WALKTHROUGH by Lizard Queen

 

Level 1: Mountains of Madness (0 Secrets)

 

Mountain Encampment

The level opens with a cutscene of the encampment. Turn on the Personal Light Source (FLARE KEY) and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK beside the campfire. Head to the right of the tent and pickup two SMALL MEDIPACKS. Head to the edge of the cave, shoot the wooden crates and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK. From the edge of the cave, take a running jump with grab to the block. Lara’s heat bar starts to lower. Turn around and return to the cave and warm up at the campfire. N.B. The right side of the campfire seems to reset Lara’s heat more quickly and for longer. Head back to the edge of the cave and take a running jump with grab back to the block. Angle left and take a running jump to the ledge. Take a running jump to the ledge north/east. Walk through the plants, press CTRL at the message to see the clue “Hold sprint to jump farther”.

 

Face north and shoot the BLUE GLOBE. Face north/west and shoot the 2nd BLUE GLOBE. Take a standing jump with curve left to grab the parallel bar. Swing (CTRL+SPRINT+UP ARROW) to increase speed then jump (with curve left if necessary) to grab the ledge. Take a running jump and grab the crevice north. Shimmy right around two corners and backleap (CTRL+DOWN ARROW) to the ledge behind.  Head north, take a running jump to the sloping block north/east and backflip to the ledge behind.

 

Face south and grab the crevice. Shimmy left around the corner, shimmy left and jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull up to a set of stairs and another flame bowl. Take a running jump to the slope south with a curve right to land on the ledge. Climb the ledge west, face south and take a standing jump to grab the edge of the collapsing tile without collapsing. Shimmy left around the tile to the next collapsing tile. Continue shimmying left and pull up into the alcove north. Climb down the ladder and open the door west.

 

Head to the table and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK. Head down the staircase to the bottom, angle to face north/west and take a running jump with a sharp curve left to the slope. Slide, grab the edge of the slope and shimmy right. When the camera angle changes, backleap to grab the crevice behind. Shimmy right around the crevice to just around the 3rd corner then backleap to the column behind, slide and jump to the ledge. Take a running jump to the ledge with fire and warm up at the fire bowl. Take a running jump east and grab the chain. Climb up and forward leap to the ledge. Take a running jump east to the ledge to warm up.

 

Angle to face north/west and take a standing jump into the alcove. Run down the corridor and take a running jump to the ledge. Without stopping, take a running jump to the next ledge on the left. Run up the stairs and take a running jump with grab to the ledge south. Pull up and take a running jump to the ledge on the right and a running jump while curving right with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing and jump to the ledge with fire. Warm up in the alcove, face south/east and shoot the BLUE GLOBE in safety. From the outer ledge, angle to face north/east, take a standing jump to the small triangle ledge and pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK. Take a standing jump back and warm up in the alcove. Angle to face north/east and take a standing jump to grab the north block. Pull up and take a standing jump to the horizontal pole. Swing then jump and grab the next pole then swing and jump to the ledge. Warm up near the fire bowl.

 

Angle to face south/west and take a running jump (with grab to change trajectory) down to the lower level slope below. Immediately backflip to the ledge behind, pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a door opening to spike doors and warming station. Turn around and take a running jump with grab to the ledge. Pull up and take a running jump to the ledge. Head down the stairs and take a running jump to the ledge. Head through the spike trap doors and warm up. Climb the block, pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a door opening.

 

Exit the alcove and take a running jump to the ledge. Run up the stairs and take a running jump with grab to the ledge south. Pull up and take a running jump to the ledge on the right and a running jump while curving right with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing and jump to the ledge with fire. Warm up in the alcove. Angle to face north/east and take a standing jump to grab the north block. Pull up and take a standing jump to the horizontal pole. Swing then jump and grab the next pole then swing and jump to the ledge. Warm up near the fire bowl.

 

Head to the south/east edge and take a running jump down to the lower ledge below. Quickly head through the opening, through the corridor and watch a cutscene. Head through the door to warm up. Run forward and warm up inside the pagoda. Head to the right side of the exit, run forward against the wind and take a running jump to the ledge ahead. Continue running against the wind, across a small bridge and take a running jump with grab to the next ledge. Pull up and let the wind push Lara towards the fire bowl. Run around the right side of the fire bowl along the wooden floor to warm up then run north and take a running jump off the triangle outcrop to the next ledge. Take a running jump over the gap and another running jump to the next ledge. Run jump to the right (east) then take a running jump with grab to the next ledge east. Run forward then take a running jump to the 1st column east, a running jump to the 2nd column east and a running jump to the ledge. Quickly run jump forward to warm up by the door with fire bowls.

 

Walk to the south side and take a standing jump behind the fire bowl. Take a standing jump north to grab the centre of the 1st horizontal pole. Swing and jump to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pole then swing on the 4th with sprint (to gain speed) then jump and grab the jumpswitch on the wall north. Immediately backflip off the slope below the switch to avoid catching on fire. Enter the newly opened door and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK.  Head around the corridor and up the stairs.

 

Mini Boss Fight:

Arm weapons and jump to the platform. Shoot at the HAMMERGOD and FLOATING DEMON, then drop to the lower level and head south/west to the fire bowl to warm up. If possible, shoot at the enemies from below then climb the ladder and continue shooting and dropping to warm up until both are dead. Climb the ladder and shoot the newly spawned MASSIVE CHICKEN. Head to the fire bowl on the platform to warm up (or drop down to the fire bowl below) and continue shooting the enemy until dead. Watch a cutscene of a door opening. Climb the ladder, use the warming station then run/jump to the door.  Watch a cutscene (I won’t spoil it) for a level change.

 

Level 2: Croft Laboratory (0 Secrets)

 

Croft Laboratory

Turn on the PLS (FLARE KEY). Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK on the table. Head right (west) and pickup the MOSSBERG 590 AMMO on the table. Exit the room, head right to the end of the corridor and shoot the grate. Crawl through the crawlspace, climb into another crawlspace and pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK. Exit, face north and jump up and grab the crevice. Backleap to the crevice behind, jump up and grab the edge and pull up into the alcove. Pull up into the crawlspace east, shoot the grate and jump down into the next room. WARNING: You MUST shoot the grate before jumping down otherwise you will be stuck. Head through the door, reverse roll, arm weapons a shoot the two SPACE GUARDS. Head forward into the next room south/east and pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO. Head down the stairs then turn right at the bottom and jump up and grab the jumpswitch east. Head through the door, through the corridor to a large room with a laser device. Pickup the NARMER’S DAGGER and shoot the FLOATING DEMON. Move the left block in the north wall, pull the wall lever and exit through the opposite door. Head through the corridor, up the stairs and turn right. Pull the jumpswitch behind the plant in the north/west corner and exit the room. Head left through the newly opened door, around the corridor and pickup the REVOLVER AMMO. Exit the room back to the room in the south/west corner and climb back into the crawlspace. Crawl through the ductwork, climb down and exit back to the main corridor. Continue through the corridor to the end where the door opens in the west wall. Safety drop down twice for a level change.

 

Level 3: Cambodja (3 Secrets)

 

Upper Jungle

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Turn left, climb the grassy slope, take a standing jump up and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK behind the tree. Walk north along the slope, take a running jump over the slope and jump up and grab the jumpswitch behind the plant (opening two grated doors). Slide down to the jungle floor.

 

SECRET #1: Head to the south end of the jungle floor, climb the slope east, up two ledges and head north along the top. Take a standing jump to the slope north/west, jump off and grab the horizontal bar. Swing and grab the ledge and pull up for the secret. Pickup the Sapphire Sphere, LARGE MEDIPACK and two SHOTGUN AMMO. Face west, safety drop and slide to the jungle floor.

