Destroy City
Level by Slaska
Walkthrough by DJ Full
NOTE:
Just like in Aldwych level (TR3),
following the railway in the purpose of getting out of the gameplay
area results in instant death.
Go ahead and kill an SAS. Eliminate another one, standing on the railway.
Follow the extremely long crawlspace on the left of the place when the first
SAS appeared. When you reach the room with three shallow pits, exit through the
hole in the NW corner and pull the dead body lying at the very end of the
corridor to find an electronic device under it. Grab it and return to the
railway part. Pick up a medikit from the place on the
other side of the track, to the W of the crawlspace. The sentry shouldn't see you
now, so don't move from this place yet but notice the blue ball hanging on the
NW. SWITCH TARGETING TO MANUAL, jump up and shatter the ball to open the door
on the other side of the location, behind the sentry. Now beware of it and get
out of its range by escaping towards the door. Pick up a medikit
from in front of it and go through the portal. Get to the bottom of the ramp
and find a detonator in the dark. Combine it with the electronical
device you already have (Load + Load = Load). Few meters to the W there are
also Uzi lying on the floor. Keep close to the pillars of the dark location of
the station, doing a full circle around it. While doing this, you should pick
up some Uzi clips (4 times) and meet 3 SASes, both of
whom drop more Uzi ammo. You should collect 240 uzi
rounds in total here, including the ammo you get when collecting the gun
itself. Also, find another detonator in one of the corners, behind the pillar.
And collect a small medi from near the pit in the
middle of the room before you perform the final EPA.
EPA (Extra Percussion Achievement)
If you draw the pistols and hold the fire key for constant shooting, you get
the beat with its tempo PERFECTLY fitting the background song. So adjust the
SFX volume, hold the Fire key and make some extra percussion by shooting
constantly. One thing disturbs my mind: if Slaska
intended this to happen. If she did, it fully explains why she used Kelly
Clarkson's song instead of ambient soundtrack.
There is nothing more to listen to here, so leave this place by jumping into
the pit in the middle of the room. That kills Lara and gets you back to main
menu.
