
1) To play, unzip the folder and double-click the PLAY! file. To fix any resolution errors, just press the CTRL key once after opening the file PLAY! and set a different resolution in "Output Resolution". If the game does not work or appears in strange colors, make sure you have selected "Microsoft Direct3D Hardware Acceleration".
2) If the game does not start, try disabling the antivirus or including the game as an exception. If you see the error message "ERROR: missing library flep.dll", try to install Microsoft Visual C ++ 2010 Redistributable Package (you can find it here).
3) If you see an annoying white bar at the top covering Lara's health bar, go to the "Engine" folder and then to the folder "Tomb_raider_series_fullscreen_border", then run the "install" program to fix the problem. (Program found on pcgamingwiki.com).
4) I recommend using a joystick. You can easily configure this in the game's Options menu.
5) To improve the game performance, open the "setup" file in the "Engine" folder, check the "Soft Full Screen" box and uncheck "Volumetric FX", then click OK. If you experience any slowdowns in the game, also try lowering the resolution ("Output Resolution") and/or playing in window mode ("Windowed") instead of full screen.
6) If you want to play in Italian, delete the ENGLISH.DAT file in the "Engine" folder.
After being at Alberobello and finding the Gem of the Knight with the help of Jean-Yves, Lara enjoys some well-deserved rest in her estate, eagerly waiting for news from her archaeologist friend about the studies he is doing on the gem.
While she is about to sip the lemon tea that faithful butler Winston has prepared for her like every morning, Lara receives from Jean the phone call that she was waiting for. Jean explains that the gem has no powers, but it is the key to access the hearts of the two patron saints of Alberobello: the twins Cosmas and Damian.
The two relics, in turn, will be necessary to find the Sword of Essen, an artifact of the highest value kept in Germany, with which the two martyrs were beheaded.
Lara must therefore seek the hearts of the two saints, which are in an Italian sanctuary immersed in the forest in the region of Molise.
In the splash screen and the first loading screen of the game, two photos of the sanctuary Cosma and Damiano in Isernia are shown, to which this game is inspired.