 

Head west and slide down the small slope. Arm weapons and shoot the BAT. Safety drop down to a flat block. Face north, walk to the end, safety drop to the crevice below and drop to ground floor. Head south and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Reverse roll and head north. Shoot the three SPIDERS. Head left, shoot the BAT, safety drop down to grab the crevice and down to a dirt floor. Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK and SMALL MEDIPACK.  Jump up and grab the crevice, shimmy left, jump up and grab the ledge and pull up.  Head left to a pool area (north).

 

North Pool (Middle)

Take a running jump north and grab the column ahead. Take a running jump and grab the horizontal bar on the right. Swing and grab the next bar and a final swing to the ledge. Push the floor lever (lowers a raising block blocking a wall switch), shoot the two SPIDERS and the BAT. Drop into the water and swim to the other side (south). Pull up and climb the ledge. Head right (west) and jump up and grab the slope south. Shimmy right and pull up. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge west and pull up. Take a standing jump north/north/west careful to avoid the illegal slope to the left (west) and pull the wall switch (lowering a 4 bar door). Angle to face south/east and take a running jump with grab to the brown slope. Shimmy left, backflip to the slope behind then jump with a curve left to land on a flat spot. Take a running jump with grab west then jump up and grab the ledge above. Pull up and head east then north (left) to a sloped ledge over the pool area (north).

 

North Pool (Upper)

Take a running jump north with right curve to grab the slope. Shimmy left to the end, leap back with curve right and grab the slope. Shimmy right to a flat spot and pull up. Take a running jump with grab to the slope north. Pull up, slide, jump to the next slope and a final jump to the flat ledge. Pull the wall switch (lowering a 4 bar door) and take a running jump or swan dive into the water below. Swim south and climb the ledge. Head south past the corridor and jump up and grab the crevice west. Leap back and grab the crevice east. Shimmy left then jump up and grab the crevice above. Pull up, head right and pull up onto the ledge east.

 

Sinking Platform Room

Angle to face south/west, take a running jump to grab slope, shimmy left around corner and pull up into opening south. Head south and jump up and grab the crevice. Shimmy right around the corner then jump up and grab the ledge and pull up. Arm weapons and shoot three SPIDERS. Climb up the sinking platform, jump up twice and grab the ledge south. Pull up, head through the corridor, climb the block and pickup the ELEPHANT KEY on the pedestal. Return to the sinking platform, jump up twice and grab the ledge north. Pull up, head through the corridor, climb the block and pickup the LION KEY on the pedestal. Return through the corridor to the sinking platform.

 

SECRET #2: Angle to face south/east from the back of the platform then take a running banana jump with sharp curve left to land behind the sinking platform column for the secret. Pickup the SAPPHIRE SPHERE, two UZI AMMO, two LARGE MEDIPACKS, one SMALL MEDIPACK, two SHOTGUN AMMO.

 

Drop down to the floor, safety drop through the hole in the floor, let go and grab the crevices down to the lower floor. Head south to the edge of the cavern and take a running jump with grab to the slope south/west. Leap back and grab the flat ledge behind. Pull up, climb the ledge and take a standing jump up the slope back to the jungle floor.

 

North/East Corridor Cavern

Head north through the newly opened corridor. Arm weapons and shoot the two GILA MONSTERS. Pickup the UZI AMMO at the middle north wall. Head to the north/east corner and pull the wall switch in the west wall. Jump up and grab the raised grate and pull up. Take a running jump east to grab the edge of the ledge (tricky) and pull up. Use the two Lion and Elephant keys in the locks in north wall and head through the newly opened door. N.B. This is a point of no return, so if you want to go for all the secrets, now would be the time to do so before sliding down into the next area.

 

Outside Open Area

Head north and pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO at the north wall. Head south then left (east) and left again to the side of the slope between two trees into an opening north.

 

Push Puzzle Cave

Jump up the slope into a room with a pushable statue. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO in the south/east corner. Head to the west wall and take a standing jump and grab the crevice in the wall. Shimmy right and drop to the platform. Take a standing jump to the north ledge with 5 wall switches.  Push down the 2nd, 3rd and 5th switches and return to the south side. Push/pull the statue to the marked tile in the east wall and notice movement and sound of a door opening outside. Pull/pull the statue to the other marked tile in the west wall and watch a cutscene of the other door opening outside. Exit the room and head back outside.

 

Mini Detour for SECRET #3

Head south/west to the edge of the cavern. Take a running jump to the column. Walk to the end and face west. Take a running jump off the column, immediately twist in the air then slide and grab the edge of the slope west.  Shimmy left, leap back with a slight curve right and grab the ledge. Take a standing jump to the ledge, pull up and head forward for the secret. Pickup the SAPPHIRE SPHERE, three VAMPIRE STONE AMMO and four SMALL (GREEN) MEDIPACKS. Head east, take a standing jump to the ledge north/east and safety drop to ground level. 

 

Head to the pool west and pickup the UZI AMMO and SHOTGUN AMMO in the water. Pull up onto the ledge and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK.  Head around the ground floor perimeter and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK, SHOTGUN AMMO to the middle of the east wall and climb the two blocks. Take a standing jump to the slope east and shimmy left to the end. Leap backwards and grab the ledge behind. Pull up and take a running jump with grab to the north ledge back to the upper area. Head to the north/east section of the open area and down the ramp for a level change.

 

Level 4: Naga Temple (3 Secrets)

 

Main Hub - Perimeter

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Head forward and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO on the right. Open the door and watch a cutscene of the area ahead. Head around the perimeter and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK, UZI AMMO, SHOTGUN AMMO, UZI AMMO in the north/east pool and SMALL MEDIPACK in the south pool.

 

Main Hub - East Doors

Open the east door on the right and pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK. Exit and open the east door on the left. Drop into the pool south/east. Swim west to the end and surface. Climb out and up the ladder. Climb the ladder north/west and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and LARGE MEDIPACK. Head north/east and climb the ladder behind the large tree. Take a running jump and grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and grab the ledge ahead. Pull up, head part way through the opening and pull the wall switch on the left raising a grated platform outside. Head east through the opening and pickup the UZI AMMO on the right. Take a running jump north/east to the grated platform. Take a standing jump with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing with sprint and jump to the ledge. Pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of an underwater door opening. Take a brave running jump into the pool east and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Exit the pool.

 

SECRET #4: Head south/east and take a standing jump to the block south. Climb onto the block west and jump to grab the crevice in the west wall. Shimmy right and grab the jumpswitch behind the tree opening a door in the east wall. Head to the opening east for the secret. Pickup the SAPPHIRE SPHERE, three REVOLVER AMMO and exit.

 

Drop into the pool south/east and swim underwater. Enter the newly opened door and kick the underwater brick wall to open. Swim through and pickup the STONE IDOL #1. Reverse roll and exit. Swim to the south/east corner and surface for air. Exit the pool and head to the grassy slope in the west wall. Arm weapons, face east and backflip while shooting at an orange ball in the tree. Shoot the FIRE ENEMY continually and watch a cutscene of the 1st fire pedestal igniting. Exit the area via the south corridor back to the main hub area.

 

Main Hub - North Door

Head up the stairs and open the north door. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO on the right and push the wall switch on the north wall. Shoot the stone statue, shoot the STONE WARRIOR and pickup the STONE IDOL #2 he leaves behind. Exit back to the main hub area.

