The Templars Secret (Demo)

Start the level by standing at the backyard of a church while raining. Climb
the south-east stairs to the ledge around and follow it west to the end. By
taking a standing jump to the north wall you should grab an invisible crack and
shimmy right. Pull up onto a small ledge with the hanging bell and jump to the
next ledge, take the medipack and follow it. At the end pull a trapdoor and
drop into the passage, kill a fat rat, reach a closed gate with a switch, but
don't press it. However, push a block next to you into a hidden alcove, then
look for another alcove at the corner. Pick up the Templar Plate, then run down
into the room, kill another rat and pull down a ceiling trapdoor. Pull up to
the higher ledge and pass two moving blocks ahead, and at the room pull the
lever and get a flyby that shows you the inside of the church.
Return to the backyard for entering the church and kill three bats, then
place the templar plate at the altar and get another flyby while a block lowers
west. Enter a water canal but take the north ledge, then shoot the first grate
and look for a closed gate down the passage. Shoot the second grate and go down
the passage, kill a rat then grab the chain and pull up, backflip east onto a
ledge and press the switch. Jump the west ledge for crawling into an alcove and
get the Uzis. Back to the first passage and pass the opened gate, then kill a
rat. Move aside the block for crawling into a short shallow water tunnel and
reach a room with a small pool. At the west alcove throw a switch for opening
an underwater door and jump into the pool. Swim west and find an underwater
lever inside an alcove, pull it and swim through the next opened gate. Pull out
into a room and throw a switch at the north wall to open an underwater gate in
the canal, then go back over there.
Short swimming and pull out, climb up the stairs then throw the switch,
pass the open door and it closes behind you. Go east, collect shotgun ammo,
medipack and clips, then shoot the window and drop into the room, get extra
ammo and the Shotgun. Climb out and go west, trigger two moving blocks, dart
poison, pick up flares between and reach the exit doorway and jump over the
hole. Take one more jump to the west ledge above the pool, then grab the crack
and shimmy left. Pull up into the room and climb up the stairs, then throw the
switch at the north wall to open an underwater gate. Back to the pool and swim
through the south opening gate into a cave and pull out. By throwing the north
switch you emptied the cave and pool. Kill the rat and go back to the empty
pool, find the south-west opened trapdoor and drop down, then follow the east
passage and climb the wall into a tower.
Pull the lever on the block to open a door somewhere, then take a running
jump to the west wall. Pull up and slide down to the dark light flare and climb
up, turn around and find the opened door. Jump over there, kill the bats and
follow up the ledge until the end, then climb the block. Take a standing jump
to the east block and another jump to the next block and collect clips. Reach
the first block again, this time jump south, grab the crack in the next block
and shimmy right, drop between the bamboo fence. By entering the next room you
get a very short flyby that ends this demo.

Portugal Demo
You start in the courtyard of a deserted fortress in the rain. Notice that
you have the crowbar in your inventory. There is a closed door in the west
wall. Go south and run up the steps to the upper ledge. Go west to the end of
the ledge. Run and jump to grab an invisible crevice on the north wall. Shimmy
around the corners and pull up on the ledge with the bell. Run and jump
north-west onto the other ledge and pick up a small
medipack. Follow the ledge east and south to find a trap door. Pull open
the trap door and drop into a dark tunnel.
Go north and shoot a huge rat. Follow the
tunnel and go up a ramp to a closed gate. Turn to the right and do not push the
button on the alcove wall. Instead push a moveable block to the north. Follow
the tunnel to get to the back of the closed gate. Enter the alcove and pick up
the Templar Plate. Go west into a small room
and shoot a rat. Pull down a ceiling trap door
and pull up south into a tunnel. Run past two crushing pillars. Climb the chain
and back flip into a room. Use the floor lever and get a cut scene of the door
opening in the courtyard and a flyby of the interior. Drop into the tunnel and
get past the crushing pillars. Follow the tunnels and pull up through the trap
door back into the starting area.
