There
and Back Again.
Level by Von Cory.
Walkthrough by G&D Productions.
Jumping Blocks.
Watch the flyby then dive in the water, somewhere NE behind a pillar is
a Medipack. Swim SW up and climb up on a ledge at a
ladder pillar, run jump onto the slanted block N. Keep jumping the
blocks, to the last one with a sharp left curve so you can jump and grab
that crawlspace.
Get in and flip the lever to lower platforms at the ladder pillar.
Go back to the water and now swim to the SW corner again and climb out.
Climb the ladder, on the top transfer to the left, back flip and then
jump to the ledge along the S wall.
Timed Pillars.
Jump into the opening, and you can use the lever for an EASY or HARD
game.
There are 5 more levers here.
Left to right
# 1 block E wall goes up
# 2 block NE goes up
# 3 block N goes up (use last)
# 4 block N goes up (use 4th place)
# 5 block S wall goes up
Use them in the following order #2-#5-#4-#1, side flip right to (you can
save while in the air) #3, roll and jump on the first block, a running
jump to the far right hand corner of the higher one (timed very tight)
and hop onto the ledge at the S wall, curve right and a running jump to
grab the block in the corner. Curving right a running jump to the next
and a running jump to the last one, roll and run jump to the ledge on
the pillar. The spikes on the W ledge will lower, so jump there.
Boulder Release.
In the next room go right into the corner and get a small
medipack from the pit. Then go into the corridor E, jump the
slopes avoiding the emitters to get to the floor lever at the end to
lower the first trapdoor in the boulder room. You can jump down where
the spikes were and run through the pit to the other side (and do pick
up that small medipack), climb out and the spikes come
back again.
Back in the room with the slopes,
jump onto the slope and then to the open gate S
and come to a boulder room.
Now time the sprint to the other side and then drop down (stand right
and aim for the middle of the opening in the back, start sprint when the
first boulder goes left and just run down into the hole). Shoot the
dwarves and then use the lever near the gate, the second trapdoor
opened.
Go back onto the slope and climb one higher, jump into the opening in
the N wall.
Avoid all the swinging axes (run along the right hand side), use the
lever and back through the swinging axes.
Jump back to the slope and go down to the ground floor. A block lowered
under the slopes, throw the lever to release the boulder and raise a
platform in front of the upper opening E. Make your way up to the upper
slope where the boulder was, jump to the ledge on the S wall and from
there into the opening in the E wall. Turn around and climb the ladder
there.
Pushing the Statue.
Let’s first go for a nice Secret: open that wooden door E go into the
back and find some writing on the wall: "Turn
Around" Go out and to the passage N.
Walk slowly and right around the corner into the sloped passage, there
are boulders above. Aim for the opening at the bottom left and you’ll
see a path between the spike ledges. Run down and as soon as the boulder
on the right passed, turn right and wait for the boulders to pass. Now
jump over the last spikes and go jump into that passage.
More spikes and a boulder, aim for the opposite sloped floor and run
jump on it as high as you can, back flip while the boulder passes. Now
jump around the spike traps using the slopes and run into that hole in
the floor, you’ll end up in the first room. Swim into the now open gate
E and get the Secret,
a Medipack.
Go left and you’ll end up in the passage behind the wooden door, turn
around and go to the push able statue.
Push the statue on the different tile on the W wall.
Then go to the SW corner and climb the pillar there, transfer around the
corner to the right and back flip into the opening (W wall in the
corner). Flip the lever (crystal lever on the back wall).
Jump back to the pillar and climb all the way up. Go to the end and jump
into the opening (E wall).
Flip another lever and safety drop down to the ground floor and go to
the levers S, use them from left to right: down-down-up.
Then push the statue over the blocks onto the trapdoor E.
Back down and change the levers: down-up-down.
Now push the statue to the corner (SE).
Go to the N wall and jump to the opening there, in the back is yet
another lever. But you’ll have to shoot the Witch first.
Get out, jump to the ledge and climb the tall pillar S and now push the
statue onto the tile next to it.
Go to the W wall and hop into the opening there, follow through and
stand near the slope. Back flip and keep jumping about 5 times to grab a
ledge and pull up.
Boulders and Locust.
Get in and the gate closes, stay on middle and a bit to the right side
of the slope and when you hit that different tile, two boulders fall
down and immediately go left when that left boulder passes and run up
the slope (you might already encounter locust, just save and reload as
soon as they appear).
Dragons.
Watch your health from here on...
The camera angle changes but go right and try to run straight, left
around the corner and at the next corner into the opening there (SE).
Climb down a ladder and better save here, stay close to the walls. Jump
down and go to the right and make a running jump to the collapsible
tiles, then jump and grab the next ledge. Another running jump a bit
left to a ledge and again to grab the pole, swing to the next ledge.
Then another running jump and then push the button. Keep jumping (S) as
a gate at the S wall opened up. Use the lever inside and see an opening
in a pool. Go out, straight and safety drop down in that small body of
water below and swim through, pull up at the end.
Push the block in front of Lara once, then push the one on the left (W)
once. Turn right and push that one once. Go around and move the rest of
the blocks out of the way to reach the lever NE.
The Tomb Key.
When you use it the dragons will perish, climb up W where a ceiling
hatch opened and get back to the Dragon room. Climb over the wall into
the pit where the Dragons were and get the Tomb Key.
Use it on the S wall.
Go into the Tomb and find a Key left of the basket in
the middle...
Boy, I wonder how that will end... Or maybe in the sequel...
