Welcome to the Egypt Revisited readme file. its prbably not that exciting.


There are a few things you should know before you play...


The story:Lara found herself getting rusty in all her skills so she decided to go on a little trainging in egypt. 

And thats the story short and simple and yet straight to the point.

Now The ONE thing you must know... The puzzle with the flaming pillars(you will know it when you get to it) after deactivating the flames there is sometihng you must do before entering the double doors if you dont then you will have to reload a previous save.after completing the task that you must before entering the doors the chain will need to be pulled twice to deactivate the flames once more(if you need help read the hints)

**********Hints and tips*********
firts trap:lok for a pillar that is different one that could be pushed.

first artifact:find a switch in the pool room that opens a trapdoor above one of the gateways in the cave area where you shot the tiger. 

water room: in here there is an under water swithc that needs to be pulled find it and its raises a block to reach the switch and flame pillar room. also uderwater is a key get it for later use.

second trap:the flaming pillars you must be quick it helps to aline your self kinda to the side so you can immediately jump after you pull the rope. after pulling the chain jump to the first pillar turn around and hang off the back of it you can drop to a jump switch pull the switch it opens a door inside the two double doors.

now climb the ladder back up and and pull the rope twice which deactivates the pillars once again. jump to the first pillar then stand jump to the second then run jump to the third and immedialty run into the double doors but not to fast or lara will be impaled by some spikes.

third trap:climb the ladder in the hallway jump back and grab the jump switch while sliding grab the ladder and flip back into the hallway. next you need to jump backwards into the hole slide down and immediatly jump to the block to your right a small medipack awaits to help you back to life.

in the small cavern area climb the ladder to the top then turn around and you can spot an opening in the wall back up a bit and do a standing jumb wiht action help lara will land into the cavern.

Fourth trap:next you enter a long passage wiht a key on the floor pick it up yes go on pick it up :) the door slams behind you but not to worry a switch is up ahead. pull the switch and immediatly duck then run back down the hallway and another charges at you turn into the passage back the way you came. fall through the hole this time and you land abck into the main hallway.

up ahead there is the artifact room grab the artifact and leave the area.


back in the main area use the key to access the area with the sphinx kill the tiger and unlock the area to your right. up the passage pull the block over the different markings ont he floor the block is sent to the upper area.
use the elevated sand to reach the upper area and pull the block to the next set of markings opening a door.


after crossing the rope bridge. grab the third artifact and two trap doors fall in slide down avoiding the spikes at the bottom run past the spike walls and into the timed door. get past the stargate and grab the key.

next you need to slide down the slope backwards and hang from the end of it let go to a sand hill that will drop you off safe and sound. now you can access the next door open it.

Room wiht the giant pillar. run down the hallway into the crawl space and push the block you hear the area above you collapseing. run back up and climb the pillar to reack the small opening in the area after the small pool of water and the croc locate a block that lara can climb up on on the other side of the pool run and jump to it. enter the small crawl space timing your crawls to not be killed by the cog. pull the chain and the two gates open.

next push the switch and the two doors open in the hall locate a block that looks different and pull it out of the way dont enter the passage just yet.

Continue down the hall and look up and you can spot two patterns side by side these markings must mean something. now you have all the knowledge you need to complete the block puzzle.


after retrieving that artifact backtrack to the sphinx if you did everytihng you needed to then two pillars have raised making the back of the sphinx accessable. climb them and from the edge of the second pillar jump to the back of the sphinx put he key in the hole and climb back down now the sphinx is accessable enter the sphinx and place all the artifacts into there slots.

Last trap:grab the medikit hanging from the rope and watcha chain reaction. slide downt he area and avoid the spikes in the next area if you found the guns i hid throughout the level battle the horseman and skeletons and tiger. if you did not then run find the underwater door open it pull the switch. exit the water find a door that has opened pull the swittch grab the torch and run to the next hallway.

jump onto the pillars with the torch in your hand  light the torch and climb down light the torch and on the other hallway light the other which opens the doors to the last artifact. Grab the last artifact and the place starts coming down climb the ladder and run towards the cliffs for the level to end.
