Level 1: Gestrandet
You
start with a flyby of a small island with Lara on it. Run forward and kill a scorpion. Go to the north-west corner of the island.
Get into the water and swim in the north-west direction. Look for a hole in the
floor of the ocean. Swim into it and follow an underwater tunnel. Pull up into
a dark room and get secret #1. Go to the
north-west wall and jump up to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing south to get over
the slope. Drop to the floor and light a flare to look around. Pick up a crossbow and note the colors on the floor. There are,
from the east, blue, red, green, yellow and brown. Slide down the slope and
enter the water. Avoid the fish and swim south-east back to the island. Go to
the south-east corner of the island to find a place to stand up and walk onto
the island. Notice that not all the fish will attack you. Stand on the shore
and kill two sharks that followed you from the
hole. Go to the east shore and pick up red shotgun
shells and a shotgun.
Go to the south-east corner and swim out into the
water in a south-east direction. Again look for a hole in the ocean bottom.
Swim in and follow the underwater tunnel to a small room. Kill a scorpion and pick up crossbow
normal ammo from the corner. Go to the south-east corner and find a blue
receptacle. Swim back to the island.
Go to the south-west corner and swim out into the
water in a south-west direction. Again look for a hole in the ocean bottom.
Swim in and follow the underwater tunnel to a ledge. Pull up to the ledge and
find a closed door. Swim back to the island.
Go to the north-east corner of the island. Look
north and you can see the hole in the ocean floor. Swim there and follow the
underwater tunnel to a room. Move the large vase from the corner onto the fancy
tile in the north-west corner. The door beside you opens. Kill the dog that runs out of the room. Enter the room to see a
gray receptacle in the east wall. Pull the wall switch on the west wall. You
get a cut scene of a door opening. Swim back to the island.
Swim back to the hole in the south-west ocean
floor. Pull up to the ledge and kill a dog. Also
kill the shark that may have followed you into
the tunnel. Move the large vase over the two brown tiles under the glass floor.
The south door opens. Kill the two dogs that run
out of the room. Move the large vase over the two brown tiles under the glass
floor. The south door opens. Enter the door for red
shotgun shells and the Drachen Mamor, which seems to be a plaque. Swim back to the island again.
Swim back to the south-east hole and
use the Drachen Mamor in the blue receptacle. You get a cut scene of a closed
underwater door. Swim back to the island.
Go to the south-west corner and swim
west. Look for another plaque on the ocean floor. Pick up the Drachen Mamor and then swim south
over the sea mountain and into a valley. Pick up a large medipack and flares. Then swim back to the island.
Go to the north-east corner of the island. Swim
north and into the hole in the ocean floor. Return to the room and use the
Drachen Mamor in the gray receptacle. You get a cut scene of the underwater
gate opening. Then swim back to the island.
Go to the north-east corner of the island. Look to
the north-east and see a sea mountain. Swim over that mountain and continue to
the north-east into a hole in the ocean floor. Swim into the hole and follow
the tunnel pass the open door. Take the first branch to the right for air. Then
return to the tunnels and pick up the laser sight. Then return for air and pull
up to a ledge. Go forward towards a pit and get a flyby showing you a closed
gate on the other side of the pit. Go to the pit and climb down a ladder on the
north wall to the bottom. Follow the tunnel to enter a room with a tower and
five colored tiles and closed doors. I assumed that the order of tower
placement was blue, red, green, yellow and brown. This is the same order as
shown in the secret cave.
Move the tower to the blue tile. Then turn and look
north-east at a timed open gate. Go to the north column and back flip to the
south slope. Jump forward around the slopes and into the open gate. You slide
down a slope to face a ladder. If you do not make the timed gate, pull the
tower off the blue tile. Then push the tower back onto the blue tile to open
the gate again. Climb the ladder and follow the tunnel to an opening
overlooking the room. Jump to the center platform and then into the south
tunnel. Crawl under the swinging blades and pull the wall switch. You get a cut
scene of a gate opening. Crawl under the blades and safety drop to the floor of
the tower room. Notice that a door is open in the south-west corner. You see a
second gate behind the door in the south tunnel.