 

Main Hub - South Entrance

Facing the entrance south, head right (south/west) and jump to grab the crevice west. Jump up to the ledge, head to the yellow plant and shoot the stone statue. Pickup the STONE IDOL #3 and jump down into the pool below. Climb out and head up the stairs west. 

 

Main Hub - West Doors

Open the west door on the right to an area previously visited. Open the west door on the left and place the 1st Stone Idol to lower the bars. Shoot five GILA MONSTERS. Head to the west wall to a timed wall switch. N.B. Please make sure to still have two more Stone Idols in inventory before attempting the timed run. TIMED RUN: Push the wall switch, reverse jump with twist (ALT+END+DOWN ARROW) then and run/jump east towards the entrance. Run curving right and jump up to grab the right side of the column. SAVE while pulling up and take a running jump to the ledge south. Run right and jump to grab the chain. Jump off and grab the horizontal bar. Swing and jump to grab the next chain and jump to the ledge. Run right and jump to grab the horizontal bar. Swing and jump to grab the raised platform. Pull up with a running jump to grab the chain before the platform lowers. Shimmy around the chain to face the ledge west and jump to land on the ledge. Pickup the UZI AMMO in the south/west corner. Place the 2nd Stone Idol in the north wall to lower the bars. Enter the corridor and drop into a mini hub area.

 

Mini Hub

SECRET #5: Climb the west ledge and jump up to grab the invisible alcove above for the secret. Pickup the SAPPHIRE SPHERE, two VAMPIRE STONE AMMO, REVOLVER AMMO and two LARGE MEDIPACKS.

 

Pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO on the west ledge. Climb the east ledge and place the 3rd Stone Idol to lower the bars. Head down two flights of stairs and face the north/west corner. Shoot the RED BALL, shoot the FIRE ENEMY and watch a cutscene of the 2nd fire pedestal igniting in the Main Hub. Head down the rest of the stairs and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK by the south wall. Use the wall switch north to open the door. Head slowly through the opening to avoid the falling blocks. Shoot the two GILA MONSTERS. Use the wall switch to reopen the door. Head north/west and drop to a sinking platform. Safety lower to ground level and pickup a TORCH from the pedestal. Head to the north/east corner and take a standing jump south/east to the sinking platform. Jump up then immediately take a standing jump to the upper floor. Drop the torch and push two pushable blocks into the alcoves north to lower a raised block at the top of a column near the timed run upper ledge. Pickup the torch, head through the south door and up the stairs to the mini hub. Jump up to the south ledge, through the south corridor and back to the timed run upper ledge. Go to the edge and toss the torch down to the lower garden floor where you can find it later. Head to the column south/west and climb the ladder. Push the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a floor trap door opening back in the mini hub area. Head back through the north door corridor, drop down to the mini hub and to the floor trap door south/east.

 

Mini Hub - Floor Trap Door

Drop down, climb the block south and drop down south to pickup a LARGE MEDIPACK. Climb up and head up the stairs. Shoot the GILA MONSTER. Jump up and pull the jumpswitch in the north/west corner opening a door south for later. Head south to the middle of the ledge and jump up and grab the jumpswitch to lower the bars. Enter the small room, shoot the stone statue. Shoot the two GILA MONSTERS and the STONE WARRIOR and pickup STONE IDOL #4 he leaves behind. Head to the outside ledge south and jump up and shoot the stone statue across the cavern south. Safety drop to the slope and safety slide to the garden floor. Pickup the unlit torch you threw earlier and exit via the door east back to the main hub.

 

Head to the middle of the main hub area and light the torch on the pedestal flame. Return up the stairs west and head through the west left door. Head to the north/west corner and jump the blocks with lit torch in hand back to the timed run upper ledge. Head through the north door, down the corridor and back to the mini hub. Jump to the east ledge and head down the stairs. Light the wall torch to lower the bars, drop the torch and pickup STONE IDOL #5 from the pedestal. Watch the cutscene and shoot two SPACE WARRIORS. Pickup the lit torch and head through the door north. Head through the opening east with the swinging blade and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO in the south/west corner. Head up the first flight of stairs. Sideflip left, then right to trigger and avoid two boulders.

 

SECRET #6: Drop the torch, face south and jump up to grab the crevice at the top of the first flight of stairs. Shimmy right, around the corner and pull up into the alcove for the secret. Pickup the SAPPHIRE SPHERE, ENERGY STONE AMMO, PARALYZING STONE AMMO, three REVOLVER AMMO and UZI AMMO.  Drop down back to the staircase.

 

Pickup the lit torch and head up to the top of the stairs. Use the 4th Stone Idol at the top of the stairs, take the lit torch with you through the east opening.

 

Multiple Wall Torch Room

Head to the east ledge, use the 5th Stone Idol, enter the room, climb the block south/east and shoot two GILA MONSTERS. Drop down behind the slope and pickup the UZIS. Pickup SHOTGUN AMMO north wall. Jump up and grab the jumpswitch in the north/west corner to raise the platforms above. Take the lit torch, jump up the block south/east, jump the blocks and platforms and light four torches. Exit via the north/west door and climb the ledge south. Head through the south opening, drop the lit torch and pickup the REVOLVER AMMO. Drop to the lower ledge and pickup two LARGE MEDIPACKS and SHOTGUN AMMO. Climb back out, exit and head through the corridor east.

 

NARMER’S DAGGER Sequence

Head out to the small ledge, take a running jump south and while in mid air select the NARMER’S DAGGER from inventory to change the block architecture. Grab the edge of the new block and pull up (crazy right?). Angle to face south/west and take a running jump with twist in mid air. Jump off the slope and grab the ladder on the block ahead. Climb up and take a running jump east to grab the horizontal pole. Swing with sprint then jump, select NARMER’S DAGGER and grab the new block. Pull up, take a running jump south, select NARMER’S DAGGER and land on the block ahead. Take a running jump south/west to the block below. Face west, run off the edge and grab the horizontal pole. Swing with sprint then jump, select NARMER’S DAGGER and grab the block ahead. From the lowest part of the block, face south, take a running jump off with twist in mid air and select NARMER’S DAGGER. Jump, select NARMER’S DAGGER and grab the ladder on the block ahead. Climb up and take a running jump to the ledge south. Safety drop through the hole east to the lower ledge. Enter the room on the left, shoot at the 2nd RED BALL on the left and shoot the FIRE ENEMY. Watch a cutscene of the 3rd fire pedestal igniting in the Main Hub. Pull the wall switch on the south wall to open the gate and exit north.

 

N.B. If you do NOT want to go for the Mini Quest Easter Egg AND you opened all doors in the Main Hub, exit left (west) back to the Main Hub and skip down to Main Hub in the walkthrough. If you did NOT open all the doors in the Main Hub earlier, DO NOT drop down west or you will be stuck and have to reload to a previous savegame. Instead drop down north, head to the north/west corner and climb out via the two blocks. If there is only one block, use the NARMER’S DAGGER to make the other block appear.

 

Optional Mini Quest for SAKI Easter Egg (Expert Difficulty)

Route to light Torch Pedestals (starting from NARMER’S DAGGER Entrance):

Pickup the lit torch you left before and light the torch pedestal. Exit via the north corridor and jump to the west ledge. Exit down the staircase and through the door with the swinging blade. Drop down through the hole in the floor and light the torch pedestal in the north/east corner. Head to the north/west corner and take a standing jump south/east to the sinking platform. Jump up twice then a standing jump to the upper ledge. Exit south then up the stairs west. Drop into the trap door in the mini hub floor. Jump up the block, up the ramp to the outer ledge. Head into the room on the right and light the torch pedestal. Exit, head to the south ledge and light the torch pedestal. Toss the torch south, safety drop down from the ledge to a slope and down to the ground floor. Pickup the torch and exit via the east door. Head to the south entrance and light the final torch pedestal. Watch a cutscene of a door opening between two golden statues inside the north door of the Main Hub.

