You start with a flyby showing you a needed item. It ends with you standing on a snowy dock. To the east up the steps there is a closed door with a key lock. To the north-east is a passage ending in a closed gate. Turn around and go to the edge of the water. Run and jump to the dock to the south-west. Run and jump to grab the roof of the building to the north. Stand jump to grab the edge of an upper east wall opening. Pull up and go east to jump onto an awning. Stand with your back at the north wall on the highest part of the awning. Run and jump to the south-east. Use a left curve and grab the lowest part of the roof to the east. This is the building with the key lock. You have a choice of routes.

 

Route 1: Go to the south-east corner of the building. Run and jump with no grab to the south-east and land on the corner of the ledge with the tightrope.

 

Route 2: Go to the south-west corner of the building. Run and jump down to the lower awning to the south-west. Go west to the next awning. Stand jump to grab the edge of the alcove in the west wall. Pull up and do a long tightrope walk across the water. Near the end, jump onto the ledge.

 

Drop on the east side of the ledge and grab the edge. Shimmy to the right and stop at the end. Pull up, back flip, roll, and jump with a left curve to land on a roof. Go north and west and pull down the wall switch in the south-west corner. You get a cut scene of the trap door opening. Jump to grab the sloped roof again and shimmy to the left back to the ledge. Pull up and run and jump to the south-west roof. Go south in an alcove and you can see the open trap door in the east wall. Drop into the hole and fall into water. Pull up to the east ledge. You are in a fireplace.

 

Go east and enter a large room. Look south and see a hole in the floor.  Drop into the hole and pick up flares. Go to the south-east corner and pull down the wall switch on the east wall. Go back to the hole and see that a trap door has been raised and closed the hole. Pull out a moveable block at the west wall. The bookcase behind that block is climbable. First pick up a torch off the floor next to the brazier. Light the torch and carefully light the Christmas tree. You get a cut scene of a door opening at the top of a bookshelf. Also set fire to the logs in the fireplace. You can also set fire to the wall torches on the north and south walls. They are located on the columns with the statue motive. There are four of them. Bu I did not determine if they are necessary to light.

 

Climb the bookcase on the west wall. At the fifth bookshelf from the top, back flip, and land on a chandelier. Pull up and run and jump to the chandelier to the north. Stand jump west into the open doorway. Follow the tunnel to drop into a small room. Pick up a torch by the brazier and light it. You have a choice of routes.

 

Route 1: Hop onto the boxes at the south wall. The camera view changes to show you the other side of the boxes. Save the game and stand at the east wall where it starts to slope downwards. Throw the torch forward and through the gap onto the box on the other side. Return to the chandeliers. Run and jump the chandelier to the south. Run and jump onto the south balcony. Pick up the lit torch from the box.

 

Route 2: If you have trouble throwing the torch through the gap, you can stand jump the ledges back into the tunnel with the lit torch. Return to the chandeliers. Stand jump down to the first chandelier. Run and jump to the chandelier to the south. Then run and jump onto the south balcony.

 

Light the two unlit wall torches. The doors open in the south wall. Enter the room and pick up flares on the floor near the east wall. Go to the west wall and pick up a golden rose Secret for secret #1. Exit the room and jump down to the floor.

 

Climb the bookcase again. At the fifth bookshelf from the top, back flip, and land on a chandelier. Pull up and run and jump to the chandelier to the north. Run and jump onto the north balcony. Press the pushbutton in the north wall and hear Lara's theme music. Go east and pull down the wall switch to the right of the stereo speaker. The doors open in the east wall beside you. Exit onto a balcony. Run and jump into the alcove in the north wall. Pull down the wall switch and the door opens beside you.

 

You enter a room with see a piano. Jump into the window alcove behind the piano and pick up the boathouse key. Get down and go north and pass a harp. Go north and look to your right to see another golden rose outside a bulletproof window. Continue north and follow the stairs to a room with a Christmas tree and presents. Go south and down some stairs. Pull down the wall switch on the south wall and the doors open in the east wall to your left. Exit out the door and go north to reach a canal. Dive into the water and swim to the east. Pull up onto a ledge. Use the boathouse key in the hard-to-see key lock on the south wall. Large doors in the canal open to the east of you.

 

Dive into the water and swim through the open doors. Pull up onto the first ledge to your right and pick up flares. Jump over the canal and enter the east alcove. Pull down the wall switch and a door opens above you. Climb the wall ladder and back flip into a room. The wall switch in the north-east corner closes the door that you entered. Go to the south-west corner. Pull down the wall switch and the doors open. Press the pushbutton in the north-west corner and hear music. You can see a key outside the windows in the south wall. Return to the entrance room and shoot the window in the south wall behind the large table. Run and jump to an awning. Then run and jump to a south balcony. Run and jump to a west balcony. Grab the edge of the roof on the north wall. Do a very long shimmy to the left and around a few corners. Drop onto the balcony with the key. Pick up the library key from the balcony.

