You start next to a tent in an outdoors area. To the east is a deep pit. Go to the north-west corner and pull up onto the ledge at the north wall. Follow the ledge around the corner to the end. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of a door opening somewhere. Safety drop to the ground and shoot a snow tiger. Go south and follow the side of the building. Turn to the right and go west to the open door. You can see a receptacle on the wall but you can do nothing here yet.

 

Exit the room and go south into a water trench. Continue into deeper water and swim to a closed gate. Swim up and surface in an outdoor area. Go to the south-west corner and save the game in front of the timed wall switch. The bridges are not breakable tiles. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of the underwater gate opening. Wait until the wall switch resets. Pull down the wall switch, roll, and run over the first bridge and jump onto the second bridge. Stand jump forward into the water hole. Swim down and swim under the gate before it closes. Pick up the Mask from the floor and swim out. Swim north and get out of the water.  Go north back into the room and place the mask in the receptacle on the north wall.

 

The coffin beside you moves to reveal a tunnel below it. Drop into the tunnel and go to the end. Climb down a latter into a pit. There is a closed gate in the north wall. To the left of that is a tunnel in the north wall. Enter the tunnel and see many knife blades. Run and jump diagonally over the first set of knife blades. You see the gate open at the end of the tunnel. Run and jump diagonally again at the second set of knife blades. You will take damage. The end knife blades are too high to hurt you.

 

Enter the room and the gate closes. Go north and get through a crawl space. There is a key lock in the west wall alcove. Go to the east wall alcove and pull down the wall switch. You get a long flyby back to closed gates. Go back through the crawl space and drop into the tunnel in the south-east corner. Time the fire emitters and pick up the Key from the floor. Get back through the fire emitters and the north wall crawl space again. Use the key in the west wall key lock. You hear the gates open. Go into the north wall alcove. Turn around and grab a wall ladder. Climb up and get into a crawl space. Pull up and see more knife blades. Try doing a diagonal south-east sprint where the knife blades have the most clearance when they are open. If you jump, the higher knife blades get you.

 

Go south through the open gates and get into a crawl space. Drop into a hole in the floor in the next cave. Follow the tunnel and an earthquake starts. Pull down the wall switch and get a cut scene of a hole in the floor of the room above. The gate also opens beside you.  Exit the gate and the earthquake stops. Climb the ladder and return to the upper room. Go east to the hole from the cut scene. Safety drop into the room. Go north and stand on a brown tile and see the gate open in the north wall.  If you run onto the wooden floor, the gate will close. Stand jump only on the green tiles and get into the open gate. Pick up the Key from the floor. Exit the room and go to the south-west to enter the open gate. Climb the wall ladder and follow the tunnel. Safety drop back into the room with the coffin. Go south to exit the building.

 

Go east and run past some boxes. Continue past the first building. Go south-east and up some steps and find a locked gate. Use the key and the gate opens. Enter the gate and crushing pillars start to move. Time the jumps past the pillars and get into the south alcove. Pull down the wall switch on the east wall. Go through the open gate to the east behind the crushing pillar. Go to the end of the tunnel and get secret #1 and pick up a Christmas Gift. Exit back to the wall switch.

 

Go into the corridor to the west behind the crushing pillar. You see a closed gate. Enter the north branch tunnel and pull down a jump switch. Return to the now open gate and enter the next room. Pick up a crossbow from the depression in the floor. Go west and enter a large room. Go to the south-east corner and hop onto a block. Climb a wall ladder and slide down onto a balcony. Jump the corner railings to get onto the north balcony. Pick up the Well's Handle from the floor in front of the door. Give yourself full health and jump down to the floor. You need at least half health to survive the drop. Go east to exit the room. Get back through the crushing pillars. Go north to exit back to the outside area.

 

Go west and enter an opening in the west wall. Go south and see the well. Use the well handle on the north side of the well. Quickly turn around and shoot a snow tiger. Go to the south-west corner and pick up a small medipack and crossbow normal ammo. Enter either gate and follow the tunnel to a large room. Go to the north-east corner and pick up crossbow poison ammo from the floor. Drop into the hole in the west wall. Follow the tunnel to a room of fire emitters. Stand on the brown tile at the south wall and see a gate open in the north wall. The are two methods to get to the timed open gate.

 

Method 1: Stand near the north-east corner of the brown tile. Face the north-west and you can see when the fire emitters are going off. Side jump onto the tile to the north-east. Stand jump over the center fire emitter onto the tile to the north-west. Side jump into the open gate. Or quickly turn and stand jump forward into the open gate. Land anywhere else and the gate closes. Also the gate is timed. When you make it inside the open gate there is an earthquake. Exit and jump over the fires again. Pull up out of the tunnel and the earthquake stops.

 

Method 2: Stand jump onto the tile to the north-east. Side jump over the fire center emitter onto the tile to the north-west. Stand jump into the open gate. Land anywhere else and the gate closes. You just have to get lucky when you jump so that the center fire emiter is off. Also the gate is timed. When you make it inside the open gate there is an earthquake. Exit and jump over the fires again. Pull up out of the tunnel and the earthquake stops.

 

Go east back outside to the well. Go west to the boxes and then go north back to the tent at the starting. Continue past the tent to the north. Turn to the right and go east into a building and find an open gate in the north wall. Enter the gate and ignore the wall switch. Enter the room and see a moveable pedestal to your right. There are raised floor sections that prevent you moving the pedestal. Go back and pull down the wall switch. Return to the room and see that different floor sections have been raised and other sections lowered. The procedure is:

 

Move the pedestal north two tiles.

Push up the wall switch.

Move the pedestal west two tiles.

Pull down the wall switch.

Move the pedestal west two tiles and north three tiles into the north-west corner.

Push up the wall switch.

Move the pedestal east five tiles onto the fancy tile in the north-east corner.

 

Exit this room and go out the open gates in the east wall. Shoot two snow tigers. Go west to the pit. Jump over the railings at the north wall and land on a snow column. Drop and grab the column. Shimmy to the left and pull up into a crawl space. Crawl to the end for secret #2 and pick up a Christmas Gift. Drop into the pit and pull up onto the snow column in the north-west corner. Pull up to the west and run back through the north building to go through the east gate again.

 

There is a snowy mound to the south-east of the open gate. Run and jump from that snowy mound to the west to grab the top of a ledge. Pull up onto the ledge and run down to the west.  Pull down the jump switch on the north wall column. Go east again and jump down. Go to the south-east corner and climb the wall ladder on the south wall. Pull up into the open gates. Go south into the dark room and the level ends.