 

After lighting all five torch pedestals (see above), head back to the Main Hub and head through the north entrance into the newly opened door between the two golden statues. Climb down the ladder, through the corridor and up the ladder to the main outside area. Change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED to change the block architecture. Take a running jump with grab to the block and pull up. Angle to face north/west and take a running jump to the small sloped block. Jump with sharp curve right to the slope ahead. Slide and grab the edge then shimmy right then pull up. Take a running jump to the ledge east. Angle to face south/west, backflip and change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE. Jump off the slope and grab the crevice ahead. Shimmy left around the corner and jump up to grab the ledge above. Climb the block and change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED. Take a running jump with grab to the slope. Pull up, jump with curve right and grab the slope. Leap back and grab the slope behind. Change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE. Let go and grab the crevice below. Swing with sprint and grab the 2nd horizontal pole. Swing with sprint, jump with curve right and change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE. Jump (no slide) and change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED. Land on the slope, slide and jump to grab the sloped column. Change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE and jump up to grab the edge above. Pull up, slide and jump then while in mid air change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED to land on the flat platform. Head south and take a standing jump to the ledge. Take a running jump, change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE and grab the sloped column. While hanging, change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED and pull up onto the flat ledge. Take a running jump to the platform south and a running jump with grab to the platform west. Take a running jump to the block south/west and a running jump to the block north/west. Take a running jump to the slope north. Jump with a sharp curve right to the slope west. Slide and grab the edge. Shimmy right, leap back, change NARMER’S DAGGER to WHITE and jump with sharp curve left to the slope. Slide and grab the edge, shimmy left and pull up to the flat ledge. Change NARMER’S DAGGER to RED. Face north, hop back and press CTRL to land on the ledge below. Take a running jump with grab south to the hanging chain. Jump with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing and jump with grab to the hanging chain. Jump with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing and jump with grab to the hanging chain. Jump with grab to the hanging chain. Jump with grab to the horizontal pole. Swing with sprint to grab the hanging chain. Jump to land on the column. Face west and safety drop to a small slope and flat ledge. Take a standing jump to the platform south/west and shoot the HAMMERGOD in safety. Jump to the middle of the large platform and pickup the SAKI EASTER EGG from the pedestal. Climb down the ladder, through the corridor and up the ladder back to the Main Hub. 

 

Main Hub

Back in the Main Hub, drop into one of the pools for safety and shoot the FIRE ENEMY. Watch a cutscene of the 4th fire pedestal igniting. Head to the middle and drop into the hole in the floor.

 

Boss Fight

Head down the ramp and take a running jump with grab to the central platform south. Head to the end and take a running jump to the golden ledge. Climb the steps into the golden statue and watch a cutscene of the area darkening. Take a running jump with grab to the column north. Climb the column and take a running jump to the central platform. Arm your weapon of choice and shoot the STONE SHIVA. Shoot the next three STONE SHIVAS one at a time as the others seem to only attack when shot. Watch a cutscene of the final enemy. Jump up and over to avoid injury. Land, reverse roll, shoot the ARCHANGEL, jump over, land and reverse roll. Repeat until vanquished. Take a running jump to the ledge north and head up the ramp for a level change.

 

Level 5: Ryu Mountains (1 Secret)

 

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY) and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and UZI AMMO around the room. Crouch and shoot the 1st disc in the south/west corner and jump up and shoot the 2nd disc north/east corner.  Head through the north opening and jump up and shoot the 3rd disc in the south/east corner. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK in the room. Shoot the 4th disc in the north/west corner. Head through the newly opened doors north. Take a running jump over the gap north, reverse roll, take a running jump back to the ledge south/west and pickup the UZI AMMO. Take a running jump back to the platform north and running jump to the ledge south/east. Head to the end of the ledge and take a standing jump south/east to the cliff. Continue south along the grassy parts and a standing jump south/west. Take standing jumps to the grassy ledges south/west and a running jump with grab to the grassy block. Take a standing jump to the grassy block west. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump up to the wooden ledge. Pickup the REGULAR SAPPHIRE OCTAHEDRON. Quickly take a standing jump to the grassy block south/east and shoot the four WASPS in safety. Take a standing jump to the grassy ledge east and a standing jump north/east. Arm weapons and shoot the WASP. Take a standing jump to the grassy ledge north and shoot another WASP.

 

SECRET #7: Face west, hop back and safety grab the edge of the grassy ledge. Let go and grab the grey crevice below. Shimmy right around the corner and drop down. Take a standing jump with grab (to change trajectory) north. Take a running jump to the ledge north for the secret. Pickup the GOLDEN SPHERE, two UZI AMMO, four SHOTGUN AMMO and two ENERGY STONE AMMO. Take a running jump back to the ledge south and a standing jump with grab up to the next ledge south. Jump and grab the left side of the crevice south and shimmy left around the corner. Jump up and grab the edge of the grassy slope above and pull up.

 

Take a standing jump to the grassy ledge north/east. Head north and take a running jump to the next grassy ledge. Climb up west and take a running jump with slight curve left to the wooden ledge north/west. Take a running jump to the mainland north. Head north and pickup the REVOLVER AMMO under the red tree and two SHOTGUN AMMO in the north wall behind the exquisite bamboo trees. Head to the middle of the north wall and climb the grassy block east. Climb the grey block and angle to face south/west. Take a running jump with grab to the hanging chain. Shimmy right and jump forward to grab the next chain. Jump forward to grab the next chain. Shimmy right and jump to the grassy slope. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Take a running jump with curve right to the column north/west. Take a running jump to the slope west. Jump off and grab the crevice in the column. Shimmy left around the corners and leap backwards with a curve right to land on the column behind. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump to the column. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge east. Take a running jump with grab to the walkway north. Head up the stairs and take a standing jump over the gap to a small cave. Pickup the three UZI AMMO, two LARGE MEDIPACKS and one SHOTGUN AMMO around the perimeter of the cave. Pull the wall switch on the north wall and watch a cutscene of a gate opening somewhere. Head west, arm weapons and shoot the WASP. Take a standing jump over the gap south and head down the stairs. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge south. Arm weapons and shoot the WASP. Face east, safety hang and leap back to land on the column behind. Face south and take a running jump with grab to the column ledge. Climb up the column and shoot the two WASPS. Angle to face south/east and take a running jump with grab to the slope across the gap. Shimmy right as far as possible and pull up. Jump up and grab the ledge east and pull up. Angle to face south/west and take a standing jump with grab to the crevice on the column. Jump up and grab the top of the column and pull up. Angle to face south/east and take a running jump to the grassy slope. Head forward and slide down to the mainland area.

