HIGHLY ABBREVIATED WALK-THROUGH:
This is a labyrinth, and there are many different ways you could go, and you can even collect treasures and find the secrets in alternate orders. However, the basic structure is as follows:

- In the first part, you need to find the remains of Prof. Hardwicke, so that you can get the key he had in his possession.
- Once you have the key, find the Labyrinth Gate and use the key.
- Then, locate the Centre of the Labyrinth in which you will find the first treasure.
- To liberate the first treasure you need the Left and Right Stars of the Minotaur.
- Then, find the Spike Room in which you will find the second treasure and the Inner Sanctum Key.
- Then, locate the Inner Sanctum Gate (this will involve flooding an area of the basement) and use the key.
- Once in the Inner Sanctum, locate the third treasure.
- Once you have it, you then need to retrace your steps all the way back to the entrance.

NOTE: Even when you know precisely where you are going (or you are following the detailed walk-through) it takes about 25 minutes to do all of this, and about 50 minutes if you also want to find the six secrets (six golden skulls). If you are attempting the level on your own, expect to take longer...

DETAILED WALK-THROUGH:
The level begins as you slide down into the entrance room. Step on the minotaur tile to open the door. Go through and shoot the dog that comes from the right (east). Head left (west) and continue until you come to a hole in the floor. Drop down. Turn right (west) and go around the corner. Keep going straight ahead until the kink, then take the first right (east).

Shoot the two dogs that come out of the room to the right (east), then collect the goodies from the skeleton of Prof. Hardwicke (crowbar, labyrinth key, shotgun, shotgun ammo, small med-pack). Leave the room and turn left (south). Keep going until you come to an intersection, then head over to the water to your right (north).

There's only one other exit from this swim. Once you find it, get out and head to the right (north). This will take you to the Labyrinth Gate. Use the Labyrinth Key, then push the door open.

Head through, turn the corner, don't turn to the right, shoot the scorpion, follow the path round, and then climb up the east side of the hole. Head left (north), shoot the dog, and climb up the hole. Shoot the two scorpions. There's only one other way down. Find it, then drop through the hole. Head north, shoot the two bats, then left (west) and drop through the hole. Head south (away from another hole in the ground to which we will return later) and keep going around a corner, then take the first left (north). This will bring you to the Centre of the Labyrinth.

Press the button on the north wall to raise two blocks. To get the first treasure (located behind the gate on the south wall) you will need the Left and Right Stars of the Minotaur, located through the upper doorways on the west and east walls. Collect the two stars, shooting animals as required, then use the two stars. Collect the Golden Angel of Aphrodite and watch a door open somewhere. Then, head over to the east wall and go through the lower doorway.

Shoot the dog, go straight ahead (east), following the corridor around a couple of corners until you come to a low bridge. Cross this (DON'T FALL IN or you'll have a lot of catching up to do - or a reload!) then turn left (east). Don't go in the water that you come to. Keep following the corridor then take the first right (south). Follow this until you come to a crawl space.

Crouch, go in, take the first right (east), then turn left and jump into the water. Exit through the only other way out, and climb out on the north edge. Turn right (east) and follow the crawl space around, until you can stand up. Climb up into the crawl space on the west side, then find the only other way down. Take the crawl space to the left (west) then crawl into the standing room part on the right (north). Jump in the water, and climb out the only other exit. Note the minotaur tile at your feet (and the eerie music) and climb up into the crawl space on the north wall.

You will find yourself in the Spike Room. Turn to the right (east), step up, shoot two bats, then use the crack in front of you to traverse the spike areas. When you get to the other side, shoot the third bat, then collect the Golden Star of Minos using Prof. Hardwicke's crowbar. Then collect the Inner Sanctum Key (you'll be given a brief view of the Inner Sanctum Gate).

[FIRST SECRET: Jump into the pool surrounded by spikes. The Golden Skull is in the north/west corner. When you re-surface, an area of spikes on the north edge of the pool will have retracted enabling you to climb out unharmed.]

Exit the Spike Room through the crawl space that opened up on the west wall when you grabbed the second treasure. Drop down into the passage way, jump the hole in the floor, and hug the right wall until you get back to the Centre of the Labyrinth. Now exit through the lower doorway on the west wall. Go back to the hole in the floor previously mentioned and drop into a room with pillars which is part of a basement area that does not have any water in it. Go around to the east wall and go into the right crawl space. Once through, head around to the left, go past an inaccessible crawl space on the right (south) wall, and keep going until you reach a crawl space high up on the south wall. Climb in, and turn right (west) and climb up the hole. Shoot the scorpion, then push the button to flood the section you just came through. Jump in the water. Return to the room with pillars, evading the crocodile that came in with the water.

