CREATE A CLASSIC 2021 – THE LAST YETIS

First Secret

 

After the slide run straight ahead, approach to the pit and take a look at its left side to see an opening near the top under the snowy slope. Take a running jump to the slope, slide/grab the edge, drop/grab the edge below and pull up; continue to find a dead end and approach to the right side (snowball trap on the left), turn around and jump to grab the edge above, pull up, jump back and get the SECRET #1: a Golden Skull. Jump over the lower part of the icy wall to find yourself at the other side of the deep pit.

 

Back to the Starting Area

 

Approaching to the dark passage two leopards attack, go to the cave where they came from to find shotgun shells and flares. To get back to the starting area go out of the cave and turn left, climb the block next to the pit and turn around so you can jump back onto the slope, slide/grab the edge and shimmy right and around the corner, pull up on a flat surface, take a standing jump over the slope and another standing jump to the block in the corner.

 

Second Secret

 

From the starting area take the other path, advance to find a frozen lake and shoot a vulture. Drop into the nearby pit to land into the water below, swim until you find the frozen surface of the lake to get the SECRET #2: another Golden Skull. Swim back to the bottom of the pit where you can surface and use the slopes to grab the ladder and climb up outside.

 

To the Lake

 

Turn around and take a running jump to the flatter block in the right side of the pit, draw pistols and shoot the icy wall covering the opening, finally take a long running jump (no grab) there, and beware of the falling icicles. Slide down the next ramp and jump in last moment to land onto the ledge above the ladder (don’t try to grab it, falling snowballs); shoot two leopards and continue to a lake area.

 

Lake Area

 

Jump into the water and climb the low ledge to your right, facing the entrance jump to grab the edge of the ledge above and pull up; turn right and note the ladder on the hanging icy pillar in the center. For an extra pickup you can take running jumps around the room from ledge to ledge in a counterclockwise direction to get shotgun shells. Anyway take a running jump to grab the ladder and climb almost to the top, jump back to land onto a small ledge and take a running jump to the area with the closed door.

 

You need a key here (*) so pick up the SHOTGUN in the corner and jump around the room using the flatter parts of the ice, this time clockwise, until you reach an opening in the opposite side; go through the crawlspace, pick up a small medipack and pull the switch to raise gates somewhere. Go outside, jump into the lake and locate the triangular opening at the bottom, just opposite the entrance. Swim to the very end and right to the corner to get shotgun shells; swim back a bit and down the trench to find diamond-shaped openings where the gates raised; continue swimming until you can surface and get out of the water.

 

Movable Blocks Puzzle

 

Pull the timed wall switch and quickly run to the other side of the room and into the niche before the doors close; inside may be a trigger tile so one of the doors will stay open. Go out and pull the movable block you can find in the corner once in front of the open door, now use the timed switch again so you can go one more time into the niche and even when the door closes behind you, now you can push the block once against the pool, go to the left side and push the block twice, so you can climb it and push the higher movable block several times to discover a wall switch; pull it to open the wooden door in the pool room. Go there, climb up the ladder, jump back at half way and pick up the TIBETAN GATE.

 

Now take all the long way back to the room with the first lake, up the ledges to grab the central ladder and jump to the area with the closed door. (*)

 

Timed Run

 

Open the door with your new key, slide down the small slope and shoot two bad guys appearing from the sides; to the right of the trench there is a large medipack, but beware of the rolling boulder. Shoot the icy wall panels behind the pillar in front of the entrance and jump there, pick up the uzi clips in the corner and pull the timed wall switch in the dark side, quickly roll, go out and run diagonally to your left before the door closes. If you want you can step onto the wooden tile to re-open the door (not necessary) but continue to a ledge overlooking a big canyon.

 

The Canyon

 

Shoot the vulture and drop onto the rock below, turn left and slide to a lower ledge, take a running jump to the next ledge and save your game; take a long running jump to the snowy rocks triggering some rolling snowballs and immediately run a bit right (near the edge) to avoid them; now jump into the water from the edge the snowballs fell and pick up revolver ammo, swim even deeper through a small hole at the bottom to get the SECRET #3: one more Golden Skull. Surface and climb the lower ledge, from the adjacent tile close to the corner take a curved standing jump onto the left side of the white wide slope leading to the lake, slide a bit and take another jump with a left curve to land onto the ledge to your left; now continue advancing through this side of the lake climbing and jumping until you reach the ladder, climb up to the top and pull the wall switch to open the next door.

 

Small Roofs

 

Run over the red carpet and light a flare to discover a movable wooden box to your right near the closed doors, run to the back of this new room to pick up revolver ammo if you want but return to the entrance, climb the movable box and take a running jump to grab the ladder in the corner, climb up and shimmy right to land onto the second floor. Roll, run to the very end and turn left to see a missing part in the fence, jump over, onto the roof on the other side and shoot a vulture; jump from roof to roof and into the small corridor on the other side.