Head to the middle of the north wall and climb the grassy block east. Climb the grey block and take a running jump to the grassy slope east. Head east and take a standing jump to the ledge north/east. Take a running jump to the sloped column north, jump to the next sloped column then jump with slight curve left (if needed) and grab the hanging chain. Shimmy right, climb up a bit and jump forward to grab the horizontal pole north. Swing with sprint then jump and grab the hanging chain. Slide down a bit and jump forward to grab the next chain. Climb a bit and jump forward to grab the next chain. Shimmy right to face the grassy ledge, climb a bit then jump to land on the ledge. Head around the perimeter of the cave and pickup five SHOTGUN AMMO and two SMALL MEDIPACKS. Pull the wall switch in the north wall and head back to the south/east entrance. Arm weapons and shoot the WASP. Take a running jump with grab to the hanging chain south/east. Jump to the next two hanging chains. Shimmy to face south/west and jump to land on the grassy slope. Shoot the two WASPS. Take a running jump to land on the ledge south (no grab). Take a running jump with grab to the next ledge south. Angle to face south/west and take a running jump over the slope to the grassy ledge. Take a running jump to the slope north/west and a running jump up the slope north. Head up the grassy path back to the mainland area,

 

Head to the middle of the north wall and climb the grassy block east. Climb the grey block and angle to face south/west. Take a running jump with grab to the hanging chain. Shimmy right and jump forward to grab the next chain. Jump forward to grab the next chain. Shimmy right and jump to the grassy slope. Head west to the edge to the rightmost side and take one step sideways. Slide down the slope then jump at the very end. Slide and grab the edge and slide to land on a grassy ledge. Pickup the DOGGETT EASTER EGG. Angle to face south/east and take a running jump with curve left, then jump off the slope with slight curve left to land on a flat grey ledge. Angle to face north/east and take a standing jump to the slope. Slide and grab the edge then shimmy right around the corner and pull up into a grassy alcove. Pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO. Head through the open gates and use the Regular Sapphire Octahedron in the west wall receptacle. Enter the newly opened gate for a level change.

 

Level 6: Ryu Temple (3 Secrets)

 

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Head up the stairs and jump up to grab the ceiling trap door. Climb into the room and shoot the SPACE GUARD and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK they leave behind. Pickup the REVOLVER AMMO in the next room and climb the stairs. Take a running jump with grab to the wooden ledge south and pull up. Shoot the SPACE GUARD and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK they leave behind. Push the button on the south wall and watch a cutscene of a gate opening somewhere. Exit the room and drop to the lower room.

 

SECRET #8: Head to the south wall and through the hidden opening behind the picture for the secret. Pickup the GOLDEN SPHERE, two SMALL MEDIPACKS and two REVOLVER AMMO then exit.

 

Drop down into the south/east floor opening. Head through the newly opened gate and shoot the SPACE GUARD. Head down the staircase and drop into the water. Swim down then south through the opening then west to the end then north and then east to surface. Pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a door opening in the temple somewhere.

 

Water Current Gauntlet

Drop into the water and swim left (south) against the current. Swim close to the top to avoid the underwater blades in the south corridor. Swim left (east) near the top, then bottom, then middle without stopping through the openings keeping to the top. Swim left (north) staying at the top and swim through the room with multiple currents through the north opening then up to surface for air. Climb out of the water and take a running jump with grab to the ledge west.

 

SECRET #9: Take a running jump to the ledge north/east. Head east and take a standing jump north/west to the crevice in the column. Jump up and grab to the top of the column and pull up. Jump up and grab the 1st jumpswitch. Safety hang and drop to grab the crevice. Shimmy left and drop to the ledge below. Take a standing jump to the ledge south/west. Take a running jump to the ledge with the slope south/east. Backflip to the slope and jump to grab the 2nd jumpswitch to open the gate. Enter the alcove for the secret and pickup the PARALYZING STONE AMMO, five UZI AMMO and the GOLDEN SPHERE then exit. Take a running jump north/west back to the ledge.

 

Take a running jump to the ledge north/east. Head east and take a standing jump north/west to the crevice in the column. Jump up and grab to the top of the column and pull up. Head to the flaming pedestal, face north, slide back then backflip to the slope behind. Jump forward and grab the edge of the hole in the ceiling and pull up. Head back up the stairs and shoot the SPACE GUARD. Climb back up through the ceiling trap door to the main temple area.

 

Outside Courtyard

Head into the courtyard and shoot the two CROCODILES. Head to the north/west corner and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Shoot the WASP (if triggered). Climb the blocks on the east side and take a standing jump with grab to the ledge east. Pull up and shoot the WASP (if triggered). Drop east to the walkway below. Shoot two more WASPS (if triggered). Head north and open the door. Open the door on the right (east) and head down the stairs. Push/pull the pushable object between the two windows in the wall south opening a door. Head through the door east, keep to the right and jump up the blocks while avoiding the blades. Head to the right and pickup the DESERT EAGLE and LASERSIGHT from the pedestal west. Head to the east wall, reach into hole and watch a cutscene outside. Exit the room, take standing jumps from the left side down the blocks to the lower room. Shoot the CROCODILE, exit up the stairs and through both doors back to the walkway south. Just outside the door, take a running jump with grab to the ledge east. Pull up and take standing jumps to the next few ledges and a running jump with grab to the ledge on the end. Take a standing jump to the grassy slope south/east.

 

SECRET #10: Head south between the 1st and 2nd windows and safety drop to the grassy slope below. Crawl through the crawlspace for the secret and pickup the GOLDEN SPHERE, REVOLVER AMMO, three LARGE MEDIPACKS and four UZI AMMO. Crawl out, jump up to grab the wooden walkway and pull up.

 

Face north and take a running jump to grab the jumpswitch. Immediately jump off the slope to the platform west. TRICKY JUMP: From the leftmost corner of the platform, with Lara’s foot slightly hanging past the edge and Lara’s head in the middle of the railing ahead, jump straight up once (to get closer to the edge) then take a running jump with grab to the ledge west. TIP: If you can’t pull up, slightly let go and grab again then pull up. Take standing jumps to the next few ledges and a running jump over the balustrade to the wooden walkway. Head south along the walkway and open the south door. Head through the corridor and open the door on the left. Pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and exit. Open the next door on the left and push the pushable object straight to the window north. Climb the raised block, push the button and watch a cutscene of a room somewhere then exit. Head east and open the next door on the left (north). Head down the long corridor to a room with wall flames. Open the trap door and drop into the lower room.

 

Circular Blade Water Gauntlet

Drop into the water and swim down avoiding the circular blades. Pull the underwater lever south. Reverse roll, swim north then up to surface for air. Swim through the opening north, then down and pull the underwater lever east. Reverse roll, head through two circular blades, swim left then up to surface for air. Push the wall button and watch a cutscene of the left flame going out in the previous room. Drop back into the water, swim through the two blades and pull the underwater lever again to open a trap door above. Swim up through the blades and surface for air. Swim down through the opening south, avoiding the circular blades. Pull the underwater lever south to re-open the trap door above. Swim up and surface for air. Climb out, climb the ladder back to the multi flames room.  Head back through the long corridor, through the door south to the main corridor. Head left (east) into a dark room.

 

Dark Room

Head south into the dark room and pickup the REVOLVER AMMO. Follow the walkway east, north, east, south and east. Face south and take a running jump with grab to the crevice in the south wall. Shimmy left around the corner and pull up onto the ledge. Pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of a closed gate. Hop back and grab the edge of the ledge. Shimmy right and when you see the crevice below, let go and grab. Shimmy right to the low point then let go and grab the crevice below. Shimmy left a few times then drop down to the block below (some health loss). Slide down north and pull the wall switch on the column below lowering a raised block. Quickly head to the far north/west corner, climb the block and shoot the five CROCODILES that emerge. Head into the opening in the middle of the fence north and shoot three more CROCODILES that followed. Pull the wall switch on the west wall and watch a cutscene of the closed gate. Exit through the opening in the middle of the fence and back to the block in the north/west corner. Take a running jump with grab to the column south. Pull up, sidestep right then take a running jump to the next column south. Take a standing jump with grab to the wooden ledge. Pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of the closed gate. Reverse roll, head to the edge and take a running jump to the sloped block, jump to the next then jump with grab to the ledge east. Pull up and take a standing jump to the block north/east. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge east. Pull the wall switch and watch a cutscene of the gate opening. Reverse roll and take a running jump with grab to the ledge west. Take a standing jump to the ledge south/west. Take a running jump south to the column below (some health loss). Slide down north and head left around the column with the wall switch and drop into the hole in the floor. Push the wall button and watch a cutscene of the final middle flame going out in the previous room. Climb back up to the main floor and head back to the block in the north/west corner. Take a running jump with grab to the column south. Pull up, sidestep right then take a running jump to the next column south. Take a running jump to the wooden ledge. Head east to the edge and take a running jump to the sloped block, jump to the next then jump/slide with grab to the ledge east. Pull up and take a standing jump to the block north/east. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge east. Jump up and grab the ledge north. Pull up into the alcove east. Angle to face north/west and take a standing jump with grab to the ledge. Pull up and take a standing jump to the ledge north. Take a running jump to the ledge west and a running jump with grab to the next ledge west. Pull up, head west and exit the dark room.

