Swim forward and climb out of water. Cross the threshold with weapons drawn because Pierre is hiding behind that first golden hand; shoot him a few times to scare him away. Out through the other end of the vestibule, the path to the right requires a key we've yet to procure, so head left first and shoot two crocodiles in the pool.
Take a dip and swim through the opening on the bottom to a lower chamber housing a small medipack and a LEAD BAR. Right now, one is all you need, so go back to the golden hand and convert it into a GOLD BAR. Trace your steps back to the room where you killed the crocodiles and jump over the rocks on the ledge to go up the stairs in the back and place the gold bar to unlock the gates.
Proceed through the tilted cavern until you get to the next golden hand, and, somehow, Pierre has found his way here before you did, so scare him away again. You can collect a small medipack from the pool, then proceed up the stairs in the back end of this chamber.
When you reach the room with the tall stone ledge, first head left to inspect a closed door there. All three doors in the room have a combination, so in this case we're looking at γΩΩΩΩ. Loop around the ledge to find some blocks you can use to get to the top and face the wall switches. For this first combination, just throw the first one counting from the left. Hop over the gap and do a long running jump to the pillar in the corner for a large medipack.
Safety drop and go through the open door beneath the switches. At the bottom, get a small medipack behind the short column on dry ground, and another one behind the underwater column. Swim through the lower underwater tunnel and emerge in a small corridor on the other side, watch out for a lion trying to push you into the spike field ahead.
You might want to save your game before attempting the sequence of slide jumps and breakaway floating tiles over the spike pit. It's not particularly difficult, just make sure you jump a bit earlier than you normally would so the TR1 engine has enough time to register your input. When you get to the other end, you're not safe just yet so hurry to the small doorway to avoid the rolling boulder coming from the right.
Hop over the deadly funnel to throw the switch in the back, then jump back across and get a large medipack. To get back to the other side of the spike field, enter the tunnel where the boulder rolled from, now to your left. As soon as you pull up to the slope, another boulder rolls down from the back, so quickly hop back and wait it out. When you're in the clear, simply proceed to the other end of the corridor.
Swim back to the room with the columns and use the now extended short one on dry land to reach the rocky ledges above, from there you can jump to the top of the tall column to get to the open door in the wall. Do a long running jump to the flat ledge ahead, collect magnum clips and pull the switch in the back to open the cage right below you, getting a lionific view of what's to come.
Use either of the large rocks to safely slide down to the lower level, then gather small medipack and magnum clips on the far ends of this U-shaped hallway surrounding the lion den. Don't worry, they seem to be rather comfortable where they are. When you're ready, stand just outside the cage and dispatch all eight lions before going in and claiming their LEAD BAR.
Return upstairs, through the side passage in the chamber with the columns, and loop around the stone ledge to climb to the top again. Now let's open the door just opposite the switches — γΩγγΩ —, so, counting from the left, you want to lower switches no. 1, no. 3 and no. 4.
Carefully run down the tunnel as a gnashing teeth trap protects the other end. Get a small medipack from the right corner and save your game before attempting the jump over the spike field and through the swinging axes overhead. When you grab the edge on other side, pull up and immediately hop back to grab the ledge so that boulder flies right over your head. Pull up and heal up, if necessary, then jump over to the left to an alcove with a switch.
You might want to save your game again as this is a short but somewhat tight timed run. When you pull the switch, the door protected by flames on the opposite side of the room can be accessed, but the catch is that there isn't a whole lot of room to maneuver. So, throw the switch, roll and do a running jump swerving to the right side of the middle ledge; this should give you enough room to keep your momentum and link up another running jump to the extinguished pillar. Quickly pull up through the door before it's too late.
Jump over the spike trap and run towards any wall to dodge two boulders. A third boulder will chase you as you run down the next hallway, but keep your cool: approach the gap and wait a couple of seconds before jumping across, then immediately backflip to avoid the next boulder coming from the opposite side. Take the LEAD BAR in the back and return to the room with the five switches.
Open the final door — γΩΩΩγ — by resetting switches no. 3 and no. 4 and lowering switch no. 5. Go through the open door in the lower corner to find yourself on catwalks above the latest golden hand. Hop over the gap to your left for magnum clips then safety drop down and turn the bars in your possession into TWO GOLD BARS. Go back around to get on the ledges again and this time around jump over to the receptacles where you can place these bars to open the gates just below.
Enter the room with the broken columns and find the RUSTY KEY on top of the metal block, plus a small medipack next to it. Now retrace your steps all the way to the first hand by going through the tilted cave. Enter the other side passage now to find yourself in a small garden. Climb to the top of the structures in the back for a small medipack and magnum clips, then use the key to open the gate leading to the next golden hand.
We only need one final bar now, so let's find one. Swim through the underwater opening below the hand and pull the underwater lever hidden by the rocks in there. Swim back out to find the tall open gate to your left and swim inside. Pull out of the water next to the fake blue door and use a rock in the corner to reach the top ledge. Through the opening in the opposite corner, do a simple series of running jumps over the ledges to get to a LEAD BAR in the end.
The hand is just below you, so make your shiny GOLD BAR and place it in the receptacle nearby for the final showdown. Swim through the underwater passage below the hand again to the find an open door and climb out of water. The prize has already been seized by Pierre. Gun him down, for good this time, as well as two lions and two gorillas running around.
Loot the rival's body for MAGNUMS, a GOLD KEY, and a GOLD ARTIFACT. Use the key to unlock the exit door and save your game, as one final ambush awaits just outside the door in front of you. Step outside briefly to catch the attention of four gorillas plus four lions. You can lure them back inside and use the exit door as a bottleneck as you shoot them from the center of the room.
When silence has been restored, simply run towards daylight to wrap things up here.
