The Last Trident

You
start by sliding down a few slopes to land near a closed door. Climb the block to the west and jump to the ledge to the east. Jump to the north ledge for secret #1, shotgun, and red shotgun shells. Safety drop back to the ground. Go to the door in the west wall and the door opens as you approach. Shoot the blue ninja on the other side of the door. Go to the end of the tunnel and slide down the pole to the bottom. Pull up into the crawl space in the north wall. On the other end of the crawl space, back out but do not release. Shimmy to the left before you drop. Shoot the skeleton into the deadly water below the crawl space.

 

Go to the north-east corner and climb the wall into an alcove to pick up flares. Stand with your back to the east wall and jump up to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing to the west and drop onto a column. Jump south to a column and pick up the crossbow. Look up the ceiling towards the east and you see a hole. There is a climbable block to your left. Go back to the monkey swing and use it to get to the north side of the block. Release and grab the block. Shimmy around to the right and climb the block into the ceiling area. There is a closed door in the south wall. There is another closed door in the opening above your head. Go north and crawl into the corner for a small medipack. Return south and use the big button that you see to your left. You get a flyby of the door opening in the south wall and the water room that is behind it.

 

Watch out for the hole in the floor and go south. Enter the door to pick up crossbow explosive ammo. Kill the two crocodiles in the water. Dive into the water and pull up onto the south ledge. From there you can shoot the brown vases in the four corners of the room. You cannot use the floor lever yet.

 

Dive into the water and swim into the crawl space in the south-east corner. Pull up into a room and destroy the mummy. Pick up Uzi ammo from the floor under the broken vases. Look up to the south-east corner and see an opening. Pull up to a partial column to the west. Back flip, roll, and grab a crevice on the east wall. Shimmy to the right and into that opening. You face a set up slopes and spike traps. Hop onto the first slope and slide and jump to grab the climbable east wall. Shimmy to the right and release to drop on a slope. Jump to another slope and then jump to grab a climbable wall. Climb the wall and pull up. Slide down and jump straight to the west and over the slope and the spikes. You land in a corner to get secret #2, crossbow poison ammo, red shotgun shells and Uzi ammo. The gate opens to the north. Go north to climb the blocks and pick up an Eye Piece (Okular). The gates open beside you. Go through the gates to safety drop back into the previous room. Swim back to the room with the floor lever.

 

Dive into the water and swim into the crawl space in the lower west wall. Swim left and follow the south branch of the crawl space. Pull up to a ledge and save the game. Go through an open door that closes behind you. Use binoculars and you can see a few flat ledges on the south slopes. Run to the east as spike balls roll behind you. Stop on the second tile from the east slope. When you see the spike ball rolling down, side jump to the south slope. You will jump back to the floor but hopefully the spike ball from the east has rolled past you. Step on last tile before the east slope to trigger a spike ball. Go to the north wall and you can side jump over the spike balls back three tiles towards the entrance. Stand jump to the first flat tile in the south slope. Immediately back flip to your starting position to avoid a spike ball. Then stand jump back to that flat tile. Stand jump to the upper south-east to another flat tile. Run and jump to the flat tile to the east and keep running as a spike ball falls behind you. Pick up the second Eye Piece (Okular) and an earthquake happens. The spike balls have dropped into a pit. Slide down the south slope and grab the edge. Shimmy to the right to pull up and exit through the open door.

 

Dive into the water and swim to the north and then west. You pull up in front of the circular door. Make the Eye of Horus to open the circular door. Enter a closed room and you see a receptacle on the north wall. Turn south and use the wall switch on the south wall. You get a cut scene of a block rising back at the floor lever. Also notice that there is an opening in the south wall. Enter the area at the south wall. Go to the south-east corner so that you can destroy two skeletons with one explosive arrow. One skeleton is attacking you and the other skeleton is still on the ground. Go to the south-west corner and enter the crawl space. On the other side you face a group of five movable towers.

 

Push a tower to the east. Then push a tower to the south. Turn left and push a second tower to the east. Go to the south-west corner and shoot the brown vase in the corner alcove. If you have trouble using the pistols, use explosive ammo. Push the tower into the alcove so that it is out of your way. Pull back the east tower and go behind it to shoot another brown vase. Notice a tower in the north-east corner that is lighter is color than the other towers. You have to move the towers so that four of them are against the south wall. Then you can move the north-east tower back and go behind it to pick up the crowbar (Brechstange) that was beneath it. You also get a cut scene of a gate rising next to a skeleton. Exit this room and swim back to the room with the floor lever.

 

Pull up onto the south ledge and jump north to the block that the wall switch raised. Use the floor lever and the gate opens in the north-west corner. You can stand on a block in the water and pull up to that ledge if you have trouble jumping there. Enter the gate and it closes behind you. Go north and you face spike traps, spike balls, wall darts and a fire trap. Jump over the fire and go west. There are more spikes and darts. Jump over the second fire and go east, as there is a spike ball to the north. Jump the third fire and stand in front of the closed gate. A spike ball falls to your right. Spikes pop up from the floor to your left. When the spikes retract, go into that corner. Use the crowbar to pry the Golden Star (Goldener Stern) off the north wall. The north gates also opens.

 

Enter the gate and kill a red ninja. Go up the ramp and follow the tunnel to a gate. The gate opens as you step in front of it. You can shoot the skeleton into the hole or ignore it. Do not run into the hole but grab the edge of the hole. Release and grab the edge of the floor below. Pull up and go south and you are back in the room with the water. Dive into the water and swim back to the crawl space in the west wall. Swim to the end and pull up back into the room with the receptacle. Place the Golden Star and the west wall opens. Go there and kill a blue ninja and a red ninja. Enter the tunnel in the north wall and pick up Uzi ammo and destroy two skeletons.