           

Head down the corridor and through the door on the right. Head down the long corridor back to the multi flames room. Reach into all three holes and watch a cutscene of the double doors opening back in the main corridor. Exit via the long corridor, through the door south and right (west) down the main corridor. Head through the double doors south and pickup the ELTANIN on the pedestal. Exit left and head down the main corridor and back to the outside walkway north.

 

Head to the middle of the walkway and grab the crevice. Jump up, grab the top and pull up. Head to the roof south and west along the roof to the end. Face north, arm the Desert Eagle with lasersight and shoot the 1st disc (1 of 3) in the upper left side of the temple wall north to open a door in the opposite roof. Head east along the roof, south along the ledge and drop east to the walkway below. Head north on the walkway, through the door and head into the room on the right. Head through the door east, keep to the right and jump up the blocks while avoiding the blades. Head to the door east and take a running jump to the roof south/east. Face west, arm the Desert Eagle with Lasersight and shoot the 2nd disc high up on the temple roof. Head south to the other end of the roof and shoot the 3rd disc high on the roof of the temple west. Head through the newly opened door east.

 

Spike Trap Gauntlet

Take a running jump with grab to the hanging chain. Angle to face north/east and jump to grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint to the hanging chain. Jump to the slope, slide and grab the edge then leap back to grab the hanging chain behind. Angle to face north/east and jump into the alcove. Head through the corridor avoiding the blades.  Take a running jump to grab the hanging chain. Jump and grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint to grab the next hanging chain. Jump to grab the next chain and jump with grab to the room ahead. Pickup the THUBAN on the pedestal and safety drop to the lower floor south (some health loss). Head through the corridor and climb into the alcove west. Head through the corridor, drop down and through another corridor west. Jump up and grab the crevice in the west wall and jump up to the ledge above.

 

Outside Courtyard

Exit back to the roof outside and shoot the two SPACE GUARDS. Head north then safety drop to the platform below. TRICKY JUMP: From the leftmost corner of the platform, with Lara’s foot slightly hanging past the edge and Lara’s head in the middle of the railing ahead, jump straight up once (to get closer to the edge) then take a running jump with grab to the ledge west. TIP: If you can’t pull up, slightly let go and grab again then pull up. Take standing jumps to the next few ledges and a running jump over the balustrade to the wooden walkway. Head south to the middle of the walkway and jump to grab the crevice in the wall. Jump up to the upper ledge and drop into the courtyard west. Head to the temple entrance north and place the Thuban and Eltanin into the receptacles to open the door. Head through the door and take a leap of faith into the abyss. Shoot the two SPACE GUARDIANS, FLOATING DEMON and the STATUE kneeling in the pagoda. Watch a cutscene and exit via the entrance south for a level change.

 

Level 7: Mountains of Tibet (3 Secrets)

 

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Reverse roll, head south and pickup the two REVOLVER AMMO. Reverse roll and head north towards the Stargate. Pull the floor lever and be transported to a new temple area. Pickup the REVOLVER AMMO in the south/east corner.  Head outside and face east. Head along the slopes to the large waterfall east. Enter the cave, crawl through the crawlspace and pickup the two UZI AMMO. Exit the crawlspace and head into the alcove north. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and push the wall button to light the fire bowl on the other side of the window.  Exit the cave and return west along the cliff side back to the bridge. At the temple entrance, take a running jump to the slope south/west. Slide north then climb the block west. Take a standing jump to the slope south/west, slide and grab the edge. Shimmy right and pull up. Take a running jump west to the ledge with the Space Ship. Pull the soldier and pickup the CROWBAR. Head back east and take a running jump to the upper slope south/east. Climb to the temple roof east and pickup a TORCH from the pedestal. Head to the north side of the temple roof, toss the torch onto the bridge and safety drop to the bridge below. Pickup the torch, head into the temple north and drop the torch by the door for later. Exit the temple and take a running jump to the slope north/west, standing jump up the slope west and a running jump to the ledge south/west. Head west along the slope then a running jump to the ledge north. Jump up and grab the edge east, shimmy left and pull up. Take a running jump to the ledge west and a standing jump to the ledge north/east. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge east. Take a standing jump and grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and jump to the temple bridge. Use the crowbar on the crowbar switch on the right to open the temple door and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK south/east.

 

Mini Detour for SECRET #11: TRICKY JUMP: Head out to the broken bridge, face east and take two hops back from the edge so that Lara is between the two ropes of the bridge. Take a running jump slightly curving left then right BEFORE jumping then jump with sharp curve right into the alcove. Safety grab the edge and shimmy left and pull up into alcove. Take a step forward into the alcove, hop back, drop a bit then hold CTRL to change trajectory and land on the ledge below. Take a running jump east and another running jump to the ledge east. Enter the alcove for the secret. Pickup the REVOLVER AMMO, two LARGE MEDIPACKS, ENERGY STONE AMMO and the GOLDEN SPHERE. Drop to ground level and head west along the river bank. Head south then east about mid way. Climb the two flowery ledges south and the ledge east.  Jump up and grab the ledge south, pull up and return to the bridge east.  Head through the temple north back to the broken bridge north.

 

Pickup the torch, take two running jumps over to the 2nd platform then a running jump to the grassy slope east. Take a running jump south/east and head around the ledge towards the waterfall east. Take a running jump over the slope south. Continue south and jump into the alcove east. Drop the torch and open the door with the crowbar. Light the torch, exit the alcove with torch in hand and head back along the ledge. Take a running jump over the slope west and a standing jump to the ledge north. Take a running jump to the wooden platform west, a running jump to the wooden platform south and a running jump back to the broken bridge. Head through the temple to the south temple entrance. Angle to face south/west side and take a running jump to the ledge. Slide down then take a standing jump up to the block west. Take a running jump to the ledge south/east and climb the temple roof east. Head down the roof east and light the 1st bowl. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump to the small ledge. Take a running jump to the slope east and slide down to the ledge below (slight health loss). Continue to the waterfall east then light the 2nd fire bowl north. Head west and drop to the flowery ledge west. Drop the torch and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and VAMPIRE STONE AMMO hidden in the grass.

 

Optional Mini Quest for STEVEN3517 Easter Egg

From the flowery ledge, take a standing jump north/west then tapping the SPRINT KEY while pressing ALT + UP ARROW and levitate to the upper ledge (some health loss). Climb the temple roof and pickup the STEVEN3517 EASTER EGG. Return down the temple roof and slide back to the flowery ledge south.

