Level 1: Judaej
You start in a courtyard. Go south-west and through the opening in the west wall. Shoot three scorpions in the new area. Go to the south-west and enter the right archway. Pull down a jump switch on the north wall. Exit this archway and enter the other archway where a door has opened. Follow the corridor and enter a room with a television. Shoot the picture in the north wall to reveal an alcove. Hop up there and pull down the wall switch. Get out and go south-west into another room. A ceiling trap door has opened. Climb up into the upper room and pick up a laser sight off the floor. You can pull back the bed but I did not find anything. Exit this room and return to the starting courtyard.
Whenever Lara picks up something, I heard a scraping noise. I do not know why.
Go to the east wall to a small bush between two sloped blocks. Crouch and shoot the bottom wall behind the bush. Enter the crawl space and stand up. Follow the corridor up steps to a room. You can do nothing here yet. But notice the fire has started in the fireplace. Exit through the crawl space and back to the starting courtyard.
Run north-east through a small opening in the corner wall. You enter another open area. Notice the circular blue building to the left. Go north to the first small section of tress. Go east into a building. Hop onto a back ledge and pick up revolver ammo. Continue north and find a small bush near the rocks at the east wall. Go there and shoot five snakes. Go north of the small bush and see an alcove behind the rocks of the wall. Save the game. Run and jump south-east behind the rocks to land on the far tile. Pick up Guardian Key #1 from the tile. Roll and run and jump out of the alcove before spikes pop up from the floor. The time is very short. Go to the north-east corner behind a palm tree. Follow a corridor to the end and pick up a small medipack. Exit back to the area with the small bush.
Go south and go between two fences to enter another area with steps. Pull back a block from the corner near the bottom of the steps. Enter a room with knife blades. Run and jump over the south wall blades to land in a safe area. Stand jump to the north over the next blades. Open the coffin and pick up the Ra Cartouche. Return through the knife blades to exit this room. Go between the fences and return to the blue building area.
Go north-west around the blue building. Go to the corner and enter the opening near a dry water trough. Go east past the flowing water to find a green receptacle tile on the wall behind a small bush. Place the Ra Cartouche in that receptacle. A trap door opens in the water trench beside you. Dive into the water and immediately get out again. Stand at the edge of the water trench and patiently shoot three snakes in the water. Dive into the water and swim to the north-west corner. Pull down an underwater lever and exit the water. A wall has dropped in the north building. Enter the building and hop onto the east wall ledge. Go east and down the steps. Search the north-east corner of the room and pick up a torch. Ther are spare torches on the floor. Exit the room and go south to the starting courtyard.
Throw the torch through the east wall crawl space. Get inside and pick it up to throw again into the corridor if necessary. Pick up the torch and light the torch in the fireplace. Be careful as Lara stands in the fireplace to light the torch. Exit the room and throw the torch through the crawl space again and back into the starting courtyard.
Pick up the lit torch and go north through the opening again. Continue north and through the fences in the north wall. Continue north to a building with blue doors. The left blue doors do not open. Drop the torch and push open the right blue doors. Pick up the torch and enter the room. Light the two wall lamps on the east and west walls next to small tables. Drop the torch and go to the north-west corner and through the open door into a small room. Pick up the Horseman's Gem off the pedestal. Exit this room and the building. Go west and then south and pick up flares off the ground. Now exit this area and return to the area with the blue building.
Go left and south-west of the blue building. You should find an opening in the west wall. Enter the follow the corridor. You should enter a room with a checkered floor. There is a deadly water trench at the south wall. Go west and into a north wall corner alcove. Place the Horseman's Gem in the receptacle. Exit the alcove and the water is now safe. Dive in and swim west through a crawl space. Swim to the right and right again and pull down an underwater lever on the wall. Swim back and exit the water. Notice a pole has risen at the east side of the room. Climb the pole, face north-west, and back flip onto a ledge. Pick up a large medipack off the ledge. Run and jump onto a steaming ledge to the west. Continue to jump onto a ledge in the north-west corner. Pull up to the east into a small room. Pick up the Gate Key off the floor. You get a cut scene of a closed door. Safety drop to the floor. Exit this room and return to the blue building area.
