A SPOOKY TOMB

The vase ahead and to your right is empty. Don't slide down the N slope yet. If you turn around and shoot the chest in the S alcove, all you do is release a scorpion. When you step onto the W ledge, you trigger a bay of spikes that stay up. However, you can walk through the spikes without taking damage.
In the room beyond is a large central structure riddled with pushblocks. Go around left to trigger a beam in the S alcove. At the W wall, turn around and push the middle block #1 once E. Go around left and push the NW block #2 once S onto the tile where block #1 was. Turn left and pull block #3 once W onto the tile where block #2 was. Go around left into the N alcove and pull block #1 once S onto the tile where block #3 was. Reverse roll, go around right or left to the S wall and turn around to push the middle block #4 once N. Reverse roll, loop around left and push the SE corner block #5 once W. A door opens in the S wall to your left, so go inside for a large medipack.
Exit this room E through the spikes and find that a crystal has appeared in the beginning room. Go around it, light a flare and slide down the N slope. As soon as you land on the second slope, jump forward to grab the wall. Climb up to near the top, take a rolling back flip and grab the wall behind you. Climb up into the opening for SECRET #1 and pick up the GOLD. Climb back down, drop to the slope and slide down to the room below. Shoot two scorpions and stoop to grab the flares next to the boxes against the S wall. On a ledge above your head is a small medipack you can reach by climbing two adjacent blocks and jumping up SW.
Get back to the previous block and hop down S to the floor. Loop around left, pull back the pushblock and move it aside. Enter the revealed alcove for SECRET #2 and more GOLD. Hop back over the block, continue W over the next block and hop down into a small area with more pushblocks. Two of them jut out from the E wall. As you face them, push the left one S against the other one. Get up onto these two pushblocks and pull a third pushblock out of the S wall. Get on the other side of pushblock #3 and push it once N. Get up onto pushblock #3 and push pushblock #4 three times E to reveal a passage to your right.
Hop down into the passage, go to the end and find pushblocks #5 and #6 to your left and right. Push pushblock #5 two times N (revealing a passage to your left), reverse roll and pull pushblock #6 two times S. Hop down to your right, make your way a fair distance over and around the various blocks in a generally counterclockwise direction (but without returning to the room with the green floor) until you can hop down into a small room with three pushblocks. Move the SE pushblock #1 once N and two times W. Move the SW pushblock #2 to your left two times. Turn left and pull pushblock #3 one time S. Pull pushblock #2 one time N so that an E-W bridge is formed. Get up onto the bridge and pull pushblock #4 two times to reveal an opening to a new room.
Hop down and locate flares and the DETONATOR HANDLE among the boxes. Shoot the wooden barriers and go up the S ramp. Loop around left until you reach another wooden barrier. Shoot it and enter a room with two empty vases and the EYE OF HORUS on a central plinth. When you pick it up a skeleton appears. It behaves like a knight, however, so you can kill it with your pistols. Exit this room and make your way back over and around the blocks to the room with the green floor.
Hop down and locate the pushblock near the NW corner. Pull it once S, five times W and push it one time N. You can now climb onto the ledge and pull the NW pushblock one time E. Hop down and pull the first pushblock one time S and push it one time W. Get up onto pushblock #1 and push pushblock #2 one time N. Get up onto pushblock #2, turn right and pull the short pushblock #3 once. Jump over it to find the revealed crawl space to your left. Crawl in and drop down the other side into a small room. Shoot the wooden barrier and follow the winding ramp down to a lower hallway.
Shoot the vase in the W alcove for flares. Approach the skeletal knight to awaken it. The nearby vase is empty. Continue along the hallway to an intersection. The vases flanking the Anubis statue are empty. Enter the dark W passage and follow around until you reach the narrow W opening flanked by pillars. Go inside and to the back to find a sunken floor with a pushpiece. Move the pushpiece two times E, one time S and one time W so that it comes to rest in the middle of the sunken floor. Two skeletal knights appear, so deal with them.
