LOST LAND – PALACE GATES

There are five secrets to be found, one in Palace Gates, three in
Catacomb Ruins and one in Inner Chamber.
Level 1: PALACE GATES
Begin by jumping over to the central ledges and make you way right to an
outside area, go down to ground level and find the watery doorway.
Enter here and go through the door on the other side of the room, find a
movable block up on the ledge, move it onto the grey tile and hear a door above
you open.
Now head out and on leaving the temple room, shoot the vase on the left
of the exit door and collect some ammo. Now leave here and go back up to the
top temple room where you started.
Head straight across the room and jump over to the ledge in front of
you, climb the block and find the new opened door. Go up and see to your left
some blades, ignore that way for now and head down the stairs to another
outside area. Kill the crocodile and any Ninjas lurking around.
First, open the door to secret one.
There are three wall switches to use to open this door. Look for the
doorway in the North wall and climb up into it. Go through the corridor and at
the first set of steps look up and to your right for a ledge to climb up to,
use the wall switch and come down, continue on up the corridor until you see a
big black and brown urn on your left, just past it is another ledge to climb up
to on your left. Use the wall switch there twice, once to collect some ammo and
again to see view of secret door.
Now head down to the ground and continue up the corridor, at the end
drop down into a new passageway, go right killing a Ninja that shows up, then
go left then right to find a small brown pillar, to the right of that pillar in
the corner is a movable block, move it and enter the new passageway, head on in
until you come to some stairs, turn around and look up, climb up that ledge and
light a flare, make your way through the tunnel until you find the third secret
door switch at the end, use it and see the door to secret one open, you can get
it later on.
Go back to the stairs and head on up, kill the Ninja at the top and take his
Shotgun. Go right and continue on through until you come to a ceiling ladder,
use it and hurry because a Ninja hops onto that ladder with you. At the end
drop off and take out the Ninja then go round to the right then right again to
find a ledge to jump to which has a hang lever on it. Use the hang lever and
see a new door open.
Now on ground level, you can now go collect secret one so head to the
doorway in the North wall and make your way back to the temple area.
Once in the temple, head outside again and down to ground level, head
left and enter another area with a small pool, kill the scorpion and jump the
slopes up to the right corner, here you will find the open door to Secret One,
the Uzi, some ammo and a large med pack.
In this area you can also open a door to use later on, so pick off the
Ninja on the high ledge then go down to the slope at the bottom of the ledge
and use it to back flip up and grab the upper ledge. Go round and find the wall
lever and use it to open a door up in the South East corner of that area, this
is where you will place the “Canopic Jars” much later on.
Head back up to the high temple room and go across to the other side and
re enter the blue door, on the left of you see those blades and that’s where
you have to get across so judge them and enter the next area.
Here you have to turn around and jump back off the edge with a grab, now let go
and grab again to catch an invisible crack, shimmy left and climb up into the
crawl space. Go through but not to the end; look for a ladder to climb up on
the left wall. Make your way up and through the next passage to another ladder,
go up and kill the Ninja waiting at the top.
Now go over to the North side of this ledge, stand at the left and go
down one level, head on and in the corner on your left find a room to climb
into, use the lever in there to open a door nearby. Now head out of the room
and forwards to a block with a coloured stripes on the top of it, look left of
here and see a new door to enter, up in a cubby hole.
Kill the two scorpions in this new area and make you way up the light
coloured block to the ledge above. Now go to the left, kill the Ninja that
shows up and make your way around the passage until you come to a hole in the
floor in a corner. Don’t go down it look right of it and jump up to the left of
this slope, slide down and quickly jump off to the left to land on a safe ledge,
collect the ammo and small med pack. Light a flare and slide down the slopes,
at the end of the fourth slope jump and grab to a safe ledge. Use the wall
switch there twice to collect a large med pack and to see a view of a closed
blue door, there is another wall switch to find to open that door so jump down
into the water below. You can’t kill the crocodile so just swim past it until
you surface.
