STORY

Underworld Unfinished Business Story

The demise of the Lizard King has created a dangerous power vacuum that has thrown the Underworld into chaos. Osiris is anxious that this vacuum should not be filled by another evil Dark Soul, and so he has assembled a team of specialists, headed by Anubis, to deal with any emergent malevolencies. You have been requested to join.
At some stage this team will have to venture down into the Maw of Chaos and to the bowels of Hell itself to restore the balance. The only safe way down is via a demonic ghost train that departs from a station located somewhere underneath Castle Orr. Accessing this station, and summoning the train, will require the skills of a specialist called Demon Smalls. He must be recruited.

Recruiting Demon Smalls Story

The diminutive Demon Smalls is the Underworlds most talented engineer. Using the magic rules that govern the Underworld, Smalls is famed for having created many clever magical devises which almost behave like they follow scientific principles.
Unfortunately, his place of work - Demon Heights - has been corrupted by the malevolent Dark Souls.
Demon Smalls himself is also under the same bad influence, so a crack team of demonic musicians has been guided through the Nothings by Anubis and sent to Demon Heights to restore harmony and bring Demon Smalls back to the path of demonic righteousness. You have been sent along as well - as backup. But as the musicians attempts are immediately scuppered by the twisted Demon Smalls its now up to you to sort out the mess.

The best of demonic luck to you!

BUGS

1]	The Torch bug: This is well known to trle -- if you pick up a torch and then drop it and then level-jump - the torch disappears. There are spares and there will always be a torch when you need one - but just note that you need a torch for one action only.

2]	Placement of the Piano Tuning Forks (Not a bug, but players will think it is)
Due to the alignment of the pianos the correct positioning of Lara when placing these may not be obvious. Lara needs to be standing with her back to a wall or to the space below, depending on the piano. Youll suss it out.

3]	Due to a bug with the lower zip-line it is now designed only to work once.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

Thanks to the beta testers: Chris Hales, Jay Sawford, Nigel Sawford & Ted Simpson. Additional testing by Michael Prager.
Thanks also to Richard Szydelko, aka uvavoo, who checked the levels out on a Mac and provided useful advice allowing me to release them with special Mac-version scripts.

Belated thanks to psiko for audio 109 used in The Lizard King. I didnt acknowledge this first time because I thought psiko had used an existing track from a game - which I thought I recognised. Turns out he made it and mixed it himself, lol. oops - sorry psiko :)

Audio tracks:
108: Erik Saties Gymnopedie No 1
109: The Royal Philharmonic Orchestras Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven (a far superior version to that in The Lizard King, in my opinion)
110 samples ambient loops by Sozra http://www.sozra.com/

SECRETS:

There are 6 secrets: 2 medipacks and 4 Lucifer Stars.
You will need all the Lucifer Stars (and those from future levels) if you want to play the bonus level that will eventually accompany the last of the Underworld Unfinished Business levels. (The bonus level will be a combination of expert challenges deemed to difficult for a standard level and a few special set pieces.)

In case any of that is not clear - the bonus level is not part of THIS download and you do not need any of the secrets to complete Recruiting Demon Smalls.

If you are playing for the secrets - keep your last save game to start the next level in the series when its released later this year. (I will supply a save game with that download but it will not include any secrets)

===============================================================================

GENERAL PLAYING TIPS:

*	This level has been split into two for technical reasons and should be viewed as a single level. It is designed to be completely non-linear and so there is no correct or incorrect route - just go where your nose leads you - and explore.

*	Dont be disheartened if you follow a particular course only to end up back where you began - you will not have wasted your time as you will have created a useful shortcut, so that later in the level (when you find key pickups you need) you can return to all the areas youve been to already without the hassle of repeating long treks or tricky sequences.

*	Dont take anything for granted. Familiar objects may look different or function differently to what you expect.

*	The secrets are quite hard to get and even if you plan to collect them all Id still recommend just focusing on the main game for a first play-through. Once you are near the end all the secrets are accessible so you can always load up your last save-game for the secret hunting.

*	Being so non-linear it was important that all areas remain accessible after visiting.
The only exception is the platforms section in the outside area which uses (once-only) lifts and zip-lines to access. Be sure to use the lifts when activated. Once youve left this area there is no need to return.
Local teleporters also allow you to revisit certain areas that would otherwise be blocked off.

* Enemies are few - but so are health packs. Non-secret health packs are even fewer.