The containers in this room are all empty (as are almost all the others you'll encounter, so I'll mention them hereafter only if there's a reason to do so), so return to the sunken floor and move the pushpiece W to the wall, S to the SW corner, two times E to the SE corner, and two times N to the NE corner. A block lowers in the floor near the entrance, so go there and hop down to pick up the ANUBIS PLINTH. I heard no chimes, but SECRET #3 is now registered in your stats. A fire wraith also appears, so quickly pull out E and exit this room. Turn left in the hallway and follow to a new room. Turn right, jump over the wooden barriers and the fence into a pool to douse the wraith. Before pulling back out, find the large medipack near the SW column.
Go back along the hallway in either direction, shoot a bat (only if you turned left when exiting the pool room) and when you reach the intersection place the Anubis Plinth between the paws of the statue. A door opens behind you, so turn around and shoot the wooden barriers if you didn't do so earlier. Go on through and turn right into a room with an erect coffin against the wall. Watch out for the wicked hidden spike trap to your right at the entrance to the N side room (you can safely jump over it). Run around a bit in this area to draw the attention of two skeletal knights and a bat, and when you've eliminated them run up either the SW or the NW ramp and avoid shooting the vase in the SW corner (releases a swarm of locusts).
Go the W area in the back and shoot another skeletal knight. Turn around and run straight across E to a dark area guarded by a slow-moving mummy and a bat. There are five marked tiles in this area, and glowing crystals appear when you run over them with your pistols drawn. After activating all five, run down one of the ramps (you may meet another skeletal knight on the way down) to the lower level and continue down the central W ramp to a room with two pushpieces. (The one on the left becomes pushable only when all five crystals above have been activated.) Move each one two times onto a marked tile, pausing in mid-task to shoot a bat, to open a door elsewhere.
Exit this area E (remembering that hidden spike trap near the entrance) and follow the hallway around to the E ramp. Go up and through the crawl space to the room with the green floor. Go to the SE corner and pull the low block back to reveal another crawl space. Enter, turn left (ignoring the nonfunctional pole to your right) and safety drop from the other end into a deep room. Go to the small table in the SE corner and use the Detonator Handle to cause a small explosion nearby.
Jump to the block in the NW corner and take a running jump from there into a room with a fountain and the door you opened earlier. Go through the N doorway, get up onto the block and pull up onto the ramp. Go up the ramp, turn around at the top and jump up to grab the ceiling trap door. Jump up again to grab the opening (taking a precise stand jump forward from the very edge of the ramp) and pull up into the upper room. Run forward and push the floor lever (cut scene of the room below). Drop through the hole, go across the N bridge and place the Eye of Horus in the receptacle in the N wall. Climb down the ladder into the next room. One of the nearby vases contains flares.
Go to the E wall turn left into the NE alcove and the coffin opens to reveal more flares. Go across to the SE alcove and the coffin opens to reveal a crystal you can't pick up. A mummy is also released, so run past it and climb down the ladder in the hole next to the translucent pyramid. Pick up the large medipack and the flares. A fire wraith is released, so climb back out quickly, run through the W gateway and jump into the pool. Pull out NE, return to the previous room and exit N. Run around the central structure and into the N hub room. Shoot a scorpion sneaking up from behind you and turn left toward the W opening and alert two more scorpions.
Prepare yourself for a pushblock exercise extraordinaire. Hop down into the pit and move the block next to the one in the SE corner over into the NE corner (#1). Pull the block in the SE corner (#2) two times W and move it three times N against the wall. Get up on block #2 and push block #3 once E onto block #1. Hop down and pull the block next to the one in the SW corner two times E next to the stationary block (#4). Move the block in the SW corner (#5) three times into the NW corner and two times E against the N side of the stationary block.
Get up on block #4 and move block #6 once N and two times E onto another stationary block against the N wall. Go to the entrance ledge and move the urn in the NE corner three times W onto block #6.
