The Crystals of Amun 1 and 2

Level 1 - Das Forschungsinstitut - Research
Slide down a slope and at the end turn right and crawl over a block. Enter a room and get a flyby of a big PSA sign. Pick up a small medipack from a pedestal. Go forward into an area with three exits. Go north and turn right to kill a thug who drops a small medipack. Go to the east wall and press a pushbutton. Then go west to find the door you opened. Enter a room with boxes. Move the boxes from the south-west corner and go down the stairs. At the bottom go east and kill a thug who drops flares. There is a closed door to the west. Go east and go down a slope to the north. Get on the ledge in the north-east and follow the tunnel to a room with a pool. Dive in and swim north though a tunnel. Pick up shotgun shells and pull the underwater lever on the north wall. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Swim back, go over the ledge, up the ramp and west to that door. Enter a room with boxes. As you walk over the boxes, you attention is directed to an opening in the upper south wall. First go to the west wall and pull back a movable box. Then move another movable box that was behind it. Enter the opening there for secret #1 and a shotgun. Now go into the south wall opening.
Follow the tunnel to a larger area. To the right are a tunnel and a lock. Go forward and down the stairs. Pull the switch on the ledge to the left of the closed door and the door opens. Go down the hallway and notice a closed door on your left. Turn right, go north and open another door on your left. Pull the switch in the south-west corner to open the other closed door. Kill a thug and pick up his small medipack. Go to the other door, enter and go left to pick up shotgun shells and a key. Go back up the stairs and use the key. The door in the right hallway opens. Go inside and climb a ladder. Go north to an opening and pick up shotgun shells and Uzi ammo. Next go south, up a hallway into a room with boxes. Kill two thugs who leave nothing. Go to the back of the room. There are stairs in the east but they lead to a closed door. Go west and remove a movable block from the hallway. Follow the crawl space to a corridor and then to a room. Pull the switch on the tape drive on the east wall. Go to the open door at the top of the stairs. Enter a room with a desk and bookcases. Pick up shotgun shells from a pedestal in the north-east corner. Then enter the east doorway, loop left and open a door into an outside area.
Shoot the cans at the north wall for Uzi ammo and a large medipack. Go north-west to an area where you can shoot cans and pick up shotgun shells. Also notice the door at the top of the steps. Return and go south-west to find a crawl space at the back wall. Crawl into a room and go the south-west corner. Enter the next room for Uzi ammo. Pull the switch on the tape drive and get a cut scene of the door at the stairs opening. Go to that door and go to end of the ledge to face a crawl space. Crawl through and drop into some water. Pull up into an opening and another crawl space. On the other side is a trench filled with water. Dive in and swim south for flares. Then swim to the north-west and pull up onto some stairs. Go through another crawl space and when you can stand, go right. Open the door and enter the room to pick up flares. Exit and go straight down the stairs into a large room. There is an empty pool with a crawl space in it. There is a filled pool and on the other side is a receptacle for a fuse. Go west over the walkway between the pools. Just after the doorway turn right into an alcove, Press the pushbutton and get a cut scene of a double door opening. Go up the stairs and over a walkway to the south-east and enter a tunnel. Follow to a room and see the open double doors.
Notice two depressions besides the south wall. Pick up the blue fuse of the second one and immediately catch fire. Run for the double door and dive into the water there and pick up a large medipack. If there was a switch to disable the fire, I never found it. Then exit and enter the north doorway. Go to the right and climb over some boxes. Go down a tunnel to pick up shotgun shells. Return to the doorway and go up the stairs and a ramp. Enter a room and drop down a hole into the pool below. Climb out of the pool on the north side and use the fuse. You hear a flushing sound and get a cut scene of the second pool being filled. Get to the other pool and swim into the crawl space. On the other side pull up and notice a crawl space to you right. First, go left and press a pushbutton on the wall beside a fire. Go back to the crawl space and get in. Stand up and at the end of the tunnel go left. Follow the ramp to a ladder and climb up. Follow the corridor to a deep room with boxes and two closed doors opposite you.