 

Jump south onto a ledge. Safety drop on the east side of the ledge. Go south to a canal. Swim east and north to get back to the ladder. Back flip into the room again. Go out the window again. Jump the awning and return to the balcony where you grabbed the roof. This time, jump south-west down into a lower balcony. Safety drop onto the south side into a yard. Approach the closed door in the north wall and it opens to give access back to the canal for later. Go west and shoot the windows of the building. Enter the building and use the library key in the key lock on the south wall. The doors beside you open to reveal a very dark corridor.

 

Enter the doors and follow the corridor east to a dark library. Go to the fireplace in the north wall. Push in a moveable block to the north once. Pull and push the moveable block to the east twice. It must be at the east wall and not in the north wall alcove. Go behind the block and pull down a wall switch on the west wall. A trap door opens and you fall into a hole. Pick up a golden rose Secret for secret #2. Pull up out of the hole and enter the north wall alcove. Climb the wall ladder on the south wall above your head. Back flip into a room with two ledges. Go to the south-east ledge and pick up flares. Pull down the two wall switches on the north wall. With each wall switch is a cut scene of a door opening in the canal. Climb down the ladder back into the library.

 

Go west and north to exit the library. Go north and pull down the wall switch on the east wall to open the north doors. That is for a return trip later. First, go out the east windows and through the small door to the canal.  Dive into the canal and swim to the east. Swim through the two opens doors and swim to the north to pull up onto a dock. This is VIA CARAVELLI from the loading screen. Dive into the water and swim north-west. Pull up into the dock and go north. Shoot the trashcan in the corner and pick up the rusty key. You can follow the dock to the north-east and enter an unlit passageway with a closed door and a pushbutton. Do not touch the pushbutton yet. But remember where it is.

 

Dive into the water and swim south and west back through the two open doors. Swim west and pull up back to the area where you broke the windows. Now go out the north door and notice a snowman. Follow the north-west passageway. Follow to the end and pull down a wall switch. The gate opens beside you in the corner. Go out the gate and follow the passageway back to the starting area. Go up the steps to the east and use the rusty key to open the door. Enter the room and go west to pick up the relay from the floor. This was seen in the initial flyby. Place the relay in the south wall receptacle near it. You get a cut scene of the pushbutton that you did not touch. Notice that the lights are now on in the passageway with the closed door.

 

Exit the room and go west down the steps. Go north and follow the passageway back to the snowman. Go south and east out the broken windows. Dive into the canal and swim east through the two open doors. Swim north and then north-east. Pull up onto the dock. Go into the passageway with the pushbutton. Press the pushbutton and the door opens beside you. Enter the room and climb the wall ladder. About one-third from the top, back flip, roll, and grab the edge of an opening. Pull up and go south and overlook the canal. Run and jump south to grab the edge of a roof. Shimmy to the left, pull up, back flip, and roll to grab a wall ladder. Climb to the top, pull up and back flip onto a balcony. There is a closed door beside you.

 

Run and jump west to grab the edge of the roof. Shimmy to the right and around the corner. Pull up, back flip, roll, and grab the opposite roof edge. Shimmy to the left to the end. Pull up, back flip, roll, and grab the opposite roof edge. Shimmy to the right and around the corner to pull up onto a flat roof. Jump the awnings to the west and finally jump onto a balcony. Go to the north-west corner and pick up a golden rose Secret for secret #3.

 

Dive into the water and swim east and south through the open gate. Swim south and then east through the two open gates. Swim north and return to the pushbutton. Climb the ladder and back flip into the opening gain. Jump to the roof and climb the wall ladder to back flip onto the ledge again. Run and jump to grab the west roof. This time, shimmy to the left about one tile. Pull up and back flip to land on a balcony. Press the pushbutton and the doors open.

 

Enter the next room. Ignore the wall ladder and go south behind the boxes. Press the pushbutton beside the stereo and hear music. Enter the alcove beside the pushbutton and pull down the wall switch. You get a cut scene of a door opening. Exit and now climb down the wall ladder near the room entrance. Enter the open door and hop onto a west box for flares. Go south through a crawl space over the boxes. Drop down on the other side. Just climb the boxes to get to the south wall. Shoot a chest and pick up the roof garden key. Return through the boxes and get back to climb the wall ladder.

 

Back flip into the room above and go south around the boxes again. Go to the middle of the north wall and use the roof garden key in the key lock. The door opens to your left. Step out the door onto the roof garden. It happens to be the roof of the library. Go to the west brick wall and pull out either moveable block. Get into the alcove behind the block and hop up onto a ledge. Light a flare to see and pick up a Secret green talisman. Hop down and exit the alcove and the level ends.
