This level was not made and is not supported by Core Design Ltd.
or Eidos Interactive. The level has been distributed in a form
in which only valid owners of "Tomb Raider: Chronicles" and the
"Tomb Raider: Level Editor" can compile and play it.

-----------------
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
-----------------
Please ensure you have downloaded and installed the update named
"REVISED_WADS0110.ZIP". If you havent then you should do so now
as you wont be able to play the level as intended. Also you will
need to know how to compile and run levels created with the level
editor.

----------
HOW TO USE
----------

First you should create a temporary folder and place all of the
contents of "GAMESPY.ZIP" into it.

If you are a Windows 9x or Me user you can run the supplied batch
file named "INSTALL.BAT" to setup the directory for installation.
Once run there should be a "\CORE DESIGN\GAMESPY" directory in the
defualt location of all of your tomb raider games. If you installed
your games or the level editor to a different location then DO NOT
run the supplied batch file as you will need to do everything
manually.

(1) Using Windows Explorer navigate to the "\CORE DESIGN" directory
of all of your Tomb Raider game(s) and program installation(s).

(2) If you see a "\GAMESPY" directory then continue onto instruction 7.

(3) If there is no "\GAMESPY" directory becuase you did not run the
batch file or intend to insall the whole of the level manually then
     continue onto instruction 4.

(4) Create a new directory and name it "\GAMESPY". Once done go into
the directory and create another two directories and call them
     "\AUDIO" and "\DATA" respectively.

(5) Now go to the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor" installation directory and
copy all of the contents in the directory "\AUDIO" to the "\AUDIO"
directory you just created in the "\GAMESPY" directory.

(6) Go back to the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor" installation directory and
copy the file named "TOMB4.EXE" to the "\GAMESPY" directory you created
     before.

(7) From the temporary directory were you unzipped all of the contents
     of "GAMESPY.ZIP" copy "LOAD.BMP", "SCRIPT.DAT", and "ENGLISH.DAT"
to the "\GAMESPY" directory you created earlier or had created by
     "INSTALL.BAT".

(8) Now from the temporary directory were you unzipped all of the
contents of "GAMESPY.DAT" copy "UKLOGO.PAK" to the "\GAMESPY\DATA"
directory you created earlier or had created by "INSTALL.BAT".

(9) Now from the temporary directory were you unzipped all of the
contents of "GAMESPY.DAT" copy "VCITEXTJ.TGA" to the "\EXTRA TEXTURES"
directory of the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor" installation directory.
Its important that you place this file in the correct directory.

(10) Nearly there. We just need to compile the two files that contain the
level data. To do this from the temporary directory were you unzipped
all of the contents of "GAMESPY.ZIP" copy "CITYT.TXT", "CITYT.CD", and
"CITYT.TOM" to the "\GRAPHICS\WADS" directory of the "Tomb Raider: Level
     Editor" directory.

(11) Now delete the following files "CITY.TXT", "CITY.CD" and "CITY.TOM"
from the "\GRAOHICS\WADS" directory and rename the three files you just copied to take their place by removing the "T" from the filenames.

(12) Using the level converter program compile the "CITY.TOM" file to create
our playable level. Copy the resulting "CITY.TR4" file from "\DATA"
in the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor" directory to the "\DATA" directory
of the "GAMESPY" directory and rename the file to "TITLE.TR4".

(13) From the temporary directory were you unzipped all of the contents
      of "GAMESPY.ZIP" copy "CITY.TXT", "CITY.CD", and "CITY.TOM" to the
"\GRAPHICS\WADS" directory of the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor"
directory. Overwrite the existing files in this directory.

(14) Using the level converter a second time compile the "CITY.TOM" file
to create our second playable level. Copy the resulting "CITY.TR4"
from the "\DATA" directory in the "Tomb Raider: Level Editor"
directory to the "\DATA" directory of the "\GAMESPY" directory. No
need to rename the files this time.

(15) Thats it you can now run "TOMB4.EXE" and if you have followed the
instructions carefully you will be able to play the level.
