LEVEL 1: RIVER GUAPORE

 

First Secrets

Let the current take you but try to swim always to your left to eventually find a croc and the SECRET #1: a large medipack in a corner. In the next river area get out of the water, shoot several bats and pick up the small medipack. Nothing more to do here, so jump into the water and swim through the opening in the S side; let the current takes you and swim always to your left when possible until eventually you reach an area where you can surface and pull a wall switch to open a door (*) somewhere. Swim back to the main course of the river and just before the area with the wooden bridge swim to the left side to find a large medipack near the aquatic plants. From the corner with this large medipack, swim now in the S direction to find an opening with automatic pistols ammo, continue and surface in a small area, shoot the bats and get the SECRET #2: uzi clips and a small medipack in the holes.

 

The Rusty Key

Swim back to the main course of the river and from the area with the wooden bridge swim directly N, through the left opening and when you reach the wooden door (**) swim through the hanging plants in the right side and immediately left to a niche with the SECRET #3: a large medipack; escape from the croc and swim always left until another current takes you to an area where you can go out of the water, shoot the dogs, the crocs and look in the side of the hut for a wooden block you can drag so you can reach its roof, shoot the bats, drop through the hole with the breakable tile and once inside the hut shoot more bats and pick up the small medipack and the Rusty Key; pull the switch to open the exit door and shoot a dog outside.

 

Area with Many Dogs

Pick up the automatic pistols ammo in the NE corner, a large medipack and uzi clips in the water and continue swimming through the E UW opening. At the end of the UW passage get out of the water and shoot the crocs, now go to the opening in the SE corner, drop onto the raised trapdoor and once on ground floor shoot a horde of wild dogs, pick up the large medipack behind the plant in the SW corner, climb the E rock, climb the opening, avoid all the rolling boulders and pull the wall switch at the end of the cave to open a door in the area where you shot the last crocs. Go back there (the trapdoor is now raised) and pick up a small medipack in front of the open door.

 

Opening the Undewater Door

Enter, pick up the small medipack and jump into the water hole, avoid all the rolling boulders and in the next small room shoot the bats and jump into the pool to pull an UW lever: a far wooden door (**) opens. On your way back, in the room with the spikes in the floor don’t jump into the water yet, but from the open door turn right and run N over the rocks to the dark NW corner to get the SECRET #4: the Automatic Pistols. Jump into the water, pick up the automatic pistols ammo and swim S (you can’t go back the way you came ‘cause the strong current) and eventually you’ll find the area with the wooden bridge above, swim again directly N, through the left opening and look for the open wooden door (**).

 

On the Banks of the River

In the next room shoot the wild dogs and use the key to open the door, pull the switch and from this corner run straight ahead S jumping over the spikes to the river bank. Continue to the very end (SW corner) and turn right-right to find the crack you saw in the camera shot, grab it and shimmy left. For a secret: when you reach the dark part with the raised trapdoor pull up through the hanging plants, climb the rocks and slide down the slope backwards, grab the edge, pull up and jump back to get the SECRET #5: the Uzis. Slide onto the breakable tile to return to the river bank. Grab the crack again and this time shimmy to the very end, pull up, roll and take a running jump to grab the branch of the tree at the other side of the river, drop to ground floor, pick up the uzi clips and shoot several bats. Locate the movable crate and pull/push it so you can go back up to the tree branch, take a running jump to grab the wooden bridge and go left to find the door (*) you opened a long time ago with the first switch you used near the beginning of this level (read the first paragraph).

 

Wooden Bridges

Enter, run up the steps and drop at the end of the corridor, make your way to avoid all the rolling boulders and continue to a room with a croc and another wooden bridge; pick up the automatic pistols ammo, cross the bridge and advance shooting some bats on your way until you eventually find an open area with spiked floor and a croc; climb the tall block next to the water and take a running jump to the other side of the river, turn left, climb the next block and jump clockwise from ledge to ledge to reach the high opening in the corner, advance, cross another wooden bridge and soon you’ll find the area with the big building Lara talked about when starting the level; pull the switch to open the door and enter to finish this first level.

