[Note] I used the room editor to load the leopal.prj project. I then saved the file as catacomb.wad and created catacomb.tr4 to play the level. I used the normal script files and selected Catacombs as a new game. [End note]
You start with a long flyby of the area ending on Lara. Go around the top walkways to pick up flares, revolver ammo, revolver, and laser sight. Also notice four closed doors needing four items. Dive into the water and swim north to find two channels at the north wall. Go into the right channel for the crossbow, crossbow poison ammo and crossbow normal ammo. Swim into the left channel for crossbow explosive ammo. Now swim south into both channels for two crossbow explosive ammo. Pull up out of the water and go to the east side of the area. Press a big pushbutton. Loop around the wall to the other side to find and press another big pushbutton. Kill two skeletons that attack. Now go to the west side of the area and press two more big pushbuttons. Now run to the south-east door that is open to find a bird statue. This will get rid of the wraith that attacks, although it took a long time. Go and drop into the room in the south-east corner, Kill a skeleton. Enter the north room for Uzi ammo and a shotgun. Go to the west room for revolver ammo and a large medipack. Climb down a column in the east to a lower room. Kill three skeletons and pick up a Horseman's Gem. Now climb back up and get back to the area with the water.
Go the north-east corner into a similar room. Kill a mummy and get down into a room to kill a skeleton. Go to the south room for red shotgun shells and blue shotgun shells. Go into the west room for Uzi ammo and the Uzi's. Climb down a column into a lower room to kill three skeletons and pick up a Pharos Knot. Now climb back up and get back to the area with the water. Look west and see a rope over the water. Use it to swing onto a ledge in the south-west and pick up a Music Scroll. Drop into the water and swim to the west side and pull up.
Go the south-west corner into a similar room. Drop down into a room and kill a skeleton. Go to the east room for flares and crossbow explosive ammo. Go into the north room for a large medipack and a small medipack. Climb down a column into a lower room to kill two skeletons and pick up a Horseman's Gem. Look into the south-west corner for an opening. Remember where it is for later. Now climb back up and get back to the area with the water. Look east and see a rope over the water. Use it to swing onto a ledge in the south-west and pick up a Music Scroll. Drop into the water and swim to the west side and pull up.
Go the north-west corner into a similar room. Get down into a room to kill a skeleton. Go to the south room for grenade normal ammo and the grenade gun. Go into the east room for grenade flash ammo and the grenade super ammo. Also kill another skeleton. Climb down a column into a lower room to kill two skeletons and pick up a Pharos Pillar. Now climb back up and get back to the area with the water.
Go to the north-east corner to find a column that you can climb back up to the walkways. Go to the north door and use a Horseman's Gem to open it. Enter the tunnel and drop at the end to another tunnel. Continue doing this a few more times until you approach a door that opens for you. Enter the room and work your way across the steep slopes in a north direction. You should find a water pit at the north wall. Swim in and down the tunnel. Then pull up, kill two skeletons and dive into the water to the south. Swim across and climb up to use a Music Scroll. You get a cut scene of a closed door. Return to the water trench and the room. Work your way south towards the exit door. Climb back up all the tunnels to the walkways.
Go to the south door and use a Horseman's Gem to open it. Enter the tunnel and when it starts to go downhill, start to sprint. At the end jump over a gap while a spike ball falls behind you. Go south and turn west until you come to a pit. Jump to a ledge to the south-west. Go to the west end of the ledge and climb down a wall to a lower ledge. Go to the north end and grab the sloped wall. Shimmy east to the end and pull up on an east ledge. Climb down the wall to the bottom of the pit. Go to a tunnel in the south-west corner but be careful of falling spike balls from the ceiling. Follow the tunnel to a room and use a floor lever. You hear a door opening above you. Flares only work if you throw them. Look west and start up the incline, throwing flares when needed. Pull up into a room and go into the doorway in the north wall. Follow the passage and climb the wall to emerge into the opening I noted to remember. You are back in a pit so get back up and out to the water area. Back to the north-east corner and climb back to the ledges. I have no idea why you had to go this route as I found nothing.
Go to the west wall and use the Pharos Knot to open the door. Enter a tunnel and at the end, run down a slope. Climb down a ladder into a room and go south. Move a tower out of the way and enter the next room. Go north and move a tower out of the way to enter the next room. Go south, jump over a fire pit and use the Music Scroll. Then retrace your trip back through the rooms back to the ledges. The skeletons on the floor just remained there and did not awake.
Go to the east wall and use the Pharos Pillar to open the door. Enter and find the internal door open but there is still a closed door near the end. Follow to a room and run down all the stairs to the bottom. Use the floor lever and then run back up the stairs. The closed door there is now open. Go inside and press a big pushbutton. Go back to the stairs and dive into the water. Swim into the large opening in the east wall and the level ends.