Now head through the doorway in the South wall to take you back to the
ledge you started this journey from. Go straight ahead again until you come to
that hole in the ground, this time go on through the passage to the left until
you hear some blades at the top of some stairs. Light a flare and look to the
left for a dark hole to drop down into, and then make your way through the dark
tunnel until you see a room above to climb up into, collect the flares and use
the wall switch to see that new blue door view.
Go back the way you came and at the top of the hole head on down the
stairs, then continue until you come out to an area with a ceiling ladder to
use, swing across and use the wall switch on the other side to finally open
that blue door.
Go back over the ladder and make your way back up the stairs and through
into the outer area where you killed those two scorpions earlier. Enter the
blue door that’s at ground level and head back to the area with the small
monkey swing. Head right and make your way back up to where you killed the
Ninja at the top of the ladder area. Now position yourself as before, facing
North and standing on the left side of the ledge. Now jump up to the left and
use the slope there to back flip to the upper ledge collect some flares and go
down into the long hole to collect some ammo. Come back out and run jump
Northwards over to the other side then go up one level on the right to find a
ceiling ladder to use.
Swing over to the other side until you come to see a wall ladder in front of
you, line up and drop then grab the wall ladder, then shimmy round to the right
and climb down, turn right and use the crawl space to enter a new area, go left
first and collect some ammo then go through the new door.
Head on up and kill the waiting Ninja, then use the wall lever there to
open the door to the crowbar. Go down to ground level and kill the three scorpions
and a Ninja that show up, also beware of a falling rock. Make your way over to
the entrance door in the West wall. Jump to the block on the right of you and
then go right to find the open gold door holding the crowbar, go up one level
and collect some ammo, then come out and run jump over to the area where the
two small pillars are, go through and collect a large med pack from a long
crawl space then come back out. Jump back over to the crowbar area and get back
outside. On the block near the entrance door is the Gold Star, use the crowbar
to take it and go back to entrance again. Jump or slide down to land by the
blue door, turn and do the drop shimmy again to the invisible crack and head up
the crawl space once more. This time go all the way to the end and go down the
ladder at the bottom to find the receptacle for the Gold Star. Place it and use
the floor lever in the new opened door at the side of you. Now you are ready to
enter level two.
Level 2: Catacomb Ruins
Go through the tunnel and there is a rumble, ignore it and head on
through the cave and watch the lovely flyby scene.
Kill the bats and go down into the room, move the statue onto the tile
with the face on it at the opposite corner of the room, a block will rise and
also a floor hatch will lower in the South West corner of the room.
Climb up the risen block and jump over to the left of you, enter the hallway
and go all the way through to another area. Just before the bridge look right,
there is an idol to kill a wraith who shows up later on, opposite that is a
brown door. Go over the bridge to the end and climb down to the right, use the
ladder there to climb half way down, and then shimmy round into the alcove. Use
the ropes to get to a cubby hole on the other side where you will find a floor
lever to use. This opens the brown door above. Make you way back to that brown
door using the ladder and find the torch.
Go to the crawl space and throw the torch through the passage, crawl in and
pick up the torch then throw it again, you can now come out and pick up the
torch.
Go back to the raised block room and head on down the floor hatch. Find
the lit wall sconce to light the torch and get ready to run, as soon as you
light the torch a wraith appears so drop the torch and head out and onto the
bridge again to where that idol was. When the wraith has been killed, go back
and collect your torch. First get Secret One from this level by lighting the
right green pot up on the ledge in the raised block room, then head up the
block and go left again, at the end of the passage drop down and look left, see
a new opened grated door and enter here, dive into the pool and swim through to
surface at Secret One, small and large med pack and two lots of ammo.
Now take the torch up onto the raised block and head over to the right
alcove. Find the two wall sconces to light there and open the large brown doors
in that room. Take the torch with you!!!!!
