author-supplied *.dat files and it worked. [End note]
You start facing a pool in a desert area. Behind
you is a temple with closed doors. Go south beyond the pool to the end and drop
into a pit. Use the floor lever and get a cut scene of blocks rising in front
of the temple doors. Pull up to the east or west side and go north to the
temple. Climb the blocks and pull up into a crawl space. Continue north and
stand up. Go north and drop into a water pit. Follow the underwater tunnel to
the north and swim up a vertical shaft. Pull up out of the hole on the west
side. Go to the dark west wall and pick up flares
from the floor.
There is a closed door in the west wall. There is a
closed door and a receptacle in the east wall. Go north through the open
doorway and into another room. There is a closed door in the west wall. Go
towards the north wall and shoot a bat. Watch
out for small scissors traps on the floor. Go to the north-east corner and pull
back a moveable block from the east wall. The fire will stop before it burns
you. Enter the tunnel behind the block. Enter a room and pick up Falcon Artifact #1 for secret
#1. Go to the dark north-east corner and pick up flares and a small medipack. Exit
back to the room and go to the east wall to pull down the wall switch. You get
a cut scene of a door opening.
Return south to the room and enter the open door in
the west wall. Save the game at this point. Get through the circular slicer and
walk to the end of the tunnel. The circular slicer will stop as you move to the
west. Make sure that the circular slicer stops when it is fully open. If it
stops in the middle you cannot get back. You overlook a dark room. Safety drop
to the floor and go to the west wall. Hop onto a block and then jump onto the
central column. Run and jump to grab a higher ledge on the east wall. Turn
south and jump onto a ledge with a cat statue. Stand jump west onto a column
and pull up onto the higher bridge above you. Go west and reach into the hole
for a large medipack. Go south and reach in to
get a cut scene of spikes dropping on the north bridge. Go east and reach in to
get a cut scene of a door opening. On the north bridge is a star but you need a
crowbar.
Get down to the floor and exit back into the
north-east corner tunnel. Get through the circular slicer again. The circular
slicer had stopped and only started when I got through it. Return to the north
room and enter the open alcove in the west wall. Pull down the wall switch and
get a cut scene of a door opening. Go south to the entrance and light a flare.
The dark block in the trench to the right of the entrance is moveable. Push the
block south and into a room. Then push the block either east or west to reveal
a tunnel. Dive into the water and into a small maze. Swim west and enter the
first left tunnel. Turn to the west and pull down the underwater lever on the
end wall. You get a cut scene of an underwater door opening. Return to the
first tunnel and swim to the left. Follow the tunnel through the open door and
swim up to the surface.
Pull up onto the column to the north-east. Grab the
north wall and climb up. Go north in the tunnel to the open door. Jump onto
either slope and bounce between the slopes with a curve to reach the far end.
Pick up the crowbar from the pedestal. Look
into the trench and see the spikes. You can run and jump over the spikes to
grab the entrance ledge. Go down the ladder and swim back to the tunnel. Follow
the tunnel back to the north room and loop around to the right to enter the
south room. Go west through the circular slicer again. Drop into the room and
climb the columns to get back to the north bridge. Use the crowbar to pry the Sun Talisman from the wall. It does not show in the
inventory. Get back to the floor and go though the circular slicer again.
Go to the east wall and place the Sun Talisman in
the receptacle. The door opens in the west wall. Enter the tunnel and get
through another circular slicer. Continue forward and time a run over the spike
trap. Get through another circular slicer and emerge into a large room with a
column in a water pool. Drop into the room and get a flyby of the area. Go
forward to the water and shoot the south vase for flares.
The north vase has nothing. Go to the north wall and the coffin contains
nothing. Go into the dark north-west corner and press the big button on the
west wall. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Go back to the water pool and
go to the east wall. Go into the dark north-east corner to enter the open door.
Enter the room and shoot a bat.
Pick up flares from the south-west corner. Use
the floor lever in the south-east corner. You hear a door open behind you. Go
to the east wall and enter the open door. Follow the tunnel and drop onto a
bridge over two water pools. Continue into another tunnel to a T-junction. To
the right is a closed door. Turn to the left and enter a room with holes in the
floor. Pull down a jump switch on the west wall and fall into the water below.
You will hear a door open. Swim into the north-east corner and through the open
door. Swim north and notice an upper crawl space in the west wall. There is an
opening above you to the north but that is for later.
Follow the crawl space and pull up into a dark
room. Shoot a bat and a scorpion.
Go south and notice the item behind the closed gate. Enter the west tunnel and
follow it to pick up flares. Push in a dark
block in the east wall into a small room. Go to the north-east corner and pick
up flares. Go behind the block for Falcon Artifact #2 and secret
#2. If you cannot get behind the block, pull it back and push it into
the north-east corner. Return to the tunnel and go south to the end. Use the
floor lever and get a cut scene of a wall dropping. Return to the room where
you entered and hop onto the block in the north-east corner. Run and jump to
grab the column to the south. Pull up and follow the tunnel to the end. Notice
a closed door and pull up into a crawl space in the north wall. Drop on the
other side and go north to press a big button on the north wall. You get a cut
scene of a door opening. Exit back through the crawl space and go west to the
open door.