[SECOND SECRET: As you return to the room with pillars swim into the previously inaccessible crawl space, and grab the Golden Skull.]

Once in the room with pillars, exit through what had previously been an inaccessible crawl space on the north wall. Surface, and get out of the water, and get ready to kill the croc. Then use the Inner Sanctum Key, shoot the two dogs waiting hungrily on the other side of the Gate, and take the passage to your right (east). Turn immediately left (north) then right (east). Follow this passage as it turns to the left (north), then take the left (west) passage. This will take you into the Switch Room, guarded by two scorpions.

[THIRD SECRET: Before pressing any switches, go through the unblocked doorway on the right (east) wall. When you come to an opening in the roof, climb up the north side of the hole. Go straight ahead. The passage will head off on a north-east direction. When it straightens out, take the first left (north). This will bring you to the room with the third Golden Skull, this one guarded by a dog. Retrace your steps back to the Switch Room.]

Press the right switch (the left is inaccessible at this point anyway), then go through the now unblocked doorway on the west wall. After going around a couple of corners, take the first left (south). Throw the switch and shoot the croc. If you want to skip the fourth secret (the longest one to retrieve) return to the Switch Room by the way you just came.

[FOURTH SECRET: Retrieving this secret will take us right passed the third treasure, yet it will be inaccessible! Facing the switch you just pressed, turn left (north) and then take the left (west) at the T-intersection. Take a left (south), and another left (south) and keep going until you find the only way up (it is still difficult to locate!) Climb up, then follow the passage until you come to the only way down, and keep going until you come to the third treasure room. You can't reach the third treasure yet - the stairs face the wrong way. But climb the stairs and go through the crawl space on the east wall. Take a right (south), another right (south), then take the second right (east). This will take you to a way up. Climb up, then follow the passage around until on your left (east) you can see a gate with the Golden Skull behind it. Step on the minotaur tile to open the gate. Then retrace your steps back to the switch room.]

The gate in front of the left switch is now open. Press it to cause the big blocks to return to their original position (and also the stairs in the third treasure room). Turn around, exit out the south door, and go back to the room just inside the Inner Sanctum Gate where the gate on the north wall is now open. Go through this gate, turn left (west) at the T-intersection. Take a left (south), and another left (south) and keep going until you find the only way up (it is still difficult to locate!) Climb up, then follow the passage until you come to the only way down, and keep going until you come to the third treasure room, shooting three animals as you get close to this room.

Go up the stairs to the doorway high up on the west wall. Don't bother with the passage on your right. (Believe me!) Just climb down into the small room in front of you. Grab the Golden Trident of Neptune, and watch to see that the initial slide has become steps, thus allowing you to exit the labyrinth. Now turn around IMMEDIATELY, climb up, do a reversing roll, crouch down, and climb out. If you aren't quick enough, a boulder will kill you (and if you stayed put, it blocks you in).

Retrace your steps back to the Inner Sanctum Gate, and then back to the Centre of the Labyrinth, avoiding another crocodile in the flooded basement, and dealing with two dogs in the Centre. Exit this time through the lower door on the east wall, and go back to the low bridge. Shoot a crocodile in the water, then jump off the bridge.

[FIFTH SECRET: Exit the pool through the underwater passageway on the west wall. Swim right (north), then take the next left (west), then exit the water. Follow the passage around, shooting the scorpion. Then climb up. Go around the pillars to the only way up. Once up, head east, shoot the dog and collect the fifth Golden Skull. Jump out the gap into the water below.]

Swim through the underwater passageway on the south wall. It turns right (west), then take the next left (south). Keep going until you get to the door.

[SIXTH SECRET: DON'T OPEN THE DOOR. Turn left (east) and follow the passage around till you get to the Golden Skull. Then return to the door.]

Open the door, go through and surface. Get out, shoot the two scorpions, and exit through the door in the west wall. The passage turns to the right (north), then take the next left (west) and then left (south) again. When you come to a hole in the roof, climb up. This passage will take you round to where the passage that leads to the exit is to your right (south). Go through the open gateway, deal with three dogs, then climb the stairs to exit the labyrinth and the level.
