You slide
down a slope and into a room. Go north behind the couch to pick up a chocolate bar (small medipack) and the door in the
west wall opens. Go out the door into an outdoor area. There is a closed gate
to the north. Shoot the gremlin walking towards
you. Go to the south-east and pick up candles (flares)
from the platform that looks like a square of chocolate. You can shoot the
barricades but there is nothing behind them. You will be back here later.
Continue east and enter a large open area. To the south is an item behind a
closed gate. Go east and see a sigh with an arrow. Go to the right side of the
column and use the switch to open the gate in the east entrance. The switch to
the left side of the column is a spike trap. Go east and watch out for the fire
traps on the floor. Enter the gate and it closes behind you. There seems to be
nothing in the room so just go east to the other side of the room and pick up
the Muffin Man's Cryptic Note. The gate in the
corner will open. The note states:
"The Torches Have Been Lit,
To Survive You must Bring 6 Items.
Failure is Not An Option. The Beasts are Hungry,
I will meet you in due Course..."
Enter the open gate and slide down the slope as an
earthquake happens. Follow the tunnels back to the large open area. Shoot a gremlin and go west towards the starting area. Shoot a
gremlin and go back to the starting area. There
are two ways to go but you have to do both routes at some time. You can now go
to the gate area or to the barricades area. I suppose that you could go to the
gate area first for items, secrets, and weapons without any problems. But I
went to the barricade area first.
The barricades are back so shoot the barricades
again and enter the cave behind them. Just follow the tunnel and near the end,
jump over a slope and onto a ledge. Pick up secret #1
and a chocolate bar. Slide down the slope and
fall down a long vertical shaft and into a chocolate river. Notice a climbing
ladder on the north wall. Pull up and notice a closed gate in the south wall.
Go west into a large open area. The chocolate river
flows down the slopes in the west. Go to the south-west area and use the rocks
there to run and jump onto the mound at the south wall. Pick up the revolver in front of the tree. Pull up into the
opening in the south wall. Go south and jump over a trench. Then go west to
shoot a beast. There is a closed gate in the
south wall. Pull up into a crawl space at the north wall. Drop on the other
side and pick up a torch shaped like a candleholder.
Go west and stand jump up several times to a high ledge. At the top stand jump
to the east into a dark area. Go east and drop down in front of the gate. Carry
the torch and exit back to the chocolate river area.
Save the game at this point. Go to the south-east
corner and the gate opens for you. Go forward and the second gate opens. Enter
the cave and fires start on the standing torches. Ignore the tigers and just
light your torch and exit the room. Go back to the mound and stand jump into
the south area. Drop into the trench and light the floor torch to hear a gate
open. Hop onto the north side of the trench and drop the torch. Go south and
west to the open gate and pull the wall switch. Return and the trench is now a
milk pit. Dive into the milk pit and swim to the bottom for the Vin item. Swim back up to a ledge and jump north over
the milk pit. Exit this area back to the chocolate river area.
Then go to the east wall for revolver ammo. Go to the south-east corner and enter
the cave again. Climb on the block to the south-east and kill four tigers. Face the cereal box and notice a red-lit
tile at the east base. Step on that tile and you hear an earthquake. There was
a problem here that if you reloaded, the fire in the cave was gone. That is why
I used the torch first. Exit and room and notice that the chocolate river is
gone. Go east back to where you saw the closed gate. A fire has started in
front of the gate. Run to the gate and it opens. Enter the alcove and pick up
the Yang item. Exit and shoot two beasts on the opposite ledge.
Now go west and climb up the slopes of the river
and see a large room with columns. Carefully pull up into the room at the right
side corner. Kill a beast and be careful, as
parts of the floor are spike traps. The item that you see on the floor is
behind spike traps so you cannot go in that direction. In the map below,
"S" is a switch to open the gate to the exit. The red tiles are spike
traps. The "S#" is secret#2 and a vanilla ice cream (large medipack). Go pull the switch, get the secret and exit the open gate
into a corridor.
