Level 1:
Passaggio Sotterraneo
You start by dropping into a room. There are closed
gates in the north and south walls. Go east and pull down the rope (it looks
like a pole). Run and jump into the timed open gate in the north wall before
the gate closes. When you enter the next room, the gate opens again and stays
open. Go to the north-east corner and pull up onto the floor above. Pull down
the wall switch on the east wall and get a cut scene of a gate opening. Drop
down and return to the starting room. Enter the open gate in the south
wall. Go to the next closed gate and
pull up to the east onto the floor above. Pull up to the east onto the next
floor above. Pull down the wall switch in the corner and you hear a gate open.
Return to the room below and go south through the open gate. Crawl under the
wooden beam and shoot the grate in the corner.
Enter the opening and go to the north. Drop into
the water and pick up red shotgun shells and a shotgun. Get out of the water and slide backwards
down the south slope. Grab at the end and safety drop onto a small ledge. You
are in a room with closed gates and switches. The room below you needs a key.
Jump the ledges to get to the wall switch in the south-east corner. Pull down
the wall switch and a gate opens in the west wall. It did not seem to be timed.
Jump into the open gate and the gate closes behind you. Pick up a small medipack from the
corner. Go south to drop onto a ledge and save the game before you break any
tiles in the next room. Run onto the tiles and the camera angle changes.
At the middle of the second tile, jump to land on the tile to the south. The
tile will break and you fall onto a lower ledge. Jump to the ledge at the east
wall. Enter an alcove for red shotgun shells.
Exit and climb the south wall. Pick up the Pink Rock
(Pietra Rossa) and you hear a gate open. Follow the tunnel to emerge
back in the room where you started this trip. The camera view changes and at
the exit, jump to the north-east onto the ledge with the wall switch.
Safety drop into the room below. Place the Pink
Rock on the receptacle in the central pillar in the room. You get a cut scene
of a wheel moving and the gate in the east wall opens. Enter the gate and go
down the steps to follow the corridor to another room with ledges. You see an
item on fire on the south ledge. Go east over the ledges and into the next
room. Pull down the wall switch on the north wall. You get a cut scene of a
gate opening on a ledge above the fire. Exit the room and jump to the ledge in
the north-west corner. Climb to a higher ledge and jump south to a ledge. Grab
the yellow-stripped ceiling and monkey swing to the east wall ledge. Jump south
to grab a grate. Pull up and go to the open gate in the south wall.
The gate closed behind you. Pull down a jump switch
on the back wall. You get a cut scene of gears and shafts moving and you hear a
gate open. Exit the tunnel and go to the north-west to drop down to the floor
below. Notice the closed gate in the alcove to the west. The fire is out so
pick up the Pink Rock (Pietra Rossa) from the
pedestal. Jump the ledges back to the room with the wall switch. Place the Pink
Rock in the receptacle at the east wall. The gate in the south wall opens.
Enter the gate and follow the tunnel. Safety drop into the room below.
Go to the south wall and pick up the revolver and laser sight.
Pull down the right side wall switch and the shaft next to you starts to turn.
Pull down the left side wall switch and you get a cut scene of a gate opening.
Turn around and dive into the water. Swim through an underwater tunnel to the
next room. Get out of the water on the north side. Turn around and pull up onto
the ledges above to get to the alcove with the gate. Loop around to the left
and follow the corridor to the end. Save the game again before the breakable
tiles. Just run around the tiles in the room. On the last tile, pull up into
the south tunnel.
Pull up into the crawl space and save the game
again for more breakable tiles. Safety drop through a breakable tile and land
on a ledge. The camera view changes to make the game harder. Use binoculars to
see where the tiles go. Start to run and follow the tiles and step onto a safe
ledge. Pull up to the ledge above. Jump to the ledge with a wall switch at the
north wall. Pull down the wall switch and the gate opens in the south-east
corner. It is not timed so just jump the ledges to reach the open gate. Go
though the corridor and drop into a hole.
