Be My Valentine

Level One - So Close
Start the level after the flyby shows you the city streets and
buildings you are going to explore and finish with a focus on Lara standing in
a room. The room are full of boxes and closed nearby
door, there's a trick to open this door and throwing the switch nearby is not
enough. In front of where Lara is standing pull the box back, then climb on the
left box, jump forward to opposite boxes and drop down to get 4xHerbals. Climb
back between the boxes and light a flare, you'll see better the tile two steps
from the box, pull the box two onto this tile and now the door will open.
When you get outside the main road you'll be under attacking of dog and
homeless holding club. After you get rid of them go to the right side of the
room you exit and look for jumpswitch at the edge. Climb
up the roof then push the brown doors, you see closed timed gate with car key
inside that you get later. Drop/grab the jumpswitch,
it opens trapdoor nearby the station at the west, head over there and climb
down the ladder and get the flare.
You are in underground passageway, head forward,
turn left up the short slope and dog surprises you from the right. Head right
one step and get the flares from the left alcove. Turn right then left, keep
going forward past the first opening left which led you down and turn the next
left up the slope, press on the switch, it lowers block in the wall.
Back to the left slope you passed a few second ago, get down and from
left there's campfire with gate around. From the right you'll see closed gate.
Head left and enter into the opening in a wall then press on switch, the gate
is open. Head over there, turn left, slide down the short slope and get the Garage
Key. Do your back the ladder and climb up right, before you reach the exit backflip and land out, turn face back and look for brown
door you will open soon.
Head toward the alley between the red and the beginning buildings at
the east, follow the angle camera that shows you celtic cross lies onto the ledge you reach later. Meanwhile
you get the small yard, front of you there is breakable wall and from the right
side the Garage with the key hole and closed gate. Use
the Garage Key to enter, inside there you see cool white Jeep parked, shoot the
tin nearby and get the uzis with clips and health
drink.
Get outside to the yard, head toward the opposite climbable wall, climb
up the roof. Go push the lever floor, it opens the
brown door near the breakable wall at the west road. Now go and stand close to
the edge, look down over the ledge, take an angled jump down you land onto the
ledge, pick up the Celtic Cross.
Back to the main road and head toward the west road, enter the building
through the brown door you just opened, then kill the
bats. The place looks more like a garage as two black vans parked there. Climb
the ledge from the west, run jump and grab the next one, proceed into the
alcove and climb up. The angle camera not help much but try to pick the
4xherbals from the window, then moving the right side will fix the camera. Take
running jump to opposite ladder above the van which leads you up into the
alcove; get the health drink, then jump grab the ceiling and monkeyswing toward the faraway alcove. Climb up and light
flare to see the way over the switch, save before you throw it as it opens the
timed gate you saw earlier. Just drop down and run fast as you can over there,
get the Car Key, watch your back from the homeless attacking.
Back to the garage and drive the Jeep outside over the breakable wall,
with falling through the breakable ground proceed down the road, turn left
toward the ramp, cross the gap with the water, drive up the slope, there's
closed gate at the top. Turn and drive down back, stop nearby the pillars and
get off the Jeep. First get 4xherbals from the pool, then
pull the jumpswitch from one of those pillars. Trapdoor
opens nearby the pool, climb down the bottom and press on the switch, another
trapdoor opens at the ceiling in the north wall. Go over there and climb the
ladder into the alcove, throw the switch which raises
up a timed block in the pit you come from as the screenshot shows. Do it fast
and press the second switch that will open the gate at the top of the slope
road.
Drive the Jeep along the narrow road, in some places it won't be easy
to drive, especially in the corners, but keep driving till you reach the wooden
barrier pass the hole and get to the new garage. Get off the Jeep and kill the
homeless, back the hole you passed with the Jeep, then climb down the bottom
you find
Press the switch in the alcove where you opened the brown door and the
gate out from the garage is open now. Drive the Jeep down the road, then turn
east over the breakable wall and load the next level.
Level Two - Driving up the Hill
Stay in the car!