Move the tower to the red tile. The second timed
gate opens in the south tunnel. Turn and jump into the tunnel and slide down a
slope as the gate closes. Look to the south wall for a crawl space. Crawl in
and then follow a tunnel to a T-junction. To the right is a jump switch behind
a trench of fire. Go left and enter a room with waterfalls. Go to the center of
the waterfalls and pull up into a tunnel that is hidden behind it. Follow the
tunnel to a closed door. Turn to the right and use the wall switch to open the
door. Notice the water in the north tunnel. Enter the door and pull another
wall switch. You get a cut scene of the water tunnel and the fire is out. Go
there and pull down a jump switch. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Go
back through the crawl space and follow the tunnel to slide back down into the
tower room. Notice that a door has open in the north-west corner. You see a
second door behind the door in the north tunnel.
Move the tower to the green tile. Nothing obvious
seems to have happened but I think you can hear a door open.
Move the tower to the yellow tile. The second door
in that north-west tunnel opens. Go there and through the timed door. Slide
down a slope and the door closes behind you. Pull up to a T-junction. Go to the
right and follow the tunnel. Pull a wall switch and get a cut scene of a gate
opening by a picture. Return to the junction and go straight and kill a dog. Go pass
the south branch tunnel and take the north tunnel. Follow the tunnel and kill a
dog. Follow the tunnel to the end and pull up
into a crawl space. You get secret #2 and red shotgun shells. Return and take the south tunnel
to the end. You find a crawl space. Pull up and on the other side, safety drop
back into the room tower.
Go back to the entrance tunnel and climb the long
ladder. Turn around and jump the pit to the east tunnel. Follow the tunnel to
the third floor. Jump north to a crossbeam. Then jump north to the second
crossbeam. Pull the switch on the block and get a cut scene of two gates
opening. Jump to the central platform and safety drop to the floor of the tower
room.
Push the tower to the brown tile from the east
side. Then roll and sprint east through the open timed gate. Slide down a slope
and go east. Climb the blocks and follow the tunnel to a room. The two open
gates are at the east wall. The tunnel at the west wall leads back to the tower
room just in case you came here before the gates were opened.
Enter either gateway and enter a maze. There are
two tunnels. Take the south tunnel and turn right, two left, two right, and two
left and reach a very dark area. This is a four-way junction. Go straight,
right, two left, right, left, right, and left. You have to kill two dogs during the trip. Pull up in a crawl space at
the north wall. You get secret #3, small medipack, and flares.
The flares are useless because of the flare bug. Throw them if you need light.
Return back to the dark four-way junction.
Go south and face a T-junction. Take the right
branch and kill a dog. Follow the tunnel to the
end. Pull up into an opening in the high south wall. Pull down the wall switch
and get down. Follow the tunnel back to the T-junction. Go straight this time
and follow the tunnel around the corner to see an open gate. Enter the gate and
slide down the slope and the level ends. There are many dogs in the other maze tunnels that you missed.
Level 2: Unter Wasser Stadt
You enter the level by sliding down a slope into a
small room. Go south into a large tunnel opening. Sprint down the ramp and jump
the pit at the bottom. Pull up to the south ledge as two spike balls fall
behind you. Jump back to the ramp and drop into the pit. Pull down the wall
switch on the north wall. You get a cut scene of the large gate to the south
opening. Pull up and jump over the pit again. Go to the east wall and pick up a
small medipack. You can actually walk through
the east wall and walk among the fish. I guess that is an error and you are not
supposed to go there.
Go south through the gates. A skeleton rises out of the ground. Use the crossbow and
laser sight to shoot and shatter its head. Then the skeleton can no longer
attack you. Go west and then south to shoot the head of another skeleton. Pull up onto the roof of the building and go
south. Jump to the roof of the next building and crawl south on the roof. You
should find a gear (Rad). Safety drop to the
ground and go to the south-west corner and behead another skeleton. Notice the closed door in the west wall. Go
east and pass a receptacle and two closed doors in the south wall. Go to the
outside corner of the south-east building and pull up to the roof. Go south-east
and pull up into a hole in the ceiling.
Enter a large room with gold on the floor. Go north
and enter a tunnel. At a T-junction go left and follow the tunnel. You see a
fancy tile to the north. Go to the east side of the room and see three columns
at the east wall. Move the column at the north-east corner onto the fancy tile.
It takes a lot of running around the room. Then move the middle column to the
north wall. Pick up the Drachen Mamor from the
floor where the column was. You could move the third column onto the middle
tile. Then return through the gold room and the hole to the lower building
area.
