After sliding down the ramp, loop around to the right of the ramp to find some flares. Let's explore the vicinity of the temple entrance: there are two bird blocks flanking the stone pathway, drag them onto the nearby marked tiles to reveal two ropes elsewhere, then proceed to the right hand side of the entrance to find a sloped block. Push the button on its backside and a block rises elsewhere as well.

Now go to the opposite side of the area to find a closed gate in the corner. Just in the outer wall there's a jump switch to open said gate, go inside and down the slope to find a small building. Notice a lock inside, we'll be back later on, for now head to the back end and climb up the ladder, then backflip to the upper level. Follow the balcony to the left end for more flares, then walk across that tightrope. Climb up the ladder to find a lever, which opens the main temple door, and some flares inside the shatterable vases. Go back down the ladder and safety drop to the floor to retrace your steps to the beginning of the level.

As you cross the temple door threshold, a gladiator and a lion form an impromptu alliance to take you down. In a dark nook on the right hand side of the room there are some shotgun shells. On the opposite side, find that block you've raised earlier on. Pull up to the upper floor, find some more shells behind the empty pedestal, and use both ropes to swing across to the other side of the room. On the upper ledge there, find the QUATEX TEMPLE KEY Q on the pedestal, then get back outside and down that side passage through the open gate.

Use the key inside that building to open an underwater gate in the nearby pool. Swim to the other end and pull out of water, then jump into the opening in the wall and drop down on the other side. Gun down three lions which inhabited this place then head to the back side of the room, where you'll find a narrow alcove behind a wall to the right of the pit. Pull up onto the wall by using the slight sandy slope as a boost.

Ignore the crevice on the wall spanning over the pit — it leads to the end of the level. For now, turn around and jump to the next platform. If you look straight ahead, you'll see a massive vase perched atop the next platform, do a long running jump there and shatter it to reveal the SHOTGUN plus ammo. Drop back down and climb back up the same way; this time around, use the monkey swing to get across to the other side of the room.

Go left and use the pole on the wall to swing to a platform above the entrance. Shatter some vases there to reveal a scroll (apparently, the only SECRET in this level). Jump back and now go that crevice on the opposite end of the room, drop inside and push open the blue doors. Slide down the slope to wrap things up here.