Get down to the floor and push block #4 three times E against the wall. Pull block #2 once from the N wall and move it two times E to the wall. Move block #3 in the NE corner two times S onto block #4. Hop down, go W around the stationary block and push block #5 one time E. Go around to the E wall and pull block #2 one time W and one time S. Pull block #5 two times S to form a bridge. Get up onto the bridge and pull block #3 one time W.
Hop down to the floor and push block #4 (against the E wall) one time N, go all the way around and pull it one time W. Turn right and push block #5 one time S and one time E. Get up onto block #5 and push block #3 one time N. To keep your brain from becoming numb I'll now try to refrain from referring to the blocks by number except where necessary or for the sake of clarity.
Hop down and pull one of the two loose blocks (not the one against the S wall) three times W and two times N. Move the other loose block all the way into the NW corner. Go to block #1 in the NE corner and move it against the S side of the free-standing stationary block. Get up onto the NW bridge and move the new block #7 two times E. Hop down and pull the block in the NW corner two times S. Move block #1 (to your right) clockwise two times around the stationary block (against its W side). Turn left and pull the block against the W wall one time E. Get up onto this block and pull the higher block one time S. Move the block you're now standing on counterclockwise around the stationary block (against its E side).
There are now three upper blocks. Pull the W one onto the stationary block. Hop down left and move the lower block from the W side of the stationary block to its S side (one time S and one time E). Move the central pushblock (the one between the two stationary blocks) two times S and one time W to form a bridge. Get up onto the bridge and pull the upper block one time S. Hop down and move the only block against the S wall one time E, one time N and one time E. Go around to the NW corner. Push the free-standing block two times E, go around and pull it two times S.
Hop up onto the bridge and move the W block two times E. Climb up higher and pull the urn one time S. Hop down onto the bridge and move what is now the SE upper block two times W. Hop to the floor and move the central block one time S and one time W. Get up onto this block and push the upper block one time N. Hop down left and move the block you were just now standing on one time E and two times N. Turn around and move the free-standing block against the S wall one time W, three times N and one time E. Hop onto this block, run forward and pull back the E upper block one time W. Hop back onto the floor and move the lower block around the stationary block one time W, two times S, two times E and one time N.
Turn to your right and pull this block one time W. Get up onto it, turn left and pull the N block one time S to form a bridge for the urn. Get up onto the bridge and move the urn two times W. Get down to the floor and move the lower block against the N wall in a counterclockwise direction to the S wall so that it forms a bridge with the adjacent block. Get up onto this bridge and move the upper block two times S. Hop down to the floor and move the only available lower mobile block two times W, one time S and one time E. Go around and move the central block (the one between the two stationary blocks) one time S, two times W and one time S to form a bridge. Get up onto this bridge and move the upper block two times W.
Get down to the floor and move the E block of this bridge around into the SW corner. Get up onto the bridge and push the upper block into the SW corner. Get down to the floor and move the middle block of this bridge three times N, one time W and one time S. Move the free-standing block against the S wall one time W, one time N and one time W to form a new bridge. Get up onto this bridge and move the upper block two times N. Hop down and pull both bridge blocks four times E to form a new bridge on the other side of the pit. Get up onto this bridge and move the upper block two times S.
We're done with this bridge, so it's time to make a new one. Hop down and move the middle block of this bridge one time W and one time S. Loop around left and move the free-standing block one time W, one time S, two times W, one time S and one time E. Get up onto this new bridge and move the upper block two times W. Get down and move the leftmost block around to the other side of this bridge (one time N, three times W and one time S). Get up onto this bridge and push the upper block one time W.
Get down to the floor and move the leftmost block of this bridge one time N, two times W and one time S. Move the other block of the same bridge one time E, one time N and two times W. Get up onto this block, turn left and move the upper block two times N to form a new bridge for the urn.