 

Pickup the torch and take a running jump back to the bridge west. Take a running jump to the cliff north/west. Take a running jump to the ledge south/west. Head around the flowery ledge and take a standing jump to the ledge north. Slide down the slope with a sharp curve right to the ledge. Walk with the torch into the rope to light it. Backflip to the ledge behind to avoid the boulder and take a standing jump back to the ledge. Angle to face north/west and toss the torch to the bottom of the canyon. Pickup the BUDDHA HEAD KEY from the pedestal. Reverse roll and take standing jumps to the next two ledges. Pickup the REVOLVER AMMO.

 

SECRET #12: Take a standing jump to the ledge north/east. Take a standing jump over the slope east. Safety grab the edge of the ledge, shimmy left along the crevice in the wall then pull up into the alcove for the secret. Pickup the GOLDEN SPHERE, SMALL MEDIPACK, LARGE MEDIPACK and two SHOTGUN AMMO. Exit the alcove.

 

Safety drop to the bottom of the canyon and pickup the torch where you tossed it earlier. Head to the small waterfall east and light the 3rd fire bowl. Head west past the bridge columns and light the 4th fire bowl in an alcove on the left (south). Exit and continue west, follow the river and light the 5th fire bowl in the wall south. Watch a cutscene of a trap door opening behind a waterfall. Head east to the large waterfall. Head to the crevice in the east wall to the right of the waterfall and jump up into the alcove above. Angle to face north/west and jump forward and grab the monkey swing above. Swing north and right into the alcove. Drop down through the trap door. Pickup the ENGRAVED STONE on the pedestal. Exit to the bottom of the canyon. Head back up to the top. Use the key in the temple, drop down, jump the slope to avoid the spikes and pickup the 2nd ENGRAVED STONE. Head through the crawlspace, slide to the bottom. Shoot the FLOATING DEMONN.B. In my game, the EXCALIBUR weapon did NOT show up after killing the Demon but only after obtaining all 13 secrets.  Climb the two flowery blocks in the middle of the south wall and the block east. Jump up and grab the ledge south and pull up. Take a standing jump up the slope south and a running jump to the bridge north/east. Head through the north temple entrance back to the broken bridge north.

 

SECRET #13: From the 3rd wooden platform, angle to face south/west and take a running jump to the grassy slope. Face west, hop back then press CTRL to change trajectory to land on the gravel slope below. Face north and take a running jump with slight curve left into the well hidden alcove for the secret. Pickup the GOLDEN SPHERE, two REVOLVER AMMO and VAMPIRE STONE AMMO. Safety drop to the bottom of the canyon. Climb back to the top via the two flowery blocks in the middle of the south wall and the block east. Jump up and grab the ledge south and pull up. Take a standing jump up the slope south and a running jump to the bridge north/east. Head through the north temple entrance back to the broken bridge north.  

 

(N.B. Get all 13 Secrets and the EXCALIBUR weapon automatically shows up in inventory)

 

Take a running jump with grab to the 1st wooden platform. Take a running jump to the 2nd wooden platform and a running jump to the 3rd wooden platform. Take a running jump with grab to the 4th wooden platform. Take a running jump to the 5th wooden platform and do not stop running against a fierce wind. Run and jump to the 6th and 7th wooden platforms and a running jump with grab to the 8th wooden platform. Pull up, run forward and jump with grab to the ledge that has a slightly lower edge. Pull up and place the two Engraved Stones in the receptacles and enter the newly opened door. Take a running jump over the gap and watch a cutscene. Drop into the hole for a level change.

 

Level 8: Monastery of Time (0 Secrets)

 

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Pickup the UZI AMMO on the left (east) and two SHOTGUN AMMO in the north/east corner. Climb the block in the north/west corner and jump to grab the jumpswitch south/west.

 

West Door

Pull the chain to open the west door and shoot the poisonous SPIDER. Facing the south wall, jump up and grab the crawlspace south and pull up. Angle to face south/east and when the blade passes to the right, run east to the end where the blade will not go. Jump and grab the monkey swing above. N.B. The blade may change position making it hard to grab the monkey swing, so reload to a previous savegame and try again. Swing forward (east) then face north, let go and grab the jumpswitch. Watch a cutscene of a door opening behind the unopened east door. Return through the west door, face the south wall, jump up and grab the crawlspace south. While hanging, backflip with twist and grab the crawlspace in the opposite wall north. Head through the spike trap doors and use the crowbar on the crowbar switch. Watch a cutscene of a block rising in a toxic pool area. Head back through the trap doors and safety drop down to the floor and through the door east back to the main area.

 

East Door

Pull the chain to open the east door and shoot the two poisonous SPIDERS. Head east to the end to a cavern. Take a running jump to the ledge south/east and pickup the SMALL MEDIPACK and UZI AMMO. Take a running jump to the ledge north/east and pickup the two SHOTGUN AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK. Head to the stairs north and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Head through the south door and down the corridor avoiding the horizontal blade. Reverse roll and take a standing jump to the upper ledge north. Pull up and pickup the RED KEY and LARGE MEDIPACK on the pedestals. Drop down and head back through the corridor avoiding the blade. Climb the stairs north through the spiked trap doors, drop east and pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK. Use the Red Key in the lock. Head through the door avoiding the bird blade and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Shoot the WINGED DEMON below. Jump onto the two triangular blocks beside the bird blade door and pull the two wall switches to open the trap door above the ladder. Take a running jump to the horizontal bar, swing and grab the ladder. Climb through the ceiling trap door and backflip to the upper floor. Climb the stairs and pickup the REVOLVER AMMO.

 

Toxic Pool Area

N.B. If the raising block in the toxic water is not up, return to the west door crawlspace south to the opposite crawlspace north and use the crowbar on the crowbar switch (more detailed description above).Safety drop to the ledge below avoiding the swinging spike. TIMED RUN: Pull the wall switch, reverse roll and take a running jump to the raised block. Jump up and grab the monkey swing and swing around the column. Drop to the platform before it falls and take a standing jump to the ledge ahead. Face north, arm the Desert Eagle with lasersight and shoot the gem in the lion mouth in the dark ceiling alcove above raising a platform behind the column east. Take a running jump and grab the crevice in the column east. Shimmy right around the corners and drop onto the platform. Arm the Desert Eagle with lasersight and shoot the gem in the lion mouth in the dark ceiling alcove south/east to raise a platform south/east. Take a running jump to the platform south/east and jump to grab the crevice in the wall east. Shimmy right then jump up and grab the upper ledge and pull up. Jump up and grab the monkey swing. Swing forward, then left and right then drop into the alcove north. Crawl through the crawlspace and shoot the poisonous SPIDER. Drop into the small room and down the stairs. Shoot the shatterable window and pickup the LOOK KEY from the pedestal. Return to the crawlspace, grab the monkey swing and swing to the platform with the swinging spike. Head down the staircase, through the corridor, down the ladder and drop back into the main area.

 

West Door

Head through the corridor, past the guard blades, avoid the spike doors and use the Look Key in the lock to open the door. Enter the room, pickup the REVOLVER AMMO, two SMALL MEDIPACKS and the PRAYER WHEEL on the pedestal. Push the wall button on the north wall and watch a cutscene of a statue purifying the toxic water in the pool. Exit the room, avoid the spike doors and head past the guard blades back to the main area.