 

Return back to the room and notice a climbable wall to the left of the tunnel entrance. Climb the wall and shimmy to the left as far as possible. Back flip and you should land on a ledge on the south wall. Run and jump to grab the ledge to the west. Pull up and go west. Jump to the south-west ledge for crossbow poison ammo. Then jump to the north-west ledge. Use the floor lever and the doors open in the room below. Safety drop into the room. Pick up a large medipack and Cartouche Piece 1 (Kartuschenteil) from the central platform. Then go west to enter the open door.

 

Go to the north-west green vase and stand beside it. Jump up to grab the upper west ledge. Pull up and go into the triangular crawl space to the south. You get secret #3 and the Uzi's. Get down and go to the vase platform to the north-east. Pull up to the north part of the east ledge. Shoot the vase and enter the crawl space for a torch. Hop to the north and drop the torch. Pull down the wall switch and you hear a gate open. Return back to the ledge. Jump into an east alcove and pick up Cartouche Piece 2. Safety drop to the floor. Go to the south-east corner and make the Ra Cartouche (Rechteckige Kartusche). Use it in the receptacle and you hear a gate open. Turn around and kill a red ninja.

 

Pull back up to the south part of the east ledge. Shoot the vase and enter the crawl space. Notice the fire and the switch on the east wall. Pull down the wall switch and you hear a gate open. Quickly exit and jump into the water by the waterfalls to extinguish a fire wraith. Go back to the north-east ledge and enter the crawl space again. Pick up the torch again. Follow the upper tunnel to the south to a dead end. Save the game at this point. Go to the left side of the wall and take about a half step back from the opening. Press the space bar to throw the torch through the opening. It took many tries to throw the torch through the opening and onto the other side. Many times it would stay on the edge of the other side and I could not pick it up.

 

When you think that the torch is over, exit this area and return to the room with the fire on the south part of the east ledge. Enter the room and go to the south end. Hop the blocks to the east to get on the other side of the opening. Pick up the torch from the floor. You may have to guess where it landed as it can be difficult to see. Exit and light the torch on the fire. Stand back about one tile from the north wall and throw the lit torch through the crawl space. Crawl through and pick up the torch. Save the game just in case you drop the torch into the water.

 

Jump to the floor and drop the lit torch. Go to the north-east corner and use the floor lever. The doors in the west wall behind the waterfalls are open. Pick up the lit torch and enter the open doors. Light the four wall torches and you hear a gate open. Climb the ladder and pull up into a crawl space. Crawl forward and get a flyby of the next room. Stand up and enter the room with a fountain. Kill two harpies that start to attack you.  Dive into the water trench and swim north and into a crawl space. You will a closed gate and ladder that you cannot reach. Swim back out to the fountain room but now you know what is there.

 

Go to the south-west corner and stand on a small mound to pull up to a south column. Light a flare so that you see. Use the floor lever in the east corner and a door opens in the west wall on the floor area. Forget it for now, and jump the columns around the sides of the room to reach an opening in the upper south-west corner. Stay near the room side of the columns or you will bump your head on the ceiling. On the last jump, you can stand on the slope. Enter the crawl space and see a closed gate. Go to the south-east corner and pull down a jump switch on the upper west wall to open the gate. Enter the room and pick up the Horseman's Gem (Blauer Edelstein) from the floor.

 

Exit the room and safety drop down to the floor. Now go to the open door in the west wall. Enter the room and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of the underwater gate opening. You know where the gate is so get into the water trench and swim there. Pull up into an opening and place the Horseman's Gem on the west wall. The tunnel is now dry. Follow the tunnel back to where you saw the ladder. Climb the ladder and pull up into a tunnel. Pick up flares and dive into a water hole. You are in an underwater maze.

 

Go east and turn to the left. You see a small crawl space in the lower east wall. Swim into that crawl space. On the other side swim up and into another crawl space in the upper east wall. Swim south and turn to the left. Just follow the tunnel through two crawl spaces. At the end, swim to the west into an upper triangular crawl space and surface. Follow the tunnel to a room with many fire traps. Destroy a skeleton and jump a fire trap to get to the middle of the room. Notice that some fire traps in the west stop. Go to the slope at the west wall and climb up to the top of the side ledges. The side ledges have spike traps. Shimmy to the right as far as possible to the right of the V-shaped ceiling. Pull up into the triangular crawl space. Stand up and go east to turn the corner.

 

Pull down the wall switch on the west wall. Return to the crawl space and shimmy to the left of the V-shaped ceiling. Pull up to the north ledge and be careful of the spike trap.  Destroy another skeleton and go west. Loop around to the left and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of a fire stopping. Turn around and enter the west alcove. Pull up to a north alcove and pull down a wall switch. You get a cut scene of two gates opening. Notice the closed door beside you. Be careful of the spike traps and safety drop to the floor. Jump over the fire in the east to enter a tunnel. Go through an open gate and press the big button on the west wall. You get a cut scene of the upper door opening by the wall switch. Jump over the fire and climb the wall again. Go back to the alcove and go through the open door.

 

Go down the short tunnel and see slopes ahead of you. Save the game for a very hard slide. Stand at the east wall. Slide down the first two slopes and jump forward before you land on the large slope. Jump with left curves to get to the middle of the left slope. You have to jump up and pull down a jump switch that is in the downward path. This jump switch closes a door so that a spike ball does not fall down the slope. At the bottom, use the floor lever to open the north door. If you did not pull the jump switch, a spike ball would crush you before you could move out of the way.

 

Go through the north door and climb the blocks. A door opens for you so enter the room. Pick up the trident (Letzter Dreizack) from the pedestal and the door in the north wall opens. Enter the door and go down the tunnel. You enter an open outdoor area. Slide down the slope and the level ends.
