NOTE: I have listed no secrets or pickups (unless the pickup is in a secret or is something that the player needs to perform a task). Sorry, but I feel that players should not be given everything in a walkthrough and that they should just use a walkthrough as a guide to get from the beginning to the end of a level. Everything else in the level should be done by the individual players.
The level starts with Lara standing on a flat block in a sloping passage, slide down to the ledge below. Then drop down to the room below you in front of the big opening. Now head into the passage around the corner into the next room; watch the flyby, then continue on into this room. When you reach the pool of water you saw in the flyby, take note of the closed door up the steps before you and the openings to your left and right. Now head through the opening to your left and up the steps to the next room. Avoid or deal with two skeletons that rise up from the ground to play with Lara, then head to the opening in the far left hand corner and climb the ladder.
At the top of the ladder you emerge on a catwalk above the room you just entered. Deal with another skeleton, then go and use the floor lever across from you. Now head through the door you just opened across from the floor lever. Follow the passage to a catwalk above the room with the pool of water in front of the closed door.
Be careful as you walk along the catwalk, because skeletons rise up to kill Lara. Walk along the catwalk til you come to an opening in the south wall.
Go through the opening into the passage and follow it to the next room. Now run/jump/grab/pullup on the block ahead of you and go through the opening there. Follow this cave til you come to the end, then pull up into a crawlspace. When you can stand, go to the end of this room and pull up to the next room, then look for a floor lever in an alcove on the right. Then use it and watch the flyby. Next, head to the block you entered the cave through and head to the room you saw in the flyby. When you get to the room, climb the block then jump/grab/pullup into the room above. Use the floor lever there and watch a cut scene of a door opening somewhere. Now head back to the catwalk in the pool room and head left along the catwalk to its end, dealing with a skeleton that crosses your path.
Head through the door you saw in the cut scene up the steps and emerge onto a higher catwalk in the pool room. Take out the skeleton and head to where he came from. When you rach the end of this catwalk, go through the opening into the next room. Turn left and climb the small raised clock. Next turn and face the next block, then run/jump/grab/pullup, then face the next block and jump to it. Then turn, face the next block and jump to it; now turn to your left and jump to the next block. Once there, head through the opening and follow the passage up til you came to a tile button.
After you press the tile button, head back to the room you just came from and jump over to the ledge. Now head through the opening to the right and you find you are on another catwalk in the pool room. Follow this catwalk to an opening, go through the opening and follow the passage to a room with a pool.
Dive into the pool and swim through the underwater passage past the first opening to your right. Make the second right, go past the airhole til you can surface and exit the water. When you exit the water, head to the ledge with the vase and pull up to the ledge above, go up the steps through the opening and follow the passage to the next room, dealing with a pesky skeleton along the way. When you reach the next room, use the floor lever and watch the flyby.
Now head back to the flooded room you just left and swim back to the airhole you passed eariler and swim up through it to the surface.
Exit the water on the south side and head to the opening in the west wall and deal with a skeleton. Follow the passage to a room with a blue gem on a pedestal. Take the gem and leave this room through the opening in the west wall. Follow the passage to the next room, deal with the skeleton, then head down the hole in the floor. Now pull up into the crawlspace and head to the next room. In the next room hang from the crawlspace and shimmy to the left til you can pull up into another crawlspace. Then drop down, turn around, jump onto the block, then jump down and go through another crawlspace. When you can stand, go and place the gem in the receptacle, then watch a cut scene of a door opening in the room with the hole in the floor. So head back there and go through the door.
You emerge onto yet another catwalk above the pool room, so head to the opening in the south wall. Follow the passage til you can drop down to the left into another passage. Now go through this small passage and pull up into another passage, head to the left til you come to the next room. As you enter the room you see a pole across from where you are now. When you start toward the pole two wraiths attack, so head around the corner in the back of the room and to the statue to vanquish the little buggers. Once they are in the nether regions, head back to the pole, climb up past the ledge, then backflip into the passage above. Follow the passage to the next room and drop into the water.
Turn around and swim through the opening into the underwater tunnel til you can surface, exit the water and use the floor lever. Now head back to the main flooded room, then surface and exit the water on the ledge with the raised block. Climb the block then jump/grab the crevice and shimmy to the left around the corner til you can drop to a ledge. Turn around then run/jump/grab/pullup onto the next ledge, then run/jump to the next ledge and head through the crawlspace.
Drop, turn around, then run/jump/grab the crevice and shimmy to the left all the way, then drop/slide/backflip to the ledge. Turn around and climb the raised block, then follow the passage to the next opening. Drop/grab/hang/shimmy to the left. When you are able to, pull up into a crawlspace, crawl through to the floor lever and use it. After a cut scene of a door opening back in the room with the pole that got you to this part of the level, head back there with a wraith hot on Lara's tail. When you reach the pole room head around the corner to vanquish the pesky little bugger.
After he has gone and joined the other two wraiths in the playgrounds of the nether regions, head to the door you saw in the cut scene. Go through the door to the ladder and climb it. But as soon as you reach the top of the ladder and are in the room up there, another wraith decides it wants to play with Lara, so head back down and dispose of it by the little statue. Now head back up the ladder and go climb the raised block across from the ladder. Turn left and climb the next raised block, then run/jump/grab/climb the ladder. When you get almost to the top, backflip onto the ledge and go through the crawlspace around the corner, stand and get the gem off the pedestal. Now leave this area and go back to the catwalk.
