Personally I love it when a builder makes a title TR4, as I love to
watch it before starting a game.
Lara stands near two Obelisk and gets pestered by a small spider.
Pull the left Obelisk standing next to the wall (W) once and it rises. Another
spider starts nibbling Lara. Push and pull the other Obelisk opposite, next to
the opening on the wall (N). The door is open now.
Lara says: Hmmm, now I
have to see how to get out off here.
This place is infested
with spiders (small and big ones) so be on guard all the time. In the NW corner
is some revolver ammo and in the other corner, behind the vases you can
collect uzi ammo. Before walking up that ramp, better look up and you
can see two boulders there, ready to drop. I you stay close to the edge of the
ramp you can jump down and let the boulders pass. Drop down at the end and
shoot that dog. Go north and watch the fly by, showing you the way to go.
Climb on the column
right and find a jump switch (E). Now climb the structure west and turn around
and with a slightly curved running plus grab jump to the column with the now
open Iron Gate. A dog keeps an eye on things in there. Get the revolver ammo
and a small medipack under the vases.
Go NE of the room and
enter and use the jump switch on the south wall. That opens the Iron Gate in
the west. Evade the mummy and get the Triomino (Vraeus) on the pedestal.
A Harpy starts pestering Lara and after it is dead go south and at the end of
this room, pick up the REVOLVER and flares (SECRET # 1). Go back out and
into the room where you found the jump switch, kill a dog there and the door
will open when you approach. The minute you jump into the room a ninja attacks.
Climb the structure
west and stay in the middle or else some boulders will squash you. Behind the
first column you see is the receptacle for the Triomino (Vraeus).
Jump on the same column and a standing jump to the next and at the end a
standing jump with grab to enter the new room.
Shoot the vase for
some revolver ammo. In the NW corner is a crawlspace and watch out as
there is a spider there. At the end you hear a ninja and a mummy so climb down
and shoot the ninja. Climb the blocks in the middle of the room and pick up
some flares and the Prisma Star (a cog wheel).
Leave this place and
back in the room climb into the opening west. Drop down and jump to the next
ledge. In the left is a small medipack and in the next, near a vase you
can get some revolver ammo. At the end is a ninja. Under the vase is uzi
ammo and don’t dally too much as there are some beetles on the loose.
Spider room
In the next room there
is a big spider and in the west, all the way down between the leaves of a plant
a medipack. In the SW jump down and find behind the spider web the
second Prisma Star (cog wheel).
In the SE is the exit of this room and after jumping down go west and get in
that crawlspace and find the uzi ammo. Get back up and get down east and
you are in a what looks like a wide corridor with blue statues.
Room with writings
Keep on walking east
and at the end you look into a room with obelisk and water with a nice little
fountain. A croc and a dog scurry around somewhere and under that big vase near
an obelisk you can get revolver ammo. The other three vases near the
writings on the wall; don’t hide anything. But if you put Lara almost against
the wall and let her look sideway you see a little pin sticking out. Put one of
the Prisma Stars there. You hear a door opening, but before you go any
further go to the SE corner and place the second Prisma Star next to the
obelisk. This triggers a dog and another door opens. Now go to the ramp and
pick up the flares. There is a monkey climb there but you also can jump
to the other end (E) and then use the monkey climb. Follow it through and at the
end, let go and grab again.
Obelisk room
Now you are in a big
room with more obelisks and at the end of the stairs go left and get that medipack.
Return to the room and the first hole in the floor (W), find the revolver
ammo and one further down some uzi ammo. The other holes are traps.
OK you’re in for some obelisk pushing. See the different tiles on the floor,
the obelisk have to go there and the ones you have to push are lighter in
colour than the other ones. There are five obelisk so get to it. One is
standing SW, one is opposite that blue statue, number three is north, between
two other obelisks and number four is the one in the NE corner behind two
obelisks. Near the vase you trigger a ninja so keep your eyes open. The last
obelisk is in the SE corner.
Go to the blue statue
and pick up another Triomino (Vreaus).
Climb the stairs
again. There are two ways to get down on one of the pillars. Number one; let
Lara stand with her shoulder to the right wall, hop back once and take two
steps as well, a running jump should get her on the pillar with some lost of
health.
Number two, jump backwards and climb down (about three blocks) shimmy left and
jump backwards with roll.
Line Lara up with a
slight angle to the next block; jump back once and a standing jump to the
slanted pillar. Slide, jump, slide and jump. Now line Lara up with the rope one
hop backwards and jump, slide and catch the rope. Just let Lara swing only once
and then jump to the next pillar and from there a single jump to get the Blue
Cluster (Guardian Key).
There are two ways to
get back to the top (thanks to a useful bug):
Firstly: a running
jump back and another one to the rope. Turn Lara to the NW (angle her with the
opening way up) and swing her as high as she can, she goes through the walls.
At her highest, let her go and hey presto she is in the opening.
The way it is
intended: when Lara is hanging on the rope, swing her once and grab the pillar.
