You start
in a room with many large columns. Go north and safety drop into a pit. Go to
the east wall and pull down the wall switch. Two doors open in the south
corners of the room. Pull out the tower from the south-east alcove and push it
behind the column at the east wall. Pull out the tower from the south-west
alcove and push it behind the column at the west wall. A block rises at the
north wall. First go into the south-west alcove and pick up a small medipack. Exit and climb the risen block. Pull
up into the higher room to the north and shoot two dogs.
Go north into the next room and see an obelisk on a
platform in the middle of a pool. Jump there and shoot three
ahmets from this safe position. If you stand on the south-west corner of
the platform, the ahmets can be killed in the south-west corner of the room and
will not interfere with the switch at the west wall. Dive into the water and
swim into a north underwater tunnel. Pick up a small
medipack and continue to surface in the pool near the east wall. Go west
and notice the sphinx with a closed door to the north. Pull down the wall
switch at the west wall. Turn around and go to the east wall and enter the open
gate. Follow the corridor to another room and shoot two
dogs at the top of some stairs. Go up the stairs and get past the
scissors trap.
Follow the corridor to a small room and climb up
onto a block. Pull up onto a higher edge to the east. Follow the corridor and
shoot a dog. Continue down the corridor to a
small room with columns. Continue north into the next tunnel and emerge into an
opening above the sphinx room with the pools. Stand jump to the west and onto
the top of a column. Run and jump to the plain portion of the wall to the west and
grab a crevice. Shimmy a long ways to the left and pull up onto a ledge at the
north wall. Get onto the higher ledge and pull down the wall switch on the
north wall. You get a cut scene of a gate opening.
First go west to the corner ledge and jump south to
the top of a column. Jump south to the top of another column and pick up a large medipack. Safety drop to the floor. You can
notice a closed gate in the north-west corner that needs two items. However,
the gate you just opened is in the north-east corner of the room. Go there and
enter the east corridor. Enter a room with two large statues and shoot an ahmet. Look to the south and see an obvious spike trap
on the floor. Jump to grab the wall ladder on the west wall of the spike trap
and climb to the top. Run and jump to the ledge at the north wall and pick up a
large medipack. Then return to the ledge with
the ladder. Run and jump to the platform to the east. Then jump to the north
platform held by a statue. Run and jump to grab a crevice in the east wall.
Shimmy to the right and pull up onto the upper east ledge. Pull down the wall
switch and get a long flyby showing the open door in the sphinx.
Safety drop to the ground and return to the sphinx
room and the open door. You have to crawl under the door, as the door is only
partially open. Go north and you can see a closed gate in the second left
corridor. Continue north to a pedestal and shoot two
dogs. Enter the room to the west and then hop back to shoot four dogs that run towards you. Enter the west room
again. You can see six large statues and spike traps on the floor. Just inside
the entrance of the room, go left and climb the blocks at the south wall. At
the top, turn to the north and pull up onto a higher platform. Run and jump to
the north-west platform and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of the
open door at the floor below you. Safety drop to the floor and enter the open
door in the west wall.
Follow the tunnel to a ledge overlooking a room
with moveable towers. Safety drop to the floor and you hear gates open. Run to
the north-east corner of the room. Jump onto the blocks and safely shoot the eight dogs that appear from the open gates. Enter the
east gate and follow the tunnel to pick up the Scarab
Moon Talisman from the floor. Exit the tunnel and return to the room.
There is nothing in the west tunnel. Move the two towers onto the tiles at the
sides of the east wall door. The door in the east wall opens. Follow the tunnel
and pull up to the south into another tunnel. Continue climbing up into tunnels
and climb more blocks to reach a narrow room. To your right is a tall moveable
column. Move that column down the corridor to the room to the west. Push the
column onto the tile in the north-east corner. A tower rises from the floor.
Move the tower onto the tile in the south-west corner and the gate opens in the
west wall. Follow the tunnel to the end and jump onto a ledge over the room you
just left below. Use the Scarab Moon Talisman to open the gate in the north
wall.
Enter the tunnel and just follow the tunnel to a
deadly yellow pit. Hop back one tile and stand jump forward to grab the rope.
Use the rope to swing over the yellow pit and into a tunnel. Follow the tunnel
to a room with columns on blocks. Hop onto the closest block and shoot an ahmet. Go to the alcove in the south wall and pick up
another Scarab Moon Talisman from the floor. Go
to the east wall and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of a door opening
near spikes popping from a column. Turn around and look above your head to see
the spikes.
Go west to the entrance room and look to an upper
opening in the south corner wall. Climb the blocks to the end. Climb the ladder
and slide down a slope to jump onto the top of a column. Jump east to another
column. Then stand jump east to grab a crevice. Shimmy to the left and pull up
into an alcove. Run and jump to the north-west column. Time the spikes for a
jump onto a west column. Then jump into the open doors at the north wall.
Follow the corridor to a room with spike traps on the floor. Run and jump
forward to grab the rope. Swing into the north wall alcove and pull down the
wall switch. Stand jump to grab the rope. Swing into the south wall alcove and
pull down the wall switch. Stand jump to grab the rope. Swing into the open doors
at the west wall.