 

East Door

Head through the east door and up the stairs north, past the spike doors and through the bird blade door. Take a running jump and grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and jump to grab the ladder. Climb up and backflip to the upper floor. Head up the stairs, avoid the swinging spike and drop into the water now that it is not toxic anymore. Pickup the LARGE MEDIPACK and two SHOTGUN AMMO in the pool.  N.B. Do NOT go through the closed trap door in the pool otherwise you will be stuck and have to reload a previous savegame. Climb the platform south/east and jump to grab the crevice in the wall east. Shimmy right then jump up and grab the upper ledge and pull up. Jump up and grab the monkey swing. Swing forward, then left and right then drop into the alcove north. Crawl through the crawlspace, drop into the small room and down the stairs. Swim down and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO. Swim to the bottom of the stairs and pull the underwater ceiling switch. Watch a cutscene of the trap door opening back in the pool.  Swim back up and pickup the UZI AMMO then surface for air. Climb into the crawlspace and back to the opening above the pool.

 

Toxic Pool (Purified)

Drop into the water and swim through the open underwater trap door north/east. Swim through the underwater corridor and kick open the brick wall at the end. Pull the underwater lever. Swim east through the two circular blades and surface for air. Swim through the opening east, through the circular blade and pull the underwater lever. Reverse roll, swim through the circular blade and surface for air. TIGHT UNDERWATER SEQUENCE: Swim through the underwater opening north, avoiding the horizontal blades. Swim down to the middle and pull the centre and left underwater levers. TIP:At this point I didn’t have enough air to complete the run, so I chose to swim back up through the blades, surface for air then back through the blades again. Swim down and through the newly opened door at the bottom. Pull a 3rd lever, reverse and exit. Swim up through the middle corridor, through the blades and surface for air. Swim through the underwater opening south, pull the underwater ceiling switch and watch a cutscene of blades lowering back in the upper pool area. Swim out and surface for air. Swim through the west opening, through the two circular blades, through the underwater corridor and surface for air back in the main pool area. Climb the platform south/east and jump to grab the crevice in the wall east. Shimmy right then jump up and grab the upper ledge and pull up. Jump up and grab the monkey swing. Swing forward, then left (west) and drop onto the platform. Pickup the PRAYER WHEEL on the pedestal and drop back into the water. Swim west, climb out and take a running jump with grab to the raised block east. Reverse roll and take a running jump with grab to the upper ledge. Avoid the swinging spike and head down the stairs. Take a standing jump with grab to the ladder, climb down and drop to the main area.

 

Climb the blocks north and place the two Prayer Wheels in the receptacles. Enter through the newly opened door and pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and ENERGY STONE AMMO. Head down the ramp, through the corridor and up into a temple room. Pickup the UZI AMMO and SMALL MEDIPACK. Head down the ramp and shoot the WINGED DEMON. Pickup the SHOTGUN AMMO and jump up and grab the jumpswitch on the east wall. Head through the door and take a standing jump to the slope. Slide and jump with curve left to the next slope. Jump to land on the flat ledge ahead. Take a running jump with grab to the next slope south/west and pull up. Take a standing jump to the ledge. Head through the spike trap doors and shoot the two WINGED DEMONS. Pickup the two UZI AMMO and SHOTGUN AMMO at the bottom of the ramp. Head forward and shoot the two SPIDERS. Head through the corridor and shoot the two WINGED DEMONS. Take a running jump to the 1st ledge, run and jump to the 2nd next ledge and run jump to the 3rd ledge. Run jump and grab the edge of the 4th ledge. Pull up and drop to the slope, jump to the slope ahead, slide and grab the edge. Drop to ground level (minor health loss) and pickup two UZI AMMO, LARGE MEDIPACK, four SHOTGUN AMMO on the ground floor. Head to the middle of the north wall, climb the ledge in the column south and pickup two SHOTGUN AMMO and REVOLVER AMMO. Head to the north/west corner and open the door. Head through the corridor and wait for the boulder to fall. Take a running jump with grab to the ledge west. Enter the large room, safety grab the edge, shimmy to the wall statue and drop to the invisible pathway. Head south to the other side, pull up and pickup the GOLDEN KEY. Exit the room, safety drop to the lower level and pickup the two VAMPIRE STONE AMMO. Climb the block and exit back outside. Head to the middle of the south wall and use the Golden Key in the lock. Head through the door, up the stairs and open the next door into a room with a glass floor.

 

Glass Floor Room

Use the binoculars with the light source and look down into the floor for wall statues on the columns.

1st switch: From the south/east corner, face west and head to the 2nd column. Reach into the west side of the column.

2nd switch: From the north/east corner, face west and reach into the west side of the column.

3rd switch: From the door in the south wall, face north and head to the 3rd column north. Reach into the north side of the column.

4th switch: From the south/west corner, face north and use the binoculars in the west wall floor. Reach into the west wall.

5th switch: From the 4th switch, face east and head to the 2nd column on the left. Reach into the east side of the column.

Head to the south door and pickup the BELL on the pedestal. Reverse roll and exit the room north back outside.

 

Outside Main

Shoot the two HAMMERGODS. Head to the south/west corner, face east and backflip off the snowy slope to grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and grab the next horizontal bar. Swing and grab the ledge ahead. Take a running jump to grab the crevice in the column east. Shimmy around the corner and leap jump back to the slope, jump and grab the crevice ahead. Shimmy around the corner then let go and drop to the crevice below. Shimmy right around the corner then leap back with curve left and grab the edge of the ledge behind. Angle to face north/east and take a running jump curve right to grab the horizontal bar. Swing with sprint to the next horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and grab the slope ahead. Pull up, slide and jump to grab the next horizontal bar. Swing with sprint and grab the next horizontal bar. Swing to the next slope, jump and grab the edge of the slope. Pull up, slide and jump with curve right to the ledge on the right. Angle to face south/east and jump to the triangle ledge. Climb the block, face south and take a running jump with grab to the crevice in the wall south. Shimmy left around the corner and pull up onto the ledge. Pickup the UZI AMMO and use the Bell in the lock east. Drop through the trap door and slide down the slope for a level change.

 

Level 9: Eminent (0 Secrets)

 

Turn on your PLS (FLARE KEY). Head forward up the stairs and jump up into the green mist to be lifted to a higher platform. N.B. Do NOT use the EXCALIBUR as this seems to glitch the appearance of the subsequent boss.

Round 1: Arm pistols, stay in the shallow pool (enemy cannot hurt you) and shoot the FIRE ENEMY. Shoot the FLOATING DEMON.

Round 2: Arm Uzis and shoot the two WINGED DEMONS first then switch to pistols and shoot the FIRE ENEMY. Head to a lava warming station to avoid freezing and shoot the FLOATING DEMON.

Round 3: Head south/east to the stairs by a lava warming station, shoot the two HAMMERGODS and two FIRE ENEMIES in safety. Start running against the strong wind while staying near a warming station and shoot the FLOATING DEMON.

Round 4: Continue running against the wind while staying close to the lava warming station and shoot the DEMIGOD.

Watch a cutscene then drop back into the hole in the floor. N.B. If the Demigod dies and the cutscene does not happen, reload to an earlier savegame and try shooting it again.

 

Sandstorm Dragon Alley

Head west over slopes and jump over lethal quicksand. Head through the entrance and take a running jump over the quicksand. Wait for the debris to fall and proceed slowly as more rock debris falls down. Head north up the slope to the entrance outside. Head through the entrance, run against the wind and jump to avoid the DRAGONS fire blasts. Take running jumps over the gaps to the next few ledges ahead and take shelter behind the wall with the fire bowl. Continue running against the wind jumping over gaps then aim and jump over the two sloped blocks. Continue running then jump over three sloped blocks and grab the edge of the ledge ahead. Shimmy left, pull up and jump to the sloped block and jump to the safe ledge ahead. Watch a cutscene and credits (or hit ESC) then a final cutscene to end the level.