 

 

LEVEL 2: PRINCE OF BEIRA FORTRESS

 

Two Books – Raising the First Trapdoor

Approach to the door in the corner and it opens, enter, shoot the gorillas and pick up the Book Entitled ‘Armas’ and the small medipack. Back outside the WC go through the opening in the opposite side, run up the steps, shoot another gorilla, pick up the large medipack and pull the switch to open the doors. In the outside area shoot more gorillas and go either left or right (I went left) to the street below. Go left (W) and pick up the uzi clips in the corner, continue S and in the courtyard with the tents pick up the small medipack, the automatic pistols ammo and shoot a cowboy. Jump into the garden full of plants next to the S wall to get the SECRET #6: a large medipack; pull the nearby wall switch, shoot another cowboy and once inside the building pick up the uzi clips, 2 X automatic pistols ammo and the Book Entitled ‘Globolixo’; pull the switch to raise a trapdoor somewhere (*) and exit.

 

Room with the Movable Crate

Now go left-left through the street leading to the E, shoot the gorillas and continue E to the wide area with the trucks; shoot more gorillas and pick up the small medipack between the trucks, continue N to another courtyard with snowy tiles under the closed doors and approach to the door in the W building; the door will open, shoot three gorillas, enter, pick up the small medipack and the automatic pistols ammo in the corners, move the crate under the high wall switch and pull it to lower a trapdoor in the center of the room. Don’t go there yet, but to get a secret later move the crate to the SE corner to pull another high switch to open a door in a remote area full of gorillas (**).

 

Into the Sewers (I)

Now drop through the hole in the center of the room and once into the water swim through the W opening and climb the ledge to your right, continue W and right around the corner to find a wall switch: pull it to open double doors in the outside area. To exit from these sewers jump into the water and climb the opposite ledge in the NW corner, the door will open and you can run up the steps and pull a wall switch to get back into the outside area (***) (remember this place) where a couple of gorillas await and also a strange woman who in my game was stucked running against the fence in the SE corner.

 

The Inner Area

Anyway go all the way to the very SE end of the city, to the courtyard with the trucks and the campfire (the woman attacks again from a street in the left side and also a gorilla coming from a room in the very E side) and look for the building with the Jesus Christ picture, enter, shoot the woman one more time and pull the switch in the corner (note the keyhole and the closed door, for much later), go outside and all the way back to the very NW corner of the city, to the place where you came from the sewers (***) and locate the open door, go through the corridor, shoot the gorillas and explore this inner area to find a large medipack and 2 X automatic pistols ammo. In one of the buildings (**) there is the SECRET #7: 3 X uzi clips (only if you’ve pulled the switch in the room with the movable crate) and in the other building the woman appears again; pick up the uzi clips and pull the switch to raise a trapdoor somewhere (****).

 

The Confiscated Rooms Good Key

Now go back to the courtyard with the big wheels, where the gorillas were and clockwise to the very SW corner where a door will open as you approach, go right to the campfire with the tents and right again (E), turn left at the fence and go inside an empty building with two gorillas; in the next building (exit and go left-left) there are automatic pistols ammo and a switch to pull, it opens the door to get access to the E building. Go there and shoot a bad guy roaming around on the high E ledge, climb there to pull a switch to open the trapdoor next to the S wall, drop down and pick up the uzi clips and the automatic pistols ammo on the window sill, drop through the hole and drag the movable crate in the SE corner to get the SECRET #8: uzi clips and a small medipack. Pull the switch to open the door and find yourself in the room with a deep pit and the trapdoor (*) you raised time ago, take standing jumps onto the green ledges and finally a running jump to the raised trapdoor; run up the steps to return to the sewers and get the Confiscated Goods Room Key, jump into the water and take the same route as before to go to the outside areas of the city (open door in the NW corner).

