Lara descends the gangplank from the Enterprise in a helmeted spacesuit to a frigid Planet Zorion. You already have the crossbow with 40 explosive arrows. The welcoming committee is not friendly. Run to and fro while shooting a half dozen aliens, and when the carnage is complete search the area for the REVOLVER, 3 x revolver ammo and 2 x large medipack. Push one of the dune buggies away and pick up the ROVER KEY. It fits the other dune buggy whose wheels aren't half stuck in the snow.

 

Drive the Rover up and over the right side of the snow bank, thus avoiding the lava lake further to your left. Run over a lone alien guard in the quadrangle and drive up the NE corner to find a slope leading up to a ledge. For a useless joyride, follow the ledge counterclockwise around the Enterprise and continue all the way around the smaller quadrangle until you reach a dead end. Dismount, but don't pull up higher E (fire tile surface). Instead, slide down N to the ledge and run toward the flaming pillar off to your right.

 

Jump E to grab the ladder and climb up into a corner. When the flames subside, take a running jump E into a gravitational field and float onto the next pillar for a large medipack. Jump E to the next flaming pillar just as the flames subside and hop down to engage two aliens. Pick up a spare CROSSBOW and explosive ammo. Hop up the N snow bank to find six aliens waiting down below like sitting ducks. Eliminate them and slide down for explosive ammo and revolver ammo.

 

Hop up N to the next snow bank and shoot the lone alien below. Pick up his revolver ammo and mount the Rover (one key fits all). Mount this Rover and drive it S up the snow bank and left up the sloped E wall to a surrounding ledge. Turn right so that the Rover is facing S, dismount and go back N a bit to find a ladder hole. Climb down and follow the passage E to an intersection that marks the beginning of a maze. Shoot the alien who steps out to challenge you. You can still hear footsteps, so run around at random to draw out five more aliens. At that point I stopped hearing footsteps.

 

Return to the W entrance to orient yourself. Run to the W wall, turn right and take the opening to your left just before you reach the S wall. Take the first left (N), and when you reach a fork go left. Follow around to an open area. The green blocks in the center are all pushables. Pull the three blocks on the side nearest you one time N each. Go around to the other side and pull two of those blocks one time S each. A stationary block prevents you from pulling the third one, so go around it and pull, not that block but the one next to it on the right, one time E to reveal SECRET #1.

 

Continue W along the pathway created by moving the earlier blocks and push the next-to-last block on your right one time N to reveal the UNIVERSAL KEY. Exit the maze, climb up the ladder and drive the Rover S down into the quadrangle. Dismount long enough to open the E doors and drive down the ramp, running over two alien guards. The weight of the Rover causes the elevator at the end to descend to a lower level. Drive down to a second elevator and ride down further. Run over an alien, dismount to pick up his LASERSIGHT and pull down the wall switch to lift the S gate.

 

Drive through the narrow passage, run over an alien, pick up his large medipack and push the wall button to turn off the lasers. Enter on foot and shoot two cyborgs. Pick up the dropped large medipack and explosive ammo, note the S lasers and look up at the ceiling to see someone patrolling above. Stand with your back to the central column, facing the lasers, and jump up into the gravitational field to pull open the ceiling trap door. Turn around to face the column and jump up once more with the up arrow key depressed. You should land in the room above without having to grab and pull up. Shoot the waiting cyborg and hop onto each of the four blocks.

 

Safety drop to the room below. The central column is gone, allowing you to pick up SECRET #2. Hop onto all four of these lower blocks as well, causing the lasers to vanish. Enter the S passage and shoot the cyborg around the corner. Pick up the explosive ammo and revolver ammo and proceed to the W door that opens upon your approach. There's no need to stay on the path marked by the arrows, so draw a weapon and run around this room until two alien guards materialize. Shoot them and go to the W wall. Turn around to face lasers. Run E over the square marked "gravitational jump" while jumping to activate the jump switch. The lasers below disappear, so enter the control room and go around to the other side. Stand to the left of the alien, who pays you no attention, note something on the floor under the console and stoop to pick up the COSMIC KEY. Be persistent, because it takes a little effort to make the grab.

 

Exit to the main room and climb the ladder near the SE corner of the control room (face S). There's a force field at the top preventing you from pulling up into the upper room, but if you keep the up arrow key depressed, Lara will transfer to monkey bars. Turn around and monkey swing right and then left to a jump switch. Release to activate it and climb back up the ladder. The force field is now gone, so find more monkey bars on the ceiling and monkey swing away from the opening so you can drop down into this small upper room.