Go to the south and drop into a large room for revolver
ammo. Climb back up and go north to a wall switch. Pull down the wall
switch and a gate opens in the east corridor. Go through the open gate and onto
a ledge above the room.
You see two wall blades in front of a ledge. Stand
to the right of the middle of the ledge. Stand jump to grab the ledge in front
of you. This avoids the first blade but
you may get hit by the second blade. Shimmy to the right and pull up onto the
ledge. Stand jump onto the column. Another wall blade activates above the jump
switch on the west wall. This is just a matter of luck to avoid fatal damage.
Save the game before you try the jump. Do not run and jump for the jump switch.
Just stand jump and grab the jump switch. Pull it down and drop into the water below.
A gate is open in the west wall. If you did not make the switch, swim south to
pull up into a small room. Pull down a wall switch to open a gate. Exit back to
the room and go north to climb the blocks and try again.
Swim through the open gate and pull up into a small
room with a blue circle on the floor. The wall switch in the corner resets too
fast to be useful. Go west into the next room and enter the doorway in the
south wall. Climb a block and pull down the wall switch and return to the first
room. Enter the open gate in the north wall. Pull back the machine/shaft in the
opening and place it on the blue circle. The level ends.
Level 2:
Il Tempio
You start in the same room as the last level ended.
Pull down the wall switch and you hear a gate open. Go west through the doorway
and go left around the turning shaft and into the open gate. Follow the tunnel
and pull up into a high room with many wooden columns. Go to the south-west
corner platform. Stand jump and grab the column to the east. Run and jump to
the column to the north. Stand jump onto a west wall ledge. Grab the crevice in
the west wall and shimmy to the left and into an alcove. Again this is more
luck than skill. You cannot even see where the blade is located. Hope for the
best and run and jump onto the top of the block. Either run forward or just
crouch and crawl forward before you stand up. The wall blade should miss you
now.
Get on the east block and pull up onto a north
ledge. Just crawl under the wall blades and stand up at the end. Pick up revolver ammo off the ledge. Stand jump to grab the
ledge at the west wall. Shimmy to the left before you pull up. Go into the
alcove ledge at the west wall. Jump onto the column to the east and pull up
into a higher room. There is a place for a key in the east wall. Go to the west
wall and shoot the upper grate and not the lower gate to the left. Pull up into
the opening and you can see a key on fire. Make a copy of the diagram on the
north wall. The white squares indicate the safe tiles on the floor in the next
room.
Stand in the opening and face east. Jump up to grab
and pull down a jump switch. Go to your right to enter the newly open gate.
Jump over the safe tiles that you noted from the wall diagram. In the corner
tile, pull up into the upper crawl space in the south wall. Pull down the wall
switch and get a cut scene of the fire stopped at the key. Exit the crawl space
and jump over the safe tiles to exit the room. The final jump is rather hard.
Run at an angle and curve during the jump. Loop around to the left and enter
the room to pick up the Key (Chiave) from the
pedestal. Exit the room and use the key in the east wall key lock. The gate
opens in the north wall. Enter the open gate and it closes behind you.
Go north and enter a large room. Use the revolver
and laser sight to shoot the ball in the upper ceiling in the north direction.
The shaft at the north wall starts to turn and the gate opens in the west wall.
Enter that open gate and follow the tunnel to a small room. The red tiles are
fire traps. Run and jump over the platform to the south wall switch. Blades
will slice the air behind you. Pull down the wall switch and exit the room. Go
south and pull up into a crawl space. The wall switch stopped the fire that was
here earlier. Crawl forward and stand up. Pull down the jump switch on the
north wall. Exit back to the big room and see that the second shaft is turning.
The gate is open in the east wall.
Enter the open gate and follow the tunnel. Jump to
the safe corner and pick up red shotgun shells.
Stand on the ledge and run and jump east to land on the corner tile. The fire
stops so you can pick up the Pink Rock (Pietra Rossa).