Move the urn onto the W ledge and through the opening into the next room. Move it onto the marked tile in the NE corner. The pit starts filling with sand, allowing you to get across to the W side. Pull up and continue into the next room. Turn left at the shrine and enter the large S room. The S opening at the far end is blocked by a long gondola, but you'll reach this area from the other side much later. The corner vase to your left contains flares. Go across the bridge to a pushpiece area. Pull the NW piece on your right one time E. Move the other piece two times W. Go up the SW steps to find a closed door and a large medipack. Return and go up the dark SE steps to find flares and an opened door. Enter and take the MECHANICAL SCARAB from the plinth. SECRET #4 is registered in your stats. Go back down, cross the bridge and turn right at the shrine, get across the sand-filled pit and continue through the pushblock room to the hub room.
Turn left and enter a room with sand dunes. A swarm of locusts attacks, but you can save and reload to get rid of them. The N opening is for later, but note for now that there's one of those hidden spike traps at the entrance. Go partway up the W ramp until two spike balls are triggered, then beat a hasty retreat and jump left or right to safety. Continue up the W ramp to a dark area with steps leading down to the right and left. Shoot two bats (one on either side of the steps), go down to a ledge overlooking a pool with a huge statue and jump into the water. Avoid two crocodiles while looking for the WINDING KEY hidden by one of the plants near the N wall next to the left paw of the statue. SECRET #5 is registered at this point.
Swim across to the SE corner and find the small opening. Swim inside and follow to a pool with sloped pillars. Pull out N, jump SE onto one of the columns and jump down to the NE corner to find a pushblock (#1). Pull it back and get up on it to access the upper N ledge for flares. Hop down, pull the block S and go around or over it to enter the revealed NE passage. Push block #2 and block #3 one time each and go back the way you came. Hop over block #1, push block #3 forward, turn left into the passage and pull block #2 two times. Go back around, hop over block #1 once more, enter the passage and pull the wall switch in the revealed alcove. Return to the ledge facing the pool.
Jump onto the short NW pillar, stand jump W onto the sloped pillar, slide and jump to grab the W ledge. Pull up and find the urn to your left. Move it over the rising tile onto the marked tile in the opposite corner to raise a block across the room in the SE corner. Take a running jump across the gap to grab the E ledge. Pull up and use the raised block to access the higher N ledge. Face SW and take a running jump curving to the right to grab the crack. Shimmy right around corners until you can pull up onto the W ledge.
Take a running jump N to grab the alcove ledge, pull up, turn right and run forward to watch the block go down. Jump E, pull up into the crawl space and safety drop down the other side into the room with the sand dunes. Go up the N ramp, light a flare and jump over that hidden spike trap at the entrance. Follow the hallway to a passage flanked by two erect coffins. The passage is booby-trapped with trap doors that will drop you into the water below with two crocodiles if you're not careful.
If you happen to fall in, swim S through the small opening, surface and pull out to find a wall switch that lowers the block beside you. Climb the ladder to the previous area and try again. After the two coffins, the first two tiles on the right side are safe. Hop forward over the third tile onto the fourth tile. Hop forward over the fifth tile onto the sixth tile. Walk forward onto the seventh tile and take a running jump forward to a safe area.
Enter the passage, face W, combine the Mechanical Scarab and the Winding Key and place it at your feet. After the MECHANICAL SCARAB WITH KEY triggers the spikes, follow it and pick it up. Turn left and emerge on a balcony. Follow it around and exit W. Pick up the large medipack in the corner to your right and continue up the W ramp into the next room with a central obelisk.
Approach the SE coffin on your left. It opens and out pops a jackal. Go inside and push the floor lever (one of four). When you emerge another coffin has opened, and this one contains a mummy. The third coffin door is already open, and it too contains a mummy. When you enter the fourth coffin opening, another jackal attacks. When all four floor levers have been pushed, a trap door in front of the central obelisk is released. Drop down through the hole and find a wall switch on the W face of the obelisk. Pull it down and climb out E.