Follow the corridor to two rows of
spike tiles and look up to the ceiling. The ceiling platforms mark the tiles
that are spike traps. The other tiles are safe. Go up the slope and then run
back to safety to avoid two rolling balls. Then return to the top of the slope.
Go east into another tunnel. Just before the tunnel exit there is another torch
shaped like a candleholder. Leave it there and do not touch it. Climb down a
ladder into a room. To the east are two closed gates and three receptacles. On
the north wall is an item for later. Hop onto the block to the right of the
item. Drop into then north-west hole for secret #3 and a vanilla ice cream. Go south and loop
around to the left to face three tunnels. There is a closed gate in the north
wall. Drop into the hole in the middle of the floor for candles.
Enter the middle doorway under the red
block. Turn to the left to see a switch on the wall. Pull down the switch and
you hear a timed gate open. Enter the crawl space and follow to a second crawl
space. Pull up onto a block. Run forward and slide into a room before the gate
closes. Pick up the candy cane (crowbar) from the platform. Use the switch on the wall twice to open the
gate again. Jump the slope and go back through the crawl spaces to return to
the room where you started.
Enter the south doorway under the blue
block. There are no traps so just go west until you enter a crawl space. In the
other side enter an opening in the upper south wall. Drop down and enter an
upper east opening. Use the crowbar to pry the first Golden Star off the wall. Then
return to the room where you started.
Enter the north doorway under the green
block. Look in the mirror to see the location of the deadly spike traps. Get
into the dark south-west corner and pry the second Golden Star off the south wall.
Then return to the room where you started.
Go south and loop around to the right to get back
to the room with the receptacles. Go to the south wall and pry off the third Golden Star. Place the three Golden Stars and a gate
opens in the east wall. Enter the alcove and pick up the Magic Star. The other gate in the east wall also
opens. Shoot the beast that seems to be stuck on
the block. After this point, you cannot climb the wall ladder to return to the
previous area.
Return to the room with the three doorways and
enter the now open gate in the north wall. Go up the ramp and then quickly go
back down to avoid a rolling ball. Return up the ramp and at the top climb up a
ladder on the west wall. At the top, jump to the east ledge. Grab the roof and
shimmy to the left as far as possible. Climb down the ladder onto a block. Get
into a trench and go to the west end. Pick up secret#4
and a vanilla ice cream. Go east over the next
two blocks and pick up candles. You can go back
the same way or just dive into the chocolate river and swim to the north shore
to surface. Notice a switch on the north wall and a fire in the middle of the
area. Dive into the chocolate river and swim east. Follow the chocolate river to
the end and pull up into an area where you see an arrow sign.
First go south and stand jump to the mound at the
wall. Pull up onto the wall and drop on the other side. Go south and enter a
very large area. To the east is a green wall with a harpy behind it. You can
see an item that you cannot reach on a column to the west. Go to the middle of
the west wall and enter a cave. Go west to hop on the block and shoot four tigers. Go towards the south and get secret #5 and revolver ammo
from a small platform. Go to the middle of the cereal box and stand in a small
hole. An earthquake happens. Turn around and kill two
tigers entering the cave. The skeleton harpy has
escaped and you cannot kill it. Run back outside the cave to the previous area
and the green wall is gone. Go to the north-east and pull up onto the column.
Jump the columns around to land on the column with the item you saw earlier.
Pick up Frosties Kid's Soul and the harpy
vanishes. Get down and go north back to the chocolate river area.
This time follow the sign and go east to enter a
cave. Kill two beasts and go to the back of the
cave. Behind a column is a switch. Notice a lower crawl space in the south wall
for later. Pull the switch, side jump to the left and run away from the rolling
balls. A gate has opened in the north wall. Climb the block and follow the
tunnel. At the end, jump over a slope and enter a large cave. Kill four beasts that attack you. Go to the north-east and
enter an alcove. Pick up secret #6 and revolver ammo. Turn and go to the south wall and pry
off a Golden Star. Go to the north-west and
enter the tunnel again to exit the cave. Return back to the chocolate river
area. Dive in and swim back to the area with a fire.