Run and jump back to the safe entrance corner. Exit the room and place the Pink
Rock in the receptacle on the north wall between the two turning shafts. You
get a cut scene of a wall dropping. Return to the east wall tunnel and climb
the wall at the end. Safety drop into the next room. Pull up into the crawl
space in the upper north-west corner of the room. Stand up at the end and turn
around. Climb another wall and emerge in front of a building in an outdoor
area.
Go east to enter the building and be careful of the
hole in front of the doorway. Run to the end and see a pool and a gate that
needs two items. Go to the south-west corner and back flip off the slope to
grab the upper ledge to the north. Go north and climb the ladder to get onto
the upper floor. Pick up Pink Rock #1 (Pietra Rossa)
from the pedestal. Run and jump into the alcove at the south-west corner wall.
Pick up a small medipack for secret #1. Jump back to the upper floor. Go to the
north-east corner. Jump back and pull down a jump switch. You get a cut scene
showing an underwater block dropping. Dive into the water and swim into the
underwater tunnel in the south wall. Go to the end and pull up into a spooky
cave with a scarecrow on a hill. Go south to the ledge behind the scarecrow.
Pick up Pink Rock #2 (Pietra Rossa) from the
pedestal. Swim back to the building and place the two Pink Rocks to open two
doors in the east wall.
Go through the doors and you are in a room with a
pool. The pool has an underwater tunnel but the door is closed. Notice the
closed door behind the fire in the south-east corner. Behind the window is a
similar room with a pool. Go east through the open doorway. Run over the
breakable tiles and jump up to grab a crevice. Shimmy to the left and pull up
into a crawl space. On the other side, shimmy to the left and drop onto a safe
ledge above deadly water. Run and jump to the south and grab the edge of the
breakable tile. Do not pull up onto the tile. Just shimmy to the left to pull
up onto a safe ledge. Climb the ladder on the south wall and pull up into a
corridor.
Go west and pull down the wall switch. You hear a
door opening. Continue west and climb up onto a block. Jump forward to grab and
down a wall ladder. You are in the room you saw from the window. Notice the
open door on the south ledge. Go into the north-west corner alcove and pull
down the wall switch. This opens the door in the north wall. Go through the
door to get back to the first room. Dive into the pool and swim through the
short underwater tunnel to enter a small room. Pick up red
shotgun shells and revolver ammo for
secret #2. Get out of the pool and return to
the south room.
Jump up on the south ledge and enter the open door.
Inside is another scarecrow next to a closed door. Follow the south tunnel to a
small room. Pick up the artifact #1 (Artefatto)
that is suspended in mid-air. Return to the scarecrow and the door is open.
Enter the alcove and pull down the wall switch and the level ends.
Level 3: Dentro il Templio
You are with a flyby of the area. You are in the
room from the last level and you have started an earthquake. Jump over the lava
and go south north. When you enter the second north room, the earthquake stops.
Go west to exit the building. I had a lot of annoying flash blackouts in the
graphics. Exit the building and be careful of the empty pit. Go to the
north-west corner and use the small slope to pull onto the ledge at the north
wall. Get on the pillar and jump south to the next pillar. Jump to the west
wall ledge and climb the ladder to the top floor. Go north a little and drop
into the hole in the west wall. You land in a corridor. Follow the corridor and
slide down a long slope.
You land on a ledge and get a cut scene of a room
and places for missing artifacts. Drop into the room and see a closed gate in
the east wall. Go south behind the cage for red
shotgun shells. Exit and be careful of the fire at the rope. Follow the
corridor in the west wall. You enter a small room with a hole containing a
closed gate and key lock. Go south to pick up a shotgun
near the wall. Pull down the wall switch in the south corner. You get a cut
scene of the cage door opening. Return to the cage and shoot the vase. Pick up
a Key (Chiave) from the pedestal. Return to the
hole and safety drop into it.
