Finding a Way into the Sewers

Shoot the box in front of you to get the Crowbar, then use it on the wooden door left of the keyhole. Get down the stairs in the little chamber – go right around the corner to shoot a barrel for Home Key. Go back outside and use the key to your left to open the door beside you. Head upstairs and then left to see a wall lever; use it to open a trapdoor in the room where you have found the key. Turn and see a button on the opposite wall – note it for later. Get back to the other chamber with the opened trapdoor and climb down the ladder.

The Sewers

Turn and go left. A Little Medikit awaits you in a corner, so pick it up, then head back and now go in the right part of the sewers. Find a passage to your right and soon you enter a pool room. You can search the different platforms for Flares and a Large Medikit, but the main task is to raise a trapdoor to the right of the entrance to make the floor lever accessible. To achieve that, jump to the platform with the lever, then to the left one and into the door. Run through the corridor (the door closes behind you) and pull the lever to raise the platform. Slide down and you are back in the first sewer area. Make your way back to the water room and run over to the trapdoor, thereon push the floor lever. A cutscene shows you an underwater door opening, so jump in and pick up Revolver Ammo first, then follow the corridor until you reach a little maze. Not hard to solve – dead ends are visible from the junction, so climb out at the end and directly jump on the box in front of you to kill two dogs. Now search the room for Flares on some boxes and a Little Medikit in the NE corner. Get up one of the two stairways to the top and push two buttons jumping over the boxes.

A door in the first sewer area opens so jump back in the water and swim to the water room again, then climb up the ledges (starting on the S platform, then jumping up to the next stage) picking up the goodies if you haven’t done yet and using one of the two exits to get back to the first sewer area. Find the open door and head through the passage. In the next room kill a rat and find another entrance to a little room. Pull out the left box twice, then go around it and push it once, then out of the chamber. The trapdoor in the room opens so get down and shoot another dog. Get through the tunnel and arrive at a trap room. The water in this room is deadly so always watch out. Get down and use the platforms to get to the opposite wall. Push the button and get back over the platforms, then climb up again and turn. Time your jump with the swinging blades and the burners and stop at the rear edge of the burner platform, then run-jump again with good timing to the second burner ledge and with the same technique to the open door.

Get in the next room with few boxes and a wooden door which you can open with the Crowbar. But a closed trapdoor still blocks the way, so pull away the left hand boxes so that you can reach the corner where a button is located. Push it and the trapdoor opens. Now get back to the room where you pushed the block out of the room and now pull it on the marked tile. The door in this room opens so get through and kill two rats in the corridor. Run to its end, turn and climb the ladder to the top. Run to the end of the passage ignoring the left exit and push the button behind the pillar to open a door somewhere. Now return and go right into the town.

First Mansion

There are many ways to go, but first of all head to the opposite wall to enter the building. You can find the door you have opened few moments before, after entering it closes behind you. Run through the passage until you reach a living room. Get up the left stairway to the top and find a Factory Key on the balcony’s end. Jump down and now get in the right passage, at the end you reach a pool room. Jump in the water and pick up Crossbow Normal Ammo. Get out and head into the S passage, you can find two passages and two levers here. Pull down both to raise some nearby blocks, then climb in both passages to find a movable statue at the end. Push them both all the way on the raised blocks and then pull both levers up again. Place the statues on the marked tiles to see a door open. Return to the living room and go up the left stairway to find the open door. Pull down the lever at the end of the balcony which succeeds the corridor. The entrance door opens so head back outside. Get outside again and follow the NW passage.

The Factory

Kill a dog on your way. Follow the street to the very end and place the Factory Key to open the door. Shoot a worker in the passage and at the end another rat. Pick up Flares from a box, get down and open the W door. Kill another worker in the passage, at the end you reach another swinging blade room. Get down the left ladder and jump in the water. Find a Little Medikit in the far right corner, then climb up the nearest S box to pull a lever. This one is timed though; turn, run-jump to the left box, then do a sidejump to the right one, then another run-jump to the one in the right corner, turn until you can grab the ladder and climb up (you have to stand a bit behind the edge so you can grab it), then time your jumps with the blades and jump into the left hand door. Note the button you cannot press yet and the statue and climb up the right box, picking up Shotgun Normal Ammo. Get down again and now push the statue beneath the ceiling tile in the center of the room. You hear a whirring noise signifying the raising of the button cover, so press the button for a cut scene showing another button cover being raised. Now save your game and push the statue out of the room, into the corridor and over the edge so that it falls into the pool.

