This walkthrough is meant as a general guide only.
It may not include every pickup or secret. There may also be alternative
ways of approaching situations within the game. Compass directions were
not used in this walkthrough because there was no compass in the inventory.
WALKTHROUGH by Lizard Queen
Level 1
The level begins with Lara inside a
high security office building (VCi labs) with another very cool outfit
(especially those boots). Proceed forward, turn left
down the corridor through the lobby and down the green-lit corridor. Enter
another lobby and to another corridor.
Secret #1: Proceed to the alcove
with the fire extinguisher on the wall. Shoot at the extingisher and the wall
shatters open. Enter the newly opened entrance and turn right when inside the
room. Climb the ladder and pull up onto the ledge at the top. Approach the
glass cabinet and take one step back from it. Press the "ctrl" key
and watch Lara's animation as she opens the glass doors, searches the shelves
and pickups up the Golden Rose which is Secret #1. Climb back down the ladder and exit.
Turn right and with weapons armed,
head to the end of the hallway and turn right. Shoot the armed guard and proceed to the end of the hallway.
Turn right and watch a cutscene showing what's up ahead. Head to the end of the
corridor, turn left and shoot the armed guard.
Head down the corridor and enter the 3rd door on the left. Pickup
the small medipack on the shelf inside the
room. Exit the room, turn right and head back down the corridor the way
you came. At the end, turn right and left into the first alcove with an
automatic door. Arm weapons and shoot the armed guard
inside. Proceed around the block in the centre of the room and it will lower.
Climb the block and pickup the newly revealed CD
on top of the block. Exit the room and turn right. At the end of the hallway,
turn right and place the CD in the PC terminal to the left of the beige door.
Enter the room and pickup the VCi key (right)
from atop the computer desk in the middle of the room. Exit the room and turn left,
back down the previous hallway.
Turn right at the end and right at
the first alcove. Enter the room and jump up and grab the ductwork on the left.
Pull up and turn right. Shoot the glass, turn left and proceed partway through
the ductwork. Before reaching the end, turn right and climb the ladder. At the
top, shimmy to the right and drop into the upper duct. Turn right and head to
the end. Turn right and stop just short of the "laser" beam. Crouch
down to crawl and when the beam starts to head upward, crawl through tot he
other side. Turn right and pickup the set of flares
and small medipack. Reverse roll and head back the way you came through
the ductwork to the ladder. Angle right and take a standing jump and grab the
ladder. Climb down, turn right and follow the duct around to the exit. Jump
down into the previous room and exit. Enter the room across the hallway
slightly to the left and notice a pushable block with an "X". Pull
the block out and head to the left side of it. Pickup the small medipack to the left of the block and turn
right. Push the block once and head into the newly revealed crawlspace in the
wall. Crawl into the crawlspace and push the button at the end of the wall. A
cutscene shows a wooden door opening back in the corridor with the computer
terminal. Reverse roll, crawl back out and exit the room. Turn right and at the
end of the corridor, turn left. Head to the end of the
corridor, back to the hallway with the computer terminal. Turn left and
enter the newly opened door at the far end of the hallway.
Once through the door, head left
around the furniture and into an alcove on the left with a colourful block
inside. Climb the block, turn right and drop down the other side. Turn left and
push the wall button opening another wooden door back in the previous area.
Reverse roll, turn right and climb the two-tier block. Turn right to reverse,
crouch and lower yourself back down the block. Reverse roll and before exiting,
turn left and approach the glass cabinet in the room. Take a step back from the
cabinet, press the "ctrl" key (action) and watch Lara step to the
cabinet, open the glass doors and pick up the Revolver.
Exit the room through the door on the opposite side.
At the end of the hallway, turn
right and enter the newly opened wooden door at the far end of the corridor.
Push the wall button on the left opening the glass door. Turn left and follow
the corridor around to the washroom. Turn right and head to the last door on
the end. Turn left and kick open the door. Take one step forward and jump up
and grab the broken tile (trap door) above. Head forward and jump up and grab
the crawlspace in the wall ahead. Pull up and crawl through the crawlspace to
the end until you can stand up. Turn around, jump back and grab the edge of the
ledge. Let go and quickly grab the next ledge down. Let go to drop to the
bottom. Reverse roll and crawl through another crawlspace.