 

Third Book

Now run E to the courtyard with the music device, go left-right to find the keyhole and use your key to open the door. Inside the building pick up the Forbidden Song disk; go outside and left-left to use the disk in the music device: the doors in the N and S buildings open releasing Pierre and also a couple of gorillas and two more on the roofs. When the calm is restored go into the S building to get a large medipack and into the N building to pull a switch opening a nearby door. Go outside and left to find the open door, enter and shoot the woman again (this time she dies), pick up the Book Entitled ‘Orgulho HT’ in front of the barrel in fire and pull the switch in the niche to open double doors somewhere.

 

Into the Sewers (II)

Go outside and run S to the campfire in the very SE corner of the city, turn left and run W, take a left at the first junction and right in the next one to find the doors you opened moments ago. When you run onto the trapdoor you’ll fall to the sewers. Run W and go through the opening at the end to pull a switch, jump into the water and swim through the passage with the raised gate in the W wall to finally reach a big room with a very huge statue.

 

Big Room with a Huge Statue

Go to the SE corner and climb the blocks, jump to the ledge attached to the wall, run left and take a running jump to the big pedestal with the statue, pull the switch in the recess, drop to ground floor, go inside the pedestal and pick up the Tithe Room Key. Shoot the bad guy and a bunch of gorillas too. Now go to the exit in the NE corner and pull the switch at the end of the corridor to get back to the city (there are uzi clips to pick up if you go left once outside). Now go all the long way back to the very SE end of the city and inside the building with the Jesus Christ picture, use the key to open the door and get the last book ‘Deus acima de tudo’.

 

Exiting the Level

Now you need to run all the way back to the W side of the city and to the room where you got the eight secret, from the entrance of the room with the deep pit this time turn left, take standing jumps onto the green ledges and finally a running jump to the raised trapdoor (****); run onto the breakable tiles and to get the last secret turn right and take a standing jump onto the bricked N ledge, grab the crack, shimmy left until you can pull up (the middle of the crack) and run to get the SECRET #9: automatic pistols ammo. Go out and jump into the lake below. Swim through the W UW passage, up through the air hole and down (N) to the closed door and the receptacles. Place the books to open the final door and slide down the ramp to finish this level.

 

 

LEVEL 3: RATANABA

 

First Secret

After the long fall swim to the small ledge in the SW corner to get a small medipack, swim N, get out of the water and go through the opening in the NE corner. In the room with the switch (better enter from the right side) to get the next secret climb the three yellow blocks better from the corners (fires start when you step onto); now pull the lonely switch and go back outside. Run to the W end of the ledge and in the opening near the corner three doors would be raised if you stepped onto the yellow blocks, enter and get the SECRET #10: automatic pistols ammo.

 

Second Secret

Go outside, jump into the lake and look for an opening in the N wall with the raised door, advance and in the next room climb the lower block, jump to the next one and take a running jump to grab the crack in the N wall, shimmy right and when you are over the breakable tile drop and quickly jump back, left and forth to land onto the broken bridge, roll and take a running jump onto the next breakable tiles, jump and run left around the corner to a safe block. For a secret: drop through the dark hole, swim and when you are behind the crack get the SECRET #11: automatic pistols ammo and uzi clips, continue and from the exit opening take a running jump to land onto the yellow steps.

 

Room with Strong Currents

Go down the steps and jump to the ledge with the switch, pull it, shoot the crawling atlanteans and drop to the floor; go E and jump into the water hole, to get extra automatic pistols ammo go right and let the current takes you, continue counterclockwise and when you see a small opening to your left swim through and in a NW direction so you are able to overcome the current and reach the tile with the UW lever, pull it and swim back to the previous room: the W door is now open. (Better swim W fighting against the current, because the door is timed and if you go all around perhaps you wont get it)

 

Spikes Room

In the room with many spikes try to go all around to reach the opening in the  E wall avoiding the rolling balls and the falling debris the best you can and shooting a flying atlantean on your way (I started with a running jump W-SW from the top of the brown ledge).