 

There are two pushblocks up here. Pull one of them once W, go around (jumping over the floor hole) and push the other one once W, turn right and pluck the UNIVERSAL CUBES from the N wall. Go back around, jump to grab the ladder and climb down to the room below. Follow the arrows to the middle of the N wall, shoot two cyborgs and pull the block marked like a tape deck three times. Go around it into the N passage and face the left wall at the end. Jump up into the gravitational field and grab the edge at the top. Pull up and draw your pistols to shoot the breakable crates around you.

 

The remaining crate is a pushblock. Move it away from SECRET #3 and float back down the shaft. Go to the S end of the main room and locate a pushblock marked with the number 12 to the right of the alien (where the arrows are pointing). Two cyborgs start firing at you before you can pull it from the S wall. Remove the distraction and pull the console two times. Enter the revealed passage, go around the corner and ignore the opening to your left (lasers). Take the next opening to your right and go through the automatic door to the botanical garden.

 

Shoot two aliens inside, pick up the revolver ammo dropped by one of them, and as you run around the perimeter you're encouraged to search for the next secret. Go to the NW quadrant of the garden and shoot the brown gourd in the midst of all those shiny white flowers. Step forward and pick up SECRET #4. Exit the garden, follow the passage to the intersection and turn right. The force field that blocked your way earlier has disappeared, allowing you to use the Cosmic Key to open the W door.

 

As you enter you're being fired at from below, so go down the stairs to your right and shoot an alien. Pick up his explosive ammo, go back up the stairs, turn right and then left to go down the next flight of stairs to engage another alien. This one drops a large medipack. Go back up, continue W and go down the stairs to your right to the next area. The alien here isn't carrying anything. Continue the same pattern, stairs to the left, alien carrying nothing. The next area to the right has an alien with revolver ammo. Next alien to the left, nothing. Next alien to the right, nothing. Final alien to the left, also nothing.

 

Go back E along the passage dividing the various rooms below. Return to the third room on your right to find a N wall switch to the right of the busily working alien. You have to fight a rather strong current to get to it. Pulling it down opens a trap door somewhere. Go back up the stairs, turn left and go to the W wall. Turn left there to see a ladder where the trap door opened. Climb up to a pod storage room. Run toward the far wall and use explosive ammo to shatter a barrier to your left at the end. Pull down the wall switch to retract a pod, ans go back about halfway and find more UNIVERSAL CUBES to your left.

 

Climb back down the ladder and run around the perimeter of this large room to the SW corner, where you see two more ladders. One has a closed trap door at the top, the other ends with monkey bars. Climb the second ladder, transfer to the ceiling and monkey swing to the SE corner to activate the jump switch there. As you might expect, this opens the trap door, so climb the first ladder, shift right and drop down into a passage.

 

Follow the outer perimeter clockwise, ignoring all openings until you've turned two corners and are headed W. Turn right just before the corner there and go around to step on a marked tile that lowers a block in this area. Go back to the outer perimeter and continue until you reach a third set of UNIVERSAL CUBES. Go right (E) from there to find SECRET #5. Retrace your steps counterclockwise around the perimeter and climb back down the ladder. 

 

Exit this area E. Now it's time to deal with those lasers you ignored earlier. Take the first right (S) and wait for the first bank of lasers to move away from you. Follow it and jump over it on its way back. Do the same with the second bank of lasers. Turn the corner and pick up 4 x revolver ammo and 3 x explosive ammo. Looks as if a battle may be brewing. Step toward the door, which opens to reveal a waiting alien. Don't wait in the corridor, or you'll have to do battle in close quarters with an ahmet monster that doesn't die easily (hint, use revolver ammo, not explosive ammo).

 

Three more such monsters are lurking inside, as well as four aliens posted higher up in each corner of the room. You can't use the scattered blocks for refuge, either, with the exception of the SW block. There's a closed door in the E wall that we need to open, so get on the SW block, face N and stand jump into a gravitational field. You'll land on the first of many suspended platforms, so take running jumps from one to the next in a clockwise direction until you can jump W onto the central platform for more UNIVERSAL CUBES.

 

Drop to the ground to find that the E door is now open. Pick up 3 x revolver ammo at the entrance and step up to the door to make it open. Shoot a horde of aliens and dogs waiting inside and look around for the LARA CARD dropped by one of them. Go to the SE corner and stand on the tile marked "gravitational jump." Jump up facing S to pull up in front of a button. Push it to create a series of moving hoops in the central station. Go there with weapon drawn and enter by following path marked by the arrows.

 

Shoot the alien, pick up a second LARA CARD and use both cards in the terminals here. Go through the E passage and into the next room. Place the Universal Cubes in the four receptacles, watching a block lower after each placement, and when the fourth has been placed the E gate lifts. Climb onto the stack of crates to your right after noticing that all of them appear to be pushblocks. Some you can jump onto, some you can't. Pull the upper SE block, then the upper SW block to reveal SECRET #6.

 

Hop down, go around the shuttlecraft and enter it from the nose to end the level.
