PAPER HOUSE (DEMO)

Begin in a black-and-white setting during a storm. Step forward down the hallway and a flyby takes over. When it concludes, continue a past couple of keyholes and through a lounge to a larger room. Search the shelf directly ahead for a small medipack you'll never use and return to the lounge to find a KEY at a corner of the table. Use it in the lighter-textured keyhole in the hallway to open the adjacent door.

 

Enter the bedroom and note the cute drawing of a gal in a Ranpyon-type pose. For a cruel trick you can save your game and press the button below the shelf speakers if you wish. Search the cabinet next to the stepladder for another small medipack and exit to the hallway. The opposite door opens automatically, so you can enter the music room to find absolutely nothing of interest inside. Or so it seems.

 

Return to the far room where you found the first small medipack to make the discovery that the plant jar is a pushpiece (as opposed to the similar one in the music room). Move it away from another KEY, and you know where to place it. Enter the kitchen and take the CROWBAR from the top of the microwave. Use it to open the window to your right and enter a storage room. There's a button in the corner that's too low to reach, so retreat to the hallway and the room where you found the first Key to see a similar window you can open with the crowbar.

 

Do that and go down the stairs to a small basement and pull down the wall switch to your left. Go back up to the music room and squeeze past the easel in the corner next to the door to find a hidden wall switch. Pull it down to lower a block in the storage room next to the kitchen. Return there and push the now-accessible button in the corner to open the door to the bathroom across the hallway. Go there and loop around right and use the crowbar to pry the light switch from the wall. Take a quick shower if you wish by pressing the button to your left. Exit and return down the stairs to the small basement. Place whatever you took from the bathroom in the slot next to the wall switch to turn on the lights.

 

The wall switch resets, but it's timed. Pull it down once again to open a door near the spot where you began the level, return there as quickly as possible, sprinting down the hallway and scooting left past the opening into the guest bedroom just before the door closes in your face. Push the button next to the window to end the level.