Well, do as the author says and do not leave
the Jeep. Just follow the road when you escorted by angle camera. Start drive
up along the road, try to stay in the middle, when you
get the top you start driving down faster. You might get losing control so
press on the brakes, keep driving down and later up the hill. When you reach
the top take the sharp curve over the last hill and load the next level before
you get to the top of the hill.
Level Three - From the Outside
The House is Near...
Keep driving further and stop the Jeep in front of the open gate, get
off the Jeep and climb up to the small garden ahead. Kill the two little
creatures, get the two 4xherbals, one is from the right between the two trees
and the second is left at the end of the gate. Now head toward the cave and
climb up the ladder, head forward, get out of the cave, the house is right in
front. The house is locked and you need the key to open it.
Shoot the tin that leaves you some bag but ignore it as you cannot pick
it up. Keep the right side, look in the shallow water, there's trapdoor, go
further over the corner, look for ladder to roof. Climb on the low hill, face
the ladder, jump grab it and climb up the roof, head west side, there is switch
at the edge. Stand with Lara's back to the switch then grab and pull it you
drop face to the receptacles, place the celtic cross
there, it opens the underground door right below the closed trapdoor nearby.
The trapdoor in the shallow water is open, swim down into the half
level water torture basement. Get the health drink, then swim beyond the laundry,
get the flares, turn back, pass near the switch (you throw it later)and pull the underwater lever right side of the exit. Swim
out of the basement, head back to the celtic
cross receptacles, drop down into the pit, kill the little creature there and
throw the switch.
Once again back the basement, now it's full of water, swim down and
pull the second underwater lever. Again swim out the basement and go around the
house, shoot the tin, you have to deal with little creature. Climb down the
ladder, avoid from the zombie, get the health drink from left, then head
forward, slide the short slope and throw the switch.
Climb out from there, head over the little
creature punishment behind the cage, then proceed back to the dry basement. Now
you can throw the last switch there which opens the trapdoor near where you
climb to the roof. Head over there, jump in the water and get the House Key,
go back to the door and use the key there. Get into the house and load the next
level.
Level Four - Inside
I'm afraid...
In front of you are two double doors, and from left chest drawers. Get
from the middle drawer health drink then push the double door nearby, there's
trapdoor right above Lara's head. Push the next doors and get in the room
ahead, you hear some applause!! Get the health drink from where the books are
on the floor. Press on the switch which opens the trapdoor, you also can shoot
the picture, then look for key hole and closed door. Get out of the room, climb
into the alcove and get the Trapdoor Key, back to the beginning room,
you had to deal with three little creature come to attack you.
Push the second double door and the next door right behind it, kill the
little creature. Head into the room, there's campfire on a block and right
behind it key hole, use the trapdoor key there which opens trapdoor at the
kitchen. Pick up the Letter to Penny under the clock feet, then head to
the kitchen. Look for key hole when you get inside, climb into the alcove right
behind the fridge and get the Cellar Key. Use the key in the hole at the
entry, it will open the door nearby.
Get down stairs, you'll hear short telephone ring!! Get the 2nd
Floor key nearby the campfire, then shoot the gate from left and get into
small torture room pick up the Penny's Doll. Block lowers in the wall
near the bookcase, jump over the burning chair, head into the alcove and press
on the switch. The cellar door was closed you just opened again, but now you
have to deal with evil clown. Just run up the stairs back to the house, the door
will close behind you and get locked the clown? Maybe.
Pass the kitchen and in the next room you'll see a chair turning like spinning
top, definitely mad house and it's not all...
Get back the beginning to the room you're been earlier and before you
are use the 2nd Floor key, you should know that empty wheelchair is waiting for
you. Go up stairs the second floor, you hear hard laughing. When you reach the
passage you see ladder which leads you to the attic, but first you need to open
the trapdoor. There are also two doors and key holes, first pick up the flare
nearby the ladder, then head toward the second door and push it in. Another
closed door in front of you, back to the first door and push it in too, enter
the room. Kill the little creatures and pick up the Key to Penny's Room,
don't leave this room yet. Go to the right side wall where you can see the hole
and crawl inside to reach the Secret Place, get 4xherbals, health drink
and flares.