Enter and watch the flyby, then have your shotgun loaded. Go over to the
edge of the ledge and throw the torch down to the bottom level of this room. Then
go to the right of the ledge and use the ladder to climb down. Skeleton
Alert!!! Shoot the skeletons off the edge with the shotgun; try to only use two
or three shots as this will conserve ammo for later on. Now, from the bottom of
the ladder face East and go forwards, jump to the next ledge ahead of you then
over again, now on this path go left then right, left again and right again
until you are at the East wall. Now turn left and move on a little way, you
will see a green pot in the corner, before you get that far stop and look left
of you and go over to the edge of the path, look down to see a cubby hole in
the wall in front of you, jump down using action to let Lara glide into the
cubby hole. Now make your way through the cubby holes and over the ledges until
you come to a floor lever, use it and see a floor hatch open on the ground
level. Go out of the lever alcove and drop down, head left then right and in a
dark corner find the new opened floor hatch. Remember where it is and go find
your torch you threw down earlier, watch out for lurking skeletons! Take the
torch back and enter that dark hole, throw the torch through the gap in the
wall so it lands in the next room.
Now come out of the hole and head over to the South East corner of the
ground floor area where you will see a burning pot in the corner. Be careful
here and light a flare as there is a dark hole ahead of you. Stand by the hole
facing East and jump back and grabbing the edge of the hole then let go and
slide down still using action so Lara grabs the next two edges of the slides,
on the last one climb up and flip back onto a ledge.
You are now in the burning water area.
From that ledge find the ceiling ladder and make your way around until you see
a wall ladder, line up to it and drop down grabbing the wall ladder, shimmy
round and climb up to a new ledge. Now look up and see another ceiling ladder
to use, get onto it and swing over to the North East corner and drop down
grabbing the crawl space there. Crawl through and enter the new room, make a
note of the unlit wall sconce here and also on your left is a ladder to get out
of here. Go through into the next room and a mummy shows up, ignore it and go
get your torch from the passageway, now light the wall sconce in that area and
also light the one in the starting passage, you will now see that three new
doors have opened, a gold one, brown one and a black and white one, the gold
one is what we want first and its in that burning water room.
Leave this room now and head up the ladder to the outside area, drop
down to ground level and head for that burning water room again, its over in
the South East corner incase you are lost! Do the whole slide routine again and
get up onto that upper ledge again, now head over the ledges and find the new
open gold door. Enter and take the First Trident. The door is closed now so
shoot all of pts in that room (make sure you shoot them all if you want to
collect the secret from Inner Chamber Level) Now be quick to leave because
scarabs are released. Before you leave this area go get Secret One of the Inner
Chamber level.
Come out onto the ledge in the burning water room and go left, drop down
onto the lower ledge and use the ceiling ladder again but this time go off to
the right where you can see a new open grated door, go in there and through to
the Inner Chamber Level to collect the one and only Secret from that level,
large med pack and the laser sight. Now leave and return to the burning water
room. Get onto the ceiling ladder and go back up to the top ledges, then make
your way back through the crawl space and into the mummy room, use the ladder
again to bring you back to the outside area.
Drop down to ground level and head over to the North West corner of the
room, look here to find a ladder to climb on a ledge wall. Go up and make your
way all the way round to the far right of the room, as far as you can go! When
you are at the South wall turn and face East and see another ledge to jump to,
then go over again to the next ledge. Go get secret two now. On the ledge you
are on and at the South wall see a dark sloped passage, beware as you approach
as a boulder falls, when it has gone go up into the room and break the pots to
find Secret Two, three lots of ammo.
Ok, now head back out and jump over to the next ledge on your right,
head left until you come to the end of the ledge then look up to see a ceiling
ladder, get on it and swing to the wall ladder on the left wall, drop down and
grab the wall ladder then go into the cubby hole there. Go through and climb
the ladder to the top, see a place to put a star, that’s for later on so stand
at the edge of the ladder hole opposite the ladder itself and drop back, grab
and release then grab again to catch the ledge below you, now go through and
climb down to a new ledge area. Head left and over to the far ledge to see a
new opened door, a skeleton attacks so shoot him off the edge and go into the
new door. Go to the end of the passage and turn, look up and use the ladder to
climb up, here you will find the last secret of this level, Secret Three, the
revolver and some ammo.
