The Lost City

You start in a tunnel. Go north and ignore a side
branch, which you cannot enter because of the slope. Continue north and slide
down a slope and land in the lost city. Go north to the end of the street and
then go west. At the end you can see closed gates in the south wall. On a north
column is a receptacle. Go behind the column and pick up red shotgun shells. Continue west and go to the
north-west corner. Follow up some steps and enter a small room. There are blue shotgun shells on the block at the north wall.
Shoot the east wall barricade and follow the tunnel to a small room. Go south
and follow the tunnel to a crawl space. Crawl through and emerge onto a roof.
Hop onto a short block and grab a crevice in the
west wall. Shimmy to the left and drop into an alcove. Pick up the Krystal from the floor.
Safety drop into the water to the south. Dive into the water and enter the hole
at the bottom. You are at a T-junction.
Swim to the right and follow the underwater tunnel to a T-junction. The tunnel
has many ups and downs in it. Take the first right branch and follow it until
you see a crawl space in the right side wall. Ignore it and continue to swim to
the west. At the end, swim left, straight and ignore the right side branch,
left and left again into an alcove. Swim up into a small room for air. Pull up
into the room and activate a skeleton. Pick up flares and red shotgun
shells and dive back into the water. Now return to the crawl space and
enter for secret #1. Pick up a large medipack and blue shotgun shells and return to the first room for
air.
Dive back into the water and swim right, right and
take the left branch that you ignored earlier. At the T-junction go straight
and follow the tunnel to the end. Then swim up and surface for air. Pull up
onto a west ledge. Jump over the wateron to an east
ledge. Pull up into a crawl space and drop on the other side. You are in a room
with fires and spike traps. Stand with your back to the east wall. Stand near
the middle of the tile and face west into the room. You can side jump to the
right and over the first fire. Repeat this side jump over the second fire.
Quickly run onto the platform and pick up Artefakt #1.
Quickly hop back before spikes pop up and kill you. You can hop back over the other
spike traps and exit the room by the crawl space.
Dive into the water again and swim back to the
T-junction. This time take the left branch and follow the underwater tunnel to
another T-junction. Take the right branch and follow the tunnel to the end and
swim up. Pull up into a room. Pick up a large medipack and blue shotgun
shells. Back into the water and swim back to the T-junction. This time
go straight and when you come to a T-junction swim to the right branch.
Continue swimming to another T-junction. Swim to the right and then swim up to
surface back where you started.
Pull up and go to the south wall for red shotgun shells. Go east and shoot a wild pig. Continue to the east wall and climb the
blocks. Go north to a ledge and jump east onto the red roof. You can see a
closed gate in a tunnel in the north wall. Slide down the other side of the
roof and into the street. You are back at the start. Go north and west and
place the gem in the receptacle. You get a cut scene of the gate on the red
roof opening. Go up the steps again and return back to the red roof.
Go through the tunnel and emerge onto an opening
over the street. Run and jump to grab the roof to the north just above the
opening. Shimmy to the left and around the corner. Pull up onto the roof for secret #2 and a small medipack. Shimmy back to get above
the opening. Release and grab the lower edge of the opening. Pull up and
go north into a corridor. Pick up a small medipack near the north wall. Go east and enter the
last opening. Run and jump to land on the red roof in the south-east corner.
Jump to the south ledge and enter the building.
Ignore the south side alcove and go east into an
outdoor area. Hop up onto the block to the north and pick up the shotgun. Get down and shoot two
wild pigs. You will be back here later but you still need an item.
Return and enter the south side alcove that you ignored earlier. Pick up flares in the corner and slide down the south slope.
You land on a flat tile next to a fire. Slide down the next slope and jump with
no grab at the bottom of the slope. You clear the top of the next slope and
slide down again. You land on another slope and slide down towards a room with
water. Either you can jump up at the bottom to pull up
onto a column with a fire. Or you can drop into the water and wade to either
the left or right and pull up into an alcove. Turn around and shoot the two crocodiles.
Enter the water and wade to the north wall alcove
to pick up a small medipack.
Then wade to the middle of the room for red shotgun
shells. Then wade to a south wall alcove for red
shotgun shells. Get into the water again and pull up into the tunnel at
the east wall. Follow the short tunnel and climb the ladder. Pull up and pick
up Artefakt #2 from the platform in the middle of the room. Exit
into the tunnel in the south wall. Just follow the tunnels and climb ladders.
At the end slide down a slope and land in a starting tunnel. Slide down the north slope and you are back at the start of the level.
Go north and west again to the steps. Go up the
steps and crawl space to the roof again. Jump to the red roof and through the
open gate again. Jump over the street to the north wall opening. Go east and
jump to the south-east corner roof again. Jump to the south ledge and enter the
building again. Go east and return to the outside area again. Now go north and
down some steps to enter a building. The camera view changes. Go to the
north-east corner and enter a short corridor to pick up a small medipack. Go to the
west wall and place the two items to open the gate.