 

Opening a Door

 

The wall to your left is climbable, so climb and pull up onto the sloped roof, pull up, jump back and forth to grab the upper part of the wall and climb just until Lara’s feet touch the bottom edge of the wall, shimmy almost to the very left and jump back to land onto a small terrace. Go to the corner and jump over the sloped small roof into a water hole; swim down but at middle way look for an opening with an UW lever to open a door somewhere; continue swimming to the very bottom, time the teeth doors and get out of the water in front of a closed door. Climb the block to your left, turn right, drop/grab the edge and shimmy left until you can stand up, pull the wall switch to open that door and go there to find yourself in the room with the red carpet. The other door is now open too, so go inside to get the UZIS and 2 X uzi clips.

 

Exiting the Lake

 

But… Where is the door you opened with the UW lever? Go back again to the nearby room with the movable wooden box, climb it, jump to grab the ladder, go back to the missing part of the fence, jump to the other side and spot the door in the opposite wall; you can jump there from the central small roof. Pull the switch inside to open a big door in the lake; go back there, jump into the water and swim left to find it, advance to an UW cave with a big hole in the floor, pick up the flares in the right side if you want and swim through the hole; continue swimming until you finally surface in the temple courtyard.

 

The Temple Surroundings

 

Once you go out of the water deal with two bad guys, they will drop uzi ammo and shotgun ammo. If you go to the right side (facing the temple) and pull the switch near the corner, up to 4 leopards are released, but also turns off the fire over that block so climb it, jump over the small fence, turn left, jump to grab the ladder on the side of that icy pillar and climb to the top. Jump up to grab the monkey climb and swing to the end, turn left, drop/grab the red ladder, climb down to the very bottom, drop/grab the ladder below and pull up onto the temple ledge.

 

Timed Run

 

Turn right and go to the end of the ledge to find a wall switch, save your game (it’s timed), pull it, roll and quickly sprint back, around the corner and right into the temple; from the wooden bridge turn left and take a running jump to the high pillar and another running jump without stop to the next one to your right, don’t pull up (perhaps the fire has returned) but shimmy right and around the corner to find a ladder; climb down to the very bottom.

 

The Laser Sight

 

Pick up the small medipack near the fire and pull the switch on the fat pillar to raise the doors above where the bridge is and expose the mask. There’s a movable wooden box behind the fence and two white tiles on the floor; if you place the box on the first one, the cage with the yetis will open, but if you pull it without stop the cage stays closed. Anyway move the box onto the far white tile and the wooden door opens near the switch, go there and beware of the hole to pick up the LASER SIGHT.

 

Lava Area

 

Now that you have the sight, you can drop into the hole, it seems that you are falling to your dead, but there’s a pool below where the REVOLVER is. Now approach to the lava pit, take a running jump to the block to your right, another jump to the next one, another jump to the slope to your right, jump onto another slope and take a last jump to a safe block (left side). Turn left, jump and grab the edge of the next slope, pull up, slide and jump with a right curve to land onto the slope to your right, slide/grab the edge and shimmy right until you are over a hole, drop through and quickly (toxic gas here) roll and run inside the niche to get the WOOD’S DOOR, run to the other side of the passage and climb the ladder before you choke.

 

Exiting the Lava Area

 

At the top of the ladder release the action key and quickly press it so Lara is with arms and legs extended and shimmy left, pull up and take a standing jump to the protruding ledge below (left side, the right side is deadly), jump to the next safe ledge and take a running jump to the ledge with the TNT crate. Climb down the ladder (toxic gas here too) and pull the switch to lower a trapdoor somewhere, quickly climb up and jump back to the previous ledge, to the protruding ledge and take a long running jump to the safe rocks in the corner with the large medipack.

 

Move the wooden box to the left a couple of times so you can climb it and jump to the rocky pillar under the ladder, climb up and when you are under the blade (don’t approach too much) take a backflip with twist to grab the ladder at your back, continue climbing and do the same when you find the next blade, climb even higher and repeat the same maneuver near the top of the ladder to finally reach the top and pull up outside.

 

The Tibetan Mask

 

Find yourself in the surroundings of the temple building, but at the very bottom. Use the small ladder to your left to climb to the small roof, slide down from the left side and run to the end, find the movable wooden box attached to the wall and pull it out and aside, enter and you are back inside the temple. Now go to the ladder you used to climb down, this time climb up to the very top but don’t pull up (there’s a fire at the top), jump back to land onto the platform with the TIBETAN MASK.

 

Movable Block Puzzle

 

There are several baddies waiting outside, so dispatch them and pick up his uzi clips and shotgun ammo. From the end of the wooden bridge go right and right again around the corner to find the keyhole and the closed door. Open the door and time the teeth doors in the corridor. In the next huge room run to the back keeping the wall to your right and drop into the dark pit, light a flare, go down the stairs and find revolver ammo near the corner; pull the switch to light the room and look to the ceiling: the picture here is the same than in the room above, but a tile in a corner is marked with a purple light. Go back upstairs and place the movable block onto that marked corner to raise a door above exposing a big bell, shoot it with revolver + sight and a door opens near the entrance.