Return to the outside ledges and kill the waiting skeleton, then go down
one level and make you way back over to where the boulder fell. Stay on the
ledge before the boulder ledge and look to your left, you can see a ledge with
a receptacle for a gem, jump to that ledge and as you do some spikes are
activated on a block near by. Judge the spikes and run jump then jump again
onto the next block to safety, now do a curved run and jump into that new open
door in the wall. Go through to enter level three Inner Chamber, you won’t be
here long though.
Slide down the pole and now you can see a gem in front of you but you can’t
reach it yet so take the ladder down to ground level and go over to the far
left of the room, light a flare to help you see a movable block in the wall,
enter the new passage and slide down onto a small ledge, jump across the deep
pit and go up to collect the Golden Star. Now return back up the slopes and
back up the ladder to return to catacomb Ruins level via the pole.
When you are back out of this passage head over again to the ceiling
ladder near to where the boulder fell and head back into the cubby hole, climb
back up and at the top use the Golden Star to open the big doors there. Go
through and to the right to collect the Second Trident, then go over to the
left side to collect a large med pack and some flares. From this ledge do a
running jump down to the ledge you entered this room on, use action and Lara
will land without losing much health.
Now go back through to where you lit the wall sconces and head through
to the raised block room, make your way back up to the long bridge area, two
skeletons attack so see them off and go down to ground level as before and
enter the door there, you will now go to the Inner chamber level.
Level 3: Inner Chamber
Go through the tunnel and enter a high area, make your way around the
central structure to find a doorway, have your shotgun ready as a skeleton
attacks in one of the next rooms, lure him out to the ledges and shot him off. Now
go back inside and place the Two Tridents on the two statues in that area. You
will now see a dark area and a wall switch is revealed.
Go back out to the tall structure and use the ladder on it to climb to
the top. Kill the waiting skeleton and go over to the edge of the ledge, look
over to see a dark gap between two pillars on a roof, do a running jump over to
that roof and use action to land Lara safely, now light a flare if you want and
see that switch to use, you will hear a rush of water below you.
Now get down onto the bridge again and go round to the other side, you
can look over to the doorway and se a ladder to climb down to ground level. When
you are down there jump into the water and swim down and through the long
watery tunnel.
Surface into a small cave area and make your way up the rocks until you
find a hole in the floor, beware now because you have to be quick in these next
two rooms.
Go down the hole and slide into a new room, find the torch and enter the
next room to light it, now scarabs are released so quickly go to where you
picked the torch up and light the wall sconce there, do not drop the torch, you
must take it with you!!!! A floor hatch lowers in the other room so run over
and drop down that new hole with the torch, you need it in the next area and
you can’t get back for it once you go down the hole!!!!
Slide into the next area with scarabs still hot on your heels, as if
that wasn’t enough to cope with a skeleton awaits you, lure him over to your
side and shoot him into the ditch. Now the scarabs will leave. You can leave
the torch here so you know where to find it later.
In this mud slide area look at the left wall and notice a high closed
door, remember this door. Now jump the ditch and go left up the stairs and
enter a large room.
At the top of the stairs watch the flyby and see the gem and knot you
have to collect here. Now head to your right then left, look on the left wall
for a ladder to climb and go up, you will arrive between two pillars, turn and
jump over to the ledge in front of you. Go round the ledge and find the hole in
the floor, climb down the hole and proceed to a room with a closed brown door
and a pool, enter the pool and swim down to the very bottom, here you will find
a ceiling lever to use, now swim back up and go back to the top of the hole. Go
back over to where you came up the first ladder between the two pillars; drop
down and with the ladder facing you go left of the wall, then left again to get
back to the starting area with the long mud slide. Go down into the pit and
find the newly opened floor hatch, head on down the hole and through the
tunnel, turn right at the end and go through the water to the next room, shoot
the pot on your left and collect some ammo, now go through to the next room.