At the end, reverse out and climb
down the ladder to a slope below but do not let go of the ladder just yet.
While still on the ladder, jump, reverse roll and grab the chain behind. Shift
to the right to angle facing the corner with the ladder. Climb up the chain
about 4 times and backflip to the block behind you. Turn around and head to the
other side of the lift where there is a trap door in the floor. Open the door,
angle right and take a standing jump to the top of the other lift. Jump back
and grab the ladder and climb down. Reverse roll, turn left and push the button
on the wall on the right. A cutscene shows a rope lowered near the top of the
elevators. Turn right and climb back up the ladder. Angle right and take a
standing jump to the top of the lift. Head to the corner and angle to face the
chain suspended in the corner of the room. Take a standing jump and grab the
chain. Climb up until you reach the ledge on the wall. Shift to the left,
around the chain until Lara's back is to the ledge and backflip to the ledge.
Turn right and take a running jump and grab the rope suspended ahead. Climb
down to the bottom of the rope and swing and jump into the alcove ahead.
Jump back and grab the edge and
shimmy to the left, around the corner until you reach another alcove in the
wall. Pull up and follow the corridor around near to the end but stop just
short as there is a large slope ahead. Angle left and drop
down onto the slope. Near the end, jump and grab the rope suspended in the
middle of the room. Climb down the rope and swing and jump to the ledge ahead.
Turn right and jump up and grab the monkey swing and swing to the opening in
the wall. Drop into the alcove, turn left and head to the ladders. Climb to the
top and pull up into another room. Move the pushable block with the large
"X" out of the corner and pickup a large
medipack. Climb the block in the middle of the room and pull up into
another upper area. Approach the green sloped corridor but keep to the right as
flames shoot out from the left wall as you climb. After clearing the flames,
turn left and pickup the small medipack. At the
top of the slope, crawl into the crawlspace and follow it around to the end
until you can stand up.
Head to the other side of the room
where there is another crawlspace and crawl through to the end. Turn right and
head around the outside of the glass enclosure to a computer terminal on the
right. Head back into the righthand corner, reverse roll and shoot the armed guard entering the room. Pickup
the ID-card on the computer terminal. Do
not push the button on the wall just yet as this triggers an automatic gun
behind. Instead, return to the crawlspace and climb the block near the
wreckage. Turn to face the glass enclosure and jump up and grab the broken tile
(trap door) above. Jump up and grab the edge and pull up. Head to the corner
with the blocks marked "X". Pickup the Revolver ammo in the lefthand corner.
Secret #2: Head to the corner with
the blocks marked "X" and pull out the leftmost block. Head to the
right side and pull out the block once again. Enter the corridor behind the
block, pickup the Golden Rose which is Secret #2 and exit.
Go back to the other side of the
room and use the ID-card in the slot to open the door on the right. Open the
trap door inside and drop down into the wrecked elevator. Push the button and
watch a cutscene back in the previous area. Climb back out of the wrecked
elevator and back down to the room with the lasers. Go back around the glass
enclosure and push the button. Immediately run through the door to avoid taking
too much damage from the automatic gun behind. Follow the corridor around until
you reach a storage room with shelves. Enter the room and immediately reverse
roll. Jump up and grab the ladder over the doorway and climb to the top. Pull
up and head down the corridor, until you reach a long pit. Jump up and grab the
monkey swing above and swing to the other side. Drop down and turn right down
the corridor.
Arm weapons, move forward and shoot
the armed guard and dog appearing on the stairs.
Climb the stairs, head up the ramp, turn right and climb the ladder on the
right wall. Shift right and drop to the ledge above. Head around the ledge to
the other side and push the button, opening a wooden door below. Arm weapons and
shoot at the fire extinguisher on the wall. Enter the small room and turn left.