Go west and enter an area with beams above the room below. Jump the beams to reach the
ledge at the north wall. Place the Scarab Moon Talisman and get a cut scene of
doors opening. If you safety drop into the room below, you are back at the
deadly yellow pit. Follow the beams back and use the rope to swing over the
spikes. Enter the next room and you can see the open doors in the south wall.
Be careful of the spikes and jump to a column. Safety drop to the floor and go
west and south to the opening again. Climb the wall and slide again to the top
of a column. Jump up into the south wall doors.
Enter a room with two small statues.
Pull up into the tunnel in the west wall. Climb a ladder and pull up onto a
ledge over the room with the six large statues. Jump the ledges at the north
wall. At the end, just run off a lower ledge to grab a crevice on the west
wall. Shimmy a long way to the left and pull up onto a ledge. Hop on the block
with a wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of doors
opening. Follow the south wall ledges to the open doors.
Go south down some stairs and shoot two dogs. There are four columns in the room.
Go to the south side of the north-west column and pull up. Stand jump to grab
the column to the south and pull up. Run and jump to grab the east column and
pull up. Run and jump to grab the north column and pull up. Run and jump north
to a ledge and finally jump to a ledge at the west wall. Pull down the wall
switch and get an overhead view of blocks descending below two moveable towers
in the room below. Safety drop onto the stairs below. Move the two towers onto
the tiles near the south wall alcove. A block rises in the south wall alcove.
Pull up into the alcove and save the
game. Pull the left switch and get a cut scene of the columns with the spikes.
Pull the right switch and get a cut scene of the column with the spikes
retracted. If you see the spikes, reload the game and try again. Exit the room
back to the ledges. Hop onto the column to the east and run and jump back to
the entrance ledge at the east wall. Go down the ladder and return to the room
with the spiked columns. Jump down onto the closest column and use the ledges
and crevices again to get to the north ledge with the open door.
Stand jump to grab the column that
should have no spikes. Climb up and shimmy to the left and onto the opposite
side. Climb up and pull up into a small room. Run to the south-east and pull up
onto a column. Shoot two ahmets on the floor. There is a small medipack on the floor in a
north alcove. There is a large medipack on the floor in a south alcove. Climb the column again and use
the rope to swing into the upper east alcove. Pull down the wall switch and the
doors in the west wall open. Go west and run up the stairs. At the top, go
south into another long and large room. Climb onto the top of the blocks at the
east wall to pick up Egyptian Star 1. Get down and climb onto the top of the blocks at the west wall
to pick up Egyptian Star 2. Get down and go south. Enter the alcove to fall into a hole and
drop down into water. You drop pass some alcoves that I could not enter.
Get out of the water and go east. Pull
down a wall switch and a gate opens beside you. Exit the gate and go south.
Crawl under the door again to return to the sphinx room. Go west and place the
Egyptian Stars to open the door. Enter the door and go up the steps. Pull up
into the opening in the south wall. Follow the blocks to the top. Safety drop
onto a room. Go to the south-east corner and pick up flares from a ledge. Go to the south-west
corner and pull down a wall switch to open a gate. You get a flyby of the room.
When it stops, shoot the crocodile that is nibbling on your leg. Go west and shoot a crocodile among the rocks before it goes into
the water.
Go north and see a cat statue. There is
a wall switch in the cat statue pit for later. Climb the ladder in the
north-west wall corner behind the cat statue. Pull up onto a ledge and go
south. Use the floor lever and safety drop into the water below. Get out and go
west into the open gate. Follow the corridor to a large room. Shoot two crocodiles on the floor and two crocodiles in a long water
pool. Climb a block to the right of the pool near the room entrance. Pull up
onto the higher top of a column to the west. Run and jump south to a ledge.
Drop and grab the ledge. Shimmy a long way to the left to pull up onto a ledge
at the south wall. Go east and jump to grab another crevice. Shimmy to the left
to another ledge. Jump onto the last ledge and use the floor lever. You get a cut scene of the water pool in the
cat statue room.
Safety drop to the floor and go north
exit the room. Dive into the water and swim into the hole in the floor. Follow
the underwater tunnel and turn around to lure a crocodile back to the pool.
Shoot the crocodile and dive into the underwater tunnel again. Swim into a flooded
room and avoid two crocodiles. Swim up to surface for air. Swim west and pull up into a tunnel.
Turn around and shoot the crocodiles that can also get into the tunnel. Follow
the tunnel to another room with a pool. Shoot two crocodiles in the water.
Jump to the central ledge and hop into
the tunnel in the east wall. Go to the end and pull down a wall switch. You get
a cut scene of a block rising in the corner of the room. Exit the tunnel and go
to the north-west corner to climb the block. Run and jump to the column to the
south. Jump up to grab the crevice in the south wall. Shimmy to the left and
pull onto a ledge. Run and jump to the central platform and pick up the Snake Talisman. Dive into the
water and pull up into the exit tunnel at the north wall. Go to the end and
dive into the water. Swim east to the exit tunnel and pull back up into the cat
statue room.
Go north to the cat statue. Drop into the pit and
go behind the cat statue to pull down a wall switch. The gate opens in the pit
to the front of the cat statue. Follow the tunnel to another room. Use the
Snake Talisman to open the door. Enter the door and run down the stairs to end
the level.