On the left you will see two movable statues with wall levers behind
them, when you move the statues the tile they are on ignites. Move the statue
on the left first, you can only pull it out once, the fire will ignite, leave
this one now and go to the statue on the right, pull the statue away from the
lever and move it to the tile with a face on near the back of the room behind
you, when you do this the fire at the lever will go out. Go use the lever and
shoot the skeleton that turns up into the pit.
Now take that same statue all the way round the front of the room to the
other side, place it on the faced tile near the entrance door. Now go use the
second lever. Kill the skeleton and see two floor tiles have risen next to the
central structure. Move the statues on to those tiles and see the brown door in
the pool room open.
Go back out and make your way back to the top of the room, head on up
the stairs and into the main room again.
From the top of the stairs go right then left to find that ladder again,
go up and back over to the pool room hole. Enter the new brown door in the pool
room. Jump over to the central structure and climb to the top, jump to the
ledge and take the Third Trident. Now move quickly because two wraiths are
heading your way, jump back to the central structure and drop down one level on
the left, now do a running jump down into a big hallway, sprint to the end of
the path and climb the ladder up to find the idol to kill the wraiths. Now drop
down to ground level and head back up the stairs.
From the top of the stairs go left then right then left again, go past the mud
slide and all the way round to the other side, you will see on the left wall a
long ladder to climb. Head on up there and kill the waiting skeleton, then go
over to the left and jump to the next ledge, to your left in a cubby hole find
the statue to place the trident on and see the new grated door open, this is
the door back at the start where you left your torch so make your way back down
the ladder to ground level and get back to the start area, to get there from
the bottom of that ladder, go left and run forwards go round to the right past
the mud slide then go right then left, a little way along you will find the
stairs to take you back to the start area.
Use the long ladder over the pit to climb up to the new door, go through
the tunnel and a skeleton attacks, pick him off and go right, look over and see
a ledge with two greens pots on and a doorway in the middle. Jump over to here
but don’t enter the doorway yet. Go to the right side of the ledge and facing
North do a run jump over to the ledge, now look up and jump grab to an upper
ledge. Find the rope and swing over to the left of the next ledge to the South.
Now head over to the South West side of the room to find a movable statue. Take
it all the way over to a faced tile at the East side of the room, its just left
of the ledge with the Pharos Knot on; beware as skeletons creep up on you here.
When the statue is in place you will hear a door open, this is just down to the
left on you at ground level. Before going there go get the Pharos knot. From
the statue head over to the South wall, see a brown arched alcove to jump to and
when over there go left, make your way around the ledge and up some small
steps, collect the Pharos Knot and return to the brown alcove, now go through
the right side, go round and jump the ledge and make your way to the end, shoot
the pot and take the small med pack.
Now you have to go collect your torch and head for that new opened door
at ground level so from here drop down one level, go along a little way and
drop down to the next ledge below you, now turn and hang drop down to the
floor, turn to face the mud slide and go left, then right to find the start
area, go down and collect your torch then go back to the top of the stairs. From
here go right, left, right, left at the mud slide, go forwards and then turn
left, see a red arched doorway and enter there, head through and at the second
red arched doorway turn right, go up the step to find that new door. Enter here
and light the wall sconce. Keep hold of your torch and hop back, the floor will
now rise taking you up with your torch, jump up to the small ledge and the
grated door will open, now jump to the doorway and take a running jump round to
the right to land on a new ledge. Now run jump over to the next ledge to the
West.
Go through and to the left, jump to next ledge, turn around and walk to
the edge, look down and jump down using action to land on that lower ledge. Go
forwards then left, jump to the next ledge with the broken pillars on and stand
on the left side to face the ledge with the green pots on, jump over and enter
the door there. Now head through and you will come to a creepy crypt area, go
on until you find a wall sconce to light. A floor hatch lowers next to you but
also a wraith shows up so throw the torch and run all the way back to the
outside area, at the outside ledge make you way over to the ledge below the
rope, now jump up and grab the upper ledge as before, now on the rope ledge do
a run jump up onto the top of the mud slide, the wraith will now fly into the
idol on the upper ledge.
