TR2 TEST LEVEL - EXAMPLE LEVEL by TURBO PASCAL

Before you make any move at all, draw your weapons! Because when you leave the small room, you will be attack by four white tigers (1,2,3,4). Shoot them to survive. Go to the next room and explore it. In the corner you can pick the automatic pistols (1) and 4 automatic gun shells (2,3,4,5). Now walk towards to water and jump it. When the barracuda's come close to you. Get out and try to shoot them. Jump in and repeat the whole sequence. Shoot four barracuda's (5,6,7,8). Now dive into the water again and find the underwater passage. Follow it and emerge from the water in another room. Do the same trick here with the barracuda's (9,10,11,12). Kill all four of them. With just 8 barracuda's killed, you can start a barbeque. Pick the large Medi Pack (6) before you enter the next room. Just arm yourself with the automatic pistols... In the next room you will battle for your live, because the room is just full of yeti's! (12,14,15,16,17,18,19).Yeti's, yes, seven of them. Kill them with your automatic pistols. Now when you have survived, flip the switch and enter the next passage. Don't put you guns away. At the end of the hallway, two white tigers (20,21) will attack you. Show no mercy!. Now you need to move the back moveable block to the other side of the passage. When you have done so, climb the blocks and flip the switch. Go back to the other side of the passage and you will see that the door is open. In the next room you must jump from pillar to pillar and jump down. SAVE your game and draw your automatic pistols again, because in the other room you need to kill again 3 yeti's (22,23,24). When you have killed them, go to the back op the white 'snow' hill and pickup a large Medi Pack (7). Then go the corner with the closed door and flip the switch. The large door will open and you can enter the next room. Jump from the opening on the yellow pillars on your right. You can else explore the bottom if you like, but there is nothing. Continue jumping on the yellow pillars until you can enter a new room. Jump from pillar to pillar and make your way downwards.  When you have walked to the slope, explore the ground and pick up an Uzi (8) with some Uzi Clips. (9,10,11,12). Now arm yourself again. It's time for the final battle. There is no way back. He will not stop for a door opening. So be ware that you can't hide in another room! Run into the last room and meet the.... Bird Monster! It is great, mad and dangerous. Run and fire at will.... Don't let the Bird Monster (25) take you.... Kill it with your Uzi. After that the test level is finished.... Great test level to play!

TR2 TEST LEVEL - OPERA "LIGHTING" TEST ROOM by TURBO PASCAL

This what you can call a real test room. It only exists out of 1 room. So there's not much danger or excitement in this test room. The only thing you can learn here is how Turbo used the lighting in this room. Learn from it.

TR2 TEST LEVEL - MANUAL PORTAL TRICK by TURBO PASCAL

This example test level from Turbo shows you how you can use the 'manual portal'. In this case when Lara walk through a 'normal looking' opening for one room to the other. You will see that at the moment Lara comes in the other room, this opening is 'gone'. There is no way back for Lara thru that opening. This might come in handy one some parts of the level. It is up to Lara to find another opening.

TR2 TEST LEVEL - PORTAL TRICK by TURBO PASCAL

Yet another wise lesson by Turbo. This time he shows us how to use the portal trick. At the start you are looking at two openings with different rooms behind it. Just go in one of it and notice that this room is greater then you thought, because you thought the wall between the left and the right corner is exactly between the two openings. No way... you can even go to another room. And if you walked through that room also, you come into the starting room again... just one block away from the opening where you started this whole portal trick. This is what they called Illusion... Magic.... Maybe someday I will know how Turbo did this trick.
