a sentry gun. The texturing is basic and repetitive and it is fairly dark. Since there is no finish trigger it is recommended to drive into the lava lake where Lara and the bike explode and the level will end." - Blue43 (15-Oct-2011)
"Having played this level for making the WT a long time ago, I forgot to review it - so here is my review now. Although texturewise badly executed, I really liked the circle racetrack of this level and you indeed had to do few jumps and keep alive while jumping down some rocks with the motorbike. The rooms had a relatively good architecture and you could visit some fire lakes and drive over few enemies. Not a real level, but it gave some fun." - manarch2 (24-May-2011)
"There aren't many 'racing levels' out there, and for very good reason:you can't do much with the format,as the LE wasn't designed for competetive gaming. In this instance you drive around and around a bland but rather well-lit underground environment until you eventually decide you've seen absolutely everything there is to see and quit the game;that's it .If you want a good TR race game, try 'Jungle Rush'." - Orbit Dream (10-Dec-2007)
"Another race level set in egyptian/desert conditions, all Lara can do is to run around in circles on the bike, there are some enemies too, like the wraith, locust swwarm & I even heard amachinegun somewhere, though not much of excitement in this levle." - Anurag (08-Feb-2006)
"A 2 minutes racing level. Ride the bike and follow the path until you are back again at the beginning. Not really exciting but somehow relaxing after playing a tough level." - Treeble (23-May-2004)
"I had no bike to get around this underground system. I asked the editor to find it for me and it showed the bike in the second room. I added another bike thinking that would show nope still no bike. So I went around here on foot triggering butt enemies. It seems to me that the author designed the level before texturing it. Some areas are nice some look strange but I do like those transparent Egyptian texture walls. It's purely a bike ride through tunnels up slopes and here and there you can choose go to the left or the right. There are a couple of places with sharp slopes where you can get stuck forever." - CC (07-Mar-2004)
"Well I loved the trip with the bike. I don't know why but I like levels that you ride a bike or jeep and step on it. It's a long way to get through this one not the usual five minutes more like fifteen I would say. A machine gun a swarm and spirits will annoy you for a while. If you like levels with no enemies or puzzles but you like to race this one is for you." - Kristina (23-Dec-2002)
"I think it's just me but I think these vehicle levels are fun and a nice change from what I usually play this level was no exception. You are chased by some spites for a while and there's a machine gun shooting as you pass by at one point a nice camera view as you jump over a pit in one place but unless you want to try out one of the vehicle levels don't bother." - eTux (03-Dec-2002)
"I'm not so happy with those PRJ files. This time during converting I go a few messages like:"We found some errors shall we repair?" or "we found some missing g 45 shall we repair?". I always clicked ok because there was no other option but I wonder if the level I finally got was what everyone else went through. For instance I got no motorcycle but a quadbike instead. But hey it was a long ride though a patchwork course with not too many thrills and that seems to be the overall impression here. There is one good jump that is accompanied by a neat camera angle but otherwise it is rather dull as far as gameplay and puzzles are concerned. Me having the quadbike I got stuck in some corners every once in a while and I wished there was something to do really other than to drive around." - Dimpfelmoser (08-Nov-2002)
"The name pretty much says it all: it's a motodrome but of course not a regular one. You're being chased by spirits a swarm of insects and one moment I thought I heard a gun rattling. The little points it gets is for the long tunnel (no enemies) that was 2 seconds spooky. Other than that well I you like to drive around in the sidecar you may love it (a bit)." - bERT (03-Oct-2002)
"This is a racetrack level. Unfortunately my copy seemed to be missing something to race with so I completed this on foot. What can I say? I wish I had of taken a six pack and a cut lunch. Right at the beginning of the level as I approached one of those nefarious floating 'butts' it took off and started running away from me (seriously) so maybe "IT" got to the motorcycle first? I must say that seeing that butt run off with the accompanying sound the horsemen make had me in fits of laughter and if there was a score for 'funny' I would have given it a 10 LOLOL." - Torry (19-Sep-2002)
"I'm not a fan of vehicles but the boss asked me nicely so here I am driving that racetrack. Luckily I could go slow most of the time. That suited me well. Also it is quite dark so you only have the headlight to guide you through. 06-07-2002" - Gerty (10-Jul-2002)
"If you just want to go for a bike ride then check this one out as it has a nice long and quite interesting underground course to follow. It took me about 15 minutes to play with one secret and a whole lot of bumpy action along the way. I would have preferred some enemies to run down but that may be saying more about me than this level." - Sash (21-Jun-2002)
"This is indeed as the name of the level suggests a pure fun underground racetrack for the bike. Little else in it takes about 15 minutes (or as long as you want to drive back and forth) and I really enjoyed the sometimes quite spooky atmosphere with the headlight of the bike reflecting from the walls." - Michael (21-Jun-2002)
"This is merely a huge racetrack for the motorcycle full of bumpy terrain and a few ramps and lava hazards. My first instinct was to race through but quickly realized there were times where I needed to slow down as there were steep drops and some areas were so dark I had to slow down and look around to see where to go next. Some of the areas were a little drab but some room had some interesting looks and textures - I liked the lava ceiling in the first room. Great for people who just can't get enough of the motorcycle." - RaiderGirl (21-Jun-2002)
"A racetrack that can be finished in three minutes. It might be fun if you like driving the motorcycle but not if you're looking for anything more complicated than that. The lighting is quite good (very dark though) and the texturing is rather good even if it is very repetitive." - Magnus (21-Jun-2002)