Jump to the boxes and into a hole in the south-west corner. Press the pushbutton and hear a door opening. Climb back out and enter the door. At the end, drop in a corridor. There is a closed door at the far left needing a fuse. So go right to pull a switch. Then exit as the second door above is open. Enter and see a ramp and a closed door to your left. Go to the end and press the pushbutton. Turn around and go up the ramp to the open door. You see swinging chains on both sides of the room. Go to the right side and pick up Uzi ammo. Exit and go to the left side and drop in a hole. Shoot the cans and pick up the yellow fuse. If you slide down the incline, the fire is out and you have to kill a thug. However, you can easily jump back to the chains and get to the door needing the fuse. Use the fuse and enter the door. At a T-junction go left and down some stairs. Enter a room and kill a guard. Climb the black column in the south-east and back flip to a ledge. Follow the ledges around the room to pull a jump switch. This opens a door behind you in the west.
Inside go to the left and find Uzi ammo. Then go right and up some steps. You see an aquarium with many crocodiles on the left. Go west and crawl under the pipe. Enter the crawl space to the upper left and get secret #2 and the Uzi's. Exit and enter the north doorway and follow the stairs. Press the pushbutton and the door opens. Kill a crocodile that charges out. Enter and kill two crocodiles in the aquarium. Dive in and pick up a keycard near the east wall. Exit back to the room with the jump switch. Kill a guard and exit. Continue north and find the keycard reader. Use the keycard and the door opens. Go into a room and get into the crawl space in the south wall. Follow it to stand up and enter another crawl space. Continue down to slopes and then safety drop in a large room.
Kill a guard and pick up his small medipack. I could not pick up the ammo from the pedestal in the south. Shoot the boxes to the west for pistol ammo and shotgun shells. Notice a place for the Portal Guardian in the south-west. There is a closed door to the south so go north into a corridor. Go west to kill a guard and pick up the Ornate Handle from a coffin. Go north and east to open a door. Go behind the desk to pull a switch and hear a door opening. If you go north, you get an outside view. Go back south and then east for that open door. Enter and go upstairs. Kill a guard and pick up Desert Eagle ammo. Pick up the Hathor Effigy from a pedestal to the east. Exit and go to the south-west to use the Portal Guardian and the door opens. Go inside and follow around to pick up the crystal (Kristall der Zeit) and get a cut scene of the outside door opening. Return and kill a guard and enter the open door. Follow the corridor to a large pit area. Get into the pit and safety drop in a hole hidden by the blocks. Start to slide down and the level changes.
Level 2 - Die Hohlen des Sobek - Sobek
Slide down a little and stop in front of a passageway. Go west and loop around into a room. Kill a bat and pick up shotgun shells and flares. Exit back to the start and go north. Pass a closed door and be careful of the wall drill. At the end, there is a closed door to the left, so go to the right to press a pushbutton. The door opens so enter and face another wall drill. Get pass it and enter a cave. Go to the south-west corner and press a pushbutton. Exit and go back to find the open door in the corridor. Slide down and fall into a corridor. Get through a crawl space and enter a cave with two waterfalls. You get a flyby of the area. Dive into the water and pull up somewhere fast. Kill the two crocodiles in the water. Go into an opening to the south-east for a small medipack. Then return to the exit in the north-west. Follow the cave tunnel to a large cave with a building. Kill a guard and pick up his small medipack. Go to the north-west corner and pull up onto the building roof. Go to the back for secret #3, flares and Desert Eagle ammo. Get down and enter the building. Enter the room to the left and press a pushbutton. Kill a workman who attacks and exit to enter the open door in the south-west.