At the catwalk, head to the north wall and place the gem in the receptacle to open the door next to it. Go through the door and drop down to the passage and follow it to a ladder. Climb the ladder to the passage above, then head out through the opening to a high catwalk in the pool room. Take the catwalk to its end and go through the second opening. Go down to the passage below you and follow it to the next room. When you enter the room notice the closed door to your right, then go around the corner. At the end of this room is a tile button, head there and press it, but go into the alcove just before the tile button and get the laser sight.
After you press the tile button, head back toward the closed door, but turn down the small passage to the left just before it. Pull out the moveable column all the way to the main aisle of the room. Next push the column towards the closed door til you stop, then go around to the left of it and push it all the way to the wall on the tile there. You will hear a door open, so head back around the corner and into the small passage across from where you pulled the column from and press another tile button. Now head back to the column and pull it back to the main aisle. Go around and pull it toward the first tile button you pressed. When you reach the second set of small passages, stop and push the column all the way into the one to your left. Next, head towards the tile button, turn right and go use the floor lever, then watch a cut scene of a door opening on the catwalk.
Head to the closed door you saw when you first entered this room, which is now open. Once through the open turn left and climb the blocks to your right to the top. Near the top is a spike pit, so make sure you jump over it, then continue to the top. At the top you will come to a grassy sloping passage. Slide down the passage and end up back on the catwalk. Now head back over to the north wall where you entered onto this catwalk and climb the block to your right. The pull up onto the next catwalk. Follow this catwalk to the open door at the end into a passage. Head left down the steps, jump over the spike trap and continue on down the passage to a ladder on your left.
Climb the ladder, then go to the end of the tiny passage and drop down onto the catwalk. Follow the catwalk to the other side and pull up into the next room. Now head through the passage to your left til you come to the end of the passage at a room of lava. There is a monkeyswing above you, so use it to get to the steps across the room. Once you are safely there, head up the steps to another monkeyswing. Take this monkeyswing to the next opening, then head down the passage to the next room and watch a flyby.
After the flyby, climb up on the block to your right, then run/jump/grab the rope. Swing over and drop onto the catwalk, then go around the column and drop down to the ledge. Drop down to the next ledge, taking note of the receptacle for a gem. Now turn to your left and jump down to the block below next to the wall (you will lose some health, but it is the easyist and safest way down). Next, jump from block to block, heading counterclockwise around the lava room, til you come to an opening to your right. Head into the passage, turn left, jump over the lava and continue on to the next room. In the next room take note of the odd tile on the floor and the ladder in the back of the room. Now head around the column and pull out the moveable column once. Then go around and pull it out once more, then back to the other side and push it once, next go back around and pull it once more onto the odd tile. Now head to the ladder and climb it to the next room, get the gem, deal with a skeleton and head back to the main lava room.
Back in the main lava room, jump to the block diagonally from the opening. Then run/jump to the block diagonally from you against the wall, next run/jump to the block in front of the opening up on the wall. Now run/jump/grab/pullup into the opening in the wall, then run/jump to the ledge across from the opening. Next run/jump/grab the ladder and climb up to the top. At the top take note of the closed door, then run/jump to the ledge to your left, then run/jump to the ledge diagonally to your right. Now jump to the ledge with the receptacle for the gem.
After you place the gem in the receptacle, watch a cut scene of the door opening on the ledge you reached with the ladder. Now head back to where you saw the door open.
Go through the door and use the monkeyswing to get past the pit of fire to the other side. Once there, use the next monkeyswing to get past the lava pit. When you get past the lava pit and are on safe ground, head to the right and use the monkeyswing there to get to a tile button. Press the tile button, head back across the monkeyswing, go around the corner and out the open door. You are now on a catwalk high above the other catwalks in the first room you entered at the start of the level. After a short flyby head to the opening across from you.
Go through the opening into the passage, follow the passage to a water filled room. Drop into the water and swim to and through the opening to your right. Now swim up into the next room and exit the water. Then climb the ladder to the next room. In this room go and pull out the moveable column once, then go around to the other side and push it til you can push it no more. Next, go back into the water and swim back into the main room, then head east to the open underwater door. Go through the underwater door and follow the underwater tunnel to its end and get the pharaos pillar, then return to the main room. Surface, get some air, then head to the northwest corner and go through the opening there.
Swim through the opening til you surface at some steps, go up the steps to the next room. Head west in this room and to an opening in the south wall. The opening is across from a platform in the main room, two skeletons will try and jump over to where you are, so deal with them, then run/jump to the platform. Now head over to the open door to your left, follow the passage to a pole and climb it to the next passage. Turn around, then run/jump/grab/pullup onto the ledge, then go through the opening before you. Follow this passage to its end and run/jump/grab/pullup onto the ledge with the receptacle for the pharaos pillar. Place the pillar in its receptacle and watch a flyby. After the flyby is over, head to the place you saw in the flyby.
The best way to get back to the ground floor where you started this level is to head back to the last catwalk you were on and fall down to the pool of water directly below where you are. Once you are safely in the water, surface, exit the water and deal with some pesky skeletons. Then head up the steps and through the door to end the level.