Go north-west behind the blue building. You see a fountain and a hut on pillars. Go south into an alcove behind a palm tree. Pick up a small medipack and shoot two snakes. Go north to the area north of the fountain. Enter another area and shoot three scorpions. Go north-west and find the door from the cut scene. Use the Gate Key and the door opens. Follow the corridor to a small room. Go to the south corner and open a blue door. You enter a small storage room. Go south and open a second blue door.
You enter a large storage room. Go down the steps and pull up into a crawl space between the west wall boxes. Pull up to the right side or Lara does not grab the crawl space edge. Drop on the other side and turn around. Pull down the jump switch on the west wall. Now run north down the slope and turn the corner to avoid two rolling spike balls. Go up the ramp and see that a gate has opened. Stand in the east wall alcove with the wall lamp. Stand jump with grab to glide into the west wall opening above the gate. Go south-west and pick up the crowbar off the floor. Get out of this room and go west. Use the crowbar to open a crate door in the south wall. Drop into the room and pick up the revolver off the floor. Exit these storage rooms and return to the fountain.
Go south and stay to the right of the hut on the pillars. Go west into an alcove and see a closed gate. Use the revolver and laser sight to shoot the lock at the top of the gate. The gate opens. Hop onto the ledge and enter a new area. Go south and go up the steps at the south wall. Turn around and stand jump to grab a north ledge. Pull up and pull down the wall switch on the west wall. Safety drop to the ground.
Go north-east and follow the short tunnel. Shoot a dog and continue south pass the open door in the west wall. Continue to some steps and shoot another dog. Now return to the open door and enter the room. Open a small blue door. Enter another small room. Push the bed to the east to reveal a crawl space in the wall. Enter and crawl until you can stand. Use a flare and follow the tunnel to the left and then to the right. Save the game. You are on a ledge over a pit. Three fire wraiths start to attack. Run of the ledge to the north and land in water pit to extinguish the fire wraiths.
Pull up onto a ledge in the north-east corner. Climb the wall ladder back to the top where you jumped off. Go west to the wall and grab the side of the ledge. Drop to grab a crevice. Shimmy and release to grab lower crevices until you reach a crawl space. Crawl through to a room with popping spike traps. Go to west side and save the game. Stand with your nose on a column. Back flip onto the spike trap and jump forward to grab a column. Pull up and pull down a wall switch. Repeat for a second wall switch and column at the east side. Crawl back out and safety drop into the water.
Swim to the south-east corner. Pull up into the south wall alcove. Enter the open gate. Go to the west wall and open the coffin to get Guardian Key #2. Exit the room back to the water. Go to the north-east corner and climb the ladder again. Go straight north to find the entrance tunnel. Follow the tunnel and crawl space back to the room with the bed. Exit the rooms and return to the blue building. Go to the north side and place the two guardian keys to open the door. Enter the building and the level changes.
Level 2: Judaes
You start inside a building. In front of you is a large platform with pillars supporting a structure. Go to the west wall and enter a corridor. Go to the right and up a ramp. Go south and pick up a Guardian Key from the balcony floor. Go down the ramp and see a closed door. Use the crowbar to open a door. Enter the tunnel and place the Guardian Key in the receptacle. A trap door opens in the floor beside you. Drop into the hole and run down the steps. Before the section where the steps stop, look up at the west wall. You should see a grid in the upper wall. Shoot that grid and pull up into a crawl space.
You drop into a dark room. Pick up a small medipack from the floor at the south wall. Go west to find blue shotgun shells. Go east to find the shotgun on a short ledge. Pull up to higher north ledge to get a large medipack and red shotgun shells. Get out of the room. Continue down the steps. Enter a dark room and shoot two SAS. Go to the south-west corner and a door opens as you approach. Save the game before you enter the room.