Get of the room and use the Penny's key at the key hole between the
doors which lead into the Penny's room. First you can take health drink from
the chest drawers, then proceed toward the door and push it in, pass the next
room. Press the switch at the left wall to open ceiling trapdoor in the first
room, get the uzi clips from the feet of the clock
and back to the first room. Jump grab the edge of the
high nook and pull Lara into it, get the Attic Key.
Now you can't get out of Penny's room, the doors are closed, head
toward the table and get the Penny's Brush. Door are open in the wall at
second room and also the clown was back too, quickly head to the next room and
press the switch in the alcove which lets you to get out from Penny's room.
Use the attic key, then climb up the ladder into the
attic above, at least you get rid of the
wheelchair but not from the clown. Head left side and crawl into the
crawlspace, get the health drink, then run forward over the door, turn right
and shoot the grate. Crawl inside and get the Roof Key, keep crawling
forward and get out from the other side, back to the door and use the key
there. When the door will open, you see short flyby, then you can pass the
doorway and slide down the colorful place and load the next level.
Level Five - Be My Valentine
You are falling deeper into a pool with ugly mermaid, swim up and get
out of the pool. Indeed unusual place with many different color ledges and
blocks. Head toward the NW corner, face to the green block, run jump across the
gap land onto it. Climb up. stand in front of the fangs
trap-door, when the right moment comes run pass between them, jump over the
orange ledge.
Kill the eagle, then turn to left side corner, take standing jump
toward the white ledge and forward to the red block. Turn face left and jump
over the white ledge, now take running and jump land onto the red ledge pass
the two statues with the sword.
In front of you a colorful ball is rolling up and down in routine path,
at the right moment, jump forward pass it and jump again toward the orange
block. Turn face to the right, run jump over the faraway blue ledge, then short
jump toward the pink block. Now take running jump toward the faraway orange
ledge and another one over the faraway green ledge and grab the edge. Pull up,
head to the opposite corner, take standing jump toward the red block, another
short jump toward the green block and grab the reversed edge of the slope.
Slide and jump to opposite light blue, slide and jump over the blue
slope and forward grab the wall with the light blue and white colors. Shimmy
left till you reach the blue block, then pull up, roll and slide, jump over the
opposite slope then jump forward and grab the blue block, save before you
slide.
Start sliding down the blue slope block toward the pink slope, then
over the red, keep sliding toward the orange then over the red and next to the
pink and over the last you'll have to grab the edge of the blue ledge and then
pull Lara onto it.
Turn face to the left faraway green ledge, run jump land onto it. Keep
with short jump over the orange ledge and one more jump to the close green. Reach
the faraway white ledge, then face to the right and run jump toward the faraway
green block and more short jump over the white nearby
ledge.
Don't think to do the shortcut by jumping forward to green ledge, it's explosion traps, what you realy
need to do is jump to the right blue slope and shimmy left. When you reach the
end it will cause an explosion and lead you to do backflip
onto the light blue ledge, then short jump to next one. Turn face over the
faraway colorful ledge, take running and jump grab the blue tile. Kill the
beast and then the monkey, get the Skull he
will drop and later the health drink.
Head over the edge, face toward the faraway orange ledge, notice for
trapdoor to raise up. Use this trapdoor when you
running forward and land onto the orange ledge and deal with the beast, proceed
and jump left, run along the blue/red blocks, kill the eagle when you get to
the edge.
Jump over the white ledge then to far green and right side toward the
faraway light blue, keeping forward the white then left toward orange/blue
colors block, kill the beast. Head over the red ledge and after to the orange,
take running jump toward the light blue half block.
Face to the faraway white climbable block, run jump and grab it, climb
up. Run forward, land onto the green block, run jump over the red and the blue
next and final jump toward the temple. Place the missing skull at the pillar,
it will open the glass door, get the health drink from the block, then go out
through the open door.