Run down the ramp to find that the pit ahead is now filled with water. Jump in and swim to the bottom for GOLD (no secret is registered, however). Surface and pull out onto the fountain block. Jump W to the ledge, loop around right along the balcony area and find the NE exit. You've already triggered the spikes in this passage, so simply run through it into the next dark passage and either navigate the safe tiles as before or allow Lara to drop down into the water with the crocodiles. If you choose the latter, refer three paragraphs back to refresh your recollection on how to proceed. Return to the room with the sand dunes (remember to jump over the hidden spike trap at the threshold) and exit S to the hub room.
Continue S around the central structure into the room with the translucent pyramid, light a flare and locate the ladder in the NE corner. Climb the ladder to a ledge you visited earlier, but now the coffin ahead is open. Enter the passage, turn right and place the Mechanical Scarab with Key to trigger the spikes in the S passage. Retrieve it at the other end and proceed into a dark room.
Step forward and a mummy lurches toward you. Stay close to the N wall and make your way E, but light a flare to avoid the spike tiles placed randomly in the floor (I counted three of them). Your objective here is a sunken block in the floor near the SW corner that you need to lower by approaching five small ghostly cat statutes to make them light up. When you near the E wall, a second mummy materializes. Just past it around the corner to your left is the first cat statue. When it lights up a jackal and a skeletal knight are awakened.
Climb the ladder at the E wall and make your way clockwise around the periphery of this upper area. When you reach the N edge and face a dark area, jump to the ledge on your left to activate the second cat statue, continue to the next ledge and shoot the first vase you come to for flares. Go back the way you came to the N edge and this time jump NE onto a bridge. Run to the N wall, hop NE onto the ledge and run to the end to find GOLD. You hear the secret chimes, but no secret is registered. Continue to the E wall and climb back down the ladder.
By this time a third mummy together with the other two are waiting for you. Light a flare to avoid the sporadic spike tiles and find more flares near the SE corner. Stay close to the S wall and continue W to activate the third cat statue and attract the attention of a fire wraith. Run due N across the room (there are no spike traps here) to the exit passage and follow to the ledge. Safety drop from the bridge, reverse roll and run around the translucent pyramid into the W room with the pool to douse the pursuing wraith. Return to the dark room.
Climb the E ladder to the upper level once again and hop SW to the first sarcophagus area to find that a fourth cat statue has materialized in the corner. Activate it and continue clockwise to the next sarcophagus area. Get on the dark bridge you used earlier to find the Gold, but this time hop left at the N wall to activate the fifth and final cat statue. Get down to the floor below, shoot two jackals and find that the block near the SW corner has lowered.
Drop down through the hole and get ready for another pushblock exercise, this time in more cramped quarters. Pull the block on the right (#1) one time, go around right and push block #1 E one time. Move block #2 two times N into the NW corner. Move block #1 one time W and one time N (next to block #2). Pull block #3 one time N and one time E to reveal a SW opening that overlooks the fountain room you visited earlier. Stand jump S to grab the ceiling and monkey swing forward until you drop down onto an invisible ledge. Take a running jump S onto the broken column and hop into the dark S opening. Take CARTOUCHE PIECE 2 from the plinth (SECRET #6 is registered) and jump into the water below.
Elaborate Pushblock Exercise
Pull out and go through the N opening, hop onto the block and note the pushblock at the end of the short W passage. Pull up onto the ramp and run up to the familar bridge. Drop or climb down left and go through the S opening. Drop down into the passage and find the pushblock at the end. Push it one time S and one time E. Ignore for now the revealed pushblock #2 to your left. Follow the passage around to pushblock #3 and pull it back one time. Exit this area N and pull out to the room with the translucent pyramid.
Climb the NE ladder, turn right and run S across the bridge, down the ramp and into the sand-filled passage. Enter the W side passage to find that you can now push the block forward. Do so and turn left to push the next block to access the area described in the previous paragraph. Enter the SW passage and push the block at the end as far as it will go (ignoring for now the revealed pushblock on your right). Reverse roll and exit this area to the sand-filled passage. Climb the block, pull up onto the ramp and repeat your trip to the lower passage next to the room with the translucent pyramid.