Go to the north wall and pull the switch on the
wall. Go to the south-west and see an opening in the west wall. Kill a tiger and four gremlins.
Get into the opening and carefully follow the winding tunnel. You can stand
jump over the four spike traps in the tunnel. Enter a room and notice a large
block to the south-west. Pull up at the corner of the block. Drop into a hole
and pry a Golden Star off the west wall. Drop
down to the ground and go to the north. Hop over the blue blocks and enter a
corridor to the west. Pull up into a south tunnel. Use the two Golden Stars to
open the gate at the south end.
Enter and follow the tunnel over the many blocks.
At the end, pull up into a crawl space in the east wall. On the other side,
enter a large cave area and kill three beasts.
Get back to the tunnel entrance that is the upper west wall. From the tunnel
entrance go to the north-east and find a block to hop onto. Run and jump to the
east and onto a higher block. Stand jump to the east to grab a higher column.
Run and jump to the column at the east wall. Jump south to grab a wall ladder.
Shimmy to the left around the corner for three tiles. Back flip onto a ledge
behind you. Go west to climb the blocks and pick up the Face Token from the pedestal. Go back to a lower block and safety
drop to the ground. Go to the west wall and exit this cave.
Follow the tunnel all the way back to the area
where you got the Golden Star from the hole. Transverse the spike trap tunnel
again and return to the chocolate river area. Dive into the chocolate river and
swim back to the area with the cave. Now enter the crawl space in the south
wall and go to the end. Climb the long wall ladder and shimmy to the right at
the top. Follow the tunnel to the end and a gate opens for you. Hop over a
slope into a large room. There is a closed gate to the east. There are closed
gates to the south on a very high ledge.
Go south and ignore the blocks and columns for now.
You have to return here later. Go the south-west corner and follow the west
tunnel back to area near the start. Go west back to the starting area and go to
the north. The gate opens as you approach. Continue north and slide down a long
slope. Continue and crawl under a low ceiling. Climb a long pink ladder and
hear a creature. At the top, jump to the south-west corner for secret #7 and the shotgun.
Jump to the north and enter a large area. Then go to the mound at the east
wall. Do not slide down the hole yet. From here you can use pistols to shoot
the three gremlins and the poisonous creature in safety.
Save the game at this point. Safety drop into the
south side of the hole. Slide down a long slope and make two jumps with a left
curve. You should land on a ledge above the creatures. Pick up secret #8 and blue shotgun
shells from the ledge. From the ledge you can use pistols to kill three poisonous creatures in safety. If you do not
make the ledge, reload and try again. You cannot kill them at their level.
Slide down to the ground. The two rooms to the east
are empty. Go north and jump over the spike traps to grab the pink wall. Climb
to the top and carefully go to the end of the tunnel. Pick up a Sugary Gem and climb the north wall in front of you.
You enter a large room with a deep trench in the middle. Jump over the trench
to get on the north side. In the middle of the ledge is a hole. Drop into the
hole for secret #9 and the grenade gun. Then jump back to the south side and
climb down the ladder to the bottom of the trench.
Go east and face a water pool and columns on fire.
Turn to your left to see a wall switch. Pull the timed wall switch to stop the
fire. Start jumping the columns and at the third column, jump to grab the
opening in the north wall. Pull up into the opening and go to the corner for secret #10 and a shotgun.
Dive into the water and swim to the dark north-west corner to pull up onto a
ledge. Pull up to the south ledge and return to the wall switch to try the run
again. When you make the final ledge, go to the south corner for a second Sugary Gem. Dive into the water and swim back to the
entrance and go back to the trench.
Go west to pick up a vanilla
ice cream. Place the two gems in the south wall receptacles and the gate
opens. Enter the gate and run to the end of the tunnel. You fall down a
vertical shaft and into water. Swim south and see a closed underwater gate.
Surface and pull up onto the south ledge. You enter a room with two holes in
the floor. Notice an opening in the high south wall. Drop into the east hole
and pull the wall switch. Then drop into the west hole to pull the wall switch.