Drop down from the right side, pass to left, climb down the three
stairs and drop down to land onto the ledge below. Turn face to back and jump
toward the next ledge, throw the switch. Jump back pass the three ledges around
the highest pillar, stand with Lara's face to the ladder which leads you up and
then backflip onto a ledge with iron door. Take the
jump toward the ledge with the switch, throw it and jump back pass the open
door.
Follow the colors tile path but you have to jump above any red tile
traps and there's a lot of them. When you reach the
end, throw the switches from both side the doors, follow the the path and deal with two monekys.
Throw the next switch and pass the next door you have to deal with monkey, beast
and wasp at the same time, then throw the last switch which lead you to place,
front of slope with many colorful rolling balls.
It's not a big deal and you can pass easily each of those balls and get
to the top of the slope, the door will open when you be
nearby. Slide down and get the flyby, deal with the big bird, climb the next
room, light flare to see the switch, throw it and trapdoor opens outside. Drop
down through the hole directly into the pool, you can read the red Penny at the
bottom with red arrow tell you where to proceed.
Swim through the tunnel, follow the next red arrow up along the
colorful tunnel and get out of the water, do not jump into the pit nearby,
climb down the ladder and just before you feel the water backflip
into the alcove, reach the Secret Place. Pick up health drink, then drop
in the water and start swimming along the tunnel, angled camera will show you
that you have company, ugly mermaid. Keep swimming through the colorful tunnel,
follow the red arrow till you reach the end, get out of the water, pick up some uzi clips and
4xherbals. Head to the pit, drop down, land onto the ledge below, once again
drop down the bottom, enter the room, you have to deal with another big bird. Climb
up the ladder and go through the passage over the opening.
Take jump forward to the orange block, then jump up grab the blue edge
and pull onto it. Face to the left, jump over the white ledge, leave the switch
a while, head forward the edge. Drop, grab it, drop again and grab the red
block below, it's a Secret Place, get the health drink. Jump grab the edge white edge again and pull up, now throw
the switch which is lead timed platform. Run fast around the ledge over the
platform and jump forward, land into the opening of the castle wall.
Head forward the big room, there're few different color blocks around
the one in the middle. Throw the switch left side of the entry, kill the
eagles, head to white block, get Penny Doll. Two big birds show up, head
toward the blue block and pick up Penny Brush, get the screenshot
showing you the clown is back and he's standing on the middle block. Head to
the pink block, pick up Mike's Present, get the screenshot showing you
the whole ground has vanished.
From the block you're standing on take jump left toward the pink block
and over the green next, pick up the Rose from Mike's which opens
trapdoor to tunnel water at the buttom. Jump back
toward the white block, stand face the clown and take crazy jump forward, you
should fall down directly into the tunnel below. Swim along the tunnel, reach
the end and load the last level.
Level Six - Nightmare
Swim up and get out of the pool, run toward the pink block, grab it and
pull onto it, keep to next green block, turn face left and jump between the
slopes. Run faster through the statue with their sword, don't stop and jump
forward toward the red block ahead, kill the three wasps and short jump over
the orange block and the next white ledge. You are standing in front of place
with three rolling colorful balls, jump forward and run faster pass the balls
don't stop running when get the edge.
Just jump over the blue block with one ball and quickly jump forward
past the next ball, run jump toward the large ledge ahead. Kill the big bird,
head to the edge and run jump over the blue ledge. Climb up on the white block,
take running and jump toward blue, climb on the green block. Run jump toward
the red block, climb on the orange, take the last running faraway jump to the
pink block and from there over the white ledge.
Climb up the stairs, take jump to the left slope, run down, rolling
ball is after you. Jump forward, grab the brown wooden ledge ahead, pull onto
it and guess who's waiting for you. yes the clown. Run
toward the hot-air balloon, get the flyby. Lara climbs into the hot-air balloon
and flies up faraway from this place.
Addendum by José: In level 4 (Inside), Yoav forgot to say that it's
necessary to shoot the picture in the Penny's bedroom so the Penny's Brush
appears over the table in the other room. If you don't shoot the picture near
the bed, the Penny's Brush doesn't appear and you'll get totally stuck. (I spent many time looking for the
brush)