Now return to the crypts and go down that new floor hatch, climb the
ladder in the new room and take the Canopic Jar from the top, you will now see
a new door open. Jump over to the ledges at the top and shoot the pots to find
some ammo and a small med pack. Jump back to the ladder and go to ground level,
now head out of the crypts and back to the outside area. Face the mud slide and
jump back over to below the rope ledge, now go right and jump to next ledge,
head straight on and jump over to the next ledge, here is the new opened door
so go through and climb the ladder, wait for a skeleton to show up and kill it,
now jump over to next area heading South, run on until you come to a large
central ledge then jump off of the right of it to next ledge. Kill another
skeleton and go left. Keep making your way left and jump to the next ledge you
come to, you should be heading East. As you come to the next ledge another
skeleton attacks, kill it and jump over to the next ledge and find a new large
doorway, go through and shoot the pot to reveal a small med pack. Now continue
up until you arrive at the Blue Gem area, jump over and collect the Blue Gem. Return
over to the fist ledge and go to the edge, look down and see a pool, you need
to jump into the deep area in the middle, so take one baby step back and then
hop back once, do a normal running jump with action so Lara glides safely into
the pool. Climb out and head up the ladder, use the pole to get back to the
Catacomb Ruins level.
Catacomb Ruins Revisited
At the entrance door to the familiar room, jump over to the right to
land on the lower level, Head over to the South of the room and back up to
where the boulder fell earlier, stay on the ledge before the boulder and look
left to see that Gem receptacle over on the far ledge, jump over to there and
place the Gem, hear the pool below fill with water and go down to the ground
level, enter the pool and swim through and climb out, in the new room use the
floor lever and a block will move above you.
Now go back out and make your way back up to the ledge before the
boulder. Go to the left side and look down to see a cubby hole in the wall,
jump down to the floor just above that cubby hole, now line up on the right
side of the ledge and do a standing jump forwards using action to let Lara
glide into the cubby hole. Now turn and see a gap in the wall ahead of you and
to your right, jump to it and grab, shimmy round and climb into the arched
passageway, head over the next two ledges and enter another new area, head
through the passage and enter a new room, the TR 1 music will play and the door
will close behind you.
Ok, so now go to the right side of the ledge and use the ladder to get
to the next level down, now go right and then left, run forwards and follow the
path right so you are now heading West, Stop half way along the path and look
left of you, down in the ground floor is a burning wall sconce, go to the right
of that ledge and hang drop down, now go up into the alcove to your left and
shoot the pot, collect the ammo and go down, go to the right and then go next
left, run through and go down the small flight of steps, then head through this
area over to the far left corner, keep going until you come to a deep pit in
the ground, beware of lurking skeletons creeping up behind you!
Stand at the edge of the pit facing North and light a flare, now hang drop down
and let go, grab again to catch a shimmy crack and shimmy round to the other
side of the pit. You will come to where you can see a crawl space below you so
let go and grab again to catch that doorway edge.
Climb in and make your way into the next room, go right and find the
floor lever to use and watch as a floor tile rises in the uppermost room.
Now leave this room using the wall ladder there and at the end drop down
to ground level.
Look directly above you and see a ceiling ladder, here is where you have
to get to next. Run forwards to the East and go right, go right again then
immediately left, see some small steps and go up them, at the last one see a
doorway to your right and enter that room, there is a pole here to use later
on, for now go to the open ledge and hang drop down, shimmy right and climb up
the ledge, face out towards a block with the ceiling ladder above it, jump
across and swing you way to the second floor lever, when you use it you will
see the second floor tile rise in the uppermost room.