Crawl under the laser and pickup the VCi key (left)
on the shelf. Crawl back under the laser and exit the room. Head back to the
outer ledge and climb the ladder down to the lower level. Head down the ramp to
the room below and veer left. Half way down the stairs and on the right is a
door. Climb the block, enter the door and push the wall button, opening the
first door in a previous area. Exit the alcove and turn left. Head up the ramp
and turn left through the wooden door. Turn left and run to the back of the
room. Reverse roll, arm weapons and shoot the armed
guard.
Secret #3: Turn around and shoot
the glass case at the back of the room. Pickup the Golden Rose in the water which is Secret #3, reverse
roll and exit.
Turn left through the door, left
again and climb down the ladder at the end of the corridor. Reverse roll, open
the broken tile (trap door) and drop down back into a previous area.
Turn right and head straight, back
to the glass corridor with the 3 wooden doors. Turn left, enter the first door
on the left and approach the cabinet. Take a step back from the cabinet, press
the "ctrl" button and watch as Lara steps to the cabinet, opens the
glass doors and picks up the second CD. Turn
left and pickup the two sets of Revolver ammo.
Exit the room and pickup more Revolver ammo
left behind by the armed guard earlier. Turn right and exit this corridor, into
the previous corridor on the right. Go to the end of the corridor and turn
right. Go to the end of this corridor and turn left. Head into the first alcove
on the left and combine the two VCi pieces and place into the wall receptacle.
Head through the newly opened door and turn right at the end of the corridor.
Push the button and watch a cutscene of a door opening into the next level.
Reverse roll and exit the alcove. Turn left and left again down the previous
corridor to the end. Enter the newly opened door at the end as the level loads.
Level 2
Arm weapons and take out the lab worker and armed guard in the next room below.
Safety drop down to the floor and enter the alcove at the back of the room.
Turn left and push the wall button. Exit the small corridor and drop into the
newly opened hole in the floor. Head through the corridor, down the ramp and
place the CD into the computer terminal at the back of the room. Head through the newly opened door on the left.
At the end of the corridor is a room
with two suspended tiles on fire. Facing the first fire tile, take two steps
from the edge (see screenshot) and when the flame subsides, take a
standing jump aiming for the right hand side of the tile. Immediately press the
up arrow key and take a running jump to land on the safe ledge at the end.
Enter the next room on the left and when the laser is near the top, run through
the door. Push the wall button by the door ahead and enter. Turn left and arm
weapons. Take out the lab worker and armed guard
in the next room. Head behind the two shelves to the back of the room and find
the wall button in the lefthand corner. Press the button and get ready for a
timed run. Reverse roll, head past the shelves and turn right to exit the room.
Dash straight and turn right at the end of the corridor. Dash through the door
before it closes. Jump up and grab the ledge on the left. Pull up and head to
the end. Turn right and jump up and grab the next ledge on the right. Pull up
and walk to the middle. Turn right and take a running jump and grab across the
room to the ledge on the other side. Push the wall button on the left and turn
left. Take a running jump and grab back to the ledge on the other side. Pull
up, turn left and drop to the lower ledge. Turn left and drop to the floor.
Turn right and exit the room. Follow the corridor back to the main area and
turn right. Head up the metal stairs to the top. Crawl through the crawlspace until
you can stand again.
Head forward to the end of the
corridor and turn right to a window outside. Turn around, jump back and grab
the edge of the window. The wall is climbable, so shift left around the corner
to the next wall and around again until you reach the wall with a window. Shift
left to position underneath the window, then pull up
into the building into another room. Pickup the Blue
Rose and a door opens back in the previous
area. Head back to the window, turn around, jump back and grab the edge.
Secret #4: Shift to the right,
then climb up to the top of the building and pull up.
Take a few steps forward, angle left and do a standing jump to the top of the
block. Pickup the Golden Rose
which is Secret #4. Take a few moments to look around as there is a full
moon out tonight and the view is beautiful. :) Turn around and take a standing
jump back down to the lower block. Jump back and grab the edge of the hole in
the roof and drop down.
Head forward and enter the newly
opened door. Approach the open window at the back of the room and the level
ends.