Look into the room and you can see an alcove to the right and a closed door. You can see a bright tile to the left. Enter the room and loop around to the right. Pull down a jump switch on the north wall as a sentry gun shoots at you. Exit the alcove and enter the open door in the west wall. Go south and pick up a small medipack off the floor. Go north and save the game in front of a timed wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and exit the room. Hop onto the timed raised block in front of the sentry gun. Pull up into a higher tunnel above the sentry gun. Be careful of a hole and run to the end of the tunnel to pick up revolver ammo. Now drop into the hole. You are behind the sentry gun. Use the revolver and laser sight to blow up the sentry gun. Pull up into the tunnel again and drop back into the room.
Pull down the jump switch on the east wall to drop the wall beside you. The wall just looks like a door. Wait and shoot the two SAS that emerge from the opening. Enter the opening and turn to the left to pick up crossbow explosive ammo. Go east and the east wall drops before you. Sprint east and through a spike trap and take a lot of damage. Pick up the crossbow from the floor. Pull down a wall switch to raise the door beside you. Enter the next room and shoot two SAS. Go east and enter another room. Use the explosive ammo to destroy two skeletons. Wait until they are close so that you only need one shot.
Back flip onto the sloped block and jump forward to grab a higher ledge. Go forward to pull down a wall switch. Safety drop to the floor and enter the open gate in the east wall. Go east behind a column and pick up crossbow explosive ammo off the floor. Look on top of the column and see an urn. In the north-west corner of the room is a ramp leading up to that urn. You may want to go there now and learn the route. You will need it later. Go south-east and follow the corridor to a wide area. Do not go north, as there is a spike trap there now. To the east is the large vase that you see when the screen reloads. Go east and use the crowbar to open the south-east corner door. Enter the room and loop around to the left. Use the crowbar to remove Golden Star #1 from the wall. Exit the room and loop around to the left to enter the newly open gate.
You get a cut scene of the urn on the column. A wraith starts to attack. Exit the room and follow the corridor back to the entrance room. Go to the north-west corner and go up the ramp. Crouch at the back of the urn and the wraith will eventually explode. There is also a closed gate in the south-east corner of this room. Exit this area and return to the room where the wraith started to attack. Go up the ramp to a room with two wall ladders. One ladder is blocked by a trap door. Climb the north-east wall ladder. Back flip and roll to grab a ledge and pull up. Stand jump to the south-east and use grab to glide into an alcove. Run and jump to the west to grab a ledge and pull up. Use the light from the binoculars to see where to go.
Enter the tunnel and save the game. Stand jump north over the spike trap to land on a slope. Jump forward to grab a ledge and pull up. Go east and you are above the trap door on the ladder that has dropped. Run and jump onto the far east ledge and pick up a large medipack. Return to the ladder and jump to grab it. Climb up, back flip, and roll to grab a ledge. Pull up and shoot a skeleton off the ledge. Go to the middle of the north wall and look for a jump switch in an alcove. Pull down that jump switch and fall to the floor below. Jump to grab the ladder again. Climb up, back flip, and roll to grab the ledge again. Go east to the newly open gate. Enter the room and pry Golden Star #2 off the north wall. Exit this room and run and jump to grab the ladder. Climb down to the floor. Exit this room and follow the ramp back to the room with the large vase.
Enter the north-west alcove and pull down the wall switch. Exit this room and loop around to the right. Go north and see that ceiling trap doors have dropped. Jump up to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing north over the spike trap. At the end, release and grab a ledge and pull up. Go to the left and follow the tunnel to pick up flares. Return to the ledge and safety drop to the floor. The spikes are gone. Go to the left and loop around to find a wall switch. Pull down the wall switch and go east to enter the newly open door.
Enter the corridor and shoot a vase for revolver ammo. Go north into an alcove. Go up the ramp and a door opens in front of you. You enter a room with a water pool. Jump over the fence behind the pool and pick up a small medipack. Jump back to the other side of the pool. Use the revolver and laser sight to shoot the large vase in the pool. A trap door opens in the pool floor. Dive into the open trap door. Swim into the south-west corner and pick up a small medipack. Return to get air. Dive again and swim south and follow the tunnel. Ignore the trap door on the ceiling and follow the tunnel. At the end, swim up and pull an underwater lever. You get a cut scene of a trap door opening. There is still a closed trap door above your head. Swim back up and through the first trap door and surface for air.