SECRET 1: If the statue landed on the marked tile in the pool, the underwater door in the corner where you found the medikit will be open. Head through and get Shotgun Normal Ammo, a Large Medikit and Revolver Ammo.

Now head back to the first area of the factory. Go to the SW slope and jump backwards on it, then forwards to the ladder. Grab it and climb up to its top. Jump up the boxes and shoot the lattice to your right, then jump in the alcove (using the box which is near the alcove wall) and push the button. A door in the room below has opened so head through and kill a worker in the crane room after avoiding the burner in the passage. Jump down to the floor and find a N water passage. Get down there, avoid the circle blade and climb up into the next room. Shatter the far left box for Shotgun Wideshot Ammo. Shoot the wood and get into the passage behind, thereon kill the rat. Avoid the burner and jump over the deadly gap timing it with the blade. Climb into the left crawlspace, get Grenade Flash Ammo and push the 1st button. You get a little cutscene of a still closed door.

Get out again and go ahead, then right and jump over a deadly gap. Go left to kill a worker. Open the right hand door to get in another box room. Push the more brighter box away to reveal the 2nd button. Push this one to see another screenshot of the door, still closed. Go out of the room, then left and to the end of the passage. There, head left, avoid the burner and jump over the blade gap. Go left around the corner, get in the crawlspace and push the 3rd button at the end (next screen of closed door). Get back, now head left when getting to the junction. Climb over the block, the next blade awaits you, shoot the two gratings for creating a crawlspace to your right and get through. Climb over a box and avoid the next blade-gap trap combination by jumping in the corridor on the other side, push the 4th button with door screen at the end. Get back and jump to the right ledge, again it’s a junction. Go right and sidejump through the circle blade, then push the 5th button (door opens). Get back jumping through the blade.

Now make your way back over the corridor ahead, you are back at the start of the crawlspace you have shot. Return now all the way to the passage with the (open) door. Now run to its end and jump over the gap with the blade. Here you can find the door, run through the corridor and push the button to see a block being moved in the crane room. Return all the way through the maze there, jump in the water and climb out at the end. Climb the W boxes and jump N to the balcony. Climb up and jump to the moved box, then in the passage. Kill the dog and pick up the Bunch of Keys at the end. Return, jump to the exit balcony and get back all the way into the room where you pushed the statue in the water. Get once more through the blade traps and open the door at the end with the keys.

Pull and push the statue in the corridor and to its end to open the trapdoor, killing the rat first. Get down the ladder and follow the tunnel. Jump in the water and get into the next room with two corpses. Open the underwater door yourself at the other side and avoid the next circle blade. In the next room swim left and pull the underwater lever to open the door right. Climb out and kill the worker, then push the left button to open a trapdoor further in the corridor. Climb out and you will get to a well-known place. Get out of this chamber and head right into the town again.

Second Mansion

Go right and run again in the NW passage. A door has opened on the way so get in and go left in the corridor.

SECRET 2: Before going into it turn left of it. There is a cabinet in the corner. Get to the left side of it, get to the crevice and shimmy right to find and push a lever. Get back and now go into the passage, to the junction, then turn left and get Shotgun Normal and Wideshot Ammo and a Little Medikit. Now get out.

Go to the end of the passage and climb the right boxes to push a button. Now look on the opposite wall to see a grating – shoot it and get in the crawlspace, at the end you can pull a lever after climbing over the box. Get back in the corridor – the left door is open, but don’t go in yet. First, get back to the last room, then left and follow the passage in another room. Shoot the box in a corner to get the Warehouse Key. Now head back in the passage and go into the right room. You are in the room at the very beginning of the level. Find and push the timed button on the far right corner. Now run back to the junction, head right and climb the block, turn left and jump up in the new chamber. Shoot the S window and jump to the platform with the button. Pushing it opens the door beside the timed button.

