[Notes]

1. This is a TR2 level. Although called The Lost Kai-Len Monastery Demo Level, the load/save passport shows The Mine.

2. The executable file is called The Lost Kai-Len Monastery.exe

3. When you die and load a savegame, the game crashes. Start the game again and then load a savegame and it works OK.

Slide down the slope and stop on a flat area. Slide down another slope and land in some water. Pull out and go to the right. A thug and a monk are fighting. The thug will win. Kill the thug and pick up a small medipack and Uzi Clips from his body. You see a key lock on the wall. Go in the other direction and shoot a thug and a vulture. Go into the far back corner and pull out a moveable block. Enter the tunnel and see a roller blade. Ignore it since it did not move. Go down the tunnel and jump over two knife blades. You land in a flooded room.

Swim into the underwater tunnel in one wall. Follow the tunnel to a pool. Put up on the ledge to shoot the three mermaids. Press two pushbuttons, one each on the side wall of both long ledges. The large underwater doors open in the pool. Swim into a trench at the bottom of the pool and pick up the Harpoon Gun and many harpoons. Swim through the open doors to the back of the tunnel. Pick up a key (K4) and swim back onto a ledge.

Go towards the closed gate in the corner and the gate opens. Outside, thugs and monks are fighting. The monks lose again. Jump down and shoot the two thugs. Use the key in the key lock and a trap door opens besides you. Drop into the water. You can see mermaids swimming near an item in the next pool. I could not get there. Swim straight and up into another hole in the ceiling and pull up into a room. Thugs and monks are fighting in the room next to you. Move forward and the level ends.

The level is short, but it is a demo.