Push block #2 (the one to your left in the SW corner) one time. Reverse roll and exit this area to the previous room, climb the NE ladder and make your way back to the W opening in the sand-filled passage. Go to the end of the SW passage and push the block one time W to open up a passage on your right. But go back NE and pull the NW block one time E (blocking the passage from this side). Reverse roll and make the same trip as before down to that lower passage. Make your way SE through the cleared passageway until you reach a dead end with three pushblocks bunched together. Push the leftmost one N one time.
Reverse roll, loop around right and pull the block in the E alcove back two times. Loop around left to the previous area and continue around until you reach a dead end. Push the block there one time W and two times N. Reverse roll and run S to a corner block. Turn right and push this block one time W. Hop back twice, side flip right twice and pull this block one time E and push it two times S. Reverse roll and loop around right until you reach another dead end with a pushblock. Push it one time W to reveal a passage, go a bit right and into the W alcove, pull this block two times E and push it one time S. Turn right into the revealed W passage and follow to a plinth with CARTOUCHE PIECE 1 (SECRET #7 appears in your stats).
Place the Cartouche and Exit
Now you've got to find the cartouche receptacle, so there are more blocks to push and pull. Reverse roll and return to the nearest pushblock. Pull it one time N and push it two times E into the plinth passage. Reverse roll, loop around right and pull the next block one time E. Turn left and loop all the way around left until you reach a dead end. Enter the S alcove, pull the block two times N and push it one time W. Enter the passage to your left, turn right at the wall and pull the block two times E. Turn left and follow the passage counterclockwise to a dead end.
Pull the S block one time N, reverse your steps and go around clockwise until you reach a block in the N wall (around the middle of a fairly long hallway). Push it three times N, reverse roll and loop around right to the W block. Pull it three times E, turn left and loop around left all the way to the S block. Pull it N one time, loop around right in the other direction and follow to a receptacle. Combine the two Cartouche Pieces and place the LOAD with no discernible fanfare.
And now you've got to find a way out of here, which of course necessitates the pushing and pulling of more blocks. Go all the way back along the winding passage until you reach a dead end with three pushblocks. Push the S block once, reverse roll and head in the other direction to a dead end. Push the block three times N, reverse roll and go S, then left and pull the N block three times S. Turn right and follow the passage around to a dead end. Push the S block one time S, go around the passage in the other direction and at the dead end push the block one time W.
Turn right and run to the N block in the alcove. Pull it three times S, reverse roll and loop all the way around left until you reach the exit block N. Pull out into the room with the translucent pyramid. Turn left into the W opening and jump into the pool. A block has lowered at the S end (presumably when you placed the cartouche), so swim down and follow the passage to the end, go up and N and emerge in a dark outdoor area near that gondola you saw earlier from the room it blocks. Swim to the W end of the canal and alert a crocodile. Pull out, kill it and jump back in the find the TEMPLE KEY among the rocks at the SW corner. SECRET #8 appears in your stats.
You're done here, so swim back the way you came and pull out of the indoor pool at the NE corner. You now need to turn on a total of nine lights that are spread throughout this sprawling game map, a task which requires considerable backtracking over areas you've previously explored.
Go through the room with the translucent pyramid and climb the NE ladder. Go S across the bridge and down the ramp into the room with the fountain. Loop around right, climb onto the rock and jump W through the gap into the next room. Get on the highest block at the S end and jump NE to grab the crawl space. Get in and crawl through to the room with the green floor, climb up the rocks against the N wall and get into the crawl space. Drop down the other side and follow the W ramp down to the lower hallway. Go around to the W end and activate the first light in the mural alcove. Return to the E ramp and go up to the top (you may encounter a stray bat along the way).
