Sheevah's House

Level by Sheevah (December, 2005)

Walkthrough by Harry Laudie

[Note] I installed it as per the instructions but many menu things were missing. To start, hit Enter twice. This is the select new game and level name but they are blanks on my screen. It is a nuisance but does not affect the game play. The load (blue gem) and save (purple gem) functions still work even if they are hard to read. I guess the names are displayed in some font that my computer does not support. You should look at the pictures comparing Sheevah's real house to the game house. There is also a picture of Sheevah's beautiful cats. [End note]


Start with a flyby of the house and area accompanied with really nice music. Go south and look for a pile of wood on the sidewalk to come back to later. Continue to the front door to press the pushbutton. The door bells rings and that is all. Climb over the door and look south-west to a window. Shoot it and it breaks. Run and jump into the window. Hop to the bookcases and pull back the top bookcase. Get behind it and pick up a white Key. Go east to press a pushbutton and the door opens. Enter and as you cross the rug you hear a sound as if you stepped on a cat's tail. Go down the stairs and loop to the right. Press the pushbutton and the front door opens. Go outside and turn east. Go to the end and use the key to open the gate there. Go through the gate and go straight to the back of the area. Stop just before a tree with a white trunk (birch?) and look west. Use the binoculars to examine the ground and notice that the snow looks different just beside a pine tree. That is a trap door. Open it on the far side and climb down into a tunnel. You hear a different secret sound but this is secret #1. At the end open the present and get a bundle of money.

Go west and see a frozen pool. Under the ice are a closed gate and a key. Go to the south-west and get behind a building. Examine the ground with binoculars and see a dark tile. That is for later. Go south to the front of another building and notice that it needs a key. There is a different colored tile beside the door as well. Go south to another building. Go to the west side and climb the pine tree there. Back flip to the roof and pick up an off-white Key. Jump south to the hedge and jump down the other side. Go to the front and enter the house again. Go to the south-east corner and use the key.  There is another key lock well hidden by the plant here also. Enter the new room and go left to the stove. Hop up there for a hamburger (large medipack). Go west toward the door there and hear another cat. Next go south to open the doors as a short cut into the back yard. Get back inside and press the pushbutton on the west wall and the door opens.  Enter the door into a room with a Christmas tree. Also on the floor is the cat.  Go left to the little stairs and shoot the presents beside the bear in the chair. Pick up a bronze Key from the floor. Go down the stairs and go to the fireplace. To the left of fireplace, pick up the crowbar hidden among the fireplace equipment. As for the cat, it went down the stairs as well. I opened the doors so it goes outside and I followed it around the back yard. It did not seem to go anywhere in particular.

Return to the building where you climbed the tree. Open the door there with the crowbar. Pick up matches (flares) from the workbench. Climb on the box and face south. Pull the jump switch on the south wall and get a cut scene of a box lowering somewhere to reveal a pushbutton. Go the building to the south and use the key to open the door. Go inside and press the pushbutton on the left wall. Get a cut scene of the block in the previous building dropping. Go there and press the pushbutton. Return to the other building and press the pushbutton again. The way should now be clear so you can pull out the movable box in the corner to outside the building. Push it onto the different tile to the south of the door. A block inside the building rises. Hop on the block and jump up to pull down a trap door. Jump to a ladder and climb to the roof. You can shoot the snowballs on the roof. Save so you can watch the next action a few times. Stand behind the snowball you cannot shoot. Use CTRL to push the snowball off the roof and into the pool where it breaks the ice. Fantastic idea! Dive into the pool and pick up a golden Key in front of the closed gate. There is another key still behind it.

Go back into the house. Go pass the Christmas tree and go to the north-east. The door opens giving you another short cut through the house. Go up the stairs and go to the key lock under the light at the south wall. Use the key and the door opens. Enter the room and watch out for the cat. Open the white door to the outside balcony. This lets the cat out but you can also see the chimney with something on it for later. It is too hot right now. Go inside and pick up a huge match (torch) off the desk. You may recognize that the computer has a web page from Lara's Level Base. Go downstairs to the fireplace and light the torch. Go back out the front door and to the wood you saw on the sidewalk. Light it and it melts the ice. Pick up a yellow Key from the puddle. You can drop the torch but remember where it is because you need it again. Go back inside the house, up the stairs, to the south-west corner. Use the key and the trap door above your head drops open.

