THE SUSPENDED CITY

Start facing West but turn around and look East and notice a high green crawl space that you go into later. Look overhead for the suspended area. Go to the door in the South-West and a ninja attacks from behind. Kill the red ninja and get a small medipack. Go North through a break in the wall and go right to kill a red ninja guarding a hole. Go North and hop to a low block in the wall to kill a red ninja guarding a crawl space to the left. Get into the crawl space and drop on the other side. Follow to an area with a fountain and kill a red ninja. Search the coffin South-East for a crowbar and a music scroll. Go to the North-East corner and climb a ladder. Follow the corridor to a crawl space and go through. Follow the balcony to pry a black beetle off the wall. Kill the red ninja slashing at you while you work. Dive into the fountain and pick up poison crossbow ammo and explosive crossbow ammo. Swim under the fountain to pull an underwater lever to open the door at the bottom of the fountain.

Go in and swim through a long tunnel to pull up and shoot a white vase for a small medipack. Go to the edge of the pit and look to the lower left for a ladder. Climb down and go to the South for secret #1, a large medipack, flares, and a laser sight. Climb back up and look to the West wall for a jump switch. Pull it and a door over the flames in the North opens. Go to the platforms, jump to the right of the fire, walk one tile North, walk one tile West, and walk one tile North for safe tiles. The rest are spike traps. Jump to the platform ahead and then to the door as it closes before you. The jump switch was timed so go back and try now that you know the safe route. Pick up the Horseman's Gem and pull the other jump switch to open the door to return. Afterwards exit this area, go back to the start and go to the high green crawl space.

Crawl in and use the crowbar to open the door. Duck and crawl to avoid the poison darts. Go forward and as you go up some stairs a wraith attacks. Run up the stairs, turn right and run up the next stairs to a bird statue so the wraith dies. Use the music scroll on the stand and a door opens at the bottom of the stairs. Go in for secret #2 and the crossbow. Look to the back wall for a jump switch. Pull it and get a cut scene of a block rising in a corner. Return and at the stairs sides pick up poison crossbow ammo and explosive crossbow ammo. At the bottom of the stairs look South for a high opening. Pull up there and get a black beetle. Duck under the darts again and outside the door look on the left corner for the risen block. Climb in and pull up into a tunnel. Follow the tunnel to a ledge overlooking a room with a pool. Dive into the pool and pick up a large medipack, flares, and the Pharos Knot. The pool walls are transparent so pull the underwater lever on the West wall. An earthquake seems to happen and a block drops on the South wall. Note the skeletons walking around. Get out of the pool and go East for normal crossbow ammo. Go down the ladder, collect four skeletons and kill them. Go to the South wall and down the hole.

Enter a room and use the Pharos Knot to open the door. Climb a few blocks and enter a T-junction. Left are deadly spikes. Right are circular slicers. Go through the slicers and follow to some water. Dive in and swim looking to the left to pick up the Hathor Effigy. Continue swimming to pull up into a room and kill a skeleton. Go West through the only open door. Follow the corridor through another circular slicer. Enter a throne room and kill a demigod. Go East to search the coffin for a small medipack. There is a hole in the North-East corner. Go inside and use the crowbar to open a door. This is a short cut back to the room and avoiding the slicer. Go back to the throne room. Shoot the vase in the South-East corner. Go to the West side. Shoot the two vases and kill the demigod that appears. Go to the North-East corner, climb a ladder, and at the top back flip to a balcony. Notice the door to the South next to a ladder. Go East to the throne and pick up explosive crossbow ammo. Jump to the next balcony and stand by the South side of the wheel. Pull it a minimum of ten times, run/jump/grab the throne, jump to other balcony and sprint/dive into the doorway before it closes. Use the switch and get a cut scene of an open door. Climb the ladder and go East to pry a black beetle off the wall. Use the crowbar to open the door and get down the other side. Take the short cut back to room with the open door. Exit the door back to the starting area.

Now go North into the hole the ninja was guarding. Go in and use the Horseman's gem to open the door. Follow the corridor and see the Ornate Handle in a room. Pick it up and beetles attack, Run to the fountain which seems to stop them and they disappear. Go towards the exit but go to the right and find the pole for the Portal Guardian. Use it and the door opens. Run inside and up a ramp to reach a balcony over a deep pit. The steam clouds are over invisible platforms. Get to the other side and run around until the skeletons awaken. Kill the three skeletons. There is a torch in the South-East corner. Light it from a wall fire in the North-West corner. Now light the pedestal in from of the steps and the top door opens. Go inside and kill a skeleton. Get the winding key from a pedestal and pry a black beetle from the wall. Work your way back over the pit and down the ramp and back into the starting area.

Climb the rocks at the South-East corner and look West at a steam cloud. Jump to the invisible platform and walk West. When you stop, jump to a steam cloud at the North-West. Walk North until you can walk into the floating platform. All these walkways are invisible. Turn around and look West at a black pyramid. Walk and jump gaps to get to it to use the four back beetles. Get the Mechanical Scarab from the center and go back to the floating platform. Pull up into a hole in the center and climb a ladder in South-West corner. Follow the corridor and use the Mechanical Scarab with Key to neutralize the spikes. Continue until you come to a slide. Do not slide but look to the South-East for an opening in the wall. Hop there and in the other room fall into a hole to get secret #3. Pick up a large medipack and a torch. You can stand jump back to the slide with the torch. Light it on a wall fire, slide down and level ends.