Get back into the S crawl space, hop down to the room with the green floor and get into the lower SE crawl space. Crawl left and drop down into the next room. Get onto the block in the NW corner and jump SE into the fountain room. Exit N, use the block to pull up onto the ramp and go up across the bridge and right into the E coffin doorway. Go through the triggered spike alley into the dark room with the mummies and still-active spike traps.
Climb the E ladder and jump the ledges to the N wall, where you'll find the second light on the other side of the pillar where you activated a cat statute earlier. Get back down to the floor and exit this room N.
When you reach the ledge with the bridge, climb down to the room with the translucent pyramid and exit N. Go around the central structure into the hub room and turn right into the E room that you haven't yet visited. Shoot the skeletal knight that has been waiting patiently all this time and go into the NE sarcophagus area to find the third light.
Exit, turn right into the N room with the sandy floor and turn left to run up the W ramp. At the top, turn right and go down the steps a bit. Drop down E into the trench and locate the fourth light. You'll return here soon, but first you must locate additional lights.
Climb back out of the trench, exit this room and run E down the ramp. Turn right into the hub room and go straight across through the S opening and around the central structure into the room with the translucent pyramid. Turn right into the W pool room and go around the pool to your left. Shoot a scorpion in the dark area and continue to the SW corner to find the fifth light. Continue clockwise around the pool if you wish to kill another scorpion.
Exit the pool room and climb that NE ladder once again. Follow the same route described above for the First Light, and when you reach the room with the green floor climb the blocks near the S wall. Hop down through the S opening, turn right and jump into the W opening, hop down and go around counterclockwise. Make your way through as you did earlier until you emerge at the S entrance to a lower room. Go straight across, turn right at the wall and follow to the sixth light.
Go back the way you came through the blocks and tunnels to the room with the green floor. Loop around right and enter the low SE crawl space. Crawl through, drop down into the next room, use the NW block to jump into the room with the fountain, exit N, use the block to go up the ramp to the ledge and across the bridge, climb down into the room with the translucent pyramid, exit N around the central structure to the hub room, go straight across into the room with the sand dunes, continue N up the ramp (be sure to jump over the hidden spike trap at the threshold), go through the NW hallway over the safe tiles, into the triggered spike alley, around the pool to the right and up the W ramp, and all the way to the back of the next room to find the seventh light.
Retrace your steps as described in the previous paragraph (for a change of pace you may want to swim with the crocodiles on the way back), and when you reach the room with the translucent pyramid climb the NE ladder once more. Continue the route described above for the First Light. When you get down to that lower hallway, turn left and follow until you reach the open S doorway opposite the Anubius statue.
Enter, turn right into the W room and keep left to avoid that hidden spike trap at the N opening. Go up one of the ramps to the upper level. Go around to the SE corner where you ll find the eighth light.
Ninth Light and Finale
Exit to the hallway with the Anubis statue, turn right and go back up the E ramp to the top. Go through the S crawl space into the room with the green floor, enter the lower SE crawl space and follow E to the room below. Use the NW block to jump to the fountain room, exit N, use the block to access the ramp and go up to the ledge. Climb down into the room with the translucent pyramid, exit N and go around the central structure to the hub room, turn left into the W pushblock room and get across to the other side, continue across the room with the sand pit, turn left at the shrine into the S room and go over the bridge.
Go up the SW steps and approach the ninth and final light. The W door opens, allowing you to go inside and claim the GOLD from the plinth.
Retrace your steps N and E to the hub room. Turn left into the N sand dune room. Go left up the W ramp to that room with the huge statue and the pool. Turn right, jump the ledges to the NE corner and pull up right where a block has lowered. Enter a dark room with a pushblock and a receptacle for the Temple Key. Use the key to open an underwater passage at the base of the huge statue. Pull the block two times N and go around it into the passage to find the GOLD (again, you hear the secret chimes although no secret is registered).
Exit and jump into the water below. Avoid the crocodiles and locate the open doorway underneath the tongue of the giant statue. Swim inside and up into the next room to end the level.