Climb into the attic area. Go the south-east there is a pushbutton behind a pillar. It raises some blocks for a limited time. On the pillar to the north-west is a jump switch. Press the pushbutton the column and get on the block behind you. Go north and then north-west. Jump to the south and then to the central pillar. Then to the north-west pillar and pull the jump switch. When you are successful, a rope drops to the middle of the room. Jump up to grab it and swing onto a box in the south-west corner. Turn to north-east and jump to the boxes there. Press the pushbutton and the boxes to the south drop. Go there and press a pushbutton and get a cut scene of a block rising beneath the trap door. Wait a few seconds and it goes down so it is timed as well. Obviously, go back to where you left the torch and bring it back into the house. Drop the torch at the base of the trap door. Climb up and press the pushbutton. Roll and start jumping during the cut scene. Try to jump exactly on the match, pick it up and jump again. After a few tries you should make it. Throw the torch on the wooden floor near the pushbutton and the floor burns through.

Drop into the room and shoot the presents in the south-east corner. Go there and pick up a blue Key. Also open the white doors onto the balcony. Go back inside and open the present near the west wall and get a candle. Go to the east wall and press the pushbutton to open the door. Go to the east and use the key to open the door. The cat was also there so it also gets in. Go south to open the doors to the balcony. Go to the northeast to get matches from the bookcase. Go behind the desk to press the pushbutton. You hear a door open. Exit this room and loop to the right and into the washroom. Go to the end and pick up a white Key from the drain in the bathtub. Pressing the pushbutton behind the toilet apparently flushes it. Go downstairs and to the south to the locked doors. Use the key and the door to the right opens. Pick up a candle from the present on the floor. You can get a hamburger from the ledge near the door. Open the white doors to the outside.

Go back into the corridor and go south into the room. Turn right and use the two candles to complete the wreath on the ledge. You hear a door open so exit to the north and see a door with stairs leading downwards. Go to the bottom and pick up matches from the paint bench. Go around the corner to the east wall and find a movable box. Shoot the shelves blocking it and pull it out. Move it out of the way and go where it was to pull out another movable box. Get in the alcove and use CTRL to kick in the lower wall. Crawl in for secret #2 and open the present to get a bundle of money. Go to the south-east corner and use CTRL to kick in a panel. Shoot the lower shelves and enter the crawl space. Crawl to the end and stand up in a room with a trap door in the middle. There are three movable blocks. Move these blocks to the corresponding position on the opposite side of a similar block.  So that if you south the left and right sides look like mirror images. Put the movable metal box on the east wall in the same position as the metal box on the west wall. A wall torch will light up when it is correct. Put the movable wooden box to the right of the entrance to the south of the metal box. A wall torch should light up. Put the paper box opposite the other paper box. A wall torch should light up and the trap door will open. Of course, it has to be filled with water.

Dive in and go straight until you see a right branch. Go right and up to surface for air. Dive and go west to a T-junction. Here go right and follow the tunnel to pick up a gold Key. You get a cut scene to show where to use it. Now go back to that air hole you used before because you are probably out of air. Dive down and go east to a T-junction. Turn right and turn left at the first branch. Go straight until you see an opening. Swim up for air and press the pushbutton on the south wall to drain the tunnel. Climb down into the dry tunnel. Go south and use the crowbar to open a door and pick up matches. Return and go west and then go south to use the crowbar to open a door and pick up an apple (small medipack). Back to the tunnel and go north to a drop. Go the left tunnel and go west to a ladder. Climb up and get a note from Sheevah about this being the last key. Pick up a white Key near the south wall. Continue west to a T-junction. To the right was where you swam for the gold key.  Go left and down and follow to a door. Use the crowbar to open the door. You get secret #3 and open the present to get a bundle of money. Continue further and climb a ladder into a room. Use the gold key and get a cut scene of the trap door behind a building dropping down. Go back to the room where you drained the tunnel. Press the pushbutton to flood it again and swim back to the room with the boxes.

Go back through the crawl space and up the stairs. The key lock for the white key is behind the plant to the left. But first go outside. Go behind the south-west building and get into the trap door. Get into a crawl space and at the end get a water flask from the present. Go back and use that last key. Enter the washroom and open the present in the water. Get secret #4 and a bundle of money. Fill the flask with water while you are here. Press the pushbutton behind the toilet to flush it. Now go back to fireplace. After many failed attempts, eventually you can stand in a corner without catching fire. Carefully use the water to put out the fire. You get a cut scene of the item on top of the chimney and the chimney is now safe. Exit back to the house and go up the stairs and then out a door to the balcony. Climb the chimney and pick up a battery. Drop down from the balcony and go to the Christmas tree room. Put the battery into the toy bear beside the tree. You get a cut scene of a door opening and a Christmas card on the floor. Leave the Christmas tree room by the north-east door and loop left into that room and pick up the Christmas card. Leave the room and the level ends.