Hop into the alcove and pull down a jump switch to
open the door beside you. Enter the tunnel and follow it to the end. Climb down
the wall into a lower tunnel. Pick up the Hand of
Orion (called Load) from the pedestal. Climb the wall and back flip into
the upper tunnel. Return through the tunnels to get back to the water hole.
Swim through the crawl space again and swim north and pull up onto a dark
ledge. Place the Hand of Orion in the receptacle and a door opens beside you.
There are small scissors traps on the floor. If you press the big button on the
wall, spikes pop up and kill you. Go behind the east cat statue. Stand with
your back to the south wall and use CTRL. Lara will pick up Imhotep's Key from the back of the cat statue. Get
into the water and swim back to the room with holes. Pull up onto the column
and stand up. Pull up onto the floor with the holes.
Go into the north-east corner and push the moveable
block in the east wall. Push the block into a room and go to one side and push
the block into the bright yellow south-east corner. The door opens beside you.
Enter the door and drop into a room. Pick up the Guardian
Key from the pedestal and exit the room. Return to the room with holes and exit back through the south
tunnel. The far door is still closed. Exit west back to the room with the
bridge and two water pools. Pull up into the west opening and run and jump onto
the column to the south. Enter the alcove and go south to pick up flares. Go north and place the Guardian key in the
receptacle. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Return to the bridge and go
east and south through the open gate.
Go into the south-west alcove. Use Imhotep's Key on
the key lock and side jump to avoid the small scissors trap. You hear a door
open in the south wall. Follow the tunnel and press a big button on the wall to
open the next door. Enter the next dark room. There is a pool with an obelisk
in the middle. Shoot the four empty vases on the blocks and notice a rope
hanging from the ceiling. Dive into the water and swim into the crawl space in
the lower north-east corner. At the end, swim up and pull up into the south
room. Go to the south wall and use the crowbar to open the large door.
Follow the tunnel to a room and the camera view
changes. Follow around the wall to avoid the spike traps in the middle of the
room. Notice the skeleton in front of a block. A large door opens as you
approach. Enter the room and shoot two bats.
Back flip off the north corner slope to jump up onto the central column. Run
and jump to the south wall. Grab the wall and climb up the wall. Pull up into a
dark tunnel. Pick up flares and Falcon Artifact #3 for secret
#3. Exit and back flip over the fire. Get back onto the central column
again. This time run and jump into the west wall opening. There is a fire trap
in the middle of the room. Sprint through the spikes to reduce damage. Pull
down the wall switch on the west wall to remove the spikes. Pull down the wall
switch on the south wall to drop the block at the north wall. Pull down the
north wall switch to open the door in the south wall.
Drop into the room and dive into the water. Swim
into a crawl space in the lower east wall. Follow the crawl space to a flooded
room. Surface for air if you need it. Swim to the north-east corner and use the
underwater lever to open the underwater door in the south-east corner. Swim
there and through a crawl space. Swim into a room and pull up onto a ledge. Use
the floor lever and get a cut scene of the block dropping near the skeleton.
Dive into the water and swim back. Be careful of the fire trap on the floor and
safety drop into the room with the slope. Be careful of the spike traps and
pull back the skeleton on the floor. The door opens in the south wall.
Carefully go into that alcove and pick up the Golden
Vraeus from the pedestal. Exit this room to the north and dive into the
water. Swim back to the room with the rope. I think the proper path is to use
the rope to swing onto the high column at the east wall. Then jump with grab
into the lower east wall alcove. However, you can jump at an angle from a lower
block and grab the edge and pull up into the alcove. Place the Golden Vraeus in
the receptacle. You get a cut scene of blocks rising in the room with the
blocks in the pool. Run and jump to grab the high column to the west. Pull up
and pick up Cartouche Piece 1 (called Load).
Dive into the water and swim to the west. Pull up
and exit into the tunnel in the west wall. Follow the tunnel back to the bridge
and two water pools. Pull up to the west wall and follow the rooms and tunnels
back to the room to see the raised blocks. Dive into the water and use the
underwater lever on the east wall. Get out of the water and go to the
south-east corner. Pick up flares from the dark
floor and hop into the open door. Enter the room and pick up a large medipack and Falcon
Artifact #4 for secret #4. Pull up and
go to the west side of the raised columns. There is a small slope at the bottom
so that you can pull up to the column. I started the climb at the north column.
Jump onto the north ledge and run and jump onto the west yellow-lit ledge. Use
a flare and see a wall switch to the south. Pull down the wall switch and get a
cut scene of an item on a pedestal. Go back to the north wall ledge and jump to
the column. Run and jump to the block with the pedestal and pick up Cartouche Piece 2 (call Load). There are switches in
the other three corners but they seem to do nothing.
Safety drop to the floor and go south. Make the
Cartouche of Sakkara and place it in the receptacle opposite the closed door.
Enter the door and run down the tunnel. Drop into a room and get a cut scene of
a closed door. Go south through the opening and continue south to the closed
door. The door stays closed. Use binoculars and look to the north-west and see
a moveable block. Move the block in front of the door and the door opens. Pull
the block back and enter the open door. Drop into the room and see another
closed door. Turn around and go north. Pull down the wall switch and the door
opens in the south wall. Enter the open door and follow the tunnel to exit at
the top of a pyramid. Start going down the steps of the pyramid and the level
ends.