Go to the south wall and use the Drachen Mamor in
the receptacle. The door to your left opens. Enter the tunnel and follow the
blocks up to another area with buildings. Slide down the slope and run to the
north-east side of the north-east building. Grab the green part of the north
wall and climb up to the roof. You get secret #4,
large medipack, and red
shotgun shells. With patience, you can also behead two skeletons running around on the ground. Drop down
and go to the north-west corner. Pull down a jump switch on the wall that is
east of the plant. You get a cut scene of a door opening and revealing a key.
Go back down the tunnel into the lower area. Go left and enter the open door to
pick up a Blue Key.
Go back up the blocks to the second building area.
Go to the east side of the east building and find a key lock. Use the Blue Key
and get a cut scene of the last south wall door opening in the area below you.
Run down the tunnel and turn right to find that open door. Hop into the open
door and follow the tunnel to an area with a fountain. Kill the two dogs that appear. Dive into
the fountain and look at the south floor area for another Blue Key (Weisser Schloss). Go to the south wall and
use the Blue Key to open the door. Go inside and enter a library. Go to the
east wall and jump over a floor blade. Pick up a Blue
Key and jump back over the floor blade. Go north and find another floor
blade. Jump over and use the Blue Key to get a cut scene of a gate opening
above you. Jump back and go to the north wall. Climb the north wall bookcase to
your right and back flip to a bookshelf. Jump to the next bookshelf and into
the north opening.
You are on the second floor ledge. Notice the
closed door on the west ledge. Go to the east ledge and follow the tunnel.
Carefully jump over the two floor blades and continue down the tunnel. You
reach an area with water and islands. There is a closed underwater door at the
east wall. Dive into the water and swim to the south wall to find a Blue Key (Weisser Schloss). Then swim to the
north-east and pull up onto an island. Use the Blue Key and the underwater door
opens. Swim through the door and swim into the north-east corner for a Blue Key.
Then swim north and pull up onto the island with buildings. Go between
the buildings to the north wall and pick up a gear
(Rad). Go into the north-east corner and use
the Blue Key. You get a cut scene of a door open back in the fountain room.
Swim back to the other room and go up
the tunnel. Jump over the two floor blades to get back to the ledge. Go to the
west ledge and enter the open door. Folow the tunnel to arrive at a T-junction.
Go forward a little and jump back to avoid a spike ball. Enter again and go
left. You get secret #5 but there is nothing to pick up. Turn and go north and jump over
the pit with the spike ball. Follow the ramp upwards and arrive onto the third
floor ledge. Go to the east ledge and climb the multi-colored wall. Shimmy to
either side and onto the fourth floor level. There is a closed door in the
north-east corner. Jump to the center section with the glass floor and pick up
a big key (Drachen Schloss). Go to the south-west corner and enter the opening.
Go down into the room and go to the
south-west corner. Pull the wall switch on the west wall. A timed gate opens in
the north wall. Get into the door and it closes behind you. Go east and climb
the block. Pull up into a crawl space for a Blue Key. Go to the west side and use the Blue
Key in the lock. Go back to the crawl space and this time drop back into the
room. Go to the open gate at the west wall. Place a gear on the post and hear a
sound like something dropping. Exit the room and go back to the ledge. Go to
the north-east corner and enter the open door. Go down the blocks into a
similar room. Go south and enter the next room. Move the two pillars onto the
two brown tiles on the floor below. Go north and then east to the open gate. Go
to the east wall and place the second gear on a post. Again you hear a sound
like something dropping. Exit the room and go back to the ledge. Then go to
climb the blocks in the north-west corner. Run and jump into the hole in the
ceiling and grab a ledge. Pull up into the room that is under the ocean.
Go to the center column and use the big
key. You get a long cut scene showing an outside view of an underwater
building, a yellow submarine, an underwater lever, and ending with an open
door. Just run off the edge of the hole and drop onto the block below. Go east
and climb down to the third floor ledge. From here you can jump into the water
fountain. Go north through the open door. Follow the tunnel to the first area
with buildings. Go left and enter the next door. Go up the blocks into the
second area with buildings. Jump into the open door in the west wall. Go to the
end and dive into the water. Swim to the south-west and down to the building
with the yellow submarine. Enter the west side and pull down an underwater
lever and the level ends.
