Lara drops down into a pool beside the Great Wall of China. The shotgun is already in her inventory. Before surfacing, pick up flares and the UZIS. Pull out and shoot a tiger, and look around at floor level for shotgun ammo and a small medipack. Ignore the canyon wall opening for now and climb the corner blocks next to the Great Wall. Hop up to the opening and pull up to the ramparts. Shoot two vultures and note the wall switch that's out of reach. Find the nearby pushblock and move it under the switch. Pull it down to open the nearby door that leads to SECRET #1 and flares, shotgun ammo and uzi ammo.

 

Run to the other end of the bridge, stand on the left corner block and take a running jump to the ledge with the shotgun ammo you can see in the distance. Pick it up, walk toward the canyon wall and take two standing jumps in quick succession to bounce off a slope and land in a corner alcove with a wall switch. Pull it down to open the door opposite the secret door. Slide to the ground, climb the corner blocks back up to the Great Wall and enter the doorway.

 

Pull up left for the EXCAVATION KEY, which alerts a guard. Get back down, deal with him and get back down to the canyon floor. Now it's time to go through that triangular wall opening you saw earlier. Hop down to the lower ledge and jump to the corner block to your right for flares. Get to the floor and climb the other corner block for shotgun ammo.  Locate the corner button and push it to open the gate to a parking area. Shoot the guard and use the Excavation Key to open the gate. Be prepared to deal with two more guards waiting inside.

 

Note the closed gate, find the wall switch in the alcove and pull it down to open a trap door that was blocking a ladder near one of the trucks. Climb the ladder to an upper ledge. Follow the ledge around, shimmying past an obstacle, and continue past a campfire to a button in the far corner. Push it to open the gate in the room you accessed with the Excavation Key, safety drop to the floor and go there for SECRET #2. Pick up the flares, shotgun ammo, uzi ammo and MP5 clips and climb back up the ladder. Make the clockwise circuit once again and go to the large opening near the campfire.

 

Jump to the ledge on your right, noting the closed gate, and hop the flat spots to get to the other end. Jump down to a gray block and pull up left. Stand jump to grab the slope, hang left and pull up, slide and jump off with a left curve to land on a ledge. Turn left, jump to the next ledge, go through the opening and jump over the spike trap to the corner ledge. Jump to grab the window sill, pull up and pull down the wall switch to your right to open an underwater trap door. Hop down to the previous ledge, hang from the edge and drop from the corner to a safe spot in the spike field for SECRET #3. Pick up the flares and go through the crawl space to find shotgun ammo and a large medipack. Pull up onto the ledge and climb the ladder to another crawl space.

 

Release, grab quickly and pull up into the crawl space. Lower Lara down the side and safety drop to a familiar ledge. Jump over the spike field to the next ledge, go through the opening and jump to the next ledge and from there into the water below. The trap door you opened is near an opening you can see above a ramp in the canyon wall (later). Swim down into a flooded grotto and find an underwater lever on the other side of a central column. Pull it, note for later the wall opening ahead and swim back up the trap door shaft. Pull out onto the ramp and run forward into the next area.

 

Pick up the shotgun ammo and climb the green-covered blocks. Turn right and take a running jump to grab the next block. Pull up twice to find a wall switch that opens the gate you saw earlier from the other side. Jump left toward the campfire and make your way around the ledge past the obstruction to the next corner where a gate has opened. Enter the passage for SECRET #4 and shotgun ammo. When you pick it up a guard appears just outside the passage.

 

Go clockwise along the ledge again to the large opening and make your way down to the gray block in the next area as described earlier.  This time, however, drop to the lower ledge and turn back to your left. Jump to grab the crack and shimmy left until you can pull up in a crawling position. Crawl to the other side (you can't shimmy around corners in TR3), turn around and hang from the edge, shimmy left and pull into an alcove for SECRET #5 and pick up the flares, shotgun ammo and a small medipack. Drop down into the water and swim down the trap door shaft. 

 

Swim past the central column through the small opening you saw earlier, continue past a larger opening and turn left at the far corner. Note the opening ahead and go there for air, then return and search the side passages for the DESERT EAGLE and a large medipack. Pull out of the water and shoot the waiting snake. Search the room for a small medipack and shotgun ammo, then pull down the wall switch to open the gate. Save your game before entering. Sprint down the corridor as spike walls converge from either side.

 

When you bang against the door at the far end it opens, so turn left to avoid another spike wall advancing from your right. Crawl through the opening to find a blade-protected passage to your left and a crawl space to your right. Enter the crawl space and follow around for flares, shotgun ammo and uzi ammo. Return to the blade trap, jump over it and stop before your momentum carries you into the spikes. Save your game again for another delicate maneuver. You can either jump with a twist over the spikes so you land on the slope sliding backward, or you can walk backward through the spike field and slide without jumping at all. Either way, grab the edge, hang left and drop to trigger two more spike walls.    

 

Turn left upon landing, jump over a spike trench and stay right. Get into the floor crawl space before the second spike wall reaches you. Grab the large medipack to your right and pull down the wall switch to your left to open the door. Negotiate your way past the blade traps with jumps and grabs, and the door at the other end opens upon your approach. Slide down onto a breaktile (it helps to jump to bump your head while sliding so you can run immediately upon landing), jump forward to the next breaktile and take a running jump to grab the third breaktile.  Pull up and jump forward to grab the ledge. You can see the spike wall ahead, so shimmy all the way left before pulling up. Dart left into the alcove until the wall goes by.

 

Go to the other end of the ledge and hop into the opening for a remote camera and pick up the flares. Stand with your back to the wall and jump slightly right to grab the crack. Shimmy right until you can pull up into an opening. Step forward into a cave and get on the block in the far right corner. Jump left to grab the higher ledge, pull up and jump left onto a ledge in the central column. Turn left, take a running jump to the wall ledge, turn around and jump to the ledge on the other side of the central column for more flares.

 

Jump back to the wall ledge, jump up higher onto the jutting ledge (you can't grab it for some reason) so you can reach a higher tier of ledges on the central column. Pick up the uzi ammo on the far ledge, jump back to the wall ledge and pull up left onto the green block. Pull up once more, turn left and jump to grab the crack. Pull into the crawl space, crawl around right to a ladder and climb up to what appears to be a buried structure. Follow the wall to the corner and meet two waiting guards.

 

Note the closed door around the corner and follow the nearby passage to another section of the Great Wall. Climb the ladder to the bridge and pull down the wall switch to your left to open the door. Just inside, pull up left for harpoons. Exit, loop around left and get on the nearest block. Jump higher to the other side of the wall, back flip onto the slope and jump off the grab the roof. Pull up for SECRET #6 and collect grenades, a small medipack, shotgun ammo and desert eagle ammo.

 

Get back down to the bridge you just came from, locate the gap and jump down into the water far below. There's only one direction you can go, so swim until you can wade out into a fenced compound. Hop up the bank opposite from the parked trucks and go around to pull up onto a ledge. Shoot the snake and pick up the INDRA KEY it was hiding. A cut scene shows you where it goes, but take cover quickly to evade the gunfire of four guards down in the compound. The keyhole is in the column next to the parked trucks, so use the Indra Key to open the gate to the zip line. Ride the zip line down, drop into the opening and slide down the slope to end the level.