SECRET 3: Turn NE and run-jump to the ledge. It’s a quite hard jump, but possible to do. Get Grenade Normal Ammo and back to the button ledge.

Drop in the courtyard, kill a rat and enter the mansion again. Go left and see the open door. In the passage open the wooden door using the Crowbar. At the end of the passage open the door to enter a new courtyard.

Courtyards

Get in the right alcove for Uzi Ammo. Open the N door with the Warehouse Key. Kill a worker and open the right hand trapdoor. Get down the ladder into the sewers. Shoot the rat on the bridge and jump in the S pool. Follow the S passage to get a Large Medikit on the boxes and Flares in the corner. Push in the left block and shoot the sign on the wall. Get back into the pool and climb out on the bridge. Open the door and kill a worker. Push the now accessible button on the wall to make the water flow in the right pool. Jump in it and pull the underwater lever to open a door somewhere. Climb up the long ladder again and run up the corridor which can be accessed through this little chamber. Shoot a dog at the end and pull out the only movable block in this room. Now pull and push it out in the corridor and out of the window. It falls in the courtyard.

SECRET 4: Before jumping down hang off the ledge and shimmy left, then climb up in the alcove to get the Shotgun.

Get down and pull it twice to the S wall. Go to the other movable block nearby and push it towards the first, climb on it and shatter the grating, then jump to the crevice and get into the crawlspace. Kill a worker and a dog at the end and shatter the W barrels to get the Sewers Key.

SECRET 5: After shattering the barrels look N and see another grating. Shoot it and enter the crawlspace for Crossbow Explosive Ammo.

Get back outside again and use the passage and the mansions to get back to the main courtyard, where you found the first mansion. Open the E trapdoor in this courtyard, get down and kill a rat. Use the key you just found to open the wooden door. Use the button to open the trapdoor above you; climb up to the streets again. Follow the streets to see a little cutscene and afterwards head SE to find a lever near the corner. This opens the door E in the central. Get in the mansion and open the left door. There is a floor lever but if you use it you will immediately catch fire so go back into the mansion and left to find a pushable. Push it in until you reach a little chamber and can push the button inside to erase the fire. Get back there and push now the floor lever without health loss, then go back to the last courtyard. Jump in the pool and pick up Shotgun Wideshot Ammo, then climb out again, heading into the N building.

Roofs

Run upstairs and shoot the left window at the top, get on the roofs afterwards. Jump to the slope so that Lara slides down backwards. Shimmy far right and climb up, backflip with a turn in mid-air and grab the ledge. Climb up and, while jumping to the window, shoot it with the pistols to land on the ledge. If it doesn’t work you can shoot the window and get up again. Get in the building and shatter the opposite window. Get out and jump to the platform ahead, turn right, shoot the window and jump on the slope to get inside. Pull the lever and get out, jump on the last platform again and drop on the floor. The S door is now open. Go in and around the left corner to find a timed button. Push it, press Backwards and turn left, then sprint through the closing door. Climb up the little ladder and find a Detonator Key on the balcony. Get down again and use the Detonator Key behind the horse statue in the courtyard.

After using it wait few seconds until the statue will explode, then quickly jump into the pool for not being killed by the flames. Now get to the place where the statue was and pick up St. Paul’s Park Key. Leave this area by the SW hole where you came from, climb out at the end and follow the NW passage until you can find a keyhole to your right. Use the key and the doors open. You can’t find much in the park so just go in the SW corner and climb the ladder. Drop on the little balcony to your right and place Lara far left as possible, then jump to the other S balcony (it’s still hard, you may need to jump with a very small left curve and then grab the balcony’s ledge). Use the button at the end to open a door in the park. Return there and find it on the E wall. Get in and shoot a dog, then climb on the block to get Grenade Super Ammo. Afterwards push the button in the room and head back outside. Run to the opposite corner of the park (killing another rat) to enter the house, the door is just being opened by the button. Once more use the crowbar to open the wooden door. Run through the corridor and the level ends.