Pull up into a small room. There are two moveable globes and two empty alcoves. Move the north-east globe into the south-west alcove. You get a cut scene of a closed underwater door. Move the south-east globe into the north-west alcove. Swim back to the pool. Swim north and follow the underwater tunnel to find the open underwater door. Swim north behind a column and down to pull down an underwater lever. Swim out and up in the south-east corner and surface through the open trap door. Pull up into a dark room. Go into the north-east corner and pry Golden Star #3 off the wall.
Go to the south-west corner of this room. Follow the corridor and see steps leading up to a closed door. Pull up into an upper east wall alcove at the bottom of the steps. Stand at the left wall and jump up to grab the ceiling. Monkey swing south over a spike trap. Drop and pull down a wall switch. You hear a door open. Grab the ceiling and monkey swing back. Go up the steps and through the open door.
Go south into the corridor. Quickly turn around and run down the steps to the pool to extinguish three fire wraiths. Go up the steps and be careful of fire emitters in the south corridor. Go to the end and enter an open gate. Go west and south to find a closed gate. Go east and north and shoot the vase on a ledge. Return to the newly open gate and enter. A wraith starts to follow you. Go east and run off a ledge. You are back at the room with the large vase. Go west and follow the corridor up the ramp to the large urn. Crouch behind the urn to get rid of the wraith. Return to the room with the large vase.
Go north down the ramp to the room with the pool. Go up the steps and down the south corridor. The fire emitters are off. Enter the gate and go to the next gate. This time go south and hop onto a ledge. Pull down a trap door fro the ceiling. Pull up into the upper room on the south side. Stand jump south-east into the corner and over a spike trap. Pick up a small medipack. Stand jump north into an alcove. Pull down the jump switch on the west wall. A trap door drops open beside you.
Back flip onto the slope below the trap door. Jump forward to grab an upper south ledge. Pull up and follow the ramp to the top. Pick up a torch off the floor. Notice a closed trap door above your head. Take the torch and return to the trap door. Jump down backwards and jump between the slopes with a curve to reach a safe place. Jump over the spike trap if necessary. Drop into the entrance trap door. Go east and drop into the room with the large vase. A gate has opened behind the large vase. Enter the gate and drop the torch.
Use the crowbar to open the door in the east wall. Step back and run north and west as a skeleton chases you. You waken another skeleton. Use explosive ammo to destroy the two skeletons. Return to the open door and enter the alcove. Pull down a wall switch and get a cut scene of a door opening somewhere. Exit and pick up the torch again. Go north and see a wall lamp that needs a light. Go west and stand jump the blocks in the south-west corner. Destroy another skeleton and pick up a small medipack. Enter the open door in the south wall. Drop into a room and pry Golden Star #4 off the side of a block.
Bring the torch with you. Stand jump onto the block. Stand jump into an east wall opening. Stand jump over a fire pit. Follow the tunnel to a hole. Throw the torch over the hole. Then jump over the hole. I could not jump holding the torch. Pick up the torch and light the torch on the wall lamp. Return and drop into the hole. Go north and light the wall lamp. A gate opens in the alcove beside you. Bring the torch and follow the tunnel to a large room. Go south and east behind the building. Climb a south wall ladder and back flip onto the roof of the building.
Go west and jump over the room onto a south-west ledge. Enter the alcove and pry Golden Star #5 off the wall. Jump back to the roof. Run and jump onto a north-west ledge. Enter the alcove and use the floor lever. A door opens in the building below. Safety drop to the ground and enter the building. Drop into the water and swim west. Pull down an underwater lever and swim back. Exit the building and pick up the torch. Carefully light the brazier on the pedestal near the bull statues. Drop the torch and run back to the water to extinguish a fire wraith. The fire wraith gave me problems. It would only extinguish if I swam back to the underwater lever. Staying near the water hole would not work.
Return to the room and go through the open fence in the north. You see a structure with a closed door. Climb the structure and place the five golden stars in the five receptacles. The door opens at the front of the structure. Enter the structure and run up the ramp. As you approach the alter, the level ends.