Use the key and the gate opens. Enter the room and
go north into the next room. Go to the north-east corner and pull down the wall
switch. You hear a gate open and some floor tiles are now on fire. Jump onto
the safe no-fire floor tiles and enter the alcove. Pick up artifact #2 (Artefatto) that is suspended in mid-air.
Jump to the safe no-fire floor tile near the entrance and exit the room. Go
back to the hole and climb the west wall. Return to the starting room and
notice that the fire has stopped at the rope. Pull down the rope and the gate
opens in the east wall.
Enter the east gate and safety drop into the
corridor below. There is a closed gate to the west. Behind that closed gate are
the artifact receptacles. This area is a collection of connecting and short
dead-end corridors. Go east, south, and east again. Go to the south and you
should see a blue-lit floor area far ahead of you. Go there and turn to the left.
Pull down the wall switch in the corner and get a cut scene of the artifact
receptacle room gate opening. Return through the corridors and enter the room.
Two pedestals are fine but a third pedestal is on fire. Place the two artifacts
on the two safe pedestals. Dive into the water and swim through the two gates
that you opened.
Pull up into a room with two poles. Climb the south
pole and back flip into a tunnel. Be careful of floor scissor blade traps and
follow the tunnel to face a floor blade. Jump over the floor blade and land in
a north alcove. Turn around and jump to grab a wall ladder. Climb the wall and
notice the many wall blades that start slicing. Shimmy to the left onto a safe
floor. Notice the artifact behind the fancy wall. Climb up the west wall to get
between the wall blades. Shimmy to the right and get on the tile between the
wall blades. Again it is a matter of luck with the blade timing. Back flip,
roll, and grab the wall behind you. You should grab the wall above another
floor blade. Climb the wall to the top and shimmy to the right into an alcove.
Pick for flares for secret
#3.
Climb down the wall to get between wall blades.
Shimmy to the right and climb down the safe wall section near the artifact.
Pick up artifact #3 (Artefatto) and the gate
opens at the end of the corridor in the west. Follow the corridor and climb
down a ladder to return to the artifact receptacle room. Be careful of the pit
in the floor. The water is gone and you cannot get back out if you fall in. You
can easily shoot two skeletons into the pit. Go
to the south wall and place the last artifact on the receptacle. The wall to
your left descends. Enter the opening and slide down the slope.
Pick up flares and climb the pole to the top. Back
flip into a room and shoot two winged creatures.
A single revolver bullet is enough to kill each one. There are three closed
gates in the south wall. Go west to behind the structure with the red
decoration. Pull down two jump switches on the structure. This opens two gates
in the south wall. Enter the two alcoves and pull down the two wall switches.
This opens the last gate in the south wall and the gate behind it. You can
shoot two skeletons into the hole by the pole.
Or just run to the open gates and slide down a slope into a tunnel.
Run down the tunnel an earthquake happens. The
camera view changes as the tunnel collapses behind you. At the end of the
tunnel, climb onto the green block. Turn around to climb another block. Pull up
to the west to enter a cave. There is an opening to an outdoor area to the
west. Go through the opening and safety drop into the pit. Go west over the
bridge to the west wall. If you fall into the water you can pull up at the
north side to get out of the water.
On the south wall are three wall switches. They
open timed underwater gates in the water pool.
Notice the pictures to the left of the wall switches are numbered as I,
II, and III. Pull switch #II and turn to dive into the pool. Swim down the hole
in the floor under the bridge and into another underwater cave where the timed
gates are located. The gates have pictures with the numbers underneath them.
Swim into gate #II and pull down the underwater lever on the wall. You get a
cut scene of a gate opening. Swim back up the hole and surface. Swim to the
north side to get out of the water.
Wall switches #I and #III just seem to lead to empty underwater caves.
Go to the north-west corner and follow the tunnel
through the open gate. Follow the tunnel to exit near a helicopter. Run to the
helicopter and the level ends.