Safety drop to the ground. Go west across the courtyard and through the
open door. Go west and pick up Uzi ammo from
behind the angled bench. Shoot a bat that
appears. Go west up the steps to the platform and shoot four bats. Stand on the platform and place the Templar Plate on the
east side of the pedestal. You get a short flyby of a block lowering in the
west wall. Enter the next room and see a water trench with a closed gate at the
end. There are two grates in the north wall. Ignore the first closest grate
since a gate closes that tunnel. Shoot the second further grate and follow the
tunnel onto a ledge. Shoot a rat in the room
below you.
Ignore the chains and just run and jump to grab the upper east wall ledge.
Pull up and crawl to the end of the east wall tunnel to pick up the Uzi's. Crawl back and run and jump to the west wall
ledge. Go to the south-west corner and press the button on the west wall. You
get a cut scene of a gate opening. Get down and exit this room. Go east and
shoot the first grate. Follow the tunnel to the end and through the newly open
gate. Enter the room and shoot a rat. Push the
block at the north wall to one side to reveal a lower crawl space.
Crawl through the crawl space and then through a water filled crawl space.
Stand up at the end and the camera view changes. If you fall into the water,
swim to the south-east corner to pull out. Cross the wooden bridge and enter an
alcove. Pull down the wall switch and hear a door open. Dive into the water and
swim west and south into the open door. Pull down an underwater lever on the
wall. Swim out and loop around to the left to enter another open gate. Swim
inside and up a vertical shaft to surface for air.
Pull up into a small room. You see steps at the north wall and a fence to
the south. Go up the steps to the top and pull down a wall switch on the north
wall. You get a cut scene of the underwater gate opening in the water trench
from earlier. Drop into the water and swim back. Crawl through the water filled
crawl space again. Go up the steps to the water trench room. Go west and dive
into the water. Swim through the gate and follow the short underwater tunnel. Pull
up to the east at the bottom of some steps. Run to the top and pull down a wall
switch to open the door to your left. Enter the open door and the door closes
behind you.
Go east and pick up large medipack. Enter
the east wall alcove and pick up Uzi ammo. Shoot
the window in the east alcove. Drop into the room and pick up two red shotgun shells, two blue shotgun shells, and
the shotgun. Exit and go west to pick up red shotgun shells. Go west and be careful of wall
darts. Get pass the first crushing pillar. Pick up flares
from the floor near the north wall. Get pass the second crushing pillar. Go
west and jump over the fire pit to land in an opening.
Ahead of you is a small partially flooded room. Run and jump west to land
on a ledge. Grab the west wall crevice and shimmy to the left. Pull up onto a
ledge and go west and north to the top of steps. Push the button on the north
wall. You get a cut scene of an underwater gate opening.
Dive into the water and swim into the south wall tunnel. Surface in a
small room. Pull up onto a ledge to the west. Go to the north-west corner tile.
Turn around and the water is gone. Safety drop into the dry room and shoot a rat. Go north through the dry tunnel and drop onto
the floor grates. Drop into the hole in the south-west corner. You land under
the floor grates. Go to the north-east corner. Enter the tunnel to shoot a rat. Follow the tunnel to the end and climb the south
wall. At the top, pull up onto a block with a floor lever.
Use the floor lever and hear a gate open. This is followed by a
pitch-black flyby. Stand jump to grab an opening in the upper west wall. Climb
the blocks and turn around. Jump to the east to grab an upper ledge. Pull up
and go through the open door. Shoot a bat and
follow the ramp to your right. At the top, stop before a hole and shoot two bats. Pull up onto an east column. Jump to grab
and pull up to another east column. Jump to grab and pull up onto a south
column for Uzi ammo. Run off the column to the
west and grab the crevice in the next column. Shimmy around two corners to the
opposite side. Safety drop behind a fence. Run west towards a large partially
flooded room. Run onto a bridge. There is a short flyby of the room and the
level ends.
