Curse of Empti Wad

Lara was nonchalantly reading the Times, when her attention was caught by a little article written by a reporter in Jakarta about a strange phenomenon.
The article says that the inhabitants of a small island located east of Java have all fled from it after - so they say - a curse has been put on their island, with strange phenomena occurring such as objects disappearing, and even the extravagant claim that whole parts of some areas were becoming all red.

Curse of Empti Wad

They added that these things happened each time after a strange music was heard in the neighbourhood, and eventually decided to flee from their island when in the last attack, the temple of their God - named Empti Wad - had been seriously downgraded. They also claimed having seen undead warriors investing the place when the same music was heard again.
Mmmh, Lara thinks, all this seem to be a bit over the top, not to say utterly crazy, maybe these people used to take Opium and had hallucinations? Nevertheless Lara decided to finish the reading of the article; the end of it speaking of local physicians and various scientists who have examined the refugees, and who have concluded that the islanders could be victims of a very rare virus called RTS [Red Tga Syndrom].
Tga - what does Tga mean, Lara thinks?
Anyway, this unusual article finally seemed to interest Lara now.
She is quite decided to know what exactly is true behind all these curious claims.

Just a Bowl of Cherries

Just a Bowl of Cherries

Lara has raided so many tombs in Egypt. This country, full of mysteries, where mythology seems to be inexhaustible, has always been quite an obsession for Mrs. Croft. Once again, she's back in this country to unravel one riddle and find out a divine symbol: the Hathor Sistrum. For now, she will explore a quiet temple consecrated to the Goddess, Queen of affairs and Princess of joy.

Just Another Raid

In the Valley of Kings archaeologists are discovering more and more ancient tombs. In the past, robbers have robbed a lot of them. Clearing away debris, some of the tombs weren’t in a bad shape. Somehow they also saw that some of them were interconnected. Between all the rubbish they found a few artefacts that were left behind and also a papyrus scroll that mentioned another ancient artefact, the Eye of Horus.

Just Another Raid

They needed that to unlock the last door (or so the scroll says). The Cairo Museum knew that it must be somewhere in this vast complex but weren’t able to locate it.
To avoid embarrassment they asked Lara Croft to investigate, discretely of course.
No one was told of this mission, as there were some other parties looking for this artefact.
So when the sun went down, Lara packed her backpack and went to the hills, where she was told there was a secret entrance.
She only has the one night to find this artefact for the Cairo Museum.

Passage of the Amulet

Passage of the Amulet

It's time to put this one to rest for good. The Amulet of Horus is troubling Lara, as it was in her quest in Egypt years ago.
Lara has since heard of the Amulet's recovery from the Temple of Horus, and unwilling to let it linger too long in the wrong hands, she quickly relieved the rogues behind this of it.
Now she returns to Egypt, in order to take it to a place where it will reside for another few thousand years under the shifting sands and hot Egyptian sun.

Sunken

Lara has heard of an ancient artefact that has lain undiscovered for hundreds of years, on an island in the Mediterranean Sea. After doing some research Lara discovers the name of the island: Skull Island. Immediately Lara starts packing for her new adventure.

The Deadly Sands of Bastet

Several years after her adventures in TR1 Gold, Lara heard about the Goddess Bastet one more time. Some people were saying she was hiding an artifact somewhere under her sanctuary in the Egyptian city of Bubastis.
Lara eventually found the entrance to this place as usual, but when she entered it she was very surprised.

The Deadly Sands of Bastet

The place looked much like the Temple of the Cat she had once explored, but all the cat statues were gone, replaced by others. She also saw some jackals wandering around instead of the more traditionnal panthers. Was it because another God had invaded the sanctuary or just because of the BtB wad restrictions?
She also found out that the sands were deadly everywhere in the level.
How would she manage to get to the artifact lying next to the deadly sands at the bottom of the complex? What places were these four mysterious doors around leading to?

The Killing Zone

The Killing Zone

Satellite photographs have identified an ultra-powerful disintegrator ray, housed inside a military installation in a Middle-Eastern desert. If fired,it has the capability of destroying all metal and glass and will undoubtedly cause incredible devastation. Lara is called in to put it out of action by infiltrating the Base and locating the 'Base destruct lever' (no good enemy base would be without one). As the helicopter takes her into the nocturnal drop-zone, a heat-seeking ground-to-air missile streaks toward it. Just before it impacts with the 'copter, Lara jumps into seeming oblivion...

The Mystery of Marsa Matruh

Lara heard about the powerful artefact 'The Devil's Trident'. According to old Byzantine writings she came across in a library it can be found in a grotto underneath the city 'Paraitonion'. This city is called 'Marsa Matruh' today and is an Egyptian seaport along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Of course, Lara sets out for the city to find the entrance to the grotto. According to the coordinates the entrance is underneath a place where nowadays a building called 'Egyptian Adventure' stands. It is a kind of 'Egyptian Adventure World'. So Lara has no other choice than to find a way to get underneath that building to reach the grotto.
