Isle of the
Sun Part II...................by
Michael Bender (Tony Tomb) January 2005
THE STORY:
When last we saw Lara, she had
just left the confines of an ancient sun temple containing
a statuette of Het-Hert,
Goddess of the Sun & Sky. Lara was astonished to find that the goddess was
able to communicate through the use of scrolls, and had requested her help. The
goddess wished to be taken to the Isle of the Sun.
Through further communications,
Lara had been directed to follow a course south towards Sudan, which would take
her through the ancient lands of Kush.
Presently, after a long journey
south, we find Lara resting by her campfire. She has been traveling by the
light of the moon to avoid the intense desert heat, and the increasing amount
of quards who patrol this unfriendly border area between Egypt and
Sudan…….
Player note: Due to script problems and the need to resethub in part 3
of this new series I decided not to link the scripts for Part I with Part II of
Isle of the Sun. Sorry for all of you who may have kept saved games, but this
is the best solution for these problems. However, I did leave you (the player)
the shotgun, and the 2 artifacts so don’t forget to pick them up when you
start this new adventure.
I only found out about the need to
reset the hub when this series was almost completed. This really played havoc
with my story. So in an effort to
keep the storyline intact I decided to leave the goddess artifacts for you to
pick up at the start. However these will disappear from the inventory when the
resethub kicks in upon entering level 3. Don’t worry about this. You will
have them back when needed. And so the learning process continues for this
builder. There are 7 secrets in all.
Enjoy.