Climb up and from there a running jump to that iron cage and a standing one to
the last pillar. From there do a running jump to the wooden wall (it is
climbable, remember) and a standing jump to the monkey swing and swing back to
the entrance.
Stay on the monkey
climb and now go for the other door on the east wall, near the writings.
First a standing jump
to the monkey climb and at the end stand on that pillar. The iron gate is
closed so jump backwards and climb down. East is an opening and in there is SECRET
# 2, Uzi and uzi ammo. All the way to the west are flares. Climb
back on that wooden pillar and use the Blue Cluster (Guardian Key) on
the right.
Better save your game
as a boulder is looming over your head. You can outrun the boulder but you also
can jump right and let the boulder continue its way. Shoot the vase for some uzi
ammo and climb the south wall to get out.
Room with four
coloured blocks.
Push the Blue block to
the wall north, opposite a gate with blue light. In the NE corner is a button,
Go outside and push the Red block also at the north wall opposite the gate.
Watch out as there is an opening in the floor and around the corner is revolver
ammo. Stand north and a back jump to climb down. Jump down again and get
the second Triomino (Vreaus).
Climb back up and push the button on the east wall in the right corner. Go back
out. Now go for the Green block and push it to the south wall, next to the
gate.
You hear a croc
approaching so shoot it. In the next room in the NW corner are flares,
and in the south is a button. Get out and now push the Yellow block next to the
last gate.
Spider alert as a big
one is waiting in this room. Get the uzi ammo and push the button north.
Enter the next gate that opens and the other one opens when you approach.
Room with a pool in
the middle.
Ninja alert in here,
so shoot them all. The big vase NW hides some flares but also riggers
another ninja.
Jump in the water and
hidden in the plants in the NW corner is the Treasure Key and picking up
that key triggers the door in the west to open. Climb in and a running jump to
that wooden structure, shimmy around the corner and climb down, pick up the revolver
ammo and push the button around the corner and climb up again (camera
shot). Jump back with a standing jump and get east to climb the block there.
Standing jump to the cage and angle Lara SE and take a running jump in the
opening there. Jump in and place the first Triomino (Vraeus) and then
the second one (camera shot). Get out off here and go to the open door south.
Once inside Lara is transported to the second level.
SECOND LEVEL
Do not shoot the small
vases as one hides some beetles, but do shoot the dogs. Run up the stairs and
end up at an underground pool. Dive in but keep an eye open for a croc. North,
near the three coloured pedestal in the water left, find the Asterias
(Hand of Sirius) between the plants. Now swim into the opening west, around a
corner and up. There is a Harpy waiting there, shoot it.
Walk to the end and
turn around and climb down.
Watch out as there are
burning tiles in here, look up so now you can see which tiles are save and
which are not. The middle vase north has revolver ammo, and behind the
middle one in the south is a receptacle for the Asterias (Hand). The
door west is open and watch out as three boulders come down. If you walk it is
very easy to avoid them.
Jump over the skeleton
lying in the alcove and push that block. Find the button and go back to the
largest pit and jump in. A trapdoor is open and better be quick about it as
beetles are on the floor down below, get the Cranium (Golden Skull) from
the pedestal east. Climb out and now go up the ramp north. Ninja alert and walk
at the left first as a boulder on the right come tumbling down. Jump over the
pit on the right side, another boulder and also a ninja will appear. Climb up
at the end and watch for the poisonous darts. At the end you see scorpions
gathering and walk down the stairs. There is nothing in the fountain and a
closed door behind the palmtree. In the opening north is a scorpion and also a
small medipack, place the Cranium (Golden Skull) on the pedestal
there (standing with Lara’s face to the west works the best) and that triggers
a big scorpion. Run back to the door behind the palmtree, and jump in.
Lara slides down, a dog comes sniffing and don’t get to get that small medipack
under that rolling ball greedy (at least I couldn’t get it).
You can run on the ramp east and shoot two Harpies if you like, but the
opening on the south is the way to go. See the fly by and better save first
before continuing.
There are two Hammer Guys in the next room so here is the drill. Run
straight (S) and when a stone wall is blocking you go left, right and right. Halfway on that wall
is a jump switch. A place to rest is around the corner left on a block.
From that block to the
small pyramid south, pass it and keep the wall on your right. At the end in the
SE corner is a ladder, climb it and climb about three blocks. A backward flip
with roll and grab on an iron cage. There is another lever there. Jump off and
in the SW corner is an open gate. Climb up, pick up the revolver ammo
and get the Bike (SECRET # 3).
The thing now to do is
to get out off here and up the other ramp, but it is rather steep. So if you
want it to work better get rid off the Hammer Guys and drive over them (that
worked for me) and line the bike up in the Hammer room and swirl on the ramp
and I seriously hope you can make the jump in one go.
Down the ramp you can
hit a ninja. Follow the road and hit another ninja. Use your Key and either
shoot the scorpion or drive over it. There are even beetles joining the race.
At the end stop and get off the bike, jump in the water and climb out and up
the ladder.
Once up Lara says:
Congratulations, you’ve made it.
Run forward and you
hit the finishing trigger.