Follow the tunnel to a deep pit. Run and jump to a ledge on the west wall. Follow the tunnel there to pull up into another tunnel. Follow it and slide down at the end into an area with a river. The current is too strong to go west. Kill a crocodile and swim into the hole in the south-east floor. Follow to another large cave area. Go up the hill to see a building, a closed door and a hole with water. Pull up to the building roof and crawl to the north-west. Get into a hole and press a pushbutton. Get back down and the door is open. Enter and turn right to pick up a golden key. Jump in the water, swim and be carried over a waterfall. If you jump into the hole outside with the water, you are carried over the other waterfall. Retrace your route back to the deep pit. Kill a dog on the way and at the end, kill a bat. Get to the west wall again and you can kill a workman on the ground in safety. Get to the ground and go to the north-east. Use the golden key and the door beside you opens. Go east and slide down to the north to a T-junction. Go left and get a flyby of the area showing a closed gate and a Portal Guardian receptacle.
Go west and kill two dogs and notice a closed gate in the west wall and a closed gate in the north wall. Go to the south-west corner for Uzi ammo. Get on the short column at the entrance and follow the columns to an opening in the south wall that overlooks a sloped room. Enter, turn, drop and grab to shimmy to the right. Pull up and pick up Uzi ammo. Shimmy right some more and the camera angle changes. Get down to the ground and go south and follow the tunnel to an opening. Climb down into an area with a red building and a fence. Go south behind the red building and kill a workman. Continue west and north to a blue building. Enter a press a pushbutton. Exit and kill a dog. Go back around the red building and notice an open door. Go in and pick up the Ornate Handle. Return to the sloped room and kill a bat. Climb the wall on the east side to get to the upper alcove. Shimmy left and return to the room with columns. Get down and go east into another large room. You see an opening with a fire in the east wall. To its left is a column with some water at its base. Go to the south-west corner and grab the monkey swing. Work your way over to the column and kill a bat that annoyed you on the way.
Jump to the area north-west of you and go through the gate. You are on a ledge over a deep pit. Go to the west wall and jump up to grab a crevice. Shimmy all the way to the right. Pull up for secret #4 and the Uzi's. Shimmy all the way back to the ledge. Face the slopes going north. Jump all three and at the end jump to grab a crevice. Shimmy to the left for Uzi ammo. Shimmy to the right and pull up into a crawl space. Crawl around and stand up on a ledge. Go east and enter a tunnel. Start climbing blocks and enter a tunnel. At the end pull a switch and get a cut scene of a gate opening in the pillar room. Climb the remaining block and follow the tunnel to get back to that door. Kill a dog and enter the room. Climb the blocks in the north-west to get to a large pool. Go to the east end of the pull and push the block to one side. You get a cut scene of the area being flooded. Go to the east wall and look south to see an opening in the south wall. Dive into the water and swim into it. Pull up into a room to kill a bat and pick up the Hathor Effigy. Exit and go back to the pillar room. Make the Portal Guardian, use it and the door below opens. Get down and into the door. Slide down into a tunnel and kill a bat. Go forward into a room and notice the breakable tiles in the corner. Walk on a tile and drop to the area below. There is a tunnel to the north and a down ramp to the south-west. Both routes will bring to the same final area.