Go back to the water and enter the open underwater gate. Follow the underwater
tunnel. Look for a hole in the floor.
Swim down into the hole for secret #11 and Uzi's. Then continue swimming and pull up into a big
pink room with columns.
Go south and look to your left for a tunnel. Follow
the tunnel and kill a poisonous creature roaming
around the room. Pick up a vanilla ice cream and
slide into the room. Go to the north-west corner and quickly retreat before
another poisonous creature. Lure it back to the
entrance area and kill it. Return to the north-west and go behind the tall
ledge to see a wall switch and the fire. Pull the wall switch and exit the
room. Go south towards the open gate. Use a flare for light and look to the
columns on your right. Enter between the last two columns for secret #12 and grenade
super ammo. Enter the gate and climb the ladder. At the top, go to the
left and pull a wall switch. An earthquake happens and the area that you just
left is flooded with water.
Dive in and swim north and swim back into the
tunnel towards the room where the two poisonous creatures were located. The
entrance is closed but near the gate you can pick up secret
#13 and a vanilla ice cream. Continue
swimming back down the tunnel to return to the room with the two switches in
the two holes. You can now swim into the high tunnel in the wall. You surface
into a small room and see a receptacle on a column. Go west to pull the wall switch and an earthquake happens. Go to
the south-east corner and enter a dark tunnel.
At the end turn to the left into a bright tunnel.
Go west and the tunnel branches. There is an arrow sign on the floor. Follow
the arrow sign and kill a beast. Follow the
tunnel and enter a side branch to get secret #14
and a chocolate bar. Return to the arrow sign
and follow the tunnel to the west. Be careful at the end for two spike traps.
Drop into the hole at the end for a Sugary Gem.
Return to the entrance room and use the gem in the receptacle. The gate in the
west wall opens. Enter the gate and pull up into an upper tunnel to the west.
Follow the tunnel to the end and climb a ladder. Go through the open gate into
a room.
Kill a beast but be
careful of the long drops in the room below. Hop onto a pink block and enter
the other tunnel in the south wall. Go through a crawl space and climb the east
wall. Go east and climb a wall ladder. Go through a crawl space and drop into a
familiar area. Go east to shoot a poisonous creature.
Go south and hop over an open grave. The gate in the south wall is open. Enter
the gate and pick up a Sugary Gem. Go north and
follow the tunnel back to the area with the columns to climb and you ignored
before.
Pull up onto the short block and jump the higher
blocks to the top. Grab the east wall and climb up. Shimmy to the right and the
camera view changes. Climb higher and back flip to the north ledge. Go between
the blocks at the south wall and use the Face Token. The gates at the south
ledge have opened. Jump to the climbable wall, and shimmy around to back flip
to the south ledge. Kill the poisonous creature
that attacks from the open gate. Enter the gate and go south. To the east are
three colorful tiles and a closed gate. Go west and pull up into a crawl space.
Drop on the other side and place the Magic Star in the receptacle. Climb back
out and go east into the open gate.
Enter a room with many columns. Kill a beast and go
to the receptacle in the middle of the south wall. Make the Vin-Yang item and
use it in the receptacle to open the gate in the north-east corner. Enter the
gate and use the Sugary gem to open the second gate. Follow the tunnel and kill
a tiger. At the end, place the Frosties Kid's
Soul in the receptacle. Exit the tunnel and the room and go back to the ledge.
Jump to grab the climbable wall and carefully get down to the ground. Go north
and the gate in the east wall is open. Enter and pull down the wall switch.
Go south-west over the blocks and into the exit
tunnel again. Go west and follow the tunnel to the outside area. Go to the east
wall and hop onto a ledge. Turn to the right and go north to the end. Turn
right again and enter a tunnel to the west. Follow the tunnel and loop around
to the left to go up steps towards two open doors. Enter and slide down a small
slope. Follow the east tunnel to the end and turn left. Slide down a slope and
a gate opens to the west. Enter the gate and the level ends.
