[Note] You can start with a save game that the author provides. He provides unlimited Uzi clips, revolver ammo, flares, small medipacks, large medipacks, and the sniper scope. However, you can start with a save game from part 2 and get the sniper scope in this level. [End note]

You start in a dark cave with tunnels. The tunnels in this maze loop back and join, making it difficult to give directions. Go North for a small medipack (1) and shotgun shells (2). Continue and at a junction turn right. Follow the tunnel until you fall through the floor into a lower tunnel. Drop down some more and go left to the South until you find a corner with Uzi clips (3). Go to the West wall in front of you and look up for a crawl space. Climb in for Uzi clips (4), a small medipack (5) and secret #1. If you search the maze some more, you will find shotgun shells (6). Get back to the upper tunnels. At the junction, if you take the right branch you will get shotgun shells (7). Afterwards, get back to the starting point and pick up flares (8) from the North-West floor. Go through the archway in the West wall, immediately turn left and go to the end. Light a flare and pull up to the right. Jump the gap to the other side for a large medipack (9), flares (10) and secret #2. Go back to the starting point and enter the tunnel to the South. Just follow it around and pick up flares (11). Follow to a junction and go right. Continue to a long straight tunnel with a right turn. Just after the turn look up to the left and see a crawl space. Climb up there to see a place for your two Golden Stars that you have collected. Remember this place and return to the tunnels and continue. At the first left, go there for shotgun shells (12) and return. Go to the alcove to the right for shotgun shells (13). Now go back to the star receptacles.

Use the stars and two blocks drop beside you. Enter the first door and pick up shotgun shells (14). Go to the gate and it opens. You get a flyby of an area with crazy architecture. It looks like a famous painting, the name of which I do not remember. The door to your left needs a gem to open the door. The only thing you can do is to climb the blocks to the upper doors. The animation is strange as Lara walks through the doors and then they open. Go to the right for flares (15) and shotgun shells (16). Go straight but the doors do not open. Go to the left doorway and start sliding. At the end, jump over the lava to grab a slope. Pull up and slide. Near the end jump to the right into an opening before a ball crushes you. Keep sliding and jumping to the right to avoid two more rolling balls. Finally jump into a water pit. Swim through a hole in the North wall and continue swimming upwards until you pull up into a pool in an open temple-like area. Pick up small medipack (17), flares (18), and shotgun shells (19) from around the pool steps.

Go South and the doors open. Go East to pull the chain and get a flyby of an area of bookcases somewhere else. Run back to the pool as a fire wraith (1) chases you. Go West and down a hole in the ground. There are six serpent switches. Use the serpent switch in the corner opposite and entrance and all serpent switches ignite and the doors in the corner open. Run for the ladder and start to climb as a fire wraith (2) chases you. Run to the pool to extinguish it. I use two large medipacks because I caught fire. Go back and pick up grenade shells (20) and Uzi clips (21) from the room behind the door. It was not really worth getting. Go to where the pull chain is and look right and see a ball in the upper right corner. Go the East pool ledge near the middle. Use the pistols and jump up and down and soot the ball until it moves. Then go out the double doors, light a flare and go to the right corner. Enter the open door there for secret #3. Pick up a large medipack (22), shotgun shells (23) and Uzi clips (24) and leave. This looks that the crazy room but rotated. Get down to the ground floor and go to the blue doors in the North wall.

Open the doors and enter. Climb down to a corridor and face three swinging chains. Carefully go to the right of the first chain. There is an alcove to the right for revolver ammo (25) and a crawl space to the left. Light a flare and go into the crawl space for a sniper scope (26). If you could not shoot the ball for the previous secret, go back and use the scope to do it. Get out and go to the right. To the right of the last chain are Uzi clips (27). Go to an area left of the third chain and look in the corner for a ladder. Climb to the top and back flip to a landing. Turn around and run up some stairs to reach a pole. Above are circular cutters you must go through. Climb through the first cutter and back flip to a room for a small medipack (28). Go through the second cutter and back flip to a room for a large medipack (29) and shotgun shells (30). Face South and climb through the third cutter and back flip to a room and pick up a small medipack (31). Open the door in the corner and go down the corridor. Notice you pass the slide where you went down before. Go straight out and down the stairs to the large blue doors to the South that opens for you.

You enter a garden-like area with a fountain in front and a large building on the right. Go to the end at the right of the building for a small medipack (32). Go to the end at the left of the building for Uzi clips (33). Walk up to the building and the big blue doors open. Do not go in but run back to the fountain as a fire wraith (3) chases you. Now go back to the building, light a flare, and run to the right corner to pass through a timed door that closes behind you. At a junction run right, go up some stairs, and through a door that opens for you. Just inside the door, look up to the right for a jump switch. Use it to open a door further in the room. Enter and pick up a large medipack (34), shotgun shells (35), Uzi clips (36) and secret #4. Continue through the doors you opened and climb a ladder. Use a flare and pick up Uzi clips (37), shotgun shells (38), a small medipack (39) and secret #5. Return down the stairs and the gate is still closed so go straight. At the end the large blue door opens for you. You may notice that the doors to the outside are also open. You are in a room with six serpent switches, and some water. Pick up shotgun shells (40) from the block in the middle of the water. Use the serpent switch in the North-West corner and they all ignite and the door opens.

Enter the room you saw when you pulled the chain in a wall alcove a long time ago. There is a bookcase structure in the center. At the back is a large open door. Go the South-East corner for a large medipack (41). Go to the North-West corner for shotgun shells (42) and see a jump switch. Use it and get back to the central structure. A bookcase has opened. Go inside for flares (43), shotgun shells (44) and secret #6. Exit this bookcase area and enter the door at the back. Go left for a small medipack (45) on a window ledge. Then go to the end to jump into some water to extinguish a fire wraith (4). Go to the North end and the large doors open for you. This looks the crazy room but rotated. Inside, look East on the floor for a copper tile. Go there and open up this trap door. Go down the tunnel and enter a crawl space. At the other side enter a room and get a cut scene of a Horseman (5) mounting his horse. At last a chance to use all the Uzi clips you have collected. When he is dead pick up the Horseman's Gem (46). Go to North-West corner and turn right to see a jump switch on a wall. Use it to open a door in the South-West corner.

Exit through this door and shoot the vase for a large medipack (47), flares (48), and Uzi clips (49). Run up the stairs and shoot a vase for a small medipack (50), shotgun shells (51), and Uzi clips (52). Climb a ledge to the South for a large medipack (53) and Uzi's (54). Go back to the room with the Horseman and return to the crawl space in the North-East corner. Follow the tunnel back and exit the trap door. Go up the blocks, back to the bookcase room and then into the serpent switches room. Go out the double doors, through the building to the outside and go left through the large doors. Get down to the ground floor and use the gem to open the doors. Go though the doors and shoot the vase for a large medipack (55), shotgun shells (56) and Uzi clips (57). Run up the stairs and shoot a vase for a small medipack (58), shotgun shells (59) and Uzi clips (60). Climb through the picture on the South wall and exit into the jungle. Run forward and the level ends.