Route 1: Go down the ramp and kill a workman and pick up a small medipack. Shoot the boxes for two Uzi ammo. Go to a sloped block on the south wall and jump up to grab a monkey swing. Follow it to a crawl space on the west wall. Follow it to an area with bridges, gates and a chain. Get to the chain and look south. Pull it twice and see a gate open. Go there and at the end pull the switch. This opens a timed gate to the south-west of the chain. Get there and pull a switch. This opens a timed gate to the north-west of the chain. Get there and pull the switch. You get a cut scene of a gate opening at the south wall on the ground floor. Go there and kill a dog that attacks you. Push the button and a gate opens on the north wall. Go there and slide down into an area with water. If you fall into the water you can swim east until the current pulls over some spikes and kills you. Look to the north wall for a column. Get there and pull up to the west. Kill the crocodile and jump into the water to the west. Swim and pull up the north ledge. Go inside the tunnel and get into water. Swim west and follow a tunnel into a water filled room. Open the underwater door on the south side and swim in. Pull up into a room and shoot a lot of pots. Pick up a Guardian Key from one of them. Pick up Uzi clips and then swim back. Get on the south ledge and follow the tunnel. The gate opens for you. Inside, use the Guardian Key in the receptacle in the south wall. You get a cut scene of a gate opening and an amhet. Turn around and pull up into a ledge. Kill the amhet and enter the door at the end. You get a cut scene of water somewhere. Pull the switch on the wall and exit by the trap door. Get back into the main water channel and swim east. The current is turned off now. Just before you go off the edge onto spikes, swim to the right and pull up. Kill three bats that are flying around. Go north-west towards the breakable tiles. Jump down to pick up flares. Get into the water and the current sweeps you area to another area. Pull up and push the button and get a flyby of a gate opening at the waterfall area. Go west and climb up to the place you just left.
Route 2: Go to the north tunnel and kill a dog and dive into the pool. Search the underwater floor for a small medipack. Go to a platform and drop into a hole in the middle. You fall into water. Swim and pull up into a room. Pull down a trap door in the north-west corner. Pull up into a tunnel. Go north and then to the right and fall into a room. Shoot boxes for a shotgun and shotgun shells. Get back out and go the other direction. Shoot a workman and follow the tunnel to a hole. Get in and go south and west for flares. Go back and use the more south tunnel to the end and pull up. Go north for flares. Return and go south and through a crawl space. Go to the left one and pull up. Follow a tunnel for shotgun shells and drop down again. Use the crawl spaces to find a switch. Pull it and a gate opens. The gate is in the crawl space to the north of the switch. Drop down to a dungeon like area. Follow it to a cave with a cage and switches. Pull a switch and get up onto the timed trap door. An amhet may have to be killed if he gets in your way. Pull the second switch for a timed trap door to the next level. Pull the two blocks out of the way. Get on the other side of the cage and pull up to a platform. Enter the crawl space at its end. Drop down at the end and enter a cave with a large waterfall. Kill the crocodile on the ground. Get into the water and the current sweeps you area to another area. Pull up and push the button and get a flyby of a gate opening at the waterfall area. Go west and climb up to another waterfalls section. Kill three bats that are flying around. If you go to the base of the bridge with the breakable tiles, you will find flares.
Go over the north-east bridge and at the end pull up to a crawl space. Follow the tunnel to the waterfalls in the cut scene. Kill a crocodile from above where it is safe. Get down and go through the door. Stop at the water to kill three crocodiles but you may have to dive into the water to lure them. Swim to the end of the channel and enter an area with a large deep pit. Jump to the middle ledge and climb up to the west. At the top push a block aside and enter a tunnel. Pull a switch and get a cut scene of the pit being flooded. Go back and dive in. Pull up into an east alcove and kill the crocodile. Turn around and push a movable block to the end. Go left for secret #5 and Desert Eagle ammo.
Dive in and swim into a tunnel in the west wall. Pull up to a room with a climbable wall. Near the top, back flip, roll, and grab another climbable wall. Climb a little and shimmy right into an opening. Follow the tunnel and finish in an area with a waterfalls. Go south to the waterfalls. You can walk into and behind it into a tunnel. Pick up secret #6 and a large medipack. Exit and go north into a tunnel. Follow it to the end and get a flyby of the area. Jump into the hole as the flyby suggested. Go east and slide down a slope and the level ends by crashing to the desktop. I never found a second crystal.
Level 3 - temple
The author's note states that there is a problem loading the third part called "temple.tr4". I renamed it to "tut1.tr4" and started a new game to see what it was. It just consists of a screen that states "Fortsetzing folgt..." and then the level terminates. I guess that it means "to be continued"