Enter the gate and go west to shoot two wild pigs. Continue past a blue box and go left to
pick up red shotgun shells. Next to the blue box is a hole. Drop into the
hole and shoot a crocodile. Wait and shoot
another crocodile that appears in the water
trench in the room. Pick up flares in the
south-west corner. Dive into the water trench and swim north. Swim into a west
wall crawl space for secret #3. Pick up red shotgun shells and blue
shotgun shells. Exit and continue swimming north to pull up out of the
water. Go west and you are on a ledge over a deep pit.
Turn to the north and climb down the ladder on the
north side of the ledge. At the bottom, wait and shoot a skeleton into a dark pit in the middle of the room.
Jump over the pit and hop onto the block in the north-west corner. Pick up the Mince (coin) and climb the ladder back to the top of
the ledge. Use either side column to run and jump to the west ledge. Stand jump
over the slope and into the west wall tunnel. Just follow the tunnel and emerge
into another section of the lost city. Shoot a wild pig
that attacks from the north street. Go west and place the Mince in the coin
slot. The gate opens in the dark south-west corner.
Enter the gate and follow the corridors. When the
corridor turns to the north, pick up red shotgun
shells from near the south wall. Continue to follow the corridor to a area with some pits. Shoot a skeleton
into the pit. Jump over the north pit and land on a ledge. Go east and grab a
crevice in the east wall. Shimmy to the left until you can pull up into a crawl
space. Crawl south to stand up on a ledge. Safety drop
to the ground and go into a north alcove for red
shotgun shells. Go south and climb the ladder to a platform. Slide down the west slope and jump into an alcove to pick up
the Krystal. Climb
the north wall ladder. At the top, jump north onto a ledge
for the crossbow and crossbow
normal ammo. Jump back to the top of the ladder. Follow the west
tunnel to a ledge of a pit. Safety drop into the pit and at the bottom, place
the gem into the receptacle. You hear a gate open somewhere.
Jump over the receptacle and slide down into a pit.
Run east and the north to find a pit. Shoot the two
skeletons into the pit. Then jump the pit and go to the end of the west
corridor for a small medipack.
Return to the pit and look south to see a ladder. There is an opening in the
west wall for later. Go to the ladder and then go into the west corridor for red shotgun shells. Go east to the ladder and enter
the south opening. Go to a second south opening to awaken a skeleton. Lure the skeleton north back to the pit and
shoot him into the pit. Go back to the place where the skeleton awoke and look
west for a crawl space. Go inside for secret #4
and pick up two red shotgun shells. Exit and go
north and into the west wall opening that you ignored earlier.
Run up the steps and climb onto a block. Jump down
to the west ledge. Jump into a west wall opening and see a ladder over a spike
trap floor. Jump to grab the ladder and the spikes pop up below you. Climb up
and back flip to a high platform. Go east and shoot a skeleton
off the platform. Go east to run, jump, and grab another ledge. Pull up
and shoot a skeleton off the ledge. Go to the
end and pick up crossbow normal ammo. Jump
across the room and into an opening in the north wall. You may have seen the
skeleton jump there and back to the ledge. Enter the opening and jump into the
hole.
Drop into water and swim north. Avoid the crocodile and swim north to pull up onto the north
ledge. Be careful not to pull up into a fire on the east ledge. Turn around and
shoot the crocodile. Turn around on the north
ledge and enter the crawl space in the north wall. Drop and grab the edge of a
spike pit. Shimmy to the left and pull up into a tunnel. Crawl over a block and
drop into a tunnel. Go north and jump over a spike pit. You emerge into a large
outside area. Go to the north wall and pick up red
shotgun shells in the corner. Go to the south wall and pick up blue shotgun shells in the corner. Go west up to the
top of the hill and wait to shoot four skeletons
into a pit. Go to the north wall for more red shotgun shells.
Jump over the pit and go to the north-west corner.
Go north and enter into an east wall alcove. Quickly retreat to shoot a wild pig. Return to the alcove and climb a block. Go
north and enter a large room as spikes pop up from the floor. You have to reach
the north-east corner of the room. Some spikes will pop up as you approach them
and then the tiles are safe. Other tiles will just pop up and kill you. It is
trail and error. Go slow and save a lot.
Go up the steps and jump the ledges to the south.
Wait on the last ledge and you can shoot two skeletons
off the ledges. On the last ledge, jump up to grab a higher ledge to the east.
Pull up and shoot a skeleton off the ledge. Go
west and north and shoot another skeleton and
pick up blue shotgun shells. Return to the east
ledge again and go to the east end and jump north to a ledge and pick up a large medipack. Jump back
to the lower ledge and go to the west end to run and jump north to land on a
ledge. Run, jump, and grab the column near the north wall.
Pull up to the higher north block. Stand jump to
grab and pull up onto the ledge to the west. Stand jump to the west, slide down
a slope and jump to the corner ledge. Run, jump and grab the ledge to the
south. Hop to the higher south block and go to the end. Jump to the east column
and then to the north-east ledge. Pull up onto the block at the east wall. Then
run and jump north to a ledge. Pull up and enter the tunnel at the east wall. Slide down a few slopes and land on a ledge at an outside
area. Jump off the ledge and run east towards the trees and the level ends.