 

The Rusty Key

 

Go there, beware of the falling icicles and note the enclosed snowmobile to your right, slide down the ramp and locate the ladder to your left, jump over the hole and from the very left side try to approach as much as you can to the ladder so you can jump and grab it, climb up to the top, shimmy right and go through the passage to find the RUSTY KEY. When you pick it up a snowball is triggered so quickly run to the hole with the ladder (jump when sliding the small slope) and jump over it to avoid being crushed; pull the switch to raise another door exposing the other big bell in the room with the movable block and go back there (go up the ramp near the snowmobile using the flatter ledges on the right side).

 

Driving the Snowmobile

 

Once in the main room shoot the bell and it seems that nothing happens, but the snowmobile is now available; mount it and drive down and up the next ramp to save a pit, without stop turn left and jump to save another pit, trying to land on the right side with the snowy ramp, two snowballs will come to crash you but they are easy to avoid, first driving to the left and next to the right. Park the snowmobile at the top of the ramp.

 

Fourth Secret

 

To get the next secret go back down the ramp on foot and take a running jump to grab the ladder attached to the wall, climb up to the very top (left side) and jump back to land onto a small ledge. Light a flare and look up: there’s a small opening above; from the tile to the right of the opening situate Lara against the wall and use the “Ctrl + Up Arrow” keys to jump and grab an invisible crack to the right of the opening, shimmy left and go inside the crawlspace to get the SECRET #4: a Golden Skull. Go back to the small ledge.

 

For some extra pickups jump onto the small wooden bridge, to the opening in the opposite wall and go all the way to the other side sometimes shimmying and sometimes pulling up and on foot when you reach the fires with the fires to get revolver ammo and shotgun ammo. Go back to the small bridge the way you came, jump to the small ledge and climb down the small ladder to ground floor. Run up the snowy ramp to the place where the snowmobile is parked.

 

Big Pool Area

 

For an extra pickup you can jump into the pool below and look for a large medipack in one of the corners; to go back up there is a low ledge and a long ladder in another corner. Try to shoot the bad guy from a safe position with revolver + sight or he will hurt you while doing the next task. Go beyond the ramp to your left and light a flare near the corner to discover a movable block attached to the wall to your right, move it under the small ladder above so you can reach it and climb it to the top. Shoot another bad guy and pick up the uzi clips he drops, pull the wall switch on the dark side of the pillar to open the exit door. Now climb down, mount the snowmobile and drive up the ramp to cross to the other side; dismount and pick up the shotgun shells the bad guy dropped when die, use the key to open the door and mount the snowmobile again.

 

Last Secret

 

Drive over the narrow catwalk around the room with the bells you visited before, jumping over the small gap, and dismount when you drive up the last short ramp when you exit this room. Jump to grab the edge of the high roof to your right (from the highest part of the snowy hill) and pull up, jump to the rocky ledge and pick up shotgun shells; now jump to the corner of the next roof, jump to the sloped part ahead, slide/grab the edge and shimmy right to the next corner where you can pull up, now take a curved running jump to the window sill, pull up and shoot the window; inside you’ll get the SECRET #5: a last Golden Skull. Drop from the window onto the catwalk (or onto the roof to avoid damage) and go back to the place where you parked the snowmobile.

 

Pit with Breakable Tiles

 

Mount and carefully drive down the steep slopes using the brakes, run over the leopards and drive up the next roof. Dismount and slide down the narrow ramp jumping over the blades. In this dark room advance and go right to find a deep pit with floating breakable tiles.

 

Time the first fire emitter at the other side of the room and take a running jump to the first tile, another running jump without stop to the second one and a last running jump to grab the edge of the third. From this position, hanging from the breakable tile, you don’t need to pull up to jump to the other tiles, but shimmy right a long way using the edge of the roofs and around the next breakable tiles until you reach the one under the last fire emitter; this time pull up from the left corner and time the fire so you can take running jumps to the next breakable tiles and finally reach a safe ledge with shotgun shells and a switch. Pull it to open the next door and climb the block where the switch is, jump to grab the monkey climb and swing ahead and around the corner to get back to the previous room. Turn right and advance to find the open door. There’s a small medipack in a corner here.

 

Room with Enclosed Yetis

 

Approach to the next room to see more breakable tiles. Don’t worry about that, there aren’t traps below so run to break any tile and fall to the bottom. There is a corridor in a corner with a closed door and a receptacle to use the mask, but this receptacle is too high. Fortunately in the previous room there is a movable box, but unfortunately when you approach to the box the doors open releasing the yetis. Once the calm is restored, move the box under the receptacle and use the mask to open the door.

 

Exiting the Level

 

In the next room beware of the falling icicles, climb the ladder to your right and jump back with twist to grab the edge of the tall icy block in the opposite side, pull up, jump to grab the monkey climb and swing to the climbable wall near the corner, drop/grab it, shimmy left and climb up to an outside area where the level finishes.