Turn around and hang drop down from the ledge, turn and head straight on
Southwards and go a little way on to see that room with the pole in, go up the
pole to the next level then jump over to the next ledge in front of you, make
your way left and continue on this route round to the left and just jump to the
next ledges as they appear. Eventually you will come to a wall on your right
with two burning sconces on, between them is a long wall ladder to climb to a
higher area. At the top of the ladder jump to the next ledge and kill the
waiting skeleton, now continue forwards and jump to the next ledge. To your
left you will find another pole to take you to the upper areas. At the top back
flip off and face West. Jump to next ledge and climb the blocked steps to the
very top. Kill the skeleton that shows up and look on the West wall area for a
place to put The Pharos Knot and The Pharos Pillar, placing them will open the
big brown doors between them.
For now though, you need to get the Pharos Pillar so find two movable
statues at either side of the room and move them onto the faced tiles at each
end of the path, then see a view of a new door opening.
Now go all the way back over the ledges and down the pole the way you
came, make your way to the long ladder and climb down, just follow the ledges
and you can’t really go wrong.
At the bottom of the ladder face North and go to the end of the path,
now go right and at the end of this path drop down to lower level, head on
forwards until you are at the East wall, now go left and to the end of that
path until you are at the North wall, then now go left again and into a dark
pathway. Go to end of path and look down, see a passageway to jump into, take a
baby step back and then hop back once, now do a running jump with action to let
Lara glide into that passageway. Turn around and see a grab space in the wall
ahead of you and jump to it, shimmy round to the right and keep going until you
can climb up into the newly opened door. Collect the Pharos Pillar and then
head back up to the top of the room again by dropping down from this room and
heading left, continue on Southwards and at the end of the path go left then
right, head through this area and go left of the central pillar, now go on and
slightly right to see the small steps leading up to the pole room.
Use the pole to get back up top then continue as before to the left and go
round to use all those ledges again to take you back to the very top of the
room. Place the Pharos Knot and the Pharos Pillar and enter the new doors that

Climb up into the passage on the right and you will return to The Palace Gates
level.
Palace Gates Revisited
Collect the Guardian Key in front of you and jump to the palace area. Go
right and kill the waiting Ninja then go up to the doorway where he was. Go
through and left to jump the blades again and head through to use the drop
shimmy crack, crawl through and go up the two ladders and out to the top of the
room, go to the left side of the ledge and go down one level, make your way
forwards then right, find the block with the striped top and go left, enter a
familiar area again and kill the Ninja up on the ledge. Now use the light
coloured block to get up to the ledge above, from here go left and at the end
of the path go left again, then right, right again, left and left again, go
down the stairs and at the bottom go left, go up the stairs and past the two
sets of blades, then go left then right and you will come to the ledge you
killed the Ninja on. Jump over and use the Guardian Key on the wall there. See
a view of an underwater door. Collect the ammo and drop down the left side of
the ledge. Head back up the light block and go right this time. Jump to the
passageway and head down to the bottom. Find the pool and by a pillar enter the
water passage. Swim through and meet the waiting crocodile, in this area is the
underwater door, open it using action and swim through.
Now go all the way through and climb out into a room to collect the
Second Canopic Jar.
Go back to the crocodile area of the pool and swim down to the bottom,
find the passageway out and go back to the blue door area with the light
coloured block.
Enter the blue door and head back to the palace rooms by going to the
main entrance of big room and jumping down to the blue door, go back through
the blades and right.
Enter the palace rooms and head forwards, at the outside area go left and go
through to the second small pool area. Head up to the left corner and enter the
new palace room. Go left and find the wall ladder to get to the ground floor,
now go place the Two Canopic Jars at the back of the statues.
Now kill the Harpie that shows up and enter the pool there. Swim through and
climb out to collect the Golden Vraeus.
Now you need to return to the first monkey swing area, across the blade
passage where you collected the first star from, to place the Golden Vraeus. On
your way back an earth quake begins, also beware of falling boulders and Ninja
attacks.
At the blade passage another Ninja awaits you so kill him and jump over,
beware here!! As you approach the doorway be quick, roll and drop grab to avoid
a falling boulder, now drop to the shimmy crack and proceed up to the top of
the ladders as before.
Now make your way to ground level and find the place to use the Golden
Vraeus