 

Maze with Teeth Doors

Once you are success run up the stairs and in the next room shoot a crawling atlantean and pull the switch behind the SW pillar to open a trapdoor in the ceiling, time the darts to climb the central ledge and jump up the hole. Pull another switch, drop back to the darts room, shoot another crawling atlantean and time the darts again to reach the next hole in the ceiling. In the maze with teeth doors look for a small medipack and also an opening in the ceiling you can climb near the NE corner; once in the upper floor you can get the SECRET #12: a small medipack, uzi clips and automatic pistols ammo if you take a diagonal running jump to save the teeth doors and the holes next to the W wall; anyway look for a switch to pull near the SE corner and make your way to go back down to the darts room.

 

Movable Blocks Puzzle

Shoot a couple of crawling atlanteans and locate a new open trapdoor in the ceiling; go up and in this room with movable blocks you must place them onto the 5 marked brown tiles to raise five doors in the corridor (easy), to do this you only need to use the N and W blocks, but if you are able to move the block in the SE corner too, your prize will be a large medipack. Anyway go to the corridor with all the raised doors, beware of the rolling boulder and pull the switch. Go back down to the darts room.

 

The Gemstone

As usual, shoot more crawling atlanteans and locate the last open trapdoor in the ceiling. In this room with two big rocky arms, jump into the water and locate an UW lever to pull under the first arm, climb the floating block between the arms, take a running jump N to the top of the first one and run E to get the Gemstone; from here take a running jump to the N rocky ledge and to the opening in the corner. Pull the switch at the end of the passage to lower the level of the waters in the arms room, go back there, jump into the water and climb the floating block next to the S wall, jump to the orange rocks and place the gem to open a door somewhere; now climb the floating block between the arms and jump to the opening in the W wall so you can reach the top of the first arm (shoot a crawling atlantean) and can go back to the passage with the switch as you did before to pull it again and raise the level of the waters; once back in the arms room climb the floating block next to the S wall and jump to the ledge with the open door.

 

Back to the Starting Room

In the next room beware of the falling debris, shoot the crawling atlantean and climb the block in the NW corner to reach the upper ledges, here is the door you opened with the gem, enter and pull a switch to raise trapdoors in the starting room. Go to the outside ledge and E, shoot a flying atlantean and continue through the opening in the corner, forget the breakable tile and climb the rocks to reach the trapdoors you raised moments ago; don’t waste time and jump from trapdoor to trapdoor to reach a high opening near the big cataract.

 

The Niobium

In the next room jump from rock to rock shooting several flying atlanteans on your way until you eventually reach the high opening in the N wall; enter and safely drop onto the second arm to get the Niobium, the double doors in the W wall are now open, so jump there to finish the level.

 

 

LEVEL 4: OLAVO’S LAIR

 

Choosing Switches

Run down the stairs and in the room with the skeleton pull the switch to open the door, time the swinging blades when going down the next stairs and in the new room pull the switch in the left side.

 

Avoid the rolling boulders in the corridor the best you can and continue to a room with 4 switches, pull the second one (counting from left to right) and jump into the water hole.

 

In the UW room pull the switch in the W niche and continue swimming.

 

In the room with the large medipack pull the switch in the right side.

 

Continue sliding down the ramp with the swinging blades (I started when the first blade is in the very right side) and in the next room with 4 switches, pull the second one (counting from left to right).

 

Another room with four switches, this time pull the switch with the flag of Israel above and the one with the cigar above too.

 

Small room with three switches: pull the one with the revolver above.

 

Another small room with three switches: pull the one with the viruses above.

 

In the room with two circles above the switches, the correct switch is the one with the black and white stripes above (I think the fascists hate gays) but to get the last secret of this adventure pull the switch with the multicolored circle above to drop into the room with the SECRET #13: 6 X uzi clips.

 

Final Battle

Slide down the ramp in the corner and in the UW room pull the switch with the USA flag to open the exit trapdoor in the SE corner; once out of the water pull both switches to raise the last grates and jump onto the platform where a peculiar Torso will appear; when you defeat him the adventure finishes.
